Abstract

ABSTRAK Perilaku bullying terus meningkat dengan berbagai bentuk mulai dari perundungan fisik, verbal, sosial maupun kekerasan siber. Efek yang dirasakan dapat mengakibatkan dampak jangka pendek  maupun jangka panjang yang harus segera dilakukan tindakan dalam mengatasi hal tersebut salah satunya intervensi berbasis sekolah menggunakan audiovisual yang menarik bagi siswa.  Pendidikan kesehatan melalui media edukasi audiovisual meningkatkan fungsi psikologis adaptif anak sekolah terhadap bullying di  SDIT Paripurna 3 Cimahi Selatan, Kota Cimahi. Metode yang digunakan adalah melalui penggunaan video dan cerita bergambar dengan audio yang menarik bagi para siswa sekolah dan diberikan secara langsung dan di waktu selanjutnya siswa diajak untuk melakukan diskusi terkait video tersebut. Hasil yang didapatkan 41 orang siswa mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dan berdasarkan hasil analisa terjadi peningkatan skor rata-rata fungsi adaptasi psikogis bullying dan pada beberapa aspek yaitu self-awareness (kesadaran diri), affiliate action (tindakan inisiasi) dan positive  expectations  about  oneself in  the  environment (harapan positif terhadap diri sendiri di lingkungan) tetapi terjadi penurunan skor self-management(manajemen diri). Kesimpulan, Pendidikan kesehatan efektif melalui penggunaan media promosi kesehatan dengan audivisual dapat meningkatkan adaptasi siswa. Rencana tindak lanjut adalah menerapkan kegiatan penggunaan media audiovisual secara berkala untuk semakin meningkatkan kemampuan adaptif para siswa dalam menghadapi bullying di sekolah dan mengurangi tindakan bystander yang diam dan tidak bertindak dan perlu dilakukan monitoring atau evaluasi secara periodik yang pelaksanaannya harus disepakati oleh petugas sekolah, orang tua, stake holder maupun siswa di sekolah. Saran. Perawat sekolah dapat menggunakan media kesehatan yang inovatif seperti penggunaan audiovisual dalam meningkatkan fungsi adaptasi psikologis bullying pada anak sekolah Kata Kunci: Adaptif Psikologis, Anak Sekolah, Audiovisual, Bullying, Edukasi    ABSTRACT Bullying behavior continues to increase in various forms, including physical, verbal, social, and cyber violence. The effects can lead to both short-term and long-term impacts, which require immediate attention. One effective approach is school-based intervention using audiovisual media that is engaging for students. Health education through audiovisual educational media helps improve the adaptive psychological function of schoolchildren in response to bullying, as seen at SDIT Paripurna 3 in Cimahi Selatan, Cimahi City. The method used involved videos and illustrated stories with audio designed to capture students' interest. These were presented directly to the students, followed by discussions about the videos. A total of 41 students participated in this community service activity, and the analysis revealed an improvement in the average score for psychological adaptation to bullying, particularly in aspects such as self-awareness, social engagement, and positive expectations about oneself in the environment. However, there was a decrease in the self-management score. In conclusion, health education through audiovisual media is an effective way to improve students' adaptation to bullying. The follow-up plan is to implement audiovisual media activities periodically to further enhance students' adaptive abilities in addressing bullying at school and reduce passive bystander behavior. Periodic monitoring or evaluation is necessary, with the implementation plan requiring the agreement of school officials, parents, stakeholders, and students. Suggestion: School nurses can utilize innovative health media, such as audiovisual tools, to improve the psychological adaptation functions of school children experiencing bullying. Keywords: Adaptive Psychological, Audiovisual, Bullying, Students, Education

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the knowledge of the Health Corps Volunteer Team of the Indonesian Education University about basic life support. Research design with the quantitative descriptive approach, sampling with a total sampling of 60 respondents. Results showed the respondents' knowledge into 2 categories: 46 participants (76.67%), enough 14 participants (23.33%) while there were no respondents. Knowledge is influenced by several factors; some are based on gender, age and the faculty of study. Knowledge of important basic living rocks is given to students in addition to health. Suggestions for increasing knowledge and training on basic life support with the aim of numbers helps to reduce mortality

