Abstract

Pacal Reservoir is located in Kedungsource Village, Temayang District, Bojonegoro Regency, which functions to dam water from the Kedung River, which is a tributary of the Bengawan Solo River. Sedimentation is one of the main problems that occur in reservoirs, which causes a decrease in the operational life of the reservoir. Changes in land use can affect the sedimentation of the Pacal reservoir. This is caused by factors such as erosion, transportation and sedimentation that occur on the land. Changes in land use can increase land erosion, which can then increase sedimentation in reservoirs. This research aims to determine the level of sedimentation and its effect on the useful life of the Pacal Reservoir. From the research results, several conclusions were drawn relating to the sedimentation rate value in Pacal Reservoir in the 2013-2022 period as follows: The volume of suspended load was 24217.74 tons/year; Bed load volume is 45205.50 m³/yr; then the total value of sediment inflow is 92025.99 tons/year; The total sediment spread is 0.98 mm/yr. From the results of sedimentation calculations, the estimated remaining useful life of Pacal Reservoir is 30 years.

Abstract

Negara Indonesia adalah sebuah wilayah rawan  bencana hidrometeorologi yaitu salah satu diantaranya adalah banjir. Kondisi morfologi dan banyaknya sungai yang mengalir di segala penjuru menyebabkan selalu terjadi banjir di beberapa wilayah di Indonesia pada setiap musim penghujan. Secara topografi wilayah Kota Kebumen merupakan daerah dataran rendah dan wilayah Desa Sumberadi, Tanahsari, dan Roworejo juga menjadi salah satu wilayah yang hampir setiap tahunnya mengalami bencana banjir. Dengan Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk membuat pemetaan daerah rawan banjir dengan pemanfaatan data spasial dan penginderaan jarak jauh dengan bantuan software Sistem Informasi Geografis, dan menghitung luasan daerah rawan banjir di wilayah penelitian. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan skoring dan pembobotan antara parameter-parameter yang menjadi faktor kerawanan banjir yaitu curah hujan, kemiringan lereng, jenis tanah, buffer sungai, dan tutupan lahan dalam bentuk data spasial. Setiap parameter akan dilakukan proses penilaian dengan pemberian bobot dan skor sesuai dengan pengklasifikasian masing-masing, dan kemudian dilakukan overlay menggunakan software SIG. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model spasial klasifikasi kerawanan banjir berbasis SIG melalui pendekatan skoring–pembobotan di Desa Sumberadi, Tanahsari, dan Roworejo, Kabupaten Kebumen. Model tersebut mengelompokkan wilayah ke dalam kategori sangat rawan seluas 175,3 ha (29%), rawan 188,5 ha (31%), dan tidak rawan 247,2 ha (40%). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa hasil penelitian tidak hanya berupa peta, tetapi juga berupa model klasifikasi kerawanan yang dapat mendukung mitigasi dan penanggulangan bencana banjir.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa pada pokok bahasan dimensi tiga dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe investigasi kelompok menggunakan metode resource based learning dengan media alat peraga miniatur bangun ruang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Batealit Jepara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode quasi eksperimen. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 75 siswa kelas XI AP yang terdiri dari 37 siswa kelompok eksperimen dan 38 siswa kelompok control. Data hasil belajar matematika diambil dari hasil test evaluasi. Indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan apabila apabila rata-rata kelas meningkat dari pratindakan, evaluasi I dan evaluasi II. The purpose of this study was to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes on the subject of three dimensions by applying the cooperative learning model group investigation type using resource-based learning methods with miniature props media. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Batealit Jepara. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method. The subjects of this study were 75 students of class XI AP consisting of 37 students in the experimental group and 38 students in the control group. Mathematics learning outcomes data taken from the results of the evaluation test. The success indicator is determined if the class average increases from pre-action, evaluation I and evaluation II.

Abstract

The use of recycled plastic waste as a binder for paving blocks has been reported in a number of previous studies. However, most of these studies focus on feasibility and do not clearly explain how different plastic types behave mechanically over time. In this study, the compressive strength performance of paving blocks made from polypropylene (PP), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) was experimentally compared using sand or fly ash as fillers. All mixtures were prepared with a fixed composition of 60% plastic and 40% aggregate. Compressive strength testing was carried out at 28 and 56 days using three specimens for each mix. The results show that the HDPE–sand mixture achieved the highest compressive strength at 28 days, reaching 15.7 MPa. Nevertheless, a noticeable reduction in strength was observed at 56 days, particularly in the HDPE-based mixtures. This reduction is mainly associated with polymer shrinkage and the development of interfacial stresses between the plastic binder and the aggregates. Overall, the results indicate that plastic-based paving blocks can meet the requirements of SNI 03–0691–1996 for light-duty applications, although their long-term mechanical stability remains a limitation that needs further attention.

Abstract

Daruttauhid Islamic Boarding School, located in Jepara, is located in a landslide-prone area due to its position at the foot of a steep cliff with a height of about 14 meters and only about 3 meters from the slope. On March 17, 2024, a landslide occurred which caused damage to several buildings inside the Islamic boarding school and increased the threat to the safety of students. This situation prompted the community service team from the Civil Engineering Study Program of UNISNU Jepara to carry out community service activities in the form of an initial design of a retaining wall. This initiative aims to provide technical solutions in addressing disaster risks and strengthening the institutional capacity of Islamic boarding schools in sustainable infrastructure planning. The implementation was carried out through a participatory approach, which included field surveys, slope stability analysis, geometric design of retaining walls, creation of engineering drawings, and dissemination of results to Islamic boarding school stakeholders. The outputs of this program include: technical design documents, scientific publications, media coverage, project implementation videos, and intellectual property rights registration. It is hoped that this program will reduce the potential for landslides, increase partners' understanding of the importance of retaining wall infrastructure, and support the roadmap of Nahdlatul Ulama Islamic University (UNISNU) Jepara for disaster mitigation, sustainable infrastructure, and the application of appropriate technology.
