Abstract

When someone gets information in the form of review valence and they feel that the review influences them, review helpfulness can be formed, and the brand image that product X already has will influence trust in business actors, which can ultimately lead to purchase intention. The aim of this reasearch is to analyze the influence of review valence on review helpfulness, review valence on purchase intention X herbal skincare products, review helpfulness on purchase intention X herbal skincare products, and the influence of brand image in moderating the indirect relationship between review valence and purchase intention through review helpfulness. The research was carried out via Instagram, TikTok and X (Twitter) social media accounts from November to December 2023. The total sample was 60 students who carried out by non-probability sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data was collected by distributing online questionnaires, then analyzed using SEM-PLS with SmartPLS software. The research results show that review valence has a positive and significant effect on review helpfulness, review valence has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, review helpfulness has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, and high brand image has a positive but not significant effect, thereby reducing the strength of the relationship between review valence on purchase intention through review helpfulness. The R-Square value shows 0.20, which means that the review valence and review helpfulness variables influence consumer purchase intention by 20% and the rest through other non-model variables.

Abstract

Keberhasilan dalam usahatani tidak dapat terlepas dari penerapan manajemen rantai pasok yang baik. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan mekanisme manajemen rantai pasok menganalisis tingkat pencapaian kinerja rantai pasok minyak daun cengkeh berdasarkan indikator kinerja Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR). Penelitian ini menggunakan informan dari pengelola salah satu UMKM penyulingaan minyak daun cengkeh di Desa Kaliuling, Kecamatan Tempursari, Kabupaten Lumajang, Jawa Timur. Sistem manajemen rantai pasok pada produk minyak daun cengkeh melibatkan beberapa pelaku, yang dimulai dari pemasok (petani dan pengepul) daun cengkeh, UMKM penyulingan minyak daun cengkeh – UMKM X (sebagai produsen), dan pengepul minyak daun cengkeh (sebagai konsumen). Aktivitas yang terjadi antar pelaku rantai pasok tersebut menciptakan sebuah koordinasi dan proses mekanisme yang terdiri dari tiga aliran, yaitu aliran informasi, material, dan finansial. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran dan analisis yang dilakukan, masing-masing atribut kinerja SCOR menunjukkan capaian posisi kinerja yang berbeda, yaitu berada pada kelas superior dan gap-parity.

Abstract

This reserach aims to analyze the factors influencing the younger generation's perception of agriculture based on accepted cognitive processes and the influence of the perception factors on the interest of the younger generation to work in the agricultural sector. The research survey was conducted on new students from the faculty of agriculture after they attended student orientation. While the analysis used is descriptive analysis, factor analysis, and logistic regression analysis, which have previously been tested for the validity and reliability of research data. The research finding is that there are three main factors in the perception of the younger generation towards agriculture, namely individual perceptions, economic perceptions, and socio-cultural perceptions. In the meantime, only the economic perception factor has a big effect on young people's desire to work in agriculture.

Abstract

One of the problems that is often experienced by rice farmers is the problem of price fluctuations and selling prices that are below the HPP (Government Purchasing Price). Therefore, to overcome this problem, special efforts are needed to improve the welfare of farmers by involving farmer institutions in the form of farmer group associations (gapoktan). This study aims to analyze the effect of the combined performance of farmer groups seen from individual aspects, leadership, ease of business facilities, and implementation aspects on the success of the rice production business program run by the Dewi Sri Farmer Group Association. This study used a quantitative approach with a total sample of 65 respondents taken purposively. The data analysis method used to determine the effect of farmer group performance on the success of the business program is Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis using WarpPLS Version 7.0 software as an analysis tool. The results showed that the variables of leadership, ease of doing business, and implementation aspects had a positive and significant effect on the success of the rice production business program, while the individual aspect variables had no significant effect.
