Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the foundation for advancing the nation’s economy. According to the mapping of MSMEs actors in Indonesia, 64.5% of total MSMEs were micro-scaled enterprises managed by women. Expanding women’s businesses positively impacts economic recovery; therefore, women’s empowerment must be appropriately implemented. This study aimed to obtain empirical data regarding women’s empowerment in the fashion sector of MSMEs in Bandung. This research used a quantitative non-experimental approach with convenience sampling and was conducted with 115 women entrepreneurs of MSMEs in the online and offline fashion sector in Bandung. The research results show that women entrepreneurs of MSMEs with good women’s empowerment can help themselves improve their performance in entrepreneurship to create progress for women’s MSMEs. Education is a very important factor for women to be more empowered. An annual omzet on a Microscale allows women to be empowered and direct themselves better because they feel more competent with the risks of small-scale businesses. Women entrepreneurs must retain and expand their women’s empowerment to realise their inner potential to enhance the performance and business they are now conducting.

The respondents were class XII students with a sample of 180 people. The theoretical concepts used in this study are the School Climate (NSCC, 2015) and the Career Decision-Making Difficulties (Gati et al., 1996). The research design used is a non-experimental approach using linear regression analysis methods. The data collection technique is through online and written questionnaires with stratified and cluster sampling techniques. The results showed a positively significant influence of the school climate on the difficulty of making career decisions by 15.2%. That is, the more positive the perspective of grade 12 Vocational High School students on the school climate, the lower the level of difficulty in making career decisions, and vice versa.

Abstract

Abstract

The industrial revolution has been the main driver in accelerating the use of technology. The use of technology in automation or data analytics has fundamentally changed the way of working, including at school. The research objective is to highlight the readiness of individuals to adopt new technologies, exploring the important role of psychological capital and technology readiness in this context. The main focus is on the influence of psychological capital, as well as technological readiness, on the likelihood of an individual adopting new technologies. The theories used as the basis of the research are psychological capital and technology readiness. The research was conducted on 403 teacher respondents in Indonesia using a nonprobability sampling method, namely quota sampling. Respondents were obtained by distributing online questionnaires. This research is non-experimental correlational research that is processed quantitatively. The measuring instrument used the Psychological Capital Questionnaire which has been adapted into 4 dimensions and 12 items and the Technology Readiness Index 2.0 which was adapted into 4 dimensions and 8 items. There is a positive correlational relationship between the two variables. An increase in psychological capital increases teachers' technology readiness scores, meaning teachers' positive psychological state can increase their propensity to adopt technology
