Abstract

PT Gandum company is a cigarette manufacturer company located in Malang City. The company has three offices that are used to produce cigarettes. With different office locations, making information delivery less efficient. From the results of interviews with related parties in PT Gandum. With different office locations, the HR department in managing employee data has a problem because, if there is a change in personal data, the employee does not report to the HR department so that the data in other parts is not updated. And in conveying information by the HR department to other parts is also not efficient, because it must come to every part of each office. The results of this study are in the form of an information system that makes it easier for employees to access and manage information related to their data and information from companies and also makes it easier for the HR department to convey information to other employees. This system is built using a multi-tiered architecture where the interface side, program logic, and database are in different locations. The methodology used in this study is a prototype model. For analysis and system design illustrated by using UML diagrams (Unifed Modeling Language). The system is divided into 2, which is based on android and web-based. On Android-based systems run on smartphones for employees and computers for admin in the form of a web-based system.

Abstract

The application of the AlgoritmaKopi mobile device is an application that is on the Google is a mobile application that has features “ngulik kopi” in the form of a tool to help application users who are interested in brewing coffee. “kulikan terbaru” in the form of notes from users on the results of steaks that have been done, the latest events which are event-related content from various shops that are currently or will be held, and there are also recognizable features that contain content related to the coffee industry in Indonesia. “The purpose of this study was due to complaints about the application of the Coffee Algorithm that emerged, from these complaints including content that could not be opened, the portion of the image that was too large for the size of an application, content was still messy, and application navigation was still confusing. The purpose of this study is to find out the problems experienced by users whether it is true, and also provide recommendations regarding problems that exist. Based on the initial test found 5 problems, namely the size of the writing is less large, the placement of menus, buttons, icons, the color of the writing is not in contrast, the display is less dynamic, and there are still bugs in the application. Improvements made are improving the initial appearance of the application, replacing better icons, eliminating non-contrasting colors, adding some relevant features related to the application.” From the results of the scenarios done, the value of the number of clicks during task completion is 5.9 clicks, for the time per completed task performance is 74.6 seconds, while the task success rate is 0.92, and for error during task performance is 1.33 of the total steps taken.

Abstract

Software testing is one of the most important stages in software development. The complexity of system testing leads to the need for tools that can determine automatic test case cases. The activity diagram is one of the UML behavioral models that is suitable for system testing, because the activity diagram can evaluate the flow of the complete system. Therefore this study proposes to develop a tool that can generate test cases based on activity diagrams for model-based testing. The technique used in generating test cases is by building a flow dependency tree (DFT) that collects information from the ArgoUML file activity diagram through the help of a parser. Then the DFT processes using the dept first search algorithm (DFS) which is ready to be moditifaced for seacth each path of the test case. All requiremenst for tool are the result of library needs elicitation in related research and observations on a number of software tool websites. This tool has tested through unit testing with the white box basis path testing technique, integtation testing with big-bang approach. Validation testing with black box testing technique. Test cases generated by this tools have an accurate rate of 100%.

Abstract

The OVO application is an e-money application used in the digital. Usage of the OVO application has started since 2017 which has over a million user based on the statistics garnered from the playstore and a short survey conducted by the author, the OVO application has gathered many complaints about its features and display. Therefore, the researcher conducted an evaluation using the diary study method to gain a detailed and conceptual insight on experiences and responses in regards to the usage of the OVO application to know the user experience because there has not been a user experience evaluation towards the OVO application. The diary study method was conducted with interviews, scenario work, and documentation towards five respondents over the course of 2 weeks. During the process of analyzing the diary study data, the author utilized a user journey method to map the user's journey when interacting with the application, which was being researched therefore gaining a journey map of each user containing details such as stage, touchpoint, thinking and feeling and ideas for improvement. The problems found in this research was about the improvement of features and display. Recommendation results regarding features and display was gained by looking at the journey map of the user which were then used as a base for improvement and creation of a prototype user interface. The success rate of the overall process of this research was calculated based on validation result from interviews from respondent and expert regarding the improvement of the display of the user interface which was conducted to gain data which corresponded with the goal of this research.

Abstract

Travel services is one of services that people need to travel and now many companies have open travel services. But problems arise for passengers and Ladju Travel, namely passengers who do not know the location of the travel car. In addition, another problem is the way Ladju Travel in resolving the Traveling Salesman Problem problem is still using manual methods so that the order of pickup and delivery is not good. To solve this problem, an Android-based travel passenger pickup and delivery application was developed. This application is divided into three, there are applications for drivers, passengers and management. Application development use the Waterfall model and for requirement modeling and design use the Unified Modeling Language. Traveling Salesman Problem using Greedy algorithms. Applications was tested using Black Box Testing and Usability Testing. Black Box Testing will also be perform on Compatibility Testing. Black Box Testing carried out on all functional requirements produces valid status for all functional on three different Android versions, namely version 5.0-5.1 (Lollipop), 6.0 (Marshmellow), and 7.0-7.1 (Nougat). The result of Usability Testing that use the System Usability Scale questionnaire is 78.75 score for the application for passengers, 69 score for the application for the driver and 70 score for the application for management. These results are above the minimum average score of 68.

