Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komunikasi pelayanan prima pada Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LP2M) UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan komunikasi dan pelayanan prima dilakukan LP2M belum berjalan dengan baik. Perlu perbaikan-perbaikan dalam sarana prasarana dan perlu penambahan pegawai sumber daya manusia (SDM) dan perlunya komunikasi antar sesama pegawai untuk keseragaman informasi.

Abstract

Tujuan utama kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pelatihan ergo-entrepreneurship dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup karyawan Pempek Atok Simeru Palembang dengan mengurangi keluhan muskuloskeletal, kelelahan, dan beban kerja, serta meningkatkan sikap kewirausahaan mereka. Studi ini menggunakan rancangan kelompok pre- dan post-tes (treatment by subjects design) dan melibatkan tiga puluh sampel yang dipilih secara acak bertingkat. Variabel bebasnya adalah pelaksanaan hasil pelatihan ergo-entrepreneurship, yang merupakan pelatihan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Variabel tergantungnya adalah (1) kualitas hidup, yang diukur dengan indikator kelelahan, keluhan muskuloskeletal, dan beban kerja; dan (2) sikap kewirausahaan karyawan Pempek Atok Simeru Palembang.

Abstract

Komunikasi dalam proses belajar mengajar, tidak selalu berjalan mulus, ada proses yang membuat para guru harus sabar dengan tingkah laku murid, hal tersebut bisa dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti karakter dari guru dan murid itu sendiri, kurang terbukanya murid terhadap gurunya, tidak adanya empati guru kepada murid yang menghadapi masalah, selalu berfikir negatif kepada gurunya, sehingga dari hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan kerenggangan dalam komunikasi antara guru dan murid. Jika hal tersebut sering terjadi, maka proses komunikasi ini tidak sesuai dengan  prinsip dari teori Humanistik yang dibawakan oleh Joseph A. Davito tentang empat indikator yang terkait teori Humanistiknya yaitu, Keterbukaan, Empati, Sikap Mendukung, dan Sikap Positif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis konsep teori Humanistik Joseph A. Devito dengan kesesuaian dari konsep kitab Ta’lim Muta’allim dan menganalisis pola komunikasi guru dengan murid dalam kitab Ta’lim Muta’allim  di Pondok Pesantren Qodratullah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan lokasi penelitian di Pondok Pesantren Qodratullah Langkan, data ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode Observasi, Wawancara, Dokumentasi, dan Analisis Data. Responden dalam penilitian ini sebanyak 4 orang guru yang mengajar kitab Ta'lim Muta'allim, dan 20 orang murid yang sudah mempelajari kitab Ta'lim Muta'allim, yang terdiri dari 10 murid dari MTs Putra dan Putri, dan 10 Murid dari MA Putra dan Putri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pola komunikasi interpersonal antara guru dan murid yang ada dalam kitab Ta’lim Muta’alim yang ada di bab IV sejalan dengan konsep humanistik yang digagas oleh Devito, dan sesuai dengan penerapan yang ada di Pondok Pesantren Qodratullah, yang mana dalam komunikasi interpersonal tersebut mengandung lima unsur yang telah ditekankan oleh Devito, yaitu: Keterbukaan, empati, sifat mendukung, sikap positif, dan kesetaraan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of marketing communication management for the MyValue application to build customer relations for Hotel Santika Radial Palembang. Done to maintain a more advanced competitiveness and the company tries to pay attention to relationships with customers. Efforts to build relationships with prospective customers and customers and companies are analyzed using marketing communication studies. The research method uses qualitative research methods. Sources of data using observation data and in-depth interviews with research informants related to research. The results of research on marketing communication management for the MyValue application to build hotel customer relations are carried out by optimizing marketing communications by implementing a promotional mix including advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations and direct marketing to achieve marketing success. And the implementation of the implementation of marketing communications indirectly forms a brand image that is attached to society.

