Abstract

This study examines the management of inclusive educational infrastructure in early childhood education for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at the EDUfa Autism Therapy Center. Using a qualitative case study design, the research investigates how physical learning environments are planned, utilized, and adapted to support children’s sensory, social, and learning needs. Data were collected through observations, semi-structured interviews with therapists, parents, and administrators, and document analysis, and were analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that EDUfa integrates educational and therapeutic functions through sensory-responsive classroom design, transition spaces, and life-skills-oriented facilities. Infrastructure management is characterized by adaptability, collaborative decision-making, and continuous evaluation involving multiple stakeholders. However, financial limitations and shortages of specialized personnel remain significant challenges. The study underscores that effective infrastructure management is central to inclusive, child-centered early childhood education and offers practical insights for institutions seeking to develop inclusive learning environments in resource-constrained contexts.

Abstract

This study examines school culture transformation as a foundation for sustainable teacher professional development by analyzing how collaborative leadership is associated with the development of collaborative cultural practices in Indonesian elementary schools. Using a mixed-methods sequential exploratory design, data were collected from 298 teachers across 51 public schools in Purwakarta District and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that collaborative leadership significantly predicts the development of a collaborative school culture, which in turn is positively related to teacher professional growth and performance. The model explained approximately 30% of the variance in collaborative culture and 38% in teacher performance, with cultural transformation acting as a partial mediator between leadership and teacher outcomes. These results suggest that improvements are associated with processes such as fostering trust and psychological safety, strengthening shared purpose and collective efficacy, and embedding collaborative and reflective routines within school practices. The study concludes that collaborative leadership serves as an important enabling factor in strengthening teacher development and supporting school culture transformation, while emphasizing that such transformation is context-dependent and shaped by broader organizational conditions within Indonesian schools.

Abstract

The increasing use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) in modern networks poses significant challenges for network monitoring and traffic management, particularly in accurately and efficiently distinguishing VPN and non-VPN traffic. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the SelectKBest feature selection method in improving VPN traffic classification performance using Random Forest and Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithms. The dataset used in this study is the CIC VPN-NonVPN Traffic Dataset provided by the Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity (CIC), which is widely recognized as a standard benchmark in network security research. Feature selection was performed using SelectKBest with the ANOVA (f_classif) scoring function, reducing the original feature set to 15 most relevant features. Experimental results show that the Random Forest classifier achieved a test accuracy of 84.94%, along with high F1-score and ROC-AUC values, and an average cross-validation accuracy of 95.18% with low variance. In contrast, the SVM model demonstrated relatively poor performance, with a test accuracy of approximately 62%, indicating its limitation in capturing the complex patterns of network traffic data. Further analysis using ROC curves, Precision–Recall curves, confusion matrices, and learning curves confirms that Random Forest exhibits superior generalization capability compared to SVM. These findings indicate that the combination of SelectKBest and Random Forest not only delivers high classification performance but also improves computational efficiency through feature dimensionality reduction, making it suitable for large-scale VPN traffic classification scenarios.

Abstract

This study examines the combined influence of instructional leadership and collegial supervision on teacher performance, addressing the need for a comprehensive approach that integrates managerial direction with peer-based collaboration. Using a quantitative survey of 300 teachers from 51 public elementary schools in Purwakarta Regency, Indonesia, data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling. The findings show that both instructional leadership and collegial supervision significantly and positively affect teacher performance, jointly explaining 18.1 percent of its variance. Collegial supervision was also found to mediate 34.6 percent of the effect of instructional leadership, highlighting its crucial bridging role. The integrated supervision model demonstrated consistent robustness across urban and rural school contexts. The study concludes that combining instructional leadership with collegial supervision creates a synergistic effect that enhances teacher performance more effectively than implementing either approach independently, offering valuable guidance for improving supervision practices in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study investigates how strategic leadership and a positive learning climate influence teachers' instructional performance in Indonesian primary schools, addressing ongoing challenges in improving teaching quality within resource-constrained contexts. Using a quantitative survey of 300 teachers from 51 public schools in Purwakarta Regency, West Java Province, the data were analyzed through Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings demonstrate that strategic leadership exerts significantly stronger influence (β=0.527, f²=0.453) on instructional performance compared to positive learning climate (β=0.295, f²=0.142), with strategic leadership producing 1.79 times greater effect. Together, both variables explain 49.4% of the variance in teachers' instructional performance, with strategic leadership accounting for the preponderance of this explanatory power. The study concludes that enhancing strategic leadership particularly through developing vision, coordinating programs, supervising instruction, monitoring progress, and ensuring accountability constitutes the primary lever for improving teaching effectiveness in resource-limited Indonesian schools. These evidence-based findings provide crucial guidance for policymakers and school leaders to strategically allocate limited professional development resources, prioritizing high-leverage leadership practices that maximize returns on investment. Implications address national policy reforms for principal preparation, district-level coaching programs, and school-level implementation of systematic supervisory practices.