Abstract

A sedentary lifestyle is a known risk factor for increased anxiety among university students, yet the role of physical activity knowledge in mitigating anxiety remains underexplored. This study aims to examine the relationship between knowledge of physical activity and anxiety levels in students with sedentary lifestyles. Using a quantitative correlational approach with a cross-sectional design, the study involved 80 students aged 19–25 years selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a sedentary behavior questionnaire, a validated and reliable physical activity knowledge questionnaire, and the DASS-21 scale to assess anxiety levels. Statistical analysis employed the Chi-Square test. The results revealed that although most students had moderate to high knowledge, over half still experienced moderate to extremely severe anxiety. A significant association was found between physical activity knowledge and anxiety levels (p = 0.000). These findings suggest that knowledge alone is insufficient to reduce anxiety without corresponding behavioral change. Therefore, integrated educational and physical activity programs are essential to promote mental well-being among university students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of aerobic range of motion exercises on cognitive function of elderly people with dementia-alzeimer. The method in this study is experimental with a pretest and posttest control group design, the researcher involved 28 elderly respondents who were in the senjarawi social home, the respondents in this study consisted of 19 female respondents and 9 male respondents. Measurements were taken using the mini mental state examination (MMSE). The results of this study showed a significant increase between pretest and posttest (p < 0.000), in this study showed that there was a significant difference, this change indicated an improvement in cognitive function in some respondents, characterized by an increase in the number of individuals in the mild category and a decrease in the moderate category after the intervention, this finding can be an early indication that the intervention provided has the potential to have a positive impact on the cognitive function of respondents. Conclusion exercise training (ROM) contributes significantly in improving the cognitive function of elderly with mild to moderate dementia, this affects time recall, short-term memory, comprehension and execution of verbal commands.

Abstract

This study was conducted against the backdrop of increasing sedentary behavior, which is negatively associated with mental health outcomes such as stress and anxiety, particularly among young adults facing academic pressures and psychological stressors. This research aimed to evaluate the effect of Tai Chi exercise on stress, anxiety, and depression levels among nursing students with a sedentary lifestyle. The study employed an experimental design with pretest-posttest assessments, involving 60 students randomly divided into intervention and control groups. The intervention group performed Tai Chi exercises for 40 minutes, three times a week, over 21 days, while the control group did not receive any intervention. Data were analyzed using independent t-tests. The results showed a significant decrease in anxiety and stress scores (p=0.001) following the intervention, whereas the effect on depression was not statistically significant (p=0.071). Overall, Tai Chi was effective in reducing anxiety and stress, although it did not significantly impact depression levels. In conclusion, Tai Chi can be used as a non-pharmacological method to improve mental health and reduce stress among students with a sedentary lifestyle.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between grit and mental toughness in pencak silat athletes. This study used a descriptive correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of 60 pencak silat athletes who were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through the grit questionnaire and sport mental toughness questionnaire (SMTQ). The results showed that the level of grit of athletes was in the moderate category as many as 17 athletes (28.3%) and high as many as 43 athletes (71.7%). The distribution of the level of grit, it is known that out of a total of 60 martial arts athletes who were the subject of the study, none of the athletes were in the low grit category (0%). A total of 17 athletes (28.3%) were in the medium grit category, while the majority of athletes, namely 43 people (71.7%), showed a high level of grit. The bivariate test results using the Chi-Square correlation test showed a relationship between grit and mental toughness (p=0.000). The conclusion of this study states that there is a significant relationship between grit and mental toughness in pencak silat athletes.

Abstract

Lansia wanita merupakan kelompok usia yang rentan mengalami depresi dibandingkan lansia pria. Hal ini disebabkan karena secara alamiah depresi yang lebih sering ditemukan pada perempuan dampak dari perubahan biologis terutama hormonal serta adanya penurunan fungsi fisik, kesepian, dan tekanan ekonomi. Salah satu metode non-farmakologis yang dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi depresi adalah latihan relaksasi autogenik, yaitu teknik sugesti diri yang membantu menciptakan ketenangan fisik dan mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas latihan relaksasi autogenik terhadap tingkat depresi pada lansia wanita di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Lanjut Usia Husnul Khatimah Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan desain quasi experimental dengan pendekatan one group pre-test post-test design dan melibatkan 31 lansia wanita yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Intervensi dilakukan selama enam minggu, dengan frekuensi satu kali per minggu selama 15–20 menit. Tingkat depresi diukur menggunakan Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS-15) sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata skor depresi menurun dari 8,68 menjadi 3,42 setelah intervensi. Uji Wilcoxon menghasilkan nilai p = < 0,001 yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa latihan relaksasi autogenik efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat depresi pada lansia wanita, serta dapat dijadikan intervensi yang sederhana, aman, dan mudah diterapkan secara mandiri maupun dengan pendampingan tenaga kesehatan.

