Abstract

This study aims to describe the moral philosophy contained in the Sundanese short story Buah Limus Murag ku Angin  by Karna Yudibrata using Immanuel Kant's moral philosophy theory. This research uses a qualitative approach with the document method and literature study. The document method is used to find data sources that will be used, while supporting literature and readings are collected using literature study techniques. The data source in this research is the short story Buah Limus Murag ku Angin  by Karna Yudibrata and the data is in the form of morality values contained in it. Then the data is analyzed and described using Immanuel Kant's moral philosophy theory, with the result that in this short story moral philosophy is observed which includes 1) morality towards god not to associate gods, in 2) morality towards the social environment includes morals of responsibility, respect for others, and good neighborliness, and in 3) morality towards oneself the results are related to morals to think positively, not indulge in excessive ego, control emotions, maintain self-esteem and authority, and wisdom in action.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the thinking of humanistic educationPaulo Freire and Ki Hadjar Dewantara and possible relevance in Islamiceducation through developed values. This research is a descriptiveanalytical literature research, using the method of documentation, andanalyzed critically-comparatively. This method is used to find out thethoughts of Paulo Freire and Ki Hadjar Dewantara's humanisticeducation, the differences and similarities of both, and how farhumanistic education has relevance to Islamic education. The results ofthis study indicate, there are some similarities and differences betweenthe thinking of humanistic education Paulo Freire and Ki HadjarDewantara. Some of the values that have been the pressure points of thethoughts of Paulo Freire and Ki Hadjar Dewantara that can be linked toIslamic education are: First, human values. Second, the value of equalityor equality. Third, all three want students to actively participate or takepart in the course of the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the conflict phenomenon and types, also its resolution efforts made by the main character in the novel Panganten by Deden Abdul Aziz. The descriptive-qualitative research uses Karen Horney's literary psychology approach (psychoanalysis theory), which emphasizes that literature is a reflection of society, to analyze the data. The data analysis technique of this research is interpretative descriptive analysis. The results show that there are interpersonal conflicts between characters in this novel and intrapsychic conflicts consisting of despised real self, real self, ideal self, and actual self. In addition, conflict resolution efforts that occur in this novel are approaching others, fighting others, and staying away from others. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan fenomena, jenis, dan upaya penyelesaian konflik yang dilakukan oleh karakter utama dalam novel Panganten karya Deden Abdul Aziz. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra Karen Horney yang menekankan bahwa sastra merupakan cerminan masyarakat. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teori psikoanalisis sosial Karen Horney ini menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra untuk menganalisis datanya. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis deskriptif interpretatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat konflik interpersonal antartokoh dalam novel dan konflik intrapsikis yang terdiri atas diri rendah (despised real self), diri nyata (real self), diri ideal (ideal self), dan diri aktual (actual self). Di samping itu, upaya penyelesaian konflik yang terjadi dalam novel ini adalah mendekati orang lain, melawan orang lain, dan menjauhi orang lain.

Abstract

Indonesia, dengan keberagaman suku dan budaya, menghadapi tantangan besar di era globalisasi yang mengancam identitas dan nilai-nilai tradisional, terutama di kalangan generasi muda. Pengaruh budaya asing dan perkembangan teknologi sering kali menyebabkan masyarakat meninggalkan kearifan lokal demi modernitas. Kearifan lokal Sunda, yang tercermin dalam konsep Silih Asih, Asah, dan Asuh, menawarkan panduan berharga untuk menjaga karakter dan identitas budaya bangsa. Silih Asih menekankan pentingnya kasih sayang dan empati dalam hubungan sosial, Silih Asah mendorong saling mencerdaskan dan berbagi pengetahuan, sementara Silih Asuh menekankan pentingnya bimbingan dalam kehidupan. Konsep-konsep ini tetap relevan di era 5.0. Implementasi kearifan local dalam pendidikan dapat membantu membentuk generasi muda yang tangguh, berempati, dan adaptif di tengah tantangan global. Dengan demikian, pendidikan karakter berbasis kearifan lokal seperti Silih Asih, Silih Asah, dan Silih Asuh sangat penting untuk memastikan bahwa generasi mendatang tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual, tetapi juga memiliki integritas moral dan emosional yang kuat. Melalui pendekatan ini, Indonesia dapat mempertahankan identitas budayanya sambil tetap beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman.

Abstract

This study discusses the use of traditional medicinal plants from an ethnopedagogical perspective, focusing on a case study in the Sundanese community. The research aims to understand the traditional healing practices involving the use of medicinal plants among the Sundanese people and how the ethnopedagogical approach can be used to uncover local knowledge and strengthen these cultural practices. The research methodology employed is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation study. The research sample was purposively selected, involving community leaders or traditional healing experts with extensive knowledge of medicinal plants and traditional healing practices in the Sundanese community. The results show that the use of traditional medicinal plants remains an integral part of the Sundanese healthcare system. These plants are used to treat various diseases and health disorders, serving as symbols of local wisdom and cultural identity. The ethnopedagogical approach facilitates the sustainable transfer of knowledge from generation to generation and raises awareness of the importance of preserving cultural heritage in the context of traditional medicine.

