Abstract

Ciri khas dari organisasi Islam Al Washliyah adalah lembaga pendidikannya yang berorientasi pada tradisi keulamaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis revitalisasi kurikulum lembaga pendidikan Al Washliyah dalam melahirkan ulama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif lapangan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Al Washliyah secara khusus telah mendirikan lembaga Pendidikan Kader Ulama (PKU) yang dikelola oleh Fakultas Agama Islam UNIVA Medan. Kurikulum yang diterapkan adalah dengan tetap memelihara kurikulum pendidikan Al Washliyah dimasa lalu yang dominasi pelajaran agama ditambah dengan pelajaran umum sesuai dengan kurikulum pendidikan nasional yang berlaku. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah dengan mengkombinasikan metode moderen dan klasik (kitab kuning dan halaqah).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui metode bercerita dengan gambar Di TK IT Assyafiq. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Peningkatan kemampuan berbicara melalui Metode Bercerita dengan Gambar di TK IT Assyafiq dikategorikan baik. Setalah dilakukan observasi siklus I dan siklus II diperoleh hasil bahwa adanya peningkatan kemampuan berbicara dalam penerapan bercerita melalui Metode Bercerita dengan Gambar meningkat. Pada hasil observasi siklus I, sebanyak 10 orang anak yang memiliki kriteria Mulai berkembang (MB) dengan rata-rata presentase sebesar 35,3%, dan 2 orang anak yang memiliki kriteria Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH) dengan presentase rata-rata sebesar 52,7%. Dengan hasil observasi pada siklus I sebesar 38,2% dengan kriteria Mulai Berkembang (MB). Kemudian hasil observasi pada siklus II, sebanyak 8 orang anak yang memiliki kriteria Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH) dengan rata-rata presentase sebesar 67,1%, dan sebanyak 4 orang anak yang memiliki kriteria Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB) dengan rata- rata presentase 83,6%. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, selama proses pembelajaran, maka penerapan Metode Bercerita dengan Gambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara pada anak di TK IT Assyafiq, dengan jumlah rata-rata perolehan yaitu 72,6% dengan kriteria Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana kartun digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam membentuk akhlakul karimah anak usia dini. Studi ini dilaksanakan di TK Hatinia Barokah Desa Suka Ramai Kecamatan Kualuh Hulu Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Akhlakul karimah yang ditanamkan di TK Hatinia Barokah Desa Suka Rame, Kecamatan Kualuh Hulu, Labuhanbatu Utara adalah sikap religius, cinta lingkungan, cinta tanah air, jujur, peduli terhadap teman-teman, dan orang tua. Dalam pelaksanaan menanamkan sikap akhlakul karimah tersebut digunakan media dengan penayangan kartun Nussa dan Rara. Pemilihan media ini sangat tepat sebab mayoritas anak suka menonton dan menirukan apa yang mereka lihat. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa pembelajaran anak usia dini dengan menggunakan media kartun berhasil membentuk akhlakul karimah siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to highlight the concept of how steps should be taken to improve Islamic education. Using the literature study method, this research shows that the problems of Islamic education that occur today are in aspects of governance or management, the learning process, and the quality of graduates. Meanwhile, the efforts that must be made to solve these problems are equalizing points of view through deliberation, accommodating local wisdom as part of learning activities, and reorientation Islamic education based on experience and productivity.

Abstract

The potential of an educational institution to effectively respond to quickly evolving circumstances significantly influences its long-term viability. Consequently, the ability for educational institutions to adopt modern practices is critical. Al Washliyah, founded in 1930 in Medan, is one of the most sizable Islamic organizations and is credited with establishing numerous educational institutions. Consequently, the objective of this study is to investigate the effect and contribution of Al Washliyah, with a particular focus on the realm of education. Additionally, it seeks to identify the typology of modernization implemented by Al Washliyah educational institutions and to scrutinize the various facets of modernization undertaken by said institutions. For the purpose of accomplishing this objective, a historical lit review was conducted. The findings of this study indicate that the Al Washliyah educational institution has implemented a revitalization strategy, which entails preserving venerable old traditions while incorporating better-regarded innovations into the realm of educational advancement. The modernization of the Al Washliyah educational institution is evident in its human resources (HR), courses of study, institutions, and objectives.