Abstract

Competition in the television industry allows a company to take long steps forward in a society saturated with the current situation. Various studies show that ANTV's strategy to buy many programs in Indian drama series in Indonesia has been exceeded; the India program screening strategy at ANTV itself is a form of adaptation of ANTV's strategy in dealing with the convergence and growth of the industry, especially the internet. This study uses qualitative methods with media political-economic theory specific to commodifying content. The primary data was obtained through observation, and secondary data were obtained through interviews. As a result, the commodification of the content carried out by ANTV TV stations was by displaying Indian program content that was very much in percentage so that it indoctrinated the audience to overindulge India & Türkiye culture from films, actresses, arts and culture finally eroded local culture due to the many hours of India &Türkiye import program broadcast on ANTV.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the experiences of women wearing the hijab in facing gender sexism on the TikTok platform, especially related to Muslim fashion trends. Through a digital ethnographic approach, this research analyzes the content, comments, and social interactions of ten active participants in the TikTok hijab fashion community who have experienced or witnessed negative comments. The research results show that the TikTok platform, with its algorithm that personalizes content, helps reinforce gender bias through repeated exposure to negative comments and stereotypes. These findings also reveal a complex dynamic in which criticism of modern hijab fashion often comes from fellow women, but it is necessary to examine further the social and cultural factors that underlie this phenomenon. This research highlights the importance of understanding how social media platforms can shape the perceptions and experiences of women wearing the hijab and calls for efforts to build more inclusive and supportive online communities.

Abstract

This research discusses efforts to optimize human resources (HR) in the construction industry at PT. Pusadega Superior. Effective HR management is crucial for increasing productivity and reducing risks in construction projects. The main problem identified is how HR optimization strategies influence project performance and job satisfaction. This study offers a new perspective by analyzing a comprehensive approach to HR management in the construction sector, an area that has not been widely explored in previous research. The research employs a qualitative case study method, utilizing qualitative analysis through interviews with project managers and staff, as well as document review related to HR management at PT. Pusadega Superior. The findings reveal that despite having good HR policies, their implementation is often inconsistent, which negatively impacts project performance. The main influencing factors are the quality of training and internal communication. The conclusion of this research is that increasing consistency in the implementation of HR policies and improving training and communication can enhance project performance and job satisfaction. The implication is that PT. Pusadega Superior must invest in better training programs and more effective communication strategies. The key message is that effective HR optimization is critical to the success of construction projects and worker satisfaction.

Abstract

As a fast, economical and efficient transportation alternative, air transportation is the only alternative for inter-island and inter-regional transportation. Air transportation itself has Air Traffic or flight traffic which must be obeyed by all vehicles on the ground and in the air such as commercial airplanes, helicopters and the like. This research aims to investigate the role of communication in managing the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) workload in maintaining flight traffic safety at AirNav Indonesia Palembang Branch. Increasingly dense and complex air traffic requires effective coordination and communication between ATC and aircraft pilots to prevent incidents and accidents. The research method uses a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews with ATC, observations at the air traffic control center, and analysis of related documents. The results of this research reveal that good communication between ATC and pilots is very important in maintaining flight safety. ATCs must manage their workload carefully, including managing communications as diverse as voice communications, text messages, and radar data. Additionally, factors such as time pressure, fatigue, and stress also influence ATC communications. Workload management and good training to improve ATC communication capabilities are necessary. This study also provides recommendations for developing policies and best practices in optimizing ATC communications in maintaining flight safety at AirNav Indonesia Palembang Branch.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and disseminate marketing communication strategies implemented by the small business Kerupuk Rokyati in Ulak Kerbau Baru Village, Ogan Ilir. In an era of increasingly fierce competition, marketing communications plays an important role in strengthening the market and increasing product sales position. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that the marketing communication strategy implemented by Kerupuk Rokyati is still conventional. Therefore, this research recommends the use of social media and digital platforms as a more modern marketing communications strategy to expand market reach and increase brand awareness.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam program praktek magang ini dengan menggunakan Metode Pengabdian Masyarakat bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses kegiatan Optimalisasi Peran Public Relations di Balai Pengelola Kereta Api Ringan Sumatera Selatan (LRT Sumsel) untuk mengetahui peran Public Relations dalam membangun Citra. Hasil dari kegiatan program Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL) ini adalah membawa mahasiswa pada sebuah pengalaman nyata yang di lakukan dengan terjun langsung kedalam lapangan untuk menjalankan pekerjaan atau memecahkan suatu permasalahan di dalam instansi secara langsung. Laporan ini juga menunjukan Strategi Public Relations dalam mengelola media serta situs Website yang mampu mengoptimalkan penyebaran informasi kepada Masyarakat Palembang.