Abstract

The problem in this research is how morals are realized in the Wawacan Pranata Istri ka Carogé text. This research aims to describe the moral manifestations contained in the Wawacan Pranata Istri ka Carogé text. This research includes qualitative research with analytical descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were carried out using literature review techniques and data analysis using research instruments in the form of data cards. Technical data analysis is carried out in stages: a) identify data, b) analyze data, c) interpret data, and d) conclude. The results show that the moral values contained in the Wawacan Pranata Istri ka Carogé manuscript consist of 1) human morals towards God (9), including praising God, avoiding His prohibitions, and practicing the teachings of the prophet, 2) human morals towards themselves (16), including being honest, being able to control oneself, being responsible for oneself personal, and is simple, 3) human morals towards other humans (20), including having concern for others, respecting and appreciating husbands, 4) human morals towards time (1), namely respecting the time and not wasting time which is characterized by awareness of linear time, and 5) human morals in achieving inner and outer happiness (3), namely the satisfaction and happiness of Dewi Iyar in having Sultan Mahmud as her well-off husband. Apart from introducing culture, this research is intended so that the moral embodiment contained in the Wawacan Pranata Istri ka Carogé text can be used as a moral guideline in actual daily practice, especially for women living their domestic lives.

Abstract

Digital comic media is used as learning media that is tested in learning to read short stories. The aim is to test the effectiveness of digital comic media in learning to read short stories. The approach used is quantitative with experimental methods. The research data is the students' ability to read short stories. The research technique is test technique with instruments in the form of test questions. The results showed 1) the ability to read short stories of experimental class students after using digital comic media became 94.29 with very high criteria; 2) the ability to read short stories of control class students after learning without using digital comic media became 81.14 with high criteria; 3) the results of the t-test analysis showed the tcount value of 2.969, the ttable value of 1.691 and sig. (2tailed) is 0.004. The value of tcount> ttable, namely 2.969> 1.691 while the sig value (2tailed) is 0.004 < 0.05. So, it can be concluded that digital comic media effectively improves the ability of students in class XI TKJ SMKN Manonjaya in learning to read short stories.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui adanya perbedaan hasil kemampuan menulis cerita pendek siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Ciawi Tasikmalaya menggunakan model Quantum Writing dibantu media aplikasi Canva dengan pembelajaran yang tidak menggunakan model Quantum Writing dibantu media aplikasi Canva (2) Mengetahui pengaruh model Quantum Writing dibantu media aplikasi Canva pada kemampuan menulis cerita pendek siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Ciawi Tasikmalaya. Latar belakang adanya penelitian ini yaitu menurunnya motivasi siswa, keterbatasan ide atau materi pada cerita, serta kurangnya kemampuan dalam mengolah cerita. Hal ini menunjukkan perlu adanya eksplorasi dan implementasi pembelajaran inovatif yang bisa meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis cerita pendek. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Ciawi Kabupaten Tasikmalaya serta fokus pada kelas IX.9. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode kuasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan tes (pretest dan posttest). Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Hasil belajar siswa dalam kemampuan menulis cerita pendek sebelum menerapkan model Quantum Writing dibantu media aplikasi Canva yaitu rendah dengan rata-rata nilai 52,54; 2) Hasil belajar siswa pada kemampuan menulis cerita pendek setelah penerapan model Quantum Writing dibantu media aplikasi Canva hasilnya tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 85,79 3) Berdasar pada uji hipotesis, hasil yang diperoleh yaitu nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,00 < 0.05, sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dari hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran Quantum Writing dibantu media aplikasi Canva pada kemampuan menulis cerita pendek, dengan terbukti adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis cerita pendek sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Quantum Writing dibantu media aplikasi Canva.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji nilai etnopedagogi yang terdapat pada kesenian Bangreng di Kecamatan Cilawu, Kabupaten Garut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperloleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara langsung ke lapangan dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam proses pengumpulan data adalah kartu data untuk menginterpretsikan nilai-nilai etnopedagogik yang terdapat pada kesenian Bangreng.. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Cilawu, Kabupaten Garut, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa etnopedagogi Sunda muncul dalam kesenian Bangreng. Bagaimanapun, hal-hal yang ditemukan merupakan hasil interpretasi oleh peneliti. Etnopedagogi Sunda dalam seni bangreng diinterpretasikan berdasarkan rangkaiannya. Hal ini dikarenakan etnopedagogi Sunda dapat dilihat melalui aktivitas yang dimunculkan, ketika dijelaskan makna dari setiap rangkaiannya. Walaupun dalam seni bangreng mencakup tiga struktur yaitu rangkaian, alat, dan pelengkap, namun dari ketiga struktur tersebut rangkaian seni bangreng lebih tepat tersebut. Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of public attention and concern in preserving folklore passed down by their ancestors, especially Sundanese fairy tales. This research aims to describe the intrinsic elements which include: theme, plot, characterization, setting, message and point of view of the fairy tale. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data source for this research is a collection of famous Sundanese fairy tales from West Java. The results of the research show that there is the same major theme in which the fairy tales studied carry the theme of life. The plot of each fairy tale is divided into exposition, complication and resolution (advanced and mixed plot). Characterization includes characters, characters and the way the characters are conveyed. The point of view conveyed by the three fairy tales is the same, namely, the point of view of the third person or the author as narrator. Most fairy tale settings take place in a village, a royal palace and a forest. Every fairy tale contains a message that is conveyed either explicitly or implicitly. These three fairy tales are included in the classic fairy tale category.
