Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on various aspects of people's lives, including the tourism sector. These strategies include diversifying sources of income by opening new businesses outside the tourism sector, utilizing digital technology for online marketing, more disciplined financial management, and utilizing social assistance from the government and community. In addition, improving skills and adapting to changes in consumer behavior are also key to maintaining family economic stability. Social solidarity through cooperatives or social gatherings also helps families deal with the economic crisis. With the strategies implemented, tourism business families are able to adapt and survive amidst the economic challenges caused by the pandemic. The results of this study can be a reference in developing policies and family empowerment programs to increase community economic resilience during the crisis.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: This study aims to provide a self-assessment of self-leadership among the Indonesian workforce, contributing to a deeper understanding of self-leadership at the individual level and supporting personal growth and development. Background Problems: As self-leadership increasingly becomes recognized as a key factor in organizational success, there is a need for an assessment tool adapted to the Indonesian context. This study addresses the gap by developing and validating an instrument that measures self-leadership's cognitive and behavioral processes, including behavioral, motivational, and constructive thought patterns. Novelty: This study pioneers the cultural adaptation and validation of a self-leadership assessment tool for the Indonesian workforce. By utilizing a validated self-assessment tool with theoretical and practical implications, this study promotes personal and organizational improvement. Research Methods: Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), with confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and reliability testing applied to evaluate the psychometric properties of the instrument. Finding/ Results: The instrument demonstrated a high level of reliability, with a Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of 0.933, indicating strong internal consistency. The CFA confirmed the factor structure, with factor loadings exceeding 0.3, affirming the construct validity of the tool. Conclusion: The Indonesian version of the Self-Leadership Questionnaire (SLQ) is a valid and reliable instrument for measuring self-leadership. This study offers a novel contribution by being the first to culturally adapt and validate a self-leadership measure for the Indonesian context and filling a gap in current leadership research.

Abstract

The digital transformation of MSMEs is crucial for Indonesia’s economic growth. Recognizing this, the government has initiated the UMKM Go Digital program to accelerate the digital transformation of MSMEs. However, many MSME entrepreneurs, particularly mothers (mompreneurs), face challenges in adopting technology for their businesses. These challenges may hinder their ability to fully adopt digital platforms, affecting their business performance and overall economic contribution. This study aims to analyze the relationship between performance expectancy and ICT adoption behavior in the Mompreneur Fashion MSME sector. This study was conducted on 125 mompreneurs in Bandung’s fashion MSME sector with a convenience sampling technique approach through a questionnaire.  The data was analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that Performance Expectancy has a positive and significant effect on ICT Adoption Behavior. The novelty of this research is its focus on mompreneurs, a group that has not been widely studied in the context of technology adoption for entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Police work is considered one of the professions most susceptible to stress. Sustained stress will cause burnout and negatively affect work and other aspects of an individual's life. Several problems, such as work-family conflicts, can also exacerbate this condition. This study aims to determine the role of psychological capital as a moderator of the effect of work-family conflict on burnout in Mobile Brigade Corps/Brimob members. The study used a quantitative design, with the research subjects being 117 Mobile Brigade Command members who are married and have children. The sampling method employed was random probability sampling, ensuring that each member of the target population had an equal chance of being selected. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires containing the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Services Survey, Work-Family Conflict Scale, and Psychological Capital Questionnaire. The analysis technique employed descriptive analysis and inferential analysis in the form of simple linear regression and interaction tests using the JASP application. This study hypothesizes that work-family conflict may significantly affect burnout, with psychological capital potentially serving as a moderating factor in the model. The findings of this study have important theoretical and practical implications. Theoretically, the study contributes to understanding burnout mechanisms within high-stress professions, particularly law enforcement. Practically, the results can inform policy and intervention strategies aimed at reducing burnout by strengthening psychological capital among Mobile Brigade Corps personnel.
