Abstract

Gangguan jiwa adalah suatu penyimpangan proses pikir, alam perasaan, dan prilaku seseorang, yang disebabkan oleh gangguan pada fungsi sosial, psikologis, genetik, fisik/kimiawi, atau biologis. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan dalam merawat orang dengan gangguan jiwa adalah pemberian psikofarmaka dan penanganan secara psikologis yang dilakukan oleh tenaga kesehatan, keluarga, dan masyarakat. Saat ini masih terdapat stigma psikiatri negatif di masyarakat, oleh karena itu hal yang harus dibenahi adalah persepsi yang salah mengenai gangguan jiwa tersebut. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan dengan membentuk kader kesehatan jiwa yang secara sukarela mau berpartisipasi dalam manajemen kasus gangguan jiwa yang ada di masyarakat. Kader merupakan bentuk pemberdayaan masyarakat sehingga masyarakat mulai secara swadaya melakukan pencegahan terkait masalah kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan kader kesehatan jiwa terhadap persepsi kader dalam merawat orang dengan gangguan jiwa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis quasy experiment, dan merupakan studi komparatif, dengan design penelitian pre post-test design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 27 orang didapat dari teknik sampling purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji statistik didapatkan nilai z = -4,568, dengan p value = 0,000, (p<α (0,05)), dengan demikian didapat hasil pelatihan kader kesehatan jiwa berpengaruh terhadap persepsi kader dalam merawat orang dengan gangguan jiwa. Kata kunci: Pelatihan kader, Persepsi kader, Merawat Orang Dengan Gangguan Jiwa. ANALYZE THE INFLUENCE OF CADRE FOR MENTAL ILLNESS TRAINING ON CADRE PERCEPTION FOR CARING PEOPLE WITH MENTAL ILLNESS ABSTRACTMental illness is an abnormality of thinking, emotion, and behavior process which is caused by social, psychological, genetics, phisical, or biological function disorders. Drug-induced could change in mood, thinking, and behavior process. Psychological treatments are kind of methods which can be used to treat someone who has experienced mental illness. It can be done by health worker, family, and society.  Negative psychyatry stigma still goes wide nowadays and this wrong perception related to mental illness should be cleared. One way that we can do is to create cadre for mental illness. The cadre is voluntarily participated for managing mental illness cases on society. Cadre is one of society empowerments so that expected the society begin to prevent health problems by self-supporting. This study aims to analyze the influence of cadre for mental illness training on cadre perception for caring people with mental illness. This study was a comparative study with quantitative approach. This study was quasi experiment with pre and post test design. There were 27 samples that collected by porposive sampling technique. The results of this study based on statistic test were obtained value of z = -4,568, with p value = 0,000, (p<α (0,05)). Based on the above findings, it can be concluded that there are significant impact of cadre mental illness training on cadre perception for caring. Keywords:  Cadre training, Cadre perception, Mental illness care.

Abstract

Sebanyak 70% gangguan jiwa di Indonesia merupakan skizofrenia dimana memiliki gejala perilaku kekerasan. RSMM Bogor merupakan rumah sakit jiwa yang sudah menerapkan MPKP pada tiap ruang rawatnya. Klien yang dirawat sudah mendapatkan terapi keperawatan dan juga terapi secara medis. Terapi keperawatan yang diberikan berupa terapi generalis dan terapi spesialis. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) merupakan suatu terapi baru yang menggunakan prinsip penerimaan terhadap suatu masalah dan komitmen untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ACT terhadap gejala dan kemampuan klien dengan resiko perilaku kekerasan yang dirawat diRumah Sakit Dr. H. Marzoeki Mahdi Bogor. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperiment dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penurunan gejala perilaku kekerasan secara bermakna pada kelompok yang mendapatkan terapi ACT dibandingkan dengan kelompok yang tidak mendapatkan terapi ACT (p value < 0,05). Kemampuan ACT memiliki hubungan terhadap gejala perilaku kekerasan dimana didapatkan bila kemampuan ACT meningkat maka terjadi penurunan gejala perilaku kekerasan. ACT direkomendasikan untuk dikembangkan sebagai terapi keperawatan jiwa yang dapat diberikan pada klien resiko perilaku kekerasan.

