Abstract

This research explores the impact of sustainable marketing strategies on corporate image and business profitability at The Body Shop Pekanbaru. Using a quantitative research design, this study used random sampling techniques to collect data from 250 consumers. The analysis used was structural equation modeling using SmartPLS to evaluate the relationship between variables. The findings indicate a significant positive correlation between the implementation of sustainable marketing strategies and corporate image, which in turn affects business profitability. However, the results show that customer satisfaction does not have a significant direct impact on profitability when mediated through sustainable marketing strategies. These insights suggest that while improving a company's image through sustainability efforts is critical to financial success, customer satisfaction alone cannot guarantee profitability without strategic integration with sustainability initiatives. This study highlights the importance of ethical branding and responsible practices in the beauty industry, offering implications for brands looking to align themselves with modern consumer values.

Abstract

Organizational restructuring for sustainability is increasingly recognized as a strategic imperative rather than a compliance-driven adjustment. This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA framework to analyze peer-reviewed research from Scopus, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect, focusing on publications between 2015 and 2025. The findings emphasize that organizational culture acts as a catalyst in sustainability transitions, influencing leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and the adaptability of structural changes. Companies that integrate environmental values into their corporate culture demonstrate higher success rates in implementing green strategies, while cultural resistance often impedes restructuring efforts. Leadership plays a crucial role in shaping sustainable practices by fostering ecological responsibility and guiding transformation processes. The study underscores the importance of aligning cultural frameworks with structural adaptations to ensure long-term sustainability success. Future research should focus on empirical validation, particularly in assessing the role of mid-level leadership in executing sustainability strategies.

Abstract

This study proposes an integrated pre-research framework using the Analytic Hierarchy Process AHP and Causal Loop Diagrams CLD to model strategic ESG-based competencies within the context of Islamic banking, grounded in the Resource-Based View RBV. As ESG considerations increasingly become critical to organizational performance and competitive advantage, especially for value-driven institutions such as Islamic banks, early-stage modeling is essential for identifying key resources and dynamic interactions. AHP is employed to prioritize critical competencies such as crisis response, ESG integration, and innovation based on expert judgment, while CLD is used to visualize feedback structures linking these competencies to sustainable competitive advantage and strategic business performance. The findings demonstrate how AHP and CLD can complement each other in refining theoretical frameworks by combining quantitative prioritization with qualitative system dynamics. This hybrid approach not only enhances conceptual clarity and model robustness but also serves as a diagnostic foundation before empirical validation. The framework offers significant implications for strategic planning in ESG-sensitive industries, contributing methodologically to RBV applications and practically to ESG adoption in Islamic banking.

Abstract

This study examines tax planning strategies employed by multinational corporations, focusing on the role of shell companies in tax havens and their impact on emerging markets. Using a systematic literature review approach, the research explores various tax planning techniques such as transfer pricing, profit shifting, and the utilization of international tax treaties to optimize tax liabilities. The findings indicate that these practices contribute to significant tax revenue losses in emerging economies, affecting fiscal stability and economic growth. Despite the implementation of international regulations such as the OECD’s Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) initiative to curb tax avoidance, multinational corporations continue to adapt with new strategies. This study recommends enhancing tax transparency, strengthening international cooperation, and reforming tax policies in emerging markets to mitigate the adverse effects of corporate tax avoidance.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effects of implementing the fractional reserve requirement banking system, its impact on the money multiplier, and the solutions offered by Sharia banking. The world community is starting to care about the dangers of the three pillars and their impact on the economy. Interest, fiat money, and fractional reserves are requirements in the banking system. This must be studied deeply to return the economy and monetary system to a usury-free system. This research uses a mixed method with a systematic literature review (SLR) method to identify, evaluate, and synthesize the findings of various studies regarding questions or research topics surrounding fractional reserves, their macroeconomic impact, and solutions from the perspective of Sharia banks. The quantitative approach is also used to support the counting of money multiplier effect. We suggest the consequence of requiring scheme and product development in Sharia banks, one of which is an investment banking scheme with a Mudharabah Muqayyadah product

Abstract

PKM Partners is Pondok Aren District in the Department of Cooperatives & UMKM located on Jl. Graha Raya Bintaro No.1, Parigi Baru, Tangerang, South Tangerang City, Banten 15228. Pondok Aren District is growing quite rapidly, with a population of around 294,996. This is directly proportional to the number of MSMEs reported based on the SKDU document of around 1,373. Currently, the government, through the Financial Services Authority (OJK), is calling on the public to continue to encourage the progress of the Sharia Financial Industry which has grown rapidly in the last five years both in terms of the number of players and sharia financial assets in banking, capital markets and IKNB [1]. In Indonesia, family entrepreneurship has begun to emerge and this can be seen from various franchise businesses such as fast food franchises, retail store franchises to service businesses and so on. With the problems above, the community service team held business plan outreach activities in creating family entrepreneurship. The development of family entrepreneurship can also support economic growth in countries such as the United States where 90 percent of the 15 million companies are family companies and have contributed 40% of the GNP of the United States, while with an understanding of Business Planning in developing family entrepreneurship, it can prevent disagreements and conflict occurs in the company, so that in the end it can reduce poverty levels and improve community welfare. Family economic problems can be overcome by carrying out various family-based entrepreneurial activities. Family-based entrepreneurship can be developed to reduce dependence on work from companies both government and private.
