Abstract

This development research aims to determine the feasibility of learning tools in the form of learning modules with a project based learning model to increase students' conceptual understanding of temperature and heat material. This research is based on the results of preliminary research which states that students still have a low understanding of concepts in the material and lack the latest innovations in learning tools. This research was carried out using the 4D model, but in this research This is only done until the development stage. The learning tools developed in this research are learning modules. The feasibility of the learning module was reviewed based on the validation results carried out by 4 expert validators, with the results of the analysis all producing scores in the very good category for all aspects of the learning module. Based on the results of the validator analysis, it can be concluded that in this research the learning module with the project based learning model developed by the researcher is suitable for use to increase students' understanding of physics concepts in temperature and heat material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the learning motivation of class X students of SMAN 1 Godean in physics. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of class X Mipa 3 at SMAN 1 Godean. The research instrument used was a questionnaire on students' motivation to learn physics. This type of research data is quantitative data. The technique used in this research is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that the learning motivation of students at SMAN 1 Godean in physics is classified as strong because of the five indicators the percentage above 60% is obtained where the results show a strong category. The results of the study also show that learning motivation is classified as moderate with a percentage of 67%.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan produk multimedia interaktif pada mata pelajaran Fisika materi Teori Kinetik Gas untuk siswa kelas XI. Penggunaan multimedia dalam pendidikan dapat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Minat belajar siswa distimulasi dengan penggunaan multimedia interaktif yakni media pembelajaran berbasis PowerPoint dengan simulasi menggunakan website PhET dan games interaktif Wordwall yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti. Metode penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Kelayakan multimedia interaktif materi Teori Kinetik Gas berbasis PowerPoint diperoleh dari hasil uji validasi pada 6 validator ahli dengan hasil rata-rata penilaian 86,41% dan tergolong kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kelayakan media yang telah dikembangkan maka diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa multimedia interaktif materi teori kinetik gas layak digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran siswa baik di sekolah maupun di luar sekolah secara mandiri. Kata Kunci: Multimedia interaktif, minat belajar, teori kinetik gas Abstract The purpose of this research is to develop interactive multimedia products on the subjects of Physics of Gas Kinetic Theory material for grade XI students. The use of multimedia in education can help students in increasing students' interest in learning. Student interest in learning is stimulated by the use of interactive multimedia, namely PowerPoint-based learning media with simulations using the PhET website and interactive Wordwall games developed by researchers. The development research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The feasibility of interactive multimedia material on PowerPoint-based Gas Kinetic Theory was obtained from the results of validation tests on 6 expert validators with an average result of 86.41% classified as very feasible. Based on the results of media feasibility research that has been developed, it was concluded that interactive multimedia gas kinetic theory material is suitable to be used as an alternative to student learning media both at school and outside school independently. Abstract

This study aims to describe the validity of the VBL learning device (Tracker) on GJB material through the PBL model. This research is research and development, but this article is only at the validity stage. The research instrument used is a validation sheet. The resulting learning tools are validated by one expert. The results of the analysis show that 1) the validity of the device in terms of the validation of the RPP (Learning Implementation Plan) obtains a score of 3.65 in the valid category, the validity of the LKPD (Student Worksheets) obtains a score of 3.81 in the valid category, and the validity of the THB (Learning Outcomes Test) obtains score 4 valid theory. It was concluded that the VBL learning tool (Tracker) on GJB material through the PBL model is in the valid category so that it can be used for the next development stage.

Abstract

This study aims as a preliminary study to determine which factor is the most significant in influencing students' interest in learning physics. The aspects used to determine students' interest in learning are interest or pleasure, attention, awareness, and concentration. The subject of this research was class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Godean, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire using a Likert scale where the questions were adjusted to the aspects of this study studied. The result shows that 28 students fell into the medium category, 3 students entered into the low category, and 5 students entered into the high category. In addition, the average aspect value in influencing student learning interest in the relatedness aspect was 68.75%, the attention aspect was 57.5%, the awareness aspect was 70.9%, and the concentration aspect was 67.5%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning interest of students at SMAN 1 Godean is included in the medium category where the most significant aspect affecting student learning interest is the awareness aspect of 70.9% and the least significant aspect affecting student learning interest is the attention of 57.6%. The implications of this preliminary study will be developed into data and considerations in the development of instructional media in physics subjects.

