The purpose of this study was to find out how the principal's leadership strategy on the professional competence of teachers to improve the quality of education. This study also seeks to identify various obstacles faced in the professional competence of teachers as well as the professional competence of teachers that are suggested in the future in improving the quality of education. The object of this research is SMK Negeri 2 Semarang. While the subjects in this study are teachers, principals, and vice principals. The research method uses qualitative methods. The results of this research indicate that to improve the quality of education at SMKN 2 Semarang is divided into two strategic activities; The first is a formal strategy, namely teachers are assigned by institutions to attend education/training, either by the school itself or by educational/training institutions. The second is a non-formal strategy, namely the teacher for his desire and effort to train and develop himself related to his work or position such as discipline, discussion, and motivation. There are several obstacles faced in developing the professional competence of teachers to improve the quality of education at SMKN 2 Semarang, among others: the lack or limitation of IT mastery in schools and limited time, the lack of teacher creativity in the learning process in the classroom, and the lack of a collection of books or school facilities, and lack of scientific work made by the teacher.

This research was intended to develop an innovative conceptual model for early childhood education programs to develop early childhood character through Javanese traditional game. The research employed a research and development approach. Two categories of the subject were used for this research; direct subjects, consist of 2-4-age; and indirect subjects consisting of teacher and materials. These subjects were taken by means of purposive random sampling. The needed data were collected by means of interviews and literature reading. The analyzes showed that subjects, both from student and teachers were highly enthusiastic playing those traditional games. These traditional games had simple rules, easy to apply especially for toddler. Besides, these traditional games had moral value to build toddler’s character. This model has been effectively proven to build toddlers’ characters successfully. Teachers actively reviewed the learning outcomes of the children and gave useful inputs for further development for them. Generally speaking, it can be infered that by using this model has resulted on the improvement of toddlers’ characters which is indicated by self-quality. This research was conducted based on the phenomenon that is in high school Walisongo Pecangaan Jepara indicating students who have low self-disclosure in the communication between peers. The purpose of this study to determine the efficacy in improving transparency in the communication between peers through group guidance Johari window techniques. This techniques type of research used in this study is experimental research. Sample were 10 students who have low self-disclosure in personal communication between peers. Methods of data collection using psychological scales. Wilcoxon test results obtained Thitung 55.0 > 8.0 TTable or imply Ha accepted and Ho rejected. These results indicate the level of openness in communication among peers increased after receiving group guidance Johari window technique. These results demonstrate openness in communication among peers before getting group guidance Johari window technique 57.5% with medium category and guidance johari window technique after gaining guidance johari window technique 76.5% with high category. The difference in levels of self-disclosure of students before and after the technical guidance of Johari window by 19%. In addition, students progressing better behavior seen from the increasing some indicators such as, be objective, provisional, understand yourself, understand others, adopted a trusting and open attitude.

Belajar merupakan suatu proses perubahan perilaku seseorang berdasarkan praktik atau pengalaman tertentu. Perilaku belajar merupakan semua aktivitas dalam rangka memperoleh hal, pemahaman, dan tingkah laku baru individu. Perilaku belajar mahasiswa dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Faktor yang berpengaruh secara determinan dalam perilaku belajar bisa ditinjau dari faktor fisiologis, psikologis, keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah bentuk perilaku belajar mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang dan faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap perilaku belajar. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian survey. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa UNNES angkatan 2010 dan 2011. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Insidental Sampling. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Instrument tersebut telah diujicobakan untuk digunakan dalam penelitian. Metode analisis data menggunakan deskriptif persentase untuk bentuk perilaku belajar dan regresi ganda untuk faktor determinan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bentuk perilaku belajar positif yang paling muncul adalah mencatat pada saat kuliah yaitu sebanyak 84,44% sedangkan perilaku belajar negatif adalah mengcopy tugas teman sebanyak 62,74%. Faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap perilaku belajar adalah faktor psikologis sebesar 55,6%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah faktor psikologis paling berpengaruh terhadap perilaku belajar mahasiswa. Learning is a process of change in behavior human based on practice or particular experience. Learning behavior is activity in order to gain something, understanding, and new behavior. College student learning behavior is influenced by several factors. The determinant factors that influence the learning behavior can be observed from physiological, psychological, family, school, and community. The problems studied in this research is the form of learning behavior UNNES college students and the factors affecting the learning behavior. This type of research is survey research. The population is UNNES college students grade 2010 and 2011. The sampling using an incidental sampling technique. The methods of data collection using a questionnaire. The instrument has been tested for use in this research. The Data analysis using descriptive percentages to analyze form of learning behavior and multiple regression for determinant factor. The results showed that the most positive form learning behaviors is take some note at the time of the study as 84.44% while the most negative learned behaviors are copying friends task as 62.74%. The factors that most influence of learning behavior is a psychological factor as 55.6%. The conclusions of this study are the psychological factors most influence on student learning behavior.