Abstract

The development of information technology is currently changing the way people shop, giving rise to new behaviors in online shopping. This has prompted businesses to adopt various selling methods, one of which is live shopping on social media or e-commerce platforms. Live shopping involves using video to introduce and promote products, with the aim of influencing consumers' trust in the product. Trust in a product can be influenced by factors such as product quality, perceived value, and the frequency of participation in live shopping activities. This study aims to determine the influence of these factors on trust in a product during live shopping, using a quantitative approach and Structural Equation Modeling-Covariance Based (SEM-CB) method. The researchers distributed online surveys and collected clean data from 433 respondents. Data processing was performed using IBM SPSS 22 and IBM AMOS 26 tools. The results of the study showed that one hypothesis was not accepted: that product quality has an influence on trust in the product, with a probability (p) value of 0.805. In this case, the audience may not necessarily trust the product quality when live shopping activities on social media and e-commerce.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has hampered the movement of people in their daily activities, so it is necessary to make some adaptations, especially in the work system. Besides that, the Covid-19 pandemic also has accelerated digital transformations, especially in the industrial and corporate sectors. Many companies are currently implementing a remote work system or commonly known as Work From Anywhere (WFA). The existence of this remote work system can also increase employee work productivity. There are various factors that affect employee work productivity, especially in the application of the WFA work system. This study aims to determine the role of educational level and the use of communication platforms in supporting employee productivity during the WFA period. This study uses mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) or commonly known as the mix method with an exploratory sequential design approach. Data collection was carried out to WFA employees through semi-structured interviews with 10 informants and a survey by distributing questionnaires to 120 respondents. Further analysis was carried out using thematic analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis, one-way ANOVA test, and multiple linear regression methods. The results of this study is that the level of education does not directly affect the productivity of WFA employees. However, the knowledge gained at the educational level can support employee work productivity during the WFA period. Meanwhile, the communication platform has proved to be an important role in supporting employee productivity in the WFA work system.

Abstract

The shift in consumer spending to digital has also fueled the growth of online businesses, one of which is online resellers. It is clear from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) that in 2020 there are 2.36 million companies engaged in e-commerce across the country. Of these, 1.77 million companies (75.15%) are located in Java. Evermos is a platform that connects brands and retailers to sell the best authentic Indonesian products. Therefore, the researchers evaluated the user experience aspects using the meCUE survey method on the Evermos app to identify which apps need improvement from a user experience perspective. The purpose of testing with the MeCUE questionnaire is to find out the advantages and disadvantages of the application under study. The MeCUE study is divided into 4 modules, each discussing product attributes (usefulness, usability, visual aesthetic, status, commitment), user sentiment (positive and negative), and consequences (product loyalty and intention to use), the last one concerns general evaluation product. The EVERMOS application evaluation results for all modules 1 to 4 of the EVERMOS application get the best usability rating or 80. The lowest test score is an indicator of negative emotions, which is 2.00. The results that can be used as a comparison when repairing applications are found in module IV, namely the Intention to Use indicator which gets a value of 3.00. This shows that this application is less attractive among users to use it every day.

Abstract

Live Shopping is a new trend that combines e-commerce and social networking where the consumers who watch it can immediately buy with their smartphone just in one touch. Users who like to watch live shopping tend to have an interest in the products that are being offered in the live streaming. According to previous research, the live shopping strategy can increase user interest in buying products online regardless of distance and trading of goods. This phenomenon has been widely researched by experts before to explain what live shopping is, the technology that used to, or marketing strategies using live shopping, but there is not much literature that really leads to the emergence of buying interest in consumers through live shopping. For this reason, a Systematic Literature Review was conducted to review previous journals that discussed live shopping and purchase intention to determine the effect of using live shopping on consumer purchase intention in shopping online. The journal search process is carried out in several selection times and calculates Cohen's Kappa as a measure of the reliability of the journals found. The source of the journal search was carried out on ScienceDirect and the minimum year of the selected journal was 2011. The results obtained were 13 selected journals and after data extraction there were 51 factors that influence live shopping on purchase intention and 18 theories that can be used to identify the factors.

Abstract

Plagiarism is an academic violation that is quite serious so that the process of examining plagiarism is one of the prerequisites that must be carried out by academics in making a scientific paper including thesis. Advances in information technology make manual plagiarism checks increasingly difficult. Therefore, technological assistance that uses artificial intelligence is needed to be able to get comprehensive plagiarism analysis results. Turnitin is a software that uses artificial intelligence to detect plagiarism which is very popular and widely used by various institutions around the world. In the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya, there is a policy that regulates the use of Turnitin to examine student thesis where supervisors play an important role in this policy. Therefore, a study was conducted to analyze lecturers' perceptions of the policy of using turnitin to detect student thesis plagiarism using qualitative methods. In the data collection process, semi-structured interviews were conducted involving 7 thesis supervisors as resource persons. The qualitative data that has been obtained from the interview process is then processed using the thematic analysis method with the help of NVivo software. From the analysis process, two main themes were found, namely the theme of the lecturer's perception of the use of Turnitin with 5 categories and 15 codes and the theme of the lecturer's perception of the policy of using Turntin with 3 categories and 15 codes.

Abstract

PT Indokretek is a company engaged in the production of spice cigarettes which was established in 2008 and is located in Pagelaran District, Malang. The warehouse management process at PT Indokretek is still carried out by traditional bookkeeping, namely by recording incoming and outgoing goods in the warehouse inventory book. There is a risk of losing warehouse inventory data in the event of a work accident. In addition, people in charge are unable to access warehouse inventory information quickly, so delays in procuring goods are possible. Delays in procurement of goods could cause a negative impact on the company's production. Based on these problems, it would be very helpful if an information system could assist the warehouse management process at PT Indokretek. This software development process implements the Waterfall SDLC. A requirements analysis was conducted which resulted in 22 functional requirements and one non-functional requirement. The software is implemented with Lumen PHP framework for the server side app and Vue.js JavaScript framework for the client side app and in accordance to REST architecture. Software testing was conducted using the validation method, which resulted in all test cases matching the software requirements. Testing was also conducted using User Acceptance Testing which resulted in a user acceptance score of 90%.
