Abstract

Mathematical communication skills are very important for students. Therefore, this research aims to improve these abilities through the development of PBL-based mathematical comics on plane material. This research is Research and Development (R&D) type with the Borg and Gall model. The research was conducted at SDN 1 Soborejo and SDN 3 Tuksongo in the same cluster, and the subjects were class IV students. This comic learning media development project was validated by three experts in the fields of media, materials and language. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews, evaluation questions and documentation. This media is considered suitable to be applied as a learning medium because it has passed validation tests by experts with a score of 81% in the adequate category. In comparison, teacher responses reached 93%, and student responses reached 90% with very good qualifications. This PBL-based mathematics comic media has influence based on the results of the pretest and posttest in the large class test, which was tested using a Paired sample T-test. The results of the effectiveness test show a posttest significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted and shows that there is a significant influence in using this media to improve students' mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

This study aims to develop educational media using Augmented Reality (AR) through the Assemblr Edu platform to enhance students' mathematical problem-solving skills related to flat geometric at Gugus Tengku Umar Elementary School, Central Java Province. The research method used Research and Development (R&D), following the Borg & Gall model, has been applied and streamlined into seven strategic stages. With a purposive sampling technique, the research subjects included experts, teachers, and students. Data were gathered through interviews, observations, surveys, and assessments. The techniques used for data analysis included the qualitative descriptive study of observation and interview results and the quantitative descriptive study to assess product feasibility scores. The findings indicated that the developed learning media demonstrated a high feasibility level, receiving an average score of 91% from material experts, 90% from media experts, and 82% from language experts. In addition, there was an increase in students' math problem-solving ability with an N-Gain of 0.72, which showed the effectiveness of the media in learning. This research confirmed that the utilization of the Assemblr Edu platform in education can enhance engagement and make the learning experience more interactive and enjoyable

Abstract

Peran pembelajaran abad 21 dalam mewujudkan SDGs saat ini yaitu salah satunya dengan melaksanakan pembelajaran sesuai dengan perencanaan kurikulum merdeka yang berpusat pada peserta didik. Perencanaan tersebut memuat metode, media dan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan serta konten pembelajaran. Pembelajaran Abad 21 sendiri memiliki tujuan agar peserta didik memiliki kebebasan untuk berpikir dan berkreasi. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) terdiri atas 17 indikator salah satunya yaitu pendidikan berkualitas yang harus dicapai. Dalam dunia pendidikan tujuan SDGs adalah menjamin kualitas pendidikan dan memberikan kesempatan bagi semua anak untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran yang berkualitas serta memiliki potensi yang berkembang utuh untuk kemajuan masa hidup saat ini dan masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Pemerintah sekarang secara aktif mengupayakan pendidikan yang berkualitas tinggi. Dalam hal meningkatkan pendidikan, pemerintah bukanlah satu-satunya pemain. Bisnis, sekolah, dan masyarakat juga ikut berperan untuk membuat perubahan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan rangkuman tingkat tinggi tentang relevansi inisiatif untuk meningkatkan sistem pendidikan Indonesia, yang sering kali dianggap berkualitas rendah. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dan studi literatur. Survei literatur termasuk buku dan majalah menyediakan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penyebab rendahnya standar pendidikan di Indonesia dan apa yang harus dilakukan untuk meningkatkannya. Guru perlu mengambil bagian dalam program pengembangan profesional jika mereka ingin meningkatkan standar pembelajaran siswa dan mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang substansial. Dalam hal memenuhi tuntutan standar kualitas metode yang optimal, dinas pendidikan berperan dalam memberikan bimbingan, pengawasan, dan kepemimpinan.”

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah mengeksplorasi bagaimana pendidikan karakter dapat mendukung tercapainya Sustainable Development Goals, terutama dalam konteks mutu pendidikan di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam artikel ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif, menggunakan analisis deskriptif-kritis yang menekankan pada analisis data yang diperoleh melalui dari berbagai sumber tulisan buku dan tulisan-tulisan lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter merupakan aspek yang penting dalam meningkatkan keberhasilan pendidikan. Karena tantangan besar dalam sistem pendidikan menjadi faktor terbesar rendahnya mutu pendidikan di Indonesia. Maka perlu dilakukan usaha yang lebih aktif guna mengembangkan pendidikan karakter anak bangsa agar peran program SDGs dapat terlaksana dan tujuannya selaras dengan upaya pemerataan pendidikan, serta menjadi rujukan dan pendorong untuk lebih mendorong pendidikan karakter Warga Negara Indonesia.

Abstract

Era digital memunculkan berbagai bentuk kejahatan berbasis teknologi seperti scam, judi online, dan pinjaman online ilegal yang mengancam literasi hukum serta kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi hukum digital dan kewaspadaan terhadap praktik tersebut di Desa Tanjung, Kecamatan Nguter, Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Sosialisasi dilakukan melalui ceramah, diskusi, pamflet edukatif, dan simulasi kasus nyata. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran peserta terhadap bahaya kejahatan digital serta kemampuan mereka dalam melakukan pencegahan. Kegiatan ini berhasil memperkuat literasi hukum digital di tingkat lokal dan mendorong perlunya pendampingan lanjutan serta kolaborasi antarpihak terkait.

Abstract

The low interest and learning outcomes of class V students at SDN Pringsari 02 in mathematics subjects, especially in cube and block geometric material, is the main problem in the learning process. This is caused by the limited interactive learning media and conventional teaching approaches. This research aims to develop learning media based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) using Adobe Animate, as well as testing the feasibility and effectiveness of this media in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The research method used was the Borg and Gall Research and Development (R&D) model which was modified into eight stages. The test subjects consisted of 6 students (small scale) and 28 students (large scale). Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, as well as pretest and posttest. Expert validation results show that the media is very suitable for use (average suitability 90%). The effectiveness test showed a significant increase in learning outcomes through the t test (t-count = 11.877) and N-Gain of 0.557 (medium category). The conclusion of this research is that PBL-based Adobe Animate media is effective in improving student learning outcomes and interest. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of interactive animation media Adobe Animate with the PBL approach in elementary school level mathematics learning.

Abstract

The Kurikulum Merdeka is a curriculum innovation that provides freedom to schools, teachers, and students in creating a more adaptive, relevant, and meaningful learning experience as an effort to overcome the learning loss crisis after the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka in realizing quality education in elementary schools, with a focus on the impact and challenges that need to be overcome. The method used is a literature study by searching for relevant literature sources through Google Scholar. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka in elementary schools has great potential to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. The success of the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka is highly dependent on the availability of resources, infrastructure, the readiness of educators, and synergy between schools and other stakeholders. Optimizing the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka requires continuous support from the government in providing facilities, teacher training, and strengthening collaboration between schools, parents and the community.