Abstract

Asphalt 9: Legends is a racing game that shows sophisticated cars in row that play with more clear graphic. Asphalt 9: Legends has 10 millions users, but this game was found a problem from the respondent like function from the fitur such as Settings and Restart that are difficult to find for the user. Based on observation from a writer, this game has many kinds of problem such as Hidden, is a clearance symbol that shows for fitur function and feedback, which is not serving mode touchdrive function in the game so there is no feedback between the system and users. The purpose of this observation are for evaluating users interface from Asphalt 9: Legends using cognitive walkthrough and Heuristic Evaluation method. Cognitive Walkthrough method involves 4 respondents who are new users of this game, for heuristic evaluating method involves 9 evaluator experts. The result of the Cognitive Walkthrough shows the Asphalt 9: legends has enough problems in Users and Hidden. Evaluating using heuristic method shows this game has 26 usability problems which is heuristic MA01 (visibility of System Status) prinsiple has the highest problem 30.7%, meanwhile the highest average level of severity is in the Heuristic Ma03 (User Control and Freedom) principle is 2.63 in percentage.

Abstract

Fingerprint scanner's presence infrastructure is a system that is widely applied as a presence today such as the Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM). The presence system using a fingerprint scanner can help staff for recording attendance data, as well as calculating the performance of the employee. However, there are problems that arise from using the fingerprint scanners as a presence system, including the presence of attendance recapitulation which is still manualy calculate, asynchronous employee attendance with attendees result, transparency of the attendance data is unknown by the employee. The solution to this problem is to make each civitas have a tool that is used to make a presence, so that the presence can be done by the civitas themselves and attendance data can be directly obtained by staffing staff. From this solution a system was developed to use a smartphone as a media presence because this device is owned by each civitas, sensors owned by smartphone devices are also complete such as WIFI sensors, fingerprints and cameras. The author develops an Android mobile-based system as a presence by utilizing fingerprint sensor, camera and WIFI. WIFI is used as a virtual fence so that the community who wants to attend must be present in the FILKOM environment, the development of this system carries the REST API technology that is useful as a bridge between mobile presence data and computer staffing staff used as a recapitulation tool for community attendance. This presence system was developed with the software development life cycle, which is the waterfall method where needs have been defined at the beginning and there is no change until the design, implementation, and testing process of the system has been developed. Tests carried out include: unit testing on four methods with valid results, validation testing on 38 functional requirements with all valid results, integration testing by checking the interaction of two methods with valid results, and compatibility testing using three devices with valid results. Abstract

Cutting hair is a necessity for men. When cutting hair, of course, men want the best results. The results of a good haircut can certainly increase the man's confidence. To get good haircut results, of course, you need a barber (barberman) with good pruning skills. Not a few men who find it difficult to find a barberman that can produce results that match the desire of the man. These problems also occur in Prosperous Barbershop where Prosperous Barbershop management finds it difficult to find a high-quality barberman due to the lack of information related to the barberman, so it takes a long time and long procedure when recruiting a barberman and sometimes after going through a recruitment procedure that does not take a little time, Prosperous Barbershop management also cannot find a suitable barberman to recruit. Based on these problems, a web-based Barberman Rate application was developed with a Prosperous Barbershop case study. The application development process uses the waterfall method. The profile matching method was used in this study to adjust barberman profiles with barbershop customer profiles to make it easier for barbershop customers to find a barberman that matches the customer. The development of the Barberman Rate application is expected to facilitate the Prosperous Barbershop management in recruiting barberman and barbershop customers in finding a barberman that matches the customer's profile.

Abstract

SAFA Guesthouse is a private enterprise working on a reservation room, every customer making a reservation has to cross an on-line service provider called airy. Every customer's list of room reservations goes to an airy database, so SAFA Guesthouse cannot access the original data of the reservation room transaction. In the system provided by airy there's only management of the reservation data, and there's even a lot of activities that can't be regulated in the airy system which is employee data management, logbook management, employee schedule management, management of the reservation process (check-in and check-out) and management of room hygiene status. According to the problem, the solutions came with the website technology of the management of the SAFA guesthouse reservation implemented in the framework Laravel. Requirement Engineering were the first step in developing a system in this research to result in 45 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. In requirement engineering, there are also 2 actors who will use the system if they have passed the development stage, namely Customer and Front office. After the requirement engineering are carried out the design phase that produces sequence diagrams, class diagrams, component design, database design and interface design, then the implementation phase is carried out. The development method used in this study is the rapid application development method and using HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP programming languages. Testing in this research uses the white box method that produces 100% valid grades, the white box test with 100% valid results and RAD test results that produce 100% valid result.

Abstract

The growth in the number of motor vehicles, especially two-wheeled motor vehicles in Indonesia, tends to make the demand for two-wheeled vehicle repair services increase. Mr. Montir PCI Cilegon is one of the motorcycle service services in the city of Cilegon. At present, Mr. Montir PCI Cilegon uses an ordinary cash register to make payment transactions. With this standard cash register, the problem is that there is a mismatch of the amount of money saved with the proof of payment receipt and the recording of financial statements is also done by copying information from the receipt to another medium, and can only carry out simple transactions so that it cannot carry the needs others such as stock recording and sales reports. This causes several obstacles that can harm both from employee errors when copying information to other media to the availability of a central report that makes it difficult to monitor financial statements. Therefore, a point of sale system was developed aimed at supporting Mr. Montir PCI Cilegon both in sales and information optimization. This point of sale system provides key features such as adding transactions, viewing transaction history and sales charts, spare part stock management and so on. This system utilizes a linear regression algorithm to predict the stock of spare parts needed by Mr. Montir PCI Cilegon. The choice of algorithm is due to its flexible nature so it does not require a lot of variables. This system is built on a web platform. This system has been tested using the Whitebox method and the Blackbox method. Besides that, compatibility testing using Sortsite and accuracy testing is also done by matching the calculation manually with the calculation automatically by the system.
