Abstract

The rapid development of Information Technology (IT) facilitates various fields, including the government sector. The application of IT in the government sector is carried out in the application of the smart city concept which consists of the application of 6 pillars. The application of the smart city concept in Malang City has been echoed since 2014 and is targeted for completion in 2022. Of the six pillars of smart city, smart governance is the pillar related to bureaucratic affairs. RW 12 Tulusrejo Village is one of the areas that requires the implementation of smart governance. RW 12 has 3 services, namely information services, finance, and letter submission. However, the implementation of these services is not optimal due to several obstacles. The first obstacle is that the data stored is still in the form of printed archives, making it difficult to provide data. The second obstacle is the pandemic situation in Indonesia which makes residents a bit afraid to meet in submitting letters. The third obstacle is the busyness of the RT and RW management which makes them not in place so that it hinders residents who want to submit letters. Therefore, a mobile application for the Rukun Warga community service was developed using the MASAM development method and the flutter framework. The results of the application design produce 16 use cases and the results of testing applications that are built on the usability side produce an SUS value of 70 for citizen applications and an SUS value of 68.5 for administrator applications.

Abstract

PT. Kencana Tiara Gemilang is a plastic sheet manufacturing company that was founded in early 2014. Managed by professionals who have decades of experience in the plastics field. The author finds that there are several processes that are not carried out properly so that business processes become hampered or less effective. These indications are found in the marketing business process, namely the existence of activities that are still manual so that improvements will be made and there are activities that are not needed. This study uses the Business Process Model Natation (BPMN) diagram. From here, business processes are analyzed using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method and to make business process improvements using Business Process Improvement (BPI). Then the results of the current business process and the results of the recommendation business process are found in the marketing business process the average difference between the current business process and the recommendation is 37.25%, 49.18% in the business strategy plan sub-process and 74.27% on the sub business process marketing plan.

Abstract

PT. Kencana Tiara Gemilang is a manufacturing company based on plastic sector and located in Singosari, Malang. PT. Kencana Tiara Gemilang products are geosynthetic, agricultural and innovation products. Problems that often occur in the production process are sales & marketing take a long time to receive some orders, PPIC makes the wrong calculations in determining raw materials, and the production process takes a long time because of Human Resources (HR). For this reason, it is necessary to evaluate the production process. After conducting interviews and observations, it can be seen that the production process is divided into three business processes, such as the production planning process, the production process, and the product evaluation process. The three business processes will be modeled by using the Business Process Model and Nation (BPMN) with a bizagi modeler as a tool. Furthermore, evaluation and analysis were carried out using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to get the priority of the existing problems based on the RPN value. After that, the next step is to make recommendations for business process improvements using the Business Process Improvement (BPI) method with streaming tools. Finally, compare the results of the current business process simulation (AS-IS) and recommendations (TO-BE). The simulation comparison results show that there is a savings in the production planning business process of 21.55 % for Max Time and 5.01 % for Average Time, the production business process is 18.36 % for Max Time and 16.38 % for Average Time, and The product evaluation business process is 32.06 for Max Time and 42.48 % for average time. Savings indicates that the duration of time has decreased from the current ongoing business process (AS-IS) into a business process recommendation (TO-BE).

Abstract

Lumajang Bersahabat is the official e-Government application for the Lumajang Regency Government based on a mobile application that can be widely used by the public to obtain information about Lumajang. The usability evaluation of the application that has been carried out so far is limited to involving the internal organization of the organization with a conventional approach. The developer requires usability evaluation from external parties, namely the community as users to get input and materials for developing the Lumajang Lumajang application in the future. This study aims to testing Lumajang Bersahabat that involves users with usability testing methods and the Human Centered Design (HCD) approach which produces recommendations for user interface improvements. Usability testing produces values from aspects of effectiveness, efficiency, and user Satisfaction and Human Centered Design (HCD) as an approach to product design that focuses on user testing. In the usability evaluation phase I resulted in an Effectiveness value is 71.2%, an efficiency value is 65.5%, and user Satisfaction with an SUS score 46.25. The Human Centered Design process produces an interface improvement design in the form of a prototype to solve 9 usability problems and add 7 new features according to user needs. Phase II usability testing on the interface improvement prototype resulted in an increase in the Effectiveness value to 98.4%, the efficiency value to 97.5%, and user Satisfaction with an SUS score of 84.58.