Abstract

Keterampilan proses sains merupakan salah satu kompetensi yang penting dimiliki peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan e-modul pembelajaran berbasis proyek terintegrasi dengan kearifan lokal pada materi fenomena dalam fluida statis untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan jenis 4D meliputi pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan sampai pada tahap pengembangan karena penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran berupa e-modul yang dikembangkan. Untuk mengetahui keyakan dari e-modul yang dikembangkan, penelitian ini menggunakan angket uji kelayakan yang terdiri dari tiga aspek penilaian dalam tiga belas indikator pernyataan. Responden angket uji kelayakan e-modul, yaitu satu dosen pendidikan fisika dan dua guru sekolah menengah atas yang mengampu mata pelajaran fisika. Hasil pengisian angket dianalisis dengan mengubah bentuk data menjadi bentuk persentase kemudian dikategorikan ke skala 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan e-modul masuk dalam kategori sangat layak pada dua aspek dan layak pada satu aspek. E-modul telah direvisi sesuai dengan saran dan komentar yang diberikan responden sehingga e-modul dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran fisika untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan belajar serta tingkat motivasi belajar mata pelajaran fisika pada peserta didik SMA. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Bantul dan SMA Negeri 2 Bantul. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 91 peserta didik Kelas XI MIPA. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik angket yang dibagikan melalui google form. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk angket kesulitan belajar dan motivasi belajar adalah deskriptif kuantitaif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) analisis kesulitan belajar Fisika memperoleh rata-rata persentase 69,54% dalam kategori tinggi; (2) tinjauan tingkat motivasi belajar Fisika memperoleh rata-rata persentase 67,73% pada kategori sedang. Dari hasil analisis dan tinjauan diperoleh bahwa tingkat kesulitan belajar Fisika pada peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Bantul dan SMA Negeri 2 Bantul masih tergolong tinggi. Kemudian tinjauan tingkat motivasi belajar Fisika SMA Negeri 1 Bantul dan SMA Negeri 2 Bantul masih tergolong sedang.

Abstract

Formative assessment is often neglected in learning. This study investigates the perception of madrasah diniyah teachers on the planned implementation of the recitation program as part of a formative evaluation in the form of feedback. Twenty madrasah diniyah teachers were asked to respond to a questionnaire that covered three aspects, namely planning, learning outcomes, and teacher support in the post-training. The findings show that teachers have an open view of the implementation of recitation and believe that it can provide significant benefits for student learning outcomes. This paper provides empirical insight into teacher perceptions and provides suggestions for expanding teacher understanding and competence in utilizing recitation programs as an integral element of recitation learning methods and evaluations.

Abstract

In the academic setting, teachers and school principals are often faced with the problem of identifying and developing strategies to strengthen the atmosphere of religious moderation. Unfortunately, resources for training and support are scarce. Our study presents the design and assessment of a religious moderation workshop utilizing the problem-based discussion method, supported by Ice Berg and U theory perspective analysis. This two-session workshop aims to bolster religious moderation among school personnel. During the initial session, attendees were presented with strategies to empower religious moderation and state defense. In the subsequent meeting, attendees were encouraged to engage in problem-solving exercises focused on acts and behaviors of intolerance. Not to mention, the educators and administrators have acquired content and pedagogical expertise regarding religious moderation and state defense, which can be applied in classroom and school settings. Additionally, participants expressed a positive belief that the training effectively exemplified the integration of character-building subject matter, religious moderation, state defense, and instructional strategies. As a result, the workshop for teachers and school principals was deemed successful and effective.

Abstract

Kemajuan sistem teknologi dan informasi yang pesat menimbulkan perkembangan signifikan dalam media pembelajaran. Penggunaan media pembelajaran pun saat ini masih jarang mengaitkan dengan kebudayaan lokal. Sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan atau menguji kelayakan media interactive learning management system (LMS) berbasis website yang bermuatan kearifan lokal budaya Bakar Batu pada topik perpindahan kalor. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan yang dimodifikasi menjadi 3-D terdiri dari define, design, dan develop terbatas yaitu pengujian kelayakan produk. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam tahap develop terbatas berupa instrumen angket kelayakan produk. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji kelayakan media oleh validator ahli diperoleh rata-rata 3,65 dengan kategori sangat layak dan oleh validator praktisi diperoleh rata-rata 3,8 dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan interactive learning management system (LMS) berbasis website bermuatan kearifan lokal budaya Bakar Batu pada topik perpindahan kalor layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.
