Abstract

This Research Aimed At Expressing The Meaning Of Symbols Of Priyambada Mustakaweni Dance. It Is Used Qualitative Method. The Data Collecting Techniques Were Through Observation, In Depth Interview, And Documentation. The Data Validation Used Data Triangulation Technique And Informan Review. The Data Was Analyzed Through The Process Of Reduction, Presentation, And Data Verification. The Results Of The Research Are That The Performance Form Of Priyambada Mustakaweni Dance Consist Of Title, Theme, Number Of Dancers, Movements, Place, Accompaniment, Makeup And Costume, Property, And Lighting. The Meaning Of Priyambada Mustakaweni Dance Is Reflected Through The Movements Perang Tantang-Tantangan, Perang Keris And Perang Gendhewa. (1) Perang Tantang-Tantangan Has A Meaning Of A Brave Female Soldier And Ready To Fight For The Country, (2) Perang Keris, Has An Implied Meaning That A Soldier Ha A Strategy And Power To Defend His Country, (3)Perang Gendhewa Implies That A Soldier Should Be Trained And Is Always Alert From Enemy’s Attack. Abstract

The Warak Dugder dance is a new creation dance inspired by the dugderan tradition in welcoming the month of Ramadan in Semarang City. The purpose of this research is to analyze feminism and the role of women in the performing arts of Warak Dugder Dance, Semarang City. This research uses qualitative research methods with an anthropological approach. The data analysis used to analyze the feminism of the Warak Dugder Dance consists of three lines, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data collection techniques using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results show that the Warak Dugder Dance illustrates the excitement of the atmosphere of the dugderan ritual ceremony in the Semarang city by adapting the characteristics and culture of the multicultural people of Semarang City. Feminism in the Warak Dugder Dance is a feminism of a radical-cultural field, which means that a woman does not need to be like a man, women still have strength that focus on tenderness, and women are the owners of their own bodies. The movement of female dancers rejecting male dancers in the Warak Dugder Dance illustrates the power of women to protect themselves and their honor. The Warak Dugder dance is often performed only displays female dancers, it proofs that female dancers have a role in strengthening the existence of the Warak Dugder Dance. The benefit of this research is to provide information related to the concept of feminism and the contribution of female dancers in the Warak Dugder Dance, the motivator for the community's enthusiasm to continue to preserve the regional arts of Semarang City, especially the Warak Dugder Dance, and to confirm that female dancers play a role in the existence of the Warak Dugder Dance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the problems, adaptation strategies, and factors that influenced music learning at SMA Negeri 5 Purwokerto during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 5 Purwokerto. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Validation of data used triangulation techniques with data analysis techniques using interactive models. This study found that in the online learning process at SMA Negeri 5 Purwokerto, the problems faced were differences in student understanding and limited facilities and infrastructure. There are three strategies for adapting music learning at SMA Negeri 5 Purwokerto during the Covid-19 pandemic. First, the method adaptation strategy is carried out using the blended learning method. Second, the media adaptation strategy is carried out by changing the lesson plans, using smartphones, laptops, and video conferencing through the Google Classroom application, Zoom, and Whatsapp. Third, the assessment adaptation strategy is carried out by assessing student attendance, assessing assignment portfolios and exams. Factors that influence online learning of music subjects at SMA Negeri 5 Purwokerto consist of internal and external factors. Students' internal factors can be seen from intelligence, talent, student health conditions, learning methods, understanding and interests, and motivation. The most influencing factors are intelligence & talent, student understanding and interest, and motivation. Meanwhile, the external factors in this study are the physical environment, school, and family environment. The external factor that influences the student learning online the most is the physical environment factor. Abstract

Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah, para guru Sekolah Menegah Pertama kabupaten Semarang belum memberikan pelajaran seni budaya tari menggunakan pendekatan apresiasi dan kreasi untuk menuju tercapainya pendidikan yang diinginkan di sekolah umum. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah ingin mengenalkan bagaimana menerapkan metode pembelajaran seni budaya tari menggunakan pendekatan apresiasi dan kreasi itu. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan pembelajaran seni budaya tari menggunakan pendekatan apresiasi dan kreasi. Metode pembelajaran dilaksanakan menggunakan ceramah, tanya jawab, demonstrasi, latihan, dan drill. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dapat dikemukakan, dapat dipahaminya pembelajaran pendidikan seni budaya tari oleh para guru menggunakan pendekatan apresiasi dan kreasi. Langkah pembelajaran apresiasi melalui empat tahapan utama, yakni pengenalan awal atau deskripsi, pemahaman, interpretasi atau penghayatan, dan evaluasi atau penilaian. Langkah kreativitas telah dipahami sebagai pengembangan apresiasi dalam bentuk karya tari. Prosesnya berangkat dari adanya ide, memunculkan konsep, penuangan ide dan konsep dalam bentuk gerak, meramu gerak dalam bentuk tarian utuh, dan terwujudnya produk karya tari baru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bentuk penyajian danpelestarian Tari Manora di Sekolah Wattonglongmittrapp 198. Metode yang digunakan adalahmetode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melaluiobservasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi serta dianalasis dengan tahap-tahap yaitu pengumpulandata, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan yang disahkan dengan triangulasidata. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Sekolah Wattonglongmittrap 198 berperan dalam usahamelestarikan Tari Manora sebagai pembelajaran dan pengenalan budaya kepada generasi mudayaitu siswa. Bentuk penyajian Tari Manora di Sekolah Wattonglongmittrap 198 meliputi gerak,pelaku, iringan, rias busana, dan tempat pentas. Gerak dalam Tari Manora di sekolah terdapatgerak maknawi yaitu sebagai penggambaran binatang dan gerak murni, gerak yang dibawakan disekolah lebih disederhanakan dan divariasikan. Pelaku yaitu warga sekolah diantaranya siswa TK(Anuban) sampai dengan siswa SD (Pratom), guru-guru, serta Direktur Sekolah selaku penari.Musik eksternal berupa sebuah lagu berjudul (jangan lupakan Manora). Riasdan busana Tari Manora di Sekolah yaitu tidak menggunakan riasan wajah dan busana yaituseragam sekolah. Tempat pentas Tari Manora yaitu lapangan sekolah. Pelestarian Tari Manora diSekolah dilakukan melalui tiga aspek yaitu perlindungan Tari Manora dilakukan melalui kegiatanmenari Tari Manora di Sekolah bersama-sama dan proses latihan untuk siswa sebagai peraga,pengembangan dilakukan melalui pengembangan gerak serta musik, dan pemanfaatan dilakukansebagai sarana pendidikan serta tontonan.Kata Kunci: Tari Manora, pelestarian tari, rias dan busana

