Abstract

Development and Effectiveness of UN-MATH Cards in Enhancing Problem-Solving Skills for Elementary School Students. Objectives: This research aims to develop a UNO media called UN-MATH (Uno Mathematics), which is used in game-based learning to help fourth-grade students improve their problem-solving skills in addition and subtraction materials. Methods: The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D). The research design applied is the ADDIE design, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection techniques used in this research consist of test and non-test techniques. Test techniques include pre-test and post-test, while non-test techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Findings: Based on the validation results by media experts, content experts, and language experts, the following results were obtained: the assessment from the media expert is 90% (very feasible), the content expert is 93.1% (very feasible), and the language expert is 92.8% (very feasible). The assessment from the three experts indicates that the UN-MATH card media is suitable for use. The data analysis techniques used in this study include normality tests, t-tests, and N-Gain tests. The results of the normality test show that the significance value (Sig.) > 0.05, which means the data is normally distributed. Based on the paired t-test results in the control class, a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 was obtained, indicating that the average post-test score increased compared to the pre-test score. Next, the N-Gain test results for the control class were 0.5630, which falls into the moderate and fairly effective category. The same thing happened in the experimental class, where the paired t-test results showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, which means the average post-test score increased compared to the pre-test. Additionally, the N-Gain test results for the experimental class were 0.7004, which falls into the moderate and fairly effective category.  Conclusion: Thus, based on the results of the data analysis, the UN-MATH card media has proven effective in mathematics learning to enhance problem-solving skills in addition and subtraction materials. Keywords: learning media, un-math cards, problem-solving skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan kurangnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dikarenakan rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis dan penalaran matematika siswa jenjang sekolah dasar. Penemuan ini memiliki tujuan meneliti pengaruh self-efficacy, minat belajar, dan kecemasan dalam matematika terhadap perkembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasi. Dengan total sampel 102 siswa, peserta penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas lima dari SD Gugus Ahmad Yani, di Kecamatan Tirtomoyo, Kabupaten Wonogiri. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dokumentasi, tes ujian, kuesioner, serta wawancara. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif, analisis uji prasyarat, analisis korelasi sederhana, analisis regresi sederhana, analisis korelasi berganda, analisis regresi berganda, uji signifikansi, dan uji koefisien determinasi. Dengan kontribusi sebesar 21,9% terhadap varians, hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari self-efficacy, minat belajar, dan kecemasan matematika secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa, yang ditandai oleh arah positif dan tingkat korelasi sedang. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa sangat dipengaruhi oleh minat belajar, self-efficacy, dan kecemasan matematika mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai pengembangan media pembelajaran dalam matematika yang berbasis video animasi untuk pokok bahasan luas dan keliling bangun datar untuk kelas IV. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja media video animasi tersebut adalah R&D dengan model yang dikemukakan oleh Borg & Gall dimana memiliki 10 alur, seperti menemukan potensi masalah yang terdapat di lokasi penelitian, pengumpulan data, mendesain produk, validasi desain, merevisi desain, ujicoba awal di kelas kecil, mervisi produk, ujicoba pemakaian, merevesi produk, serta yang terakhir adalah produksi masal dari produk tersebut. Dalam kelayakan validasi desain, hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 89,58%, serta ahli bahasa dan ahli media masing-masing sebesar 93,75%. Hasil yang diperoleh dari tanggapan peserta didik dan guru juga cukup tinggi, yaitu hasil tanggapan peserta didik sebesar 94,11% dan tanggapan guru kelas sebesar 97,05%. Hal ini juga didukung oleh hasil uji N-Gain sebesar 76,89% yang tergolong tinggi dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 100% setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan media yang dikembangkan. Maka, dapat diartikan bahwa pengembangan media ini layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan keefektifan dalam pembelajaran Matematika.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Habit of Mind, Mathematical Resilience, and Self-Confidence on the ability of fifth-grade students at SDN Gugus Gajah Mungkur, Gajah Mungkur District, Semarang City, to solve HOTS mathematics problems. Employing a quantitative approach with a correlational design, the research sample consists of 110 students, selected through proportional random sampling from a population of 136 students across five elementary schools within the Gajah Mungkur cluster. The research instruments include a mathematical reasoning ability test and a questionnaire to measure the independent variables. Data collection techniques involve tests and questionnaires, while data analysis employs descriptive analysis using Microsoft Excel 2016 and inferential analysis using statistical software such as SPSS. This includes conducting correlation tests, and regression tests, after verifying analysis requirements like normality, linearity, homoscedasticity, and autocorrelation. The results reveal a positive and significant relationship between Habit of Mind, Mathematical Resilience, and Self-Confidence, and the students' ability to solve HOTS Mathematics problems. Thus, this study highlights the importance of developing these three psychological aspects to enhance high-level mathematical problem-solving skills. Consequently, Habit of Mind, Mathematical Resilience, and Self-Confidence significantly contribute to improving students' abilities in solving HOTS Mathematics problems.

