Abstract

The spirit of independent learning is a learning process where teachers and students have the freedom to explore knowledge and skills associated with the environment in order to produce human resources that fit the profile of Pancasila students and can compete in the professional world. The purpose of this study is to convey that the spirit of independent learning can be adapted to the learning process using a project-based learning model. The method used is literatur review with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this study are (1) the concept of independent learning includes 4 outlines, namely Minimum Competency Assessment, Character Survey, Expansion of Learning Outcome Assessment, and Equalization of Education Quality. (2) Independent learning includes 4 policies, namely national standard school exams organized by schools, minimum proficiency assessment and character surveys, simplification of learning planning plans, and new student admission zoning system (3) project based learning is considered relevant to be adapted to the spirit of independent learning because it involves student activity and experience in the field. Based on this explanation, this study concluded that the adaptation of the spirit of independent learning with learning project-based learnig models has a positive impact in increasing the activeness, curiosity, and spirit of learning of students.

Abstract

Healthy and hygienic behaviors are crucial for improving public health, particularly in rural areas. This community service program aims to promote healthy behaviors in Ramea Village, Pandeglang Regency, through regular exercise and handwashing activities. Exercise sessions are held at the Ramea Village field near the student post, involving community members of all ages, both young and old. Meanwhile, handwashing activities are conducted at MI Darul Huda Elementary School. The method involves direct socialization with the community and school children, facilitated by KKM students. The results of this program indicate that the Ramea Village community responded positively and enthusiastically participated in the exercise sessions held every Sunday and the handwashing practices among elementary school children, leading to an increased awareness and adoption of healthy living behaviors within the community.

Abstract

The jangek cracker business is a community business that is still rarely carried out by the people of Dumai city. This business often experiences a decline in productivity because it experiences low profits or even no profits at all and only reaches the break even point. The rarity of this business stems from problems in determining the cost price incorrectly, thus determining the selling price too low. In accordance with the problems experienced by partners, the research team offers a solution by providing skills through training on how to prepare the cost of production and calculate the cost of production systematically and precisely. The expected goal is to create increased knowledge and skills in systematically preparing the cost of production so that it is appropriate to determine the selling price.

Abstract

Kelapa merupakan tanaman asli daerah tropis yang dapat ditemui di seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Pengupasan sabut kelapa biasanya menggunakan alat tradisional seperti, parang, tombak dan kayu yang diruncingkan. Rata-rata masyarakat Indonesia banyak menggunakan Pengupas sabut kelapa yang terbuat dari tombak ataupun kayu yang diruncingkan, tanpa melihat aspek kesehatan dan keamanan. Perancangan alat pengupas sabut kelapa dibuat untuk membantu masyarakat dan pekerja dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Alat rancangan ini untuk menggantikan alat pengupas tombak yang mana masyarakat biasanya sering menggunakan untuk mengupas kelapa, dalam penggunaan alat pengupas tombak dapat mengakibatkan cidera dan sangat berbahaya. Perancangan alat ini menggunakan data antropometri masyarakat Indonesia yaitu tinggi siku dengan ukuran 93,2 cm, jarak siku keujung jari dengan ukuran 43,9 cm dan jarak genggaman tangan (grip) ke punggung pada posisi tangan kedepan dengan ukuran 76,7 cm. dan menggunakan dimensi kaki masyarakat Indonesia, ukuran yang digunakan antara lain, panjang kaki 26,6 cm lebar kaki 9,6 cm dan tinngi mata kaki 6,6 cm. Untuk membuka kelapa, alat rancangan ini membutuhkan waktu 41,8 detik untuk satu buah kelapa sedangkan alat pengupas sabut kepala tradisional membutuhkan waktu 42 detik untuk satu buah kelapa

Abstract

Usaha kecil menengah (UKM) merupakan suatu bentuk usaha yang didirikan berdasarkan inisiatif sesorang yang dapat menciptakan lapangan bagi masyarakat luas. Salah satu UKM yang ada di Kota Dumai yang bergerak di bidang makanan yaitu UKM Kerupuk Cabe Bintang Purnama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui waktu standar bagi pekerja untuk menyelesaikan suatu kegiatan hingga menghasilkan produk dengan kemasan berat 10 gram, 50 gram, 150 gram dan 350 gram, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode stopwatch time study dimana metode yang digunakan untuk menghitung waktu kerja operator dan produksi dengan metode kerja yang terbaik pada proses packaging dari mulai pengerjaan memasukkan kerupuk hingga pada proses sealing kerupuk. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah waktu standar untuk proses pembungkusan kerupuk cabe dengan ukuran 10 gram diperoleh waktu 13,62 detik, ukuran 50 gram diperoleh waktu 27,02 detik, ukuran 150 gram diperoleh waktu 27,91 detik, dan ukuran 350 gram diperoleh waktu 45,66 detik. Waktu standar untuk proses pengeleman kerupuk cabe dengan ukuran 50 gram diperoleh waktu 06,11 detik, ukuran 150 gram diperoleh waktu 11,86 detik, dan ukuran 350 gram diperoleh waktu 18,77 detik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka untuk pengingkatan dan mengefisienkan waktu kerja dapat dilakukan perbaikan atau peninjauan kembali metode kerja yang akan dilakukan.

