Abstract

Studi kerapatan dan perubahan tutupan mangrove menggunakan citra satelit sangat penting dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi ekosistem mangrove secara eksisting. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kerapatan dan perubahan tutupan mangrove menggunakan Citra Satelit Landsat 8 OLI dan Sentinel-2A Level 1C di Kecamatan Lasalepa, Kabupaten Muna. Pengamatan kerapatan mangrove secara insitu menggunakan plot pengamatan 100m2. Analisis perubahan tutupan mangrove menggunakan citra satelit multitemporal (2015-2020) dengan metode klasifikasi supervised classification. Terdapat lima jenis mangrove pada empat stasiun pengamatan. Pada Stasiun I-III dengan nilai kerapatan mangrove: 1.480 pohon/ha, 1.320 pohon/ha, dan 1.440 pohon/ha terkategori Baik (Sedang), sedangkan Stasiun IV dengan nilai kerapatan 2.120 pohon/ha terkategori Baik (Sangat Padat). Berdasarkan hasil analisis citra, perubahan tutupan lahan dalam rentang tahun 2015-2020 menunjukkan adanya peningkatan luasan.

Abstract

Chemistry is not merely a science that only studies theory in class. Chemistry learning requires practical or experimental activities to observe and directly apply chemical concepts during face-to-face meetings in class. Meanwhile, the unavailability of laboratory facilities is one of the factors in not carrying out chemistry practice. This causes students difficulties in understanding the concept of chemistry as a whole and can potentially reduce learning motivation. This public service activity aims to implement the Hyperchem software for teachers and students of SMA Negeri 1 Mawasangka Timur as an alternative solution for chemistry labs in the form of electronic labs. The chemical topics selected and considered suitable for this type of practice were the structure and properties of chemical compounds. This activity is carried out in the form of a workshop. Workshop materials use lectures, simulations, discussions, and question-and-answer models. The activity's results showed the workshop participants' enthusiasm to use the Hyperchem software as a chemistry lab media. This is reflected in the evaluation of the workshop implementation, which is carried out by assessing the response of the workshop participants based on indicators of relevance, the ability of the presenters, ease of use, availability, and usefulness of the Hyperchem software. The evaluation results show that the workshop and the implementation of the Hyperchem software as an electronic practice media for visualizing the structure and properties of chemical compounds received a positive response from the workshop participants.

Abstract

Perikanan tangkap merupakan sektor perikanan penting dalam meningkatkan perekonomian khususnya nelayan. Namun sektor ini masih menghadapi banyak tantangan dan permasalahan. Nelayan Desa Tondowolio memiliki produktivitas perikanan tangkap yang masih tergolong rendah yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya infrastruktur dan teknologi. Sehingga membutuhkan solusi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan melalui hilirisasi teknologi salah satunya alat pengumpul ikan berupa rumpon dasar. Tujuan pelatihan pembuatan rumpon dasar adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan nelayan dalam membuat alat bantu pengumpul ikan untuk meningkatkan hasil tangkapan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu sosialisasi fungsi dan keunggulan rumpon dasar, persiapan alat dan bahan, demonstrasi serta pendampingan pembuatan rumpon dasar. Pelatihan pembuatan rumpon dasar dilaksanakan di Desa Tondowolio dengan Mitra sasaran Kelompok Nelayan Dayung Sakti Tondowolio. Hasil pelatihan diperoleh bahwa nelayan mitra mampu mengetahui dan melakukan seluruh tahapan pembuatan rumpon dasar meliputi persiapan alat dan bahan, serta pembuatan rumpon dasar dengan mengikuti langkah-langkah yang diperoleh dari hasil sosialisasi.

Abstract

Praktik Destructive Fishing menggunakan bom ikan oleh beberapa nelayan masih marak dilakukan di kawasan perairan Kabupaten Buton Tengah. Oleh karena itu, beberapa ekosistem terumbu karang di perairan Buton Tengah telah mengalami kerusakan. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk melakukan transplantasi dan pelepasan media penempelan karang melalui pendekatan berbasis kelompok nelayan di Perairan Teluk Lianabanggai, Desa Lanto, Kabupaten Buton Tengah. Transplantasi menggunakan media kubus beton, dan media penempelan larva karang berupa bioreeftek. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan bahaya dan dampak destructive fishing bagi keberlanjutan sumberdaya perikanan dan meningkatkan kapasitas mitra dalam upaya rehabilitasi terumbu karang. Pelaksanaan sosialisasi dan penguatan kapasitas mitra dilakukan secara langsung dengan metode ceramah. Pembuatan media transplantasi menggunakan media beton berbentuk kubus dan bioreeftek menggunakan batok kelapa. Pelepasan media dilakukan secara partisipatif, yaitu masyarakat kelompok nelayan terlibat secara aktif. Hasil kegiatan ini berupa peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap bahaya dan dampak destructive fishing, peningkatan kapasitas masyarakat mengenai rehabilitasi terumbu karang. Masyarakat sangat antusias mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan ini mengingat kegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan yang pertama kali dilakukan di Desa Lanto, Kabupaten Buton Tengah. Diperlukan adanya upaya penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai status kondisi terumbu karang di perairan Selat Lianabanggai, Kabupaten Buton Tengah.