Abstract

Review on Google Play Store is one of the features used to provide a rating of an application. MyXL is a self-service application provided by PT XL Axiata Tbk on the Google Play Store that is useful for users to perform XL services easier such as activating internet packages, checking credit, checking remaining quota, etc. However, the review on the application is only in the form of text with no specific meaning and there are some high ratings but the reviews given are negative reviews, for that a sentiment analysis is needed that can classify reviews as user sentiment. In this research, the scraping stage was carried out for collecting application user review data, followed by the text preprocessing stage to process data by selecting data and turning it into more structured data. The data from the text preprocessing were word weighted using the Term Frequency - Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) method. Then sentiment classification is carried out using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. The best results were obtained with the SVM algorithm for sentiment testing for 2 classes using the value of training data and test data of 80%:20%, the total data is balanced with 160 positive and 160 negative data, experiments with cross validation K = 5 and the use of a linear kernel. The results obtained for the average value of 88% accuracy, 88% precision, 88% recall and 88% f-measure.

Abstract

SSS Snack Agent is a small business engaged in the wholesale trade of snacks and beverages. Currently, the recording of inventory and sales transactions is still done manually, resulting in limited access to information and the risk of miscalculation or recording. In addition, checking expired goods is quite difficult for employees because there is no record of the expiration date of goods when received from distributors. In response to these problems, the solution offered is to develop an inventory information system and sales transactions to make it easier for employees to solve problems related to recording inventory and sales transactions, as well as checking expired goods. The system will be developed with a waterfall on a web system with codeigniter framework based on the PHP programming language. The steps taken include needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results of the validation test get 100% valid results from 11 test cases. For the results of the user acceptance testing (UAT), the test was carried out on three actors. First, the owner actor with a UAT percentage value of 81%; second, the cashier actor with a UAT percentage value of 82.5%; and finally, the warehouse staff actor with a UAT percentage value of 84%.

Abstract

PT. Terminal Teluk Lamong uses information technology in the form of Employee Self Service Application (ESSA), a web-based personnel information system will be developed further into ESSA Mobile by the end of 2022. Users of the website version of ESSA face various issues, according to interviewees, including limited accessibility, a difficult attendance process, stacked notifications, and information that is not provided in real time. This research aims to provide a user interface and interaction for ESSA Mobile that is more accessible, fits user needs, and addresses issues that users have had with the website version of ESSA. The output of this research is a high-fidelity prototype. Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach was used in designing the solution for this research. Evaluation for this research was done using usability testing to measure three aspects, namely effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction, using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The results of the effectiveness test showed a value of 95% for organic employees and 100% for employee superiors and human capital. The results of the efficiency test showed a TBE value of 0,131 goals/sec and an ORE value of 92,43% for organic employees; a TBE value of 0,258 goals/sec and an ORE value of 100% for employee superiors; and a TBE value of 0,174 goals/sec and an ORE value of 100% for human capital. The results of the satisfaction test showed an acceptable and excellent SUS score of 80 for organic employees, 76,88 for employee superiors, and 74,17 for human capital. Based on the tests result, the solution designed is considered successful in meeting user needs.

Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Kediri is one of the local government agencies in the fields of communication and informatics. DISKOMINFO of Kabupaten Kediri is currently planning to develop a web-based service to confirm attendance at an event without using manual paperwork and reduce paper usage for confirm attedance. To solve this problem, a web-based user interface and interaction design is made to simplify the attendance process. The design was created using design thinking method consisting of five steps empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The test was done using usability testing with aspects of effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction for civil servant (PNS) and civilian users. The result effectiveness aspect, civil servants scored 90% while the civilian scored 93.3%. The efficiency aspect test shows a result of 0,102 goals/sec and 88,65% for the PNS while 0,150 goals/sec and 94,39% for the civilian. For the satisfaction aspect using the system usability scale, the civil servant scored 79,5, while the civilian scored 79,2. Both of those results can be categorized as "acceptable" on acceptability category, so the designed solution is acceptable to the user.

Abstract

Digital Wallet is an electronic application that can be used to make financial transactions online, without physical money and without cards, users only use smartphones in conducting financial transactions. A popular digital wallet application during this pandemic is Dana. The Dana app has many users, so there are often positive, negative and neutral reviews that are irrelevant to the rating given on the Google Play Store. The Dana application review data will be obtained using the Web Scraping technique using the Google-Play-Scraper API. The data from the scraping will then be done by text preprocessing to clean the text so that the data can be executed. Sentiment analysis can detect whether a text contains positive, negative or neutral opinions from user reviews that do not match the rating. Random Forest is a method in analysis that consists of several decision trees as a classifier. In this study, the random forest method was used by dividing three classes of sentiment, namely positive, negative and neutral. Also taking evaluation indicators, namely accuracy, recall, precision and f-measure. The test is carried out based on the number of trees and the depth of the tree to 1354 data by dividing the data by 250 data per class. Based on the results of tests and analyzes that have been carried out, with a comparison of training data and test data of 80%: 20%, namely precision 84%, recall 84%, F1-Score 84% and accuracy of 84% with a tree depth of 65 and a tree number of 400.
