Abstract

This study examines in depth the effectiveness of using story books as a biblioeducational medium in an effort to instill antibullying values ??in students. The background of the problem underlying this study is the rampant bullying behavior in the school environment, which highlights the urgency of instilling attitudes of tolerance, empathy, and respect for diversity from an early age to prevent it. The focus of the problem in the study is to measure the extent to which the effectiveness of biblioeducation, delivered through story books specifically designed with antibullying content, is able to provide a positive impact on students. The important steps of this study used an experimental method with a pretest-posttest design on grade XI students of SMK Negeri 16 Samarinda who were selected purposively. The crucial stages include administering a questionnaire to measure understanding of antibullying values ??before the intervention, followed by a session of reading relevant story books as a form of intervention, and ending with administering the same questionnaire after the intervention. The research findings show significant evidence that the use of story books as a biblioeducational medium has succeeded in substantially increasing students' understanding of the concept and importance of antibullying values. Furthermore, observations showed changes in student behavior towards a more positive direction in their daily social interactions, reflecting the internalization of the values ??taught. The main conclusion of this study is that storybook-based biblioeducational media is an effective and interesting intervention alternative to instill essential moral values ??and proactively prevent bullying behavior in the school environment, thereby creating a safer and more supportive learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Children with Special Needs are children with disabilities in the development of life due to disruption (mental, intellectual, emotional, social, physical) in the social-social, career, and academic fields, so they need special services and are different from children in general. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to increase the self-acceptance of educators towards Children with Special Needs. This study uses an experimental approach to the design of one group pretest-posttest. The study was conducted on teachers who are members of the HIMPAUDI Sleman District, who were randomly selected and obtained as many as 27 teachers. Data analysis was performed using the T-Test technique. Based on the results of the study, it appears that the self-acceptance of educators towards Children with Special Needs before and after the training on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) increases, but the increase is less significant. Conclusion The Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)  program is less effective in improving the self-acceptance of educators towards Children with Special Needs. Based on these results, it needs to be followed up with direct assistance or assistance in schools for educators who systematically help Children with Special Needs.

Abstract

Based on the reality in the field, some students have difficulty making career plans that are in line with their stage of professional growth. This is the background of this research. Psychoeducation is the practice of providing psychological knowledge or education to individuals or groups to increase their self-efficacy in career planning. Adolescent career planning involves selecting the type of additional education they are interested in because it is considered a component of their career development. Furthermore, many vocational high school graduates still have difficulty choosing jobs and developing in their fields of specialization. Because their skills do not match the needs of business, industry, or entrepreneurship, vocational high school graduates continue to face challenges in finding meaningful work and starting their own businesses. And what are the implications for the philosophy of education? This study uses a quantitative descriptive research design. The tools used are a survey of self-efficacy and career planning for vocational high school students. Based on the research findings, the students' overall self-efficacy profile is in the high category, while their career planning profile is in the competent group. In addition, self-efficacy has an important role in students' career planning. Guidance and counseling teachers are advised to develop a unique self-efficacy psychoeducational program to enhance students' career planning skills by considering the elements included in this program that are in line with the educational philosophy.