Abstract

Anemia defisiensi besi (IDA) merupakan salah satu masalah gizi yang umum terjadi pada remaja putri dan dapat berdampak pada gangguan suasana hati, termasuk depresi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara anemia defisiensi besi dengan tingkat depresi pada remaja putri di SMPN 2 Cimenyan, Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan melibatkan 78 responden yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Status anemia ditentukan berdasarkan kadar hemoglobin <12 g/dL dan tingkat depresi diukur menggunakan kuesioner PHQ-9. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Fisher's Exact. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 51,3% responden mengalami anemia dan sebagian besar dari mereka mengalami depresi ringan (52,5%) dan sedang (30%). Tidak ada remaja anemia yang berada dalam kondisi normal. Selain itu, kelompok non-anemia juga menunjukkan adanya depresi, termasuk depresi sangat berat (2,6%). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara status anemia dan tingkat depresi (p = 0,030). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa anemia defisiensi besi dapat berkontribusi terhadap gangguan suasana hati pada remaja putri, sehingga penting dilakukan skrining gizi dan kesehatan mental secara rutin. Abstract

Fungsi kognitif pada dewasa muda sangat penting dalam menunjang aktivitas sehari-hari, namun sering terganggu oleh peningkatan kecemasan akibat tekanan hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh intensitas latihan fisik terhadap fungsi kognitif dan kecemasan pada dewasa muda. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic literature review dengan pencarian di basis data PubMed dan ScienceDirect pada artikel tahun 2020–2025. Kriteria inklusi meliputi penelitian kuantitatif yang membahas latihan fisik intensitas sedang, fungsi kognitif, serta kecemasan pada dewasa muda. Dari proses seleksi, diperoleh 10 artikel yang dianalisis secara mendalam. Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan bahwa latihan fisik, terutama dengan intensitas tinggi (HIIT), efektif meningkatkan fungsi kognitif seperti fleksibilitas kognitif dan kecepatan pemrosesan, serta menurunkan gejala kecemasan. Latihan aerobik intensitas sedang juga terbukti meningkatkan konektivitas otak dan suasana hati positif. Efek latihan lebih signifikan pada individu dengan gaya hidup sedentari. Mekanisme yang mendasari melibatkan peningkatan aliran darah otak, pelepasan neurotransmiter positif, dan neuroplastisitas di hipokampus. Kesimpulan: latihan fisik dengan intensitas sedang hingga tinggi merupakan intervensi non-farmakologis yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kesehatan kognitif dan emosional pada dewasa muda, dengan HIIT menawarkan manfaat yang lebih besar terutama bagi yang kurang aktif secara fisik. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pengembangan program kesehatan yang menargetkan peningkatan kualitas hidup dewasa muda melalui aktivitas fisik yang teratur dan terukur.

Abstract

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) activates muscle fibers by applying electrical currents via electrodes to targeted muscles and is widely used by competitive athletes. Despite its board application, the specific effects of EMS on swimmere remain underexplored. This study evaluates the effectiveness of EMS Butterfly in enhancing speed and performance among novice swimmers compared to conventional training. A single-group pre-post experimental design was conducted with 21 beginer swimmers (treatment group: 14; control group: 7). The treatment group received EMS for 15 minutes before regular training, twice weekly for once month. Speed was assessed by timing a 50-meter freestyle swim using a calibrated digital stopwatch. Statistical analysis included paired t-test and Shapiro-Wilk for normality. All participants were matched for ability and fitness and supervised by coaches and sport nurses. The treatment group demonstrated a mean time reduction of 14.0 seconds (95% CI: 3.63, 21.85), which was statistically significant (p<0.05), whereas the control group improved by 3.7 seconds (95% CI: -7.87, 15.29; p>0.05). The difference between groups was stattiscally significant. These findings indicate that EMS Butterfly is effective for improving novice swimmers' performance, supporting its integration into training programs. Further research is recommended to evaluate long-term effects across performance levels.
