Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has made the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) essential for running Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially for mompreneurs in the fashion sector. This study aims to analyze the impact of social influence on ICT use behavior in mompreneurs who run MSMEs in the fashion sector in Bandung City. The research method used is a quantitative non-experimental approach involving 102 respondents who met the research criteria. The results of the data analysis show that social influence has a significant and positive effect on ICT use behavior. Furthermore, the comparison analysis shows that there is a significant difference in social influence based on the respondent’s level of education. This finding explains that social influences significantly affect use behavior, especially in using ICT for entrepreneurship among mompreneurs.

Abstract

The agricultural sector plays a vital role in Indonesia’s food security and economy, yet it often faces challenges such as limited resources, budget efficiency policies, and suboptimal employee performance. Within agricultural institutions, human resources are critical for the success of strategic programs, making it essential to examine how organizational climate and work engagement influence employee performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational climate on performance with work engagement as a mediator. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, the research involved 75 civil servants in agricultural institutions in West Java through a total sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires measuring organizational climate (LSOCQ), work engagement (UWES), and job performance (IWPQ), and analyzed with regression and mediation testing via Hayes PROCESS Macro. The findings indicate that organizational climate positively and significantly influences work engagement, work engagement significantly affects performance, and fully mediates the relationship between organizational climate and performance. Thus, the positive effect of organizational climate on performance occurs indirectly through work engagement. These results support the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) theory, positioning organizational climate as a crucial job resource that fosters vigor, dedication, and absorption, thereby enhancing employee performance. Practically, this study highlights the importance of creating a supportive organizational climate and strengthening work engagement strategies to improve productivity and food security in the agricultural sector.Sektor pertanian memiliki peran vital dalam ketahanan pangan dan perekonomian Indonesia, namun sering menghadapi tantangan berupa keterbatasan sumber daya, efisiensi anggaran, dan kinerja pegawai yang belum optimal. Dalam konteks instansi pertanian, kualitas sumber daya manusia menjadi salah satu aktor penentu keberhasilan program strategis, sehingga pemahaman mengenai peran iklim organisasi dan keterlibatan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pertaniaN enjadi penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan keterlibatan kerja sebagai mediator. Menggunakan desain kuantitatif cross-sectional, penelitian melibatkan 75 Pegawai Negeri Sipil pada instansi pertanian di Jawa Barat dengan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang mengukur iklim organisasi (LSOCQ), keterlibatan kerja (UWES), dan kinerja (IWPQ), lalu dianalisis menggunakan regresi dan uji mediasi Hayes PROCESS Macro. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklim organisasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keterlibatan kerja, keterlibatan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, serta keterlibatan kerja memediasi secara penuh hubungan iklim organisasi dan kinerja. Artinya, pengaruh positif iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja tidak langsung, melainkan melalui keterlibatan kerja. Temuan ini memperkuat teori Job Demands-Resources JD-R) yang menempatkan iklim organisasi sebagai job resource penting yang menumbuhkan vigor, dedication dan absorption sehingga meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian menekankan pentingnya menciptakan iklim organisasi yang kondusif dan strategi peningkatan keterlibatan kerja untuk mendukung produktivitas dan ketahanan pangan di sektor pertanian.

Abstract

The organization must cultivate job happiness for each employee to enhance the quality of its human resources. This research seeks to examine and evaluate job satisfaction as a determinant affecting the decision to resign among bank employees following a merger. The research employed qualitative methodologies through phenomenological study approaches. The research participants comprised three former bank employees aged 25 to 35, each with over three years of experience. The sampling strategy employed was purposeful, based on certain criteria, including experience in a merged bank and the decision to resign. Data collection was performed utilizing semi-structured in-depth interviews as the methodological instrument. The collected data were analyzed employing thematic analysis techniques to discern the principal themes associated with job satisfaction. The research findings reveal that key aspects influencing job satisfaction, including leadership, compensation, career advancement, and workload, have diminished following the merger. These circumstances compelled employees to choose resignation. This study concludes that job happiness significantly impacts employee decisions, particularly during organizational upheavals like mergers. This research suggests that organizations should prioritize employee job satisfaction to mitigate turnover and enhance human resource management successfully.

Abstract

Civil servants (PNS) are vulnerable to excessive digital use when doing their job in the COVID-19 pandemic situation, in fact it can have a negative impact on their well-being. Subjective well-being is very important to support the performance of civil servants to be optimal in the organization. However, studies that identify the relationship between the perceived digital overuse and the subjective well-being in civil servants have never been conducted in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview about the relationship between the perceived digital overuse in general and its dimensions on the subjective well-being in civil servants. The participants of this study were 143 active civil servants who had worked for more than one year in one of the West Java Government Offices. Convenience sampling technique was applied by taking the entire population based on the researcher's criteria carried out as a representative of civil servants who were prone to showing perceived digital overuse during the implementation of Work From Home. This study used a simple regression method which was measured by the Perceived Digital Overuse Questionnaire (Gui & Büchi, 2021) and subjective well-being was measured by using the Warwick–Edinburgh Mental Well-Being Scale (Stewart-Brown et al., 2011). The results show that there is a negative relationship between perceived digital overuse and subjective well-being in civil servants. The dimension of overconsume is the most influential so that it can be a predictor factor on subjective well-being.