Abstract

The elderly are vulnerable to hypertension due to the accumulation of unhealthy lifestyles for a long time and can be exacerbated by the stress due to the inability to adapt to the decline in physical conditions, changes in roles and social relations, economic ability, degenerative diseases and treatment in the long term. Risk factors for hypertension can caused by stress. Stress management can be done with a combination of creative arts therapy that is singing, drawing, and storytelling which has a relaxing effect. This study aims to determine the effect of creative arts therapy on stress levels and blood pressure of the elderly with hypertension in Kesiman Kertalangu Village, East Denpasar City, Bali, Indonesia. This research was a quasy experiment with pre-test and post-test design. Samples used were 63 elderly with hypertension who experience mild and moderate stress using simple random sampling technique divided into three groups of treatment with the amount 21 elderly of each groups. Stres level of of hypertension were evaluated using The Stress Assessment Questionnaire and blood pressure measurement using manometer. The main results of this study indicated that creative art therapy can reduce stress of the elderly significantly with p value 0.000<0.05. An average of blood pressure in creative art therapy has decreased. Wilcoxon test results showed the p value of blood pressure (sistole;diastole) for singing (0.002;0.014), storytelling (0.009;0.008) and drawing (0.016;0.011) <0.05 which means that there is an effect of those therapy on elderly blood pressure. The results of the Ancova analysis showed no difference in blood pressure results after each intervention was given to the elderly (p value 0.244>0.05 for systole dan p value 0.738>0.05 for diastole). That means that each intervention has a similar effect on reducing blood pressure. Creative arts therapy provides a relaxing effect while performing art activities so that feeling calms down and stimulates the healing process. Further research with a larger population needs to be done to increase public awareness of the benefits of creative art therapy to reduce stress and blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension. Abstract

THE CORRELATION BETWEEN FULFILLMENT OF SPIRITUAL NEEDS AND MENTAL STATUS LEVEL IN PEOPLE WITH PSYCHIATRIC DISORDER (ODGJ) ABSTRACTThe fulfillment of spiritual needs was required by the people with Psychiatric Diorder (ODGJ), considering the spiritual needs are very important in the change of mental status. This study was aimed to finding out the correlation between Fulfillment of Spiritual Needs and Mental Status Level in people  with Psychiatric Disorder (ODGJ) at Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas II Denpasar Timur. This was a quantitative study that applies cross -sectional method. The sample for this study is 69 respondents by using purposive sampling technique. The data are analyzed by using Spearman-Rho. The instruments which are used for collecting data of this study are a questionnaire about spiritual fulfillment and Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) questionnaires.The results showed the number of loading spiritual needs either as much as 46 respondents or 66.7%. Meanwhile, most of the respondet has a high level of mental status that is 37 respondents or 53.6%. The result of the analysis shows that there is a correlation between fulfillment of spiritual needs and Mental Status Level on ODGJ with p value 0.000 with positive correlation 0,863 and positive direction. Based on the findings above, it is advisable to the nurse to make programs related to the spiritual such as routine joint prayer and ODGJ peguyuban which is spiritual meaning.

Abstract

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FAMILY SUPPORT AND THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF PEOPLE WITH MENTAL DISORDERS  ABSTRACTMental disorder is one of the most serious health problems. Families have to spend more time to provide care to People with Mental Disorders at home. People with Mental Disorders (ODGJ) usually have problems with quality of life. The study aimed to determine the relationship between family support and the quality of life of People with Mental Disorders / ODGJ. This research is a quantitative research by using cross-sectional design with correlative analytic method. The sample of the research were 39 people selected by non probability sampling technique of purposive sampling. Data collection of respondent characteristics was conducted by using questionnaire of respondent characteristics. The level of family support was assessed by using family support questionnaires proposed by Friedman and the quality of life of the respondents was measured using the SQLS questionnaires. The findings showed that good and moderate family supports have the same percentage of 35.9%, while the results of the quality of life score showed that the majority of respondents had good quality of life (82.1%). Based on the analysis by using Spearman-Rank test, there is a significant correlation between family support and quality of life of respondents with p = 0,000 (p <0,05) and strong correlation value of 0.618 and positive correlation direction which means if family support increases then the quality of life of respondents will increase and vice versa. The future researchers are expected to exercise control over other factors that may affect the quality of life of People with Mental Disorders (ODGJ).