Abstract

Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) is one of the environmental instruments that aims to realize sustainable development. So, it is hoped that in making the Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD), the SEA can be compiled as the basis for its preparation. However, many regions still make SEA after preparing the RPJMD. So, this research aims to analyze the significant factors of the SEA-RPJMD, which play an essential role in creating the RPJMD with sustainable development goals. The method used in this research is MICMAC analysis. The data is obtained from secondary data. The variables in this study consisted of 5 variables, namely the carrying capacity and capacity of the environment for development (carr), estimates of environmental impacts and risks (risk), performance of ecosystem services (serv), efficiency of natural resource utilization (eff) and the level of vulnerability and capacity to adapt to climate change (climate). The results of the analysis show that the efficiency of natural resource use (eff) and estimates of environmental impacts and risks (risk) have a relationship that can affect the whole system, this has been shown from the results of the analysis, which states that these two variables are in the linkage/relay position. In addition, from the relationship of variables, estimates of environmental impacts and risks (risk) have the most significant influence on the system. It shows that estimates of environmental impacts and risks must be studied deeply to realize an insightful RPJMD for sustainable development. Keywords: Direct, Indirect, Relationship, SEA

Abstract

Background: Cardiac catheterization is a minimally invasive intervention that can cause complications of vascular access after compression of the femoral artery or sheath removal. Cold pack gel is a non-pharmacological therapy given after sheat removal to reduce pain. Objective:This study aimed to measure the effect of ice pack gel on pain reduction in arterial sheath removal post-cardiac catheterization patients. Methods: This interventional clinical study with control and group treatment was conducted in the cardiology room of Saiful Anwar Hospital Malang, Indonesia. The respondents (n=32) were divided into two groups in pre and post-test control group design. Group A receives pressure bandages as a standard protocol (control groups) while group B, ice-packed gel. Pain scale measured by Visual Analog Scale (VAS) by 1-10. Results: The Mann-Whitney test in two groups shows that there are differences in scores of pain reduction. The pain reduction difference in the treatment group (ice pack gel) was higher than the control ones (p < 0.001). The cold temperature of the cold-packed gel decreased the peripheral free nerve ending conductivity, furthermore, it made sensitivity stimulus or pain impulses slowed down then reduced the perception of pain. Conclusions: The intervention of ice-packed gel is more effective than the standard protocols to reduce the pain in the removal sheath post cardiac catheterization.

Abstract

Program penerapan teknologi sero set net dan bubu fish trap serta rehabilitasi mangrove di Desa Tanggeawo bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan nelayan dan memperbaiki ekosistem pesisir. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Participatory Action Research (PAR) mencakup pelatihan, pendampingan, dan sosialisasi. Pelatihan alat tangkap ini berhasil meningkatkan hasil tangkapan nelayan, yang berdampak langsung pada peningkatan pendapatan. Selain itu, sosialisasi rehabilitasi mangrove memberikan pemahaman kepada mitra tentang pentingnya menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan. Pendampingan dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dengan monitoring hasil tangkapan dan kondisi bibit mangrove. Hasilnya, teknologi yang diterapkan menunjukkan peningkatan efektivitas dan efisiensi dalam penangkapan ikan serta kesadaran ekologis yang meningkat di kalangan nelayan. Partisipasi aktif mitra nelayan menunjukkan keberhasilan program ini dalam mendorong perikanan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kelurahan Anaiwoi yang terletak di Kecamatan Tanggetada, Kabupaten Kolaka, merupakan salah satu daerah yang memiliki potensi perikanan yang cukup besar, khususnya ikan malaja (Siganus spp) yang banyak diminati oleh masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis ikan malaja yang terdapat di perairan Tanggetada, khususnya di Tempat Pendaratan Ikan (TPI) Anaiwoi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juli hingga September, dengan pengambilan sampel dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan sembilan spesies yang termasuk dalam famili Siganidae: Siganus doliatus, Siganus canaliculatus, Siganus punctatus, Siganus fuscencens, Siganus corallinus, Siganus argenteus, Siganus puellus, Siganus spinus dan Siganus vulpinus. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa dua spesies yang paling sering ditangkap oleh nelayan lokal adalah S. canaliculatus dan S. doliatus. Hasil penelitian ini menggarisbawahi keanekaragaman spesies ikan malaja di perairan Tanggetada dan potensinya yang secara signifikan dapat mendukung sektor perikanan lokal

Abstract

This community service activity aims to map the infrastructure and boundaries of Kamisi Village, Kodeoha District, North Kolaka Regency used drone. Mapping is carried out as an effort to support the implementation of planned and sustainable village development. This activity was carried out for two months (February-April) in 2023. The implementation method consists of 5 stages: 1) location survey, 2) taking coordinate points using GPS, 3) taking aerial photos using the DJI Mavic2 Pro Drone which supports mapping activities, 4) data processing with Arc.GIS software, and 5) submission of maps to the village government. The results obtained are detailed maps of infrastructure (village gates, village offices, roads and bridges), hamlet boundaries, residential areas, plantation/agricultural areas, and village public facilities (sports fields, places of worship/mosques, health facilities such as integrated health posts and health centers, and TPU). This map is expected to be a reference for village development and minimize the potential for conflict between villages and hamlets regarding territorial boundaries. Active participation of the community and village government shows high support for synergy between universities and villages in regional development.