Abstract

Character education in Indonesia is an important aspect of the education system, especially in shaping a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent but also has noble character. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the extracurricular curriculum in instilling character education at MIS Pasar Bilah, North Labuhanbatu. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method to explore the experiences and perceptions of teachers, students, and the principal regarding the extracurricular curriculum implemented at the school. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis technique, with triangulation and member checking as techniques to guarantee data validity. The results of the study indicate that the extracurricular curriculum at MIS Pasar Bilah, which includes scouting, sports, and religious activities, plays a significant role in instilling character values such as discipline, responsibility, and cooperation among students. However, the main challenges faced are limited time and students' motivation to actively participate. This study also found that support from the school, teacher commitment, and parental involvement are crucial for the successful implementation of the character education program. The implications of this research provide insights for the development of extracurricular curricula in madrasas, particularly in improving the effectiveness of extracurricular activities as a means of character education. This research is expected to serve as a reference for other schools in strengthening character education through extracurricular activities.

Abstract

Thinking is an activity that cannot be separated from humans, as well as being the most substantial differentiator between humans and other creatures. This study aimed to analyze thinking and problem-solving in Islamic education. From this research, it is hoped that a concept will be born that can be used to solve the problems of Islamic education. The focus of this study discusses the thought process, problem-solving and the factors that influence it as well as the steps of problem-solving. This focus will be fully directed in the context of Islamic education. This research uses literature study techniques using primary sources in the form of authoritative books and journals. The results of this study showed that in the context of Islamic education, it was well realized that there were many problems that cause the lagging of Islamic educational institutions. It was very important to think of the right way to get out of the problem immediately by using the right problem-solving principle. In addition, the managers of educational institutions must work together and seriously implement the principles of Islamic teachings as a solution to answer these problems.

Abstract

Abstrak:Sebagai bapak dari seluruh manusia, tentu kisah Nabi Adam sangat menarik untuk di bincangkan, banyak hikmah yang terselip disana. Mulai dari asal kejadiannya, proses pengajaran yang di berikan Allah secara langsung hingga Adam diberikan mandat untuk menjadi khalifah di bumi sampai akhirnya ia terusir dari surga oleh karena kelihaian setan dalam menggoda. Akan lebih menarik lagi jika kisah tersebut di kaitkan dengan pendidikan dan berbagai aspeknya. Tulisan ini akan lebih fokus membahas mengenai nilai-nilai pendidikan yang berkenaan dengan nilai sikap dan perilaku, nilai yang berkaitan dengan tujuan pendidikan dan nilai yang berkaitan dengan materi pendidikan serta nilai-nilai yang berkaitan dengan metode pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka terhadap beberapa kitab tafsir serta buku yang terkait dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung dalam kisah Nabi Adam As.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the character education curriculum at Raudhatul Athfal At Taufiq Salam Labuhanbatu Utara and its effectiveness in cultivating students' morality through early childhood education practices. Methodology: This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, documentation, and interviews with teachers and school administrators. The study focused on how character values were embedded in daily school activities, thematic learning, teacher modeling, and school culture. Supporting literature and relevant documents were also analyzed to validate findings. Main Findings: The findings revealed that character values such as religiosity, honesty, discipline, and social care were effectively instilled through an integrated approach. The main challenges included limited teacher understanding of character-based pedagogy, lack of synergy between school and parents, and inadequate facilities. Nonetheless, the character education practices at Raudhatul Athfal At Taufiq Salam contributed positively to students' moral development. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study contributes to the field of early childhood education by highlighting the contextual implementation of character education within an Islamic preschool setting. It emphasizes the integration of moral values into routine learning, offering insights into best practices and practical challenges faced by educators in rural Indonesian schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the regeneration of ulama in North Sumatra carried out by pesantren and Pendidikan Kader Ulama (PKU). This research uses the literature study method by collecting written sources in the form of authoritative books and journals. The theory used in this study is the theory put forward by Azyumardi Azra, that the function of pesantren in the past was the transmission and transfer of Islamic sciences, preserving Islamic traditions, and being a place to reproduce ulama. Currently, there seems to have been a shift towards the theory that pesantren can no longer be expected as a forum for cadre ulama, so the alternative solution is to establish an independent clerical cadre institution. The results of this study show that there is currently a scarcity of ulama. Many pesantren that once functioned as appropriate reproducing ulama can no longer be expected because they have been contaminated with the current of modernization. Pesantren can reformulate the curriculum as before and also it can develop Ma'had 'Aly. PKU is an alternative solution that can be used as an effort to regenerate ulama. Then, another important thing is that the mastery of the yellow book for prospective ulama must be strengthened because it is an absolute qualification for ulama. The real contributions from this research are to provide recommendations for pesantren to reinstate their original function, namely producing clerical cadres. Then, the efforts to regenerate ulama must be supported by Islamic mass organizations as a legacy of ulama which are also responsible for establishing clerical regeneration institutions.