Abstract

Setiap peserta didik mempunyai pola pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang berbeda. Begitu pula pada proses pembelajaran di SDN Ngaliyan 02 Semarang, yang mempunyai profilling kerakteristik, gaya dan kebutuhan belajar yang berbeda- beda. Dengan adanya keragaman karakteristik peserta didik, mulai dari keragaman latar belakang, keragaaman kecerdasan hingga keragaman gaya belajar peserta didik, maka kegiatan pembelajaran harus dilaksanakan secara bervariasi serta berdiferensiasi dengan menyesuaikan kebutuhan belajar setiap peserta didik yang berbeda- beda. Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, kurikulum harus tetap dijadikan acuan dan pedoman utama dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar. Guru berperan besar dalam menentukan materi dan bahan ajar untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan dan pencapaian hasil kurikulum yang maksimal, namun dalam proses pelaksanaannya tetap harus menyesuaikan dengan kondisi peserta didik yang beragam.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media based on android applications, which can be used as a support for learning geometry material phase A Kurikulum Merdeka. The learning media created combines the concept of learning and practicing directly. Where through this media students can interact directly with the material. The achievements of this research: (1) Developing android-based learning media products that can be used as a means of supporting learning. (2) Knowing the process of developing android applications that are in accordance with the geometry material phase a independent curriculum. (3) Knowing the impact of the implementation of android-based geometry learning media on student learning outcomes. The test subjects in this study were second grade students of SD Negeri 2 Sokaraja. The model used in this research is the Plomp & Nieveen (2010) development model. The result of this research is an android-based learning media named as "shape safari". This media gets validation results from material experts with a percentage of 81%. Then get validation results from media experts of 73%. Then from the results of the trial on the research subjects, this media can improve the understanding of students as evidenced by the increase in the final results of students in the questionnaire. Where the use of this media is able to increase the value of the questionnaire from an average of 12 points to an average of 17 points.

Abstract

Konservasi dalam SDGs mengacu kepada poin no 6,7,13,14,15. Dari bebrapa refenrensi yang di peroleh di dapatkan bahwa pelaksanaan program pemerintah terkait dengan konservasi sudah banyak dilakukan, meskipun tidak sepenuhnya berjalan dengan baik, namun sudah bisa diupayakan. Isu yang menjadi sorotan untuk saat ini yaitu perubahan iklim, pemanasan bumi yang terjadi akhir-akhir ini menjadi PR untuk pemerintah Indonesia mengingat banyak sekali masyarakat pengguna kendaraan dan berdirinya pabrik besar di Indonsia. Selain itu flora fauna di Indonesia juga mulai terancam kepunahannya. Ketersediaan air bersih dan energi bersih yang mulai menipis, karena perubahan iklim mempengaruhi curah hujan di Indonesia, banyak masyarakat kekeringan, sehingga menghambat semua kegiatan yang membutuhkan air. Sedangkan di ekosistem laut terumbu karang mulai rusak dan tercemar limbah pabrik, ikan yang dikonsumsi menjadi tidak sehat karena limbah tersebut. Sehingga untuk mencapai negara yang dapat beradaptasi di kondisi ekstrem sekarang ini diperlukan kesadaran Masyarakat untuk melek konservasi.

Abstract

The current condition of the earth is carrying too much burden. There is a lot of environmental damage everywhere. This condition made many countries agree to resolve this environmental problem by agreeing on the 17 SDGs goals which were implemented on September 25 2015 at the UN forum in New York. Because environmental problems are our common problem, all levels of society are obliged to take a role. Educational institutions are no exception. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method which aims to be able to tell about phenomena or experiences that occur in a place so that we can draw conclusions from these phenomena. The results of this research show that the environmental conservation efforts carried out at Bendan Ngisor State Elementary School are very good for achieving the SDGs goals. The strategies used at Bendan Ngisor State Elementary School are: 1) grouping waste based on type; 2) implement the 3Rs; and 3) make eco enzymes from organic waste.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop Fukado media with Borg and Gall's development theory through 10 stages of development so that the developed media can be used to achieve learning objectives, namely improving student learning outcomes. The research subjects used 6th-grade students at SD Negeri Sadeng 01 Semarang City with 27 students. Augmented reality is one of the media that can help with learning. The development of this media is done by analyzing problems, designing media, media validated by experts, and testing on learning. The effectiveness of this learning media is seen with assessment instruments on validity, effectiveness, and practicality. Media development that has gone through various stages of development is declared successful with a level of validity of media, material, and language of 88%, 95%, and 91% respectively, The effectiveness of the media can be seen from the increase in learning outcomes in mathematics learning with the difference in the average student score reaching 15 from the original 61 to 76 obtained from trials with pretest and posttest.