Abstract

Perilaku bullying adalah perilaku kekerasan yang menyalahgunakan kekuasaan berlangsung terus menerus kepada seseorang yang dirasa lemah dan tidak berdaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat gambaran perilaku dan karakteristik perilaku bullying di kota Denpasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Partisipan berasal dari SMP negeri dan swasta yang berada di Kota Denpasar yang dipilih secara acak dari 34 SMP negeri dan 53 SMP swasta. Intrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner perilaku bullying. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS versi 26 dan menggunakan distribusi frekuensi. Sebanyak 13.1% remaja menjadi pelaku bullying, 86.9% menjadi korban bullying. Bentuk perilaku bullying yang dialami yaitu bullying verbal (67.3%), bullying fisik (13.1%) dan bullying sosial (19.6%), remaja memotivasi diri untuk lebih baik (25%) namun sisanya merasa tidak nyaman dan timbul perasaan negatif pada diri. Sebanyak 65.2% menyatakan mencari bantuan dan 53.3% menyatakan bercerita terkait perilaku bullying yang dialami sedangkan sisanya memilih menyimpan sendiri. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kejadian perilaku bullying pada remaja cukup tinggi sedangkan remaja masih belum sepenuhnya mampu mencari bantuan dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang dialaminya.

Abstract

Masa remaja terjadi perubahan yang dapat menimbulkan masalah jika tidak adanya koping yang adaptif yang dimiliki remaja. Hal ini tentunya perlu diikuti dengan dukungan sistem yang baik pada remaja sehingga remaja mampu tetap memiliki kesehatan jiwa yang baik dan mampu menggunakan koping yang sesuai dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang terjadi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitiandeskriptif korelatif dengan desaincross-sectional untuk mengetahui sejauh mana hubungan dukungan sosial terhadap kesehatan jiwa remaja melalui kesejahteraan emosional, psikologis dan sosial. Sampel sebanyak 135 siswa kelas 7 dan 8 yang berada di SMP swasta dan negeri di Kota Denpasar dan Kabupaten Gianyar yang dipilih melalui teknik stratified random sampling. Responden mengisi kuesioner tentang dukungan sosial (CASSS) dan kesehatan jiwa (MHC-SF). Hasil yang didapatkan diolah secara statistik menggunakan uji chi square. Didapatkan kesejahteraan psikologi remaja sebagian besar dipengaruhi oleh dukungan sosial teman sekelas dan sekolah, sedangkan kesejahteraan sosial remaja dipengaruhi oleh dukungan sosial orang tua, guru, teman sekelas dan sekolah (p<0.005). Adapun faktor yang paling berkontribusi dalam kesehatan jiwa remaja adalah dukungan sosial orang tua (OR : 5,2; p<0.005).Diperlukan peran serta antara orangtua, guru, teman sebaya dalam membantu remaja memahami perubahan yang terjadi pada dirinya sehingga mampu menggunakan koping adaptif ketika masalah terjadi. Kata kunci :Kesehatan jiwa, remaja, dukungan sosial DESCRIPTION OF SOCIAL SUPPORT TOWARD EMOTIONAL, PSYCHOLOGY AND SOCIAL WELLBEINGAMONG ADOLESCENT’S MENTAL HEALTH ABSTRACT Adolescents with low adaptive coping are potentially having difficulties facing changes in teenage years. These adolescents are needed solid support systems to maintain mental health well-being during their difficult time. The supports help them using adaptive coping properly to deal with the problems. This study is a descriptive study using cross sectional design aimed to explore social support system effect on mental health status on emotional, psychological and social well-being. There were 135 students of grade 7th and 8th at junior high schools in Denpasar participated in this study. The participants filled up Social Support Questionnaire (CASSS) and Mental Health Questionnaire (MHC-SF). Data was analysed using Chi Square. The result shows that adolescents’ phychological well-being is influenced by social supports from friends and school, while their social well-being is affected by social supports fulfilled from their parents, teachers, friends, and school (p<0.005). The strongest contributing factor of adolescent mental health status is parental support socially (OR : 5,2; p<0.005). It is concluded that the role of parents, teachers, and peers is significant in supporting adolecents on choosing adaptive coping to deal with potential difficulties in teenage years. Abstract