Abstract

Sanggar Tari Pandu merupakan lembaga pendidikan non formal yang berkecimpung dalam dunia seni pertunjukan di Kabupaten Pati. Sanggar Tari Pandu memiliki hasil karya unggulan yang berjudul Tari Topeng Mina Tani yang menjadi materi sekaligus pengenalan kepada peserta didikterhadap tari tradisional. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai Evaluasi Pembelajaran Tari Topeng Mina Tani Pada Sanggar Tari Pandu Kabupaten Pati yang meliputi dari komponen pembelajaran pelatih, peserta didik, tujuan pembelajaran, sumber pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, kegiatan belajar mengajar, materi pembelajaran, alat, media dan evaluasi. Teknik kriteria evaluasi mengacu pada wiraga, wirasa, dan wirama. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dalam bentuk deskriptif dan pendekatan penelitian berupa Pendekatan Interdisiplin. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu 4P yang artinya person, place, process, dan paper. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dana dokumentasi. Data diperoleh dengan cara anlisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model Evaluasi Pembelajaran Tari Topeng Mina Tani Pada Sanggar Tari Pandu Kabupaten Pati.

Abstract

This research was analyzed with the aim of uncovering and knowing the transformation of the local culture of the Palembang Malay community, which has values in activities, art, or symbolic meanings that characterize the character of the local community which can be used as character enrichment in dance learning in tertiary institutions with a culture based on material content local Problem formulation; (1) what character values do Palembang Malay people have in the form of the Tanggai Dance art; (2) how is the transformation of culture-based character values in dance learning which is used as content material in Higher Education. This study uses a qualitative research method described and analyzed through an interdisciplinary approach to using a case study design in learning the Tanggai Dance at PGRI Palembang University, Department of Performing Arts Education. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and document study through an interactive analysis model. The results of the study show that the cultural values of the Malay people of Palembang originate from the habit of activities that give rise to art forms in the Tanggai Dance by holding the philosophy of rasan tuo and the motto of the meaning of sendok piyogo so that it is used as a reference for reflecting on character-based material content in learning Regional Dance at PGRI Palembang University which produces value in learning activities. The transformation process involves students, lecturers, and creators of the Tanggai Dance. Empirically the implementation of learning activities in schools and communities occurs in material content as a source of learning, while the Tanggai Dance functions as a work of art that has philosophy, history, and meaning in the form of dance so that Tanggai Dance is used as local culture-based material content to develop student character in Universities as prospective educators

Abstract

Dance, for instance, Topeng Ayu from Tanon Semarang is one of Javanese cultures which becomes living tradition. It is a cultural expression of Tanon people on the outskirts of Semarang. As a symbol and identity of society, this dance has become a cultural agenda to promote cultural attractions and education. Although there is a shift from traditional to modern, Tanon people has still stood on the existing ancestral traditions.    This phenomenon is interesting to be studied from its symbolic interaction, namely form of shift and its influence on culture, especially Topeng Ayu Dance. This research is descriptive qualitative and aims at revealing the meaning of research object action. It uses a sociological approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation and analyzed with an interactive analysis model. The findings of this study indicated that Topeng Ayu Dance is a folk art as well as product of the local culture of the Tanon people which has unique characteristic and symbol of local society. The term of Topeng Ayu initially means tata lempeng hayuning urip, philosophy of life that encourages people to live in peace, harmony, and tolerance in the midst of existing plurality. The symbols of this dance moves convey meanings namely respect, both when maju beksan, beksan and mundur beksan as a form of social interaction to create an open society.

Abstract

Bandrong ing Cilegon dance is a cultural heritage of Cilegon City which was created in 2012. Bandrong ing Cilegon dance was born from the transformation process of the bandrong pencak silat martial arts into bandrong ing Cilegon dance which is based on the changing factors. The main objective in this research is to find out the factors of change that bridge the process of transforming the movements of the Bandrong Pencak Silat martial arts into aesthetic movements in the Bandrong Ing Cilegon dance. The research method used is the imitative approach, ethnochoreology, and art education. The results this study that there are three core moves in pencak silat bandrong are then transformed into fifteen movements of the bandrong ing Cilegon dance. While factors that bridge the transformation process based on customs, society, and government, as well as inherent character values in the bandrong ing Cilegon dance, namely patriotic values.

Abstract

Yudha Asri Art Village is the birthplace of Bedug Kerok. The aim of this study is to present and present the tourist village development strategy in the Yudha Asri Art Village through the Bedug Kerok show. Observations, interviews, documentation, and library surveys are data compilation techniques in qualitative descriptive research methods used in this study to discuss in detail phenomena raised in the research. The results of this research describe the strategy of development of tourist villages in the village of art Yudha Asri Village Mander, Bandung District, Serang District, Banten using the SWOT analysis matrix (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Treath).