Abstract

In this digital age, digital strategy skills are essential for business sustainability. Nevertheless, many micro-enterprises remain behind due to limited technological competence. This study aims to examine the influence of self-efficacy on the technology readiness of working mothers managing micro businesses in the fashion sector in Bandung City. A total of 114 respondents participated in this study through a paper-based survey using convenience sampling. The instruments used were the Self-Efficacy Scale by Venkatesh et al. (2003) and the Technology Readiness Index by Parasuraman (2000). Based on simple regression analysis, the results showed that self-efficacy did not significantly influence overall technology readiness (p = 0.311). However, there was a significant relationship between self-efficacy and the motivator aspect of technology readiness (p = 0.015). These findings suggest that individuals with higher self-efficacy tend to be more motivated to use technology. Furthermore, external factors such as access to digital tools and training also play an important role in preparing someone to use technology effectively.

Abstract

Pada kesempatan ini peneliti   tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian tentang komitmen  karyawan pada organisasi kemanusiaan  GF Foundation, yaitu organisasi yang menyalurkan donasi pada proyek kemanusiaan baik berskala nasional maupun internasional. Penelitian yang dilakukan bersifat deskriptif yaitu bertujuan ingin mengetahui seberapa tinggi komitmen yang dimiliki dari para karyawannya. Kemudian dilihat juga komitmen yang paling menonjol diantara tiga komitmen yang digali yaitu Afektif Komitmen, Kontinuitas Komitmen dan Normatif Komitmen. Sebanyak 31 personel yang merupakan karyawan tetap Golden Future  diambil datanya dengan mengisi kuesioner dan wawancara.  Dari data yang diperoleh terlihat bahwa Afektif Komitmen lebih menonjol dibandingkan yang lainnya, kemudian Normatif Komitmen dan Kontinuitas Komitmen. Begitu pula halnya berdasarkan jenis kelamin terlihat pula bahwa antara karyawan laki-laki dan perempuan kedua-keduanya memiliki Afektif Komitment yang sama-sama tinggi.

Abstract

MSMEs or Small, Micro and Medium Units are businesses owned by individuals that have an important role both on a national and international scale. This research aims to find out whether there is an influence from Psychological Capital on Entrepreneurial Performance among MSMEs in Jatinangor District. This study examines MSME actors in terms of their psychological capacity, namely Psychological Capital and the performance of MSME actors. The research design carried out is descriptive research with a quantitative non-experimental approach. This study used convenience sampling and was conducted on 145 MSME actors in Jatinangor sub-district using a questionnaire. The measuring instruments used were the Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ-24) and the Entrepreneurial Performance Questionnaire (EPQ). The data analysis method used is the simple linear regression measurement method. Based on the results of the study, Psychological Capital has a positive influence on Entrepreneurial Performance with a value of 53.2% to measure the contribution of the influence of Psychological Capital on Entrepreneurial Performance where this can also indicate that the higher the Psychological Capital of MSME entrepreneurs in Jatinangor sub-district, the higher the performance of the MSME folder.

Abstract

Transcendence in the workplace is an individual's sense of connectedness to colleagues and the larger community through the perception of work as a service for the common good that generates a sense of completeness and fulfillment. To analyze it, a measuring instrument is needed that can measure this. This study aims to adapt transcendence at work measuring instruments and test the psychometric properties to be tested on Muslim workers in Indonesia. This measuring instrument has been confirmed suitable for use in Hindu workers in India, but there have been no studies that test this measuring instrument on Muslim workers. The concept of transcendence which is quite attached to the teachings of Islam makes researchers interested in conducting this research. The transcendence at work measuring instrument developed by Khari and Sinha consists of 3 dimensions and 12 items that can measure transcendence in the workplace. The process of adapting measuring instruments refers to the International Test Commission. This study involved 200 Muslim workers in Indonesia. The reliability tests used are alpha Cronbach and CFA to measure construct validity. It was found that all items in the transcendence at work measuring instrument can measure transcendence in the workplace in Muslim workers in Indonesia.

Abstract

The worsening climate conditions in Indonesia has pushed numerous companies to transform themselves to become a green company that aims to preserve the environment through their daily operations. Through Social Exchange Theory, employee green behavior is found to increase employee self-satisfaction, which in turn will enhance their well-being. This research is done to examine the relationship between employee green behavior (EGB) and employee well-being (EWB) among one of green company employees. This quantitative, non-experimental research involved 104 employees from one of the green company. This research utilized the Employee Green Behavior questionnaire developed based on The Green Five Taxonomy to measure EGB, as well as the Employee Well-Being questionnaire to measure EWB. Both are self-report questionnaires. The results of this research indicate a significant positive relationship between employee green behavior (p=0.01, r=0.300) and employee well-being among employees. Additionally, the study also reveals significant differences in employee green behavior and employee well-being between gender groups. This suggests the need for more comprehensive research to further two related variables.Kondisi iklim yang kian memburuk telah direspon oleh berbagai macam perusahaan di Indonesia sebagai suatu panggilan untuk melakukan perubahan, yaitu dengan bertransformasi menjadi sebuah green company yang memang bertujuan melestarikan lingkungan melalui aktivitas operasionalnya sehari-hari. Melalui teori pertukaran sosial, perilaku ramah lingkungan ditemukan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan karyawan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui hubungan antara employee green behavior (EGB) dan employee well-being (EWB) pada karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif non-eksperimental dan melibatkan 104 salah satu perusahaan yang mengusung green company. Peneliti menggunakan alat ukur Employee Green Behavior yang dikembangkan berdasarkan The Green Five Taxonomy untuk mengukur EGB, serta alat ukur Employee Well-Being untuk mengukur EWB. Kedua penelitian bersifat self-report questionnaire. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara EGB (p=0,01, r=0,300) dengan EWB pada karyawan. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan adanya perbedaan EGB dan EWB yang signifikan antara kelompok jenis kelamin. Artinya, dibutuhkan adanya penelitian lebih komprehensif untuk melihat lebih dalam kedua variabel ini.