Introduction: Mental health is a critical aspect of the adolescence period. Several symptoms, such as anxiety, loneliness, depression, sleep disturbance, and self-harming thoughts, are likely to emerge among adolescents with mental health issues. Objectives: This study aimed to explore the level of anxiety and social relationship in middle-school adolescents in Denpasar. Methods: This descriptive study enrolled a cross-sectional design. Eighty-eight middle-school adolescents in public and private junior high schools in the Denpasar City area were included as study participants. Data were collected using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) and social relationship questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted by univariate statistical analysis. Results: Findings revealed that 43.5% of participants were experiencing a moderate level of anxiety. The moderate anxiety responses on the physical, cognitive, psychological, and behavioral aspects were also documented. The level of social relationships was identified as moderate, high, and low, with a total percentage of 45.7%, 27.2%, and 27.2%, respectively. These social relationships were characterized by moderate responsiveness, effective communication, and responsibility. Conclusions: Many participants were experiencing a moderate level of anxiety and social relationship. Thus, their skills in constructing good social relationships and managing issues were still insufficient. We suggest organizing a program that actively engages the role of parents and schools to prevent and promote mental health awareness and issues among adolescents.

Abstract

Background and Purpose:  The condition that a person experiences stress can affect the function of various organ systems of the body, especially the cardiovascular system. Manifestations of prolonged stress can turn into anxiety. This study aims to determine differences in temperature distribution in the face of students who experience anxiety facing the OSCE.Method: This research method using pre-experimental design where samples are experiencing anxiety seen temperature distribution in the face area by using thermal imaging. The sample was selected using total sampling technique in which as many as 81 students were undergoing tests OSCE is used as a sample in this study. The instrument used to measure the level of anxiety is the GAD 7, consists of seven items given questions prior to the measurement of temperature using thermal imaging.Results: The results obtained are subjected to mild anxiety as much as 49 respondents where the frontal head temperature measurement that 23 people was febrile, 22 people was normal and 4 people was hypothermia. While the results of the temporal head measurement that 27 people was febrile, 20 people was normal, and 2 people was hypothermia.Conclusion   and   recommendation:  There is a difference in temperature at each level of anxiety as measured by the temperature of the temporal and frontal. Therefore, it needs to be investigated further there a change in temperature by measuring themal imaging, after the addition of interventions for coping with anxiety.

Abstract

Masa remaja atau masa transisi dari anak-anak menuju dewasa merupakan waktu bagi individu menuntut ilmu di sekolah dan masa tersebut tidak lepas dengan adanya perubahan-perubahan yang terjadi yaitu rasa ingin bebas dalam melakukan apapun, lingkungan teman sebaya semakin luas dan tidak memungkinkan menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan seperti tindakan kekerasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor determinan perilaku bullying pada siswa SMP di Kota Denpasar. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional analitik. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster sampling dan simple random sampling. Jumlah responden pada penelitian ini adalah 112 responden. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner perilaku bullying, kuesioner DASS-21 (Cronbach Alpha = 0. 831), kuesioner harga diri (Cronbach Alpha = 0.892), kuesioner ERQ (Cronbach Alpha = 0.815) dan kuesioner dukungan sosial (Cronbach Alpha = 0.866). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji spearman rank dan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang sedang antara harga diri dengan perilaku bullying (r=-0,456; p=0,000). Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan hubungan yang lemah antara dukungan sosial dengan perilaku bullying (r=-0,249; p=0,008). Sementara kecemasan dan regulasi emosi remaja tidak memiliki hubungan dengan perilaku bullying. Uji regresi linier berganda menunjukkan adanya pengaruh simultan dari kecemasan, harga diri, regulasi emosi dan dukungan sosial terhadap bullying (r-square= 0,365, p= 0,000), sedangkan secara parsial hanya variabel harga diri yang dapat memengaruhi penurunan bullying (r-square= 0,361, T= -6,624). Faktor internal lebih dibutuhkan sebagai faktor protektif remaja dalam mencegah terjadinya perilaku bullying sehingga konsep diri remaja perlu diberikan penguatan.
