Abstract

Abstract

This study explores the impact of work-life balance and organizational culture on employee engagement within an organization. As companies navigate the global market, human resources play a critical role in determining performance and competitive advantage. Organizational culture serves as a guiding framework that shapes employee behavior, while work-life balance directly influences employee well-being and productivity. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology, the study synthesizes findings from peer-reviewed publications indexed in Sinta, focusing on the relationships between these variables. The results indicate that both work-life balance and organizational culture significantly contribute to higher levels of employee engagement, enhancing motivation, commitment, and organizational performance. Employees in environments that prioritize work-life balance and foster open, participatory cultures tend to be more productive and loyal, reducing turnover rates. This research highlights the importance of creating policies that support a healthy work-life balance and positive work culture to improve employee engagement. Future research could examine these variables longitudinally, consider industry-specific dynamics, and incorporate qualitative methods for deeper insights.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of hybrid work system implementation on employee performance within the framework of the digital era. The acceleration of technological advancements and digital transformation has fundamentally altered the landscape of the workplace, including the domain of human resource management. The hybrid work model, which integrates remote working and on-site office attendance, is widely regarded as a strategic response to the growing demand for flexibility and efficiency in modern organizational settings. A review of numerous empirical studies indicates that the implementation of such a system yields positive outcomes for employee performance, notably through increased temporal and spatial flexibility, enhanced operational efficiency, improved work-life balance, and greater work engagement. Furthermore, hybrid arrangements contribute to higher levels of employee productivity and organizational loyalty by enabling more autonomous work structuring. The successful application of hybrid work systems, however, is highly dependent on the organization’s level of readiness, which includes the availability of robust digital infrastructure, the presence of clear and consistent internal policies, and the practice of communicative and collaborative leadership. However, gaps still remain, particularly in ensuring equal access to digital resources and maintaining consistent employee engagement across remote and on-site teams. Despite its advantages, several implementation challenges persist, such as limited access to adequate support facilities, barriers in team communication, and difficulties in self-managed time allocation. Consequently, the effective deployment of hybrid work systems necessitates a comprehensive and strategic approach, accompanied by strong institutional support across all levels, in order to achieve optimal organizational outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of technical competence on employee performance. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, which refers to the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines. In the midst of the dynamics of the ever-evolving world of work, technical competence is one of the key factors in supporting increased productivity and work effectiveness. With reference to the PRISMA guidelines, a total of 21 articles published between 2020 and 2025 were systematically reviewed. The articles come from a variety of sectors, including government, private, and education. The results of the study show that technical competence consistently has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Employees with adequate technical skills tend to complete tasks faster, produce quality output, and are able to adapt to technological changes. In addition, some studies show that the influence of technical competence can be amplified by other factors such as motivation, leadership, and work discipline. These findings support the importance of developing technical competencies as an integral part of human resource management strategies. This research provides theoretical contributions in strengthening competency-based management models, as well as practical implications for organizations in designing employee performance training and evaluation.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has brought significant transformation to the global healthcare system, including in Indonesia. This study aims to systematically examine the implementation and impact of AI on the performance of medical personnel in Indonesia through a systematic literature review approach. The research method follows the PRISMA protocol by analyzing scientific publications from 2019 to 2024 obtained from the Google Scholar, PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Indonesian Medical Journal databases. The results indicate that the application of AI has contributed positively to improving diagnostic accuracy (87.5%), healthcare service efficiency (82.3%), and clinical decision-making quality (85.2%). Nevertheless, this study also highlights significant challenges in the implementation of AI, such as limited digital infrastructure (65.4%), inadequate competence among health human resources (58.7%), concerns over data privacy and security, and the lack of comprehensive regulatory frameworks (52.3%), all of which hinder optimal integration. This study provides a scientific foundation for policymakers to develop regulations that support AI adaptation in healthcare while safeguarding ethical standards and patient safety. Additionally, the research offers practical insights for future studies to focus on overcoming technical, educational, and legal barriers, ensuring that AI integration advances equitable and sustainable healthcare services in Indonesia.