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya minat siswa kelas VIII dan IX di SMP N 1 Sigaluh Banjarnegara tahun pelajaran 2012/ 2013 dalam memanfaatkan layanan konseling perorangan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian ex-post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII dan IX SMP Negeri 1 Sigaluh Banjarnegara. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala psikologi dan kuesioner. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum faktor yang paling mempengaruhi antara faktor internal dan eksternal adalah faktor internal. Dari faktor internal, hasil yang diperoleh adalah persepsi dengan nilai 0.423, motivasi dengan nilai 0.412 dan faktor eksternal hasil yang diperoleh adalah kepribadian konselor dengan nilai 0.346, teman sebaya dengan nilai 0.419, guru dengan nilai 0.043. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa faktor yang paling berpengaruh dalam rendahnya minat siswa dalam memanfaatkan layanan konseling adalah faktor internal, sedangkan untuk faktor internal komponen yang paling berpengaruh adalah persepsi. Faktor yang paling mempengaruhi dari faktor eksternal adalah teman sebaya. The purpose of this research is to know the factors that affecting the students low interest in utilizing individual counseling services in grade VIII and IX SMP N 1 Sigaluh, Banjarnegara in lesson year 2012/ 2013. The type of research used are the ex-post facto research. The population in this research is the whole grade VIII and IX SMP N 1 Sigaluh Banjarnegara. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection methods in the study are psychological scale and questionnaire. Methods of data analysis using multiple linier regression analysis. Result of the study mention that in general the factors that most influence between internal an external factors are internal factors. From internal factors, the result obtained is perception of the value 0.423, the value of motivation with 0.412 and external factors the result obtained is the personality of the counselors with a value of 0.346, peers with value 0.419 and teacher with value 0.043. the summary of this research is the most influential factor wich causes students low interest in utilizing counseling service is internal factors, while for the most influential component is the perception. The factors that most influence from external factors are peers.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh informasi atau temuan empiris tentang meningkatkan harga diri melalui konseling realita pada siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 01 Pati. Populasi penelitian yaitu 23 siswa yang terjaring melalui hasil analisis DCM dan sampel yang berjumlah 6 siswa menggunakan purposive sampling. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan skala psikologi harga diri. Instrumen tersebut telah diujicobakan untuk digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan validitas dengan rumus product moment oleh Pearson dan reabilitas instrument dengan rumus Alpha.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni analisis deskriptif persentase dan Uji wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan harga diri pada siswa melalui layanan konseling realita, dengan nilai Zhitung = 2,20 ≥ Ztabel = 0 pada n = 6, dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini yakni harga diri dapat ditingkatkan melalui layanan konseling realita. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan guru pembimbing dapat lebih mengintensifkan konseling realita sebagai alternative untuk membantu meningkatkan harga diri siswa. The purpose of the research was to get the information or empirical finding about developing self esteem through reality counseling to the students of SMK Muhammadiyah 01 Pati. The population was 23 students that taken from DCM analyse result and sample total was 6 students used sampling purposive. Data collecting instrument used psychological scale of self esteem The instrument has been tested that used in research with validity and product moment formula by Pearson and instrument reliability with alpha formula. Data analysis technique used percentage descriptive and wilcoxon test. The result of research showed there was development of self esteem to students through reality counseling with Zhitung = 2,20 ≥ Ztabel = 0 , n = 6, with significance level 5%. The conclusion of research was self esteem could be developed through reality counseling. Therefore, it was expected that the counselor can be more intensively do reality counseling as an alternative for developing self esteem of the students.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi persepsi guru mata pelajaran terhadap bimbingan dan konseling dikaji dari partisipasi mereka terhadap pelaksanaan BK di SMA Negeri 1 Maos. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru mapel SMA Negeri 1 Maos berjumlah 47 orang. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala psikologi. Validitas instrument menggunakan rumus product moment dan perhitungan reliabilitasnya menggunakan rumus Alpha. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif persentase dan koefisien penentuan. Hasil analisi menunjukkan bahwa Ho penelitian ditolak dan Ha penelitian diterima. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya korelasi positif antara partisipasi guru mapel dalam pelaksanaan BK dengan persepsi guru mapel terhadap BK di SMA Negeri 1 Maos. Oleh karena itu diharapkan kepada pihak sekolah terutama kepala sekolah, perlu membangun suasana yang dapat memicu tumbuhnya kerjasama antara guru mapel dan guru pembimbing dalam pelaksanaan BK dengan cara memberikan pengarahan tentang BK. The aim of this research is to describe and measure the contribution of subjec teachers perception in guidance and counseling implementation based on their participation on it. Subject of the teachers are all of SMA N 1 Maos teachers which consist of 47 teachers. Data collection methods were using were psychological scale. Instrument validity was tested using product moment and Alpha formula was used to test reliability. Descriptive percentage analysis and coeffisien of determination were used in data analysis. The result shows that Ho is rejecte and Ha is accepted. It can be conclued that there is positive correlation between participation and perception of subject teachers in guidance and counseling implementation in SMA N 1 Maos. From this reseach it can suggested that headmaster should create supporting environment that can stimulate the cooperation between subject teachers and guidance and counseling in the implementation of guiding and counseling programs through some direction and suggestion.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data empiris tentang peningkatan interaksi sosial pada siswa kelas VII G melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik permainan social playing. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII G SMP Negeri 3. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 10 siswa dengan kemampuan interaksi sosial tinggi, sedang, rendah, dan sangat rendah. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala interaksi sosial. Metode analisis data yaitu deskriptif persentase dan uji hipotesis dengan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu setelah memperoleh layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik permainan social playing, kriteria interaksi sosial siswa menjadi tinggi (80.04%). Dari uji Wilcoxon diperoleh Zhitung sebesar 2.80 dan nilai Ztabel pada taraf kesalahan 0.025 dan n=10 yaitu 1.96. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa interaksi sosial pada siswa kelas VII G SMP Negeri 3 Ungaran dapat ditingkatkan melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik permainan social playing. The purpose from this research is to get empirical data about the increase of social interaction in seven G student. Through guidance service group social playing games. This type of research is experimental research, the population in this research is experimental research, the population in this research is seven G students in junior high school 3 Ungaran. Sampling technique in this research was purposive sampling. The samples have been taken on this research is 10 students with the ability of social interaction is high, medium, low, and very low. Method of collecting data in this research is using social interaction scale. Analysis methods data is descriptive percentage and hypothesis testing with wilcoxon test. The result in this research is after receiving guidance service group with social playing techniques, criteria of social interaction of students is high (80.04%). Obtained from Wilcoxon test with Zcount =2.80 and Ztable if level error 0.025 and n=10 is 1,96. So it can be concivde that social interaction in seven G students in junior high school 3 Ungaran can be enhanced by giving guidance service group with social playing techniques.

The purpose of this research to obtain empirical data of the effectiveness of group guidance service with role playing technique to improve interpersonal communication. The population in this research is all of XI IPS 4 SMA N 14 Semarang which consist of 36 students and the samples were 10 students which taken using purposive sampling. Data collection methods were using psychological scale and observation. The data analysis techniques was using wilcoxon match pairs test. The research results showed that interpersonal communication before treatment included in moderate category and after treatment interpersonal communication included in high category. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data empiris tentang peningkatan tanggung jawab belajar melalui layanan konseling individual teknik self-management pada siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Pemalang. Populasinya adalah siswa kelas XI Akuntasi 2 yang berjumlah 34 siswa dan sampel yang berjumlah 6 siswa menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala tanggung jawab belajar. Instrumen tersebut telah diuji validitasnya dengan rumus product moment, sedangkan reliabilitas instrumen digunakan rumus Alpha.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi analisis deskriptif persentase, sedangkan untuk uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dengan hasil perhitungan Zhitung = 2.20 > Ztabel = 0 pada n= 6, dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu tanggung jawab belajar dapat ditingkatkan melalui layanan konseling individual teknik self-management.Oleh karena itu diharapkan guru pembimbing dapat lebih mengintensifkan layanan konseling individual teknik self-management sebagai strategi alternatif untuk membantu siswa meningkatkan tanggung jawab belajar. The data collection technique used was learning responsibility scale. The instrument has been tested it’s validity with product moment formula, and reliability of the instrument with Alpha formula. Data analysis technique used were descriptive percentage and Wilcoxon test. The result of this research showed that there was improvement of learning responsibility through self-management technique individual counseling service with Zcount = 2.20> Ztable = 0, n=6, with 5% significance level. It could be concluded that learning responsibility could be improved through self-management technique individual counseling service. So, the teacher can hopefully be more intensivy the self-management technique individual counseling service as an alternative strategy to help the students increase their learning responsibility.