Abstract

Usaha Dagang Batako Rafli merupakan salah satu usaha yang memiliki prospek cukup baik. Usaha ini mampu memproduksi batako dari bahan limbah cangkang kelapa sawit dan campuran semen. Dalam proses produksinya, Usaha Dagang Batako Rafli mampu menghasilkan rata-rata 8.985 batu cangkang dan 9.016 batu batako per bulan. Pengendalian kualitas merupakan sistem verifikasi dan pemeliharaan terhadap derajat kualitas produk atau proses yang diharapkan melalui perencanaan yang matang, penggunaan peralatan yang sesuai, inspeksi terus-menerus, serta tindakan korektif apabila diperlukan. Six Sigma adalah metode peningkatan kualitas yang banyak digunakan oleh perusahaan dan organisasi sebagai alat ukur upaya perbaikan kualitas produk melalui perbaikan proses. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab kecacatan produk batu cangkang dan batako serta meminimalkan tingkat cacat tersebut berdasarkan faktor material, manusia, metode, mesin, dan lingkungan, dengan perhitungan nilai sigma dan DPMO. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk batu cangkang berada pada nilai sigma 3 dengan DPMO 52.609,99, dan batu batako berada pada nilai sigma 3 dengan DPMO 47.825,56.

Abstract

Regional financial management plays a pivotal role in attaining development objectives and enhancing community welfare particularly in fledgling regions like Sigi Regency. Regional governments' fiscal performance gets thoroughly evaluated via wonky effectiveness and efficiency metrics quite essential for assessing resource management skills and revenue goals. The goal of this research is to evaluate the financial performance of Sigi Regency. The study utilised secondary data from the Sigi Regency APBD for the 2020-2024 budget cycle. In order to assess the financial effectiveness and efficiency of the region, the analysis method involved calculating the Effectiveness Ratio and Financial Efficiency Ratio. The findings indicate that, on the whole, the financial effectiveness ratio of Sigi Regency during the 2020-2024 period has reached a highly effective level. This suggests that the local government of Sigi Regency has effectively managed to achieve the expected Regional Original Revenue (PAD), thereby maximising the potential of PAD to support the region's development. Meanwhile, the financial efficiency of Sigi Regency from 2020 to 2024 generally remained at a lower and less efficient level. This indicates that the ratio of revenue to expenditure was not optimal. Even during the periods of 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024, the efficiency ratio exceeded 100 percent.

Abstract

Stunting remains a significant chronic nutritional problem in Indonesia, including the province of Aceh. The lack of data on the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) of primary healthcare physicians regarding stunting prevention represents a critical gap that warrants investigation. This study aimed to evaluate the levels of knowledge, attitudes, and practices of public health center (PHC) physicians in addressing childhood stunting in Aceh Province. A descriptive-quantitative design was employed involving 143 physicians from 39 PHC located in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar. This study was conducted between April 2022 and January 2023. Data were collected using a validated and reliable questionnaire and analyzed using univariate statistics. The majority of the respondents were female (89.5%). A total of 67.8% of respondents demonstrated good knowledge, 86% exhibited positive attitudes, and 82% reported engaging in stunting prevention practices aligned with standard guidelines. In conclusion, PHC physicians in the study area displayed strong readiness to support stunting prevention efforts. Continued capacity-building interventions and sustainable support systems are essential for reinforcing their strategic role in primary healthcare services.

Abstract

UMKM memiliki peran penting dalam menggerakkan roda perekonomian Indonesia. Ketahanan dan kemampuan UMKM dalam menghadapi persaingan menjadikan sektor ini sebagai fondasi ekonomi yang kuat. Meski demikian, dalam praktiknya masih banyak pelaku UMKM yang menghadapi hambatan, terutama dalam menentukan harga jual produk secara tepat. Berdasarkan temuan di lapangan, penetapan harga seringkali dilakukan secara tidak terstruktur, hanya mengandalkan perkiraan atau mengikuti harga pasar tanpa memperhitungkan biaya produksi secara menyeluruh. Ketidaktepatan ini dapat mengakibatkan keuntungan yang tidak maksimal dan bahkan kerugian dalam jangka panjang. Sebagai solusi, kegiatan edukatif ini dirancang untuk memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan kepada pelaku UMKM dalam menentukan harga jual berdasarkan analisis biaya. Melalui metode ceramah dan pendampingan langsung, para pelaku usaha dibimbing untuk memahami pentingnya komponen biaya sebagai dasar dalam penetapan harga. Diharapkan melalui kegiatan ini, UMKM dapat meningkatkan efektivitas strategi penetapan harga mereka, sehingga mampu bersaing secara sehat di pasar dan memberikan dampak positif bagi kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat di sekitarnya.

Abstract

Despite the widespread adoption of Lean Manufacturing (LM), its effectiveness in the food industry remains underexplored, particularly regarding the integration of the Quality System (QS). The purpose of this research is to compare QS placement and LM implementation strategies in the food industry. This study utilized a comparative approach, analyzing empirical data from four food processing companies in Indonesia over six months, employing qualitative methods (expert interviews, document analysis) and quantitative analysis. Response Surface Methodology (RSM) with the Box-Behnken design was applied for optimization, while Principal Component Analysis (PCA) identified key variables influencing Lean Manufacturing success. Two implementation strategies were compared: phased implementation with a separate Quality System (Companies A and B) and simultaneous implementation with an integrated Quality System (Companies C and D). The findings revealed that Company A achieved the highest performance, with 88% in 5S and 85% in Just-In-Time (JIT), followed by Company B with 80% in JIT and 75% in 5S. In contrast, companies C and D exhibited lower performance. PCA results indicated that PC1 (80.40%) was associated with on-time delivery and sales growth, whereas PC2 (14.47%) was linked to rejection factors. Companies A and B excelled in PC1, while Companies C and D were more dominant in PC2. These findings suggest that phased implementation of LM tools is more effective than simultaneous application. This research not only addresses a critical gap in the literature but also provides practical insights for food industry practitioners seeking to enhance operational efficiency through Lean Manufacturing.
