Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the use of manure and furrow irrigation system on soil water availability and the growth of red chili plants (Capsicum annuum L.). In Indonesia, agricultural land often experiences problems such as soil degradation and water scarcity, which affect crop yields. Therefore, it is important to find solutions based on sustainable agriculture, such as the use of organic fertilizers and more efficient irrigation techniques. This research method is based on a review of previous studies, using a literature study approach. The data collected came from literature sources, through the process of reading, recording and organizing research materials. The data sources are taken from journals or articles that have existed before and books related to agriculture. The results showed that the application of manure and furrow irrigation significantly increased soil moisture and plant growth compared to the control treatment. This finding is in accordance with several previous studies, such as those conducted by Sitorus and Tyasmoro (2019), Dewi et al. (2020), and Arifin (2021).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) plants. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a direct observational approach, interviews with farmers and agricultural extension workers, and visual documentation of plant growth over four weeks. The results showed that pakcoy plants treated with liquid organic fertilizer experienced better vegetative growth, including increased plant height, more leaves, darker green leaf color, and higher yield compared to untreated plants. The fertilizer used contains essential macro and micronutrients and phytohormones that accelerate plant growth. Moreover, the use of this fertilizer improves soil conditions and supports sustainable agricultural practices. The study concludes that liquid organic fertilizer significantly contributes to increasing the productivity of pakcoy plants both ecologically and economically.

Abstract

Pembelajaran sistem saraf merupakan materi penting dalam kurikulum biologi untuk siswa kelas XI SMA. Namun, kompleksitas materi ini sering kali menjadi tantangan bagi siswa dalam memahami. Motivasi belajar siswa memainkan peran krusial dalam efektivitas pembelajaran, terutama pada materi yang abstrak dan kompleks seperti sistem saraf. Metode pembelajaran konvensional yang mengandalkan ceramah dan media statis seperti buku teks kurang menarik bagi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas penggunaan media video animasi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi sistem saraf. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis literatur yang mencakup artikel ilmiah, buku teks, dan sumber literatur terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video animasi mampu memvisualisasikan konsep-konsep kompleks dalam sistem saraf secara lebih mudah dipahami dan interaktif, sehingga meningkatkan minat dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Video animasi juga meningkatkan retensi informasi dan kemampuan aplikasi pengetahuan siswa. Penelitian ini mengintegrasikan berbagai teori pembelajaran seperti Teori Kognitif Multimedia, Teori Belajar Konstruktivis, dan Teori Motivasi Belajar, yang semuanya mendukung penggunaan video animasi sebagai alat pembelajaran yang efektif. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan media video animasi dalam pembelajaran sistem saraf secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang kompleks.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in science subjects and the implementation of learning process activities is still teacher-centered. This research aims to: (1) Describe the implementation of the learning process through the application of the Numbered Head Together type cooperative learning model. (2) Describe the learning outcomes of students in science subjects through the application of the Numbered Head Together type cooperative learning model. The research location is at SMP Negeri 1 Tuhemberua. The research subjects were 22 class VIII students consisting of 8 boys and 14 girls. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research which consists of 4 stages, namely: (1) Planning, (2) Action, (3) Observation, and (4) Reflection. The research instruments used were: (1) Observation sheet, (2) Test of student learning outcomes, (3) Interview guide sheet. Research results: (1) Implementation of science learning process activities through the implementation of the Numbered Head Together type cooperative learning model obtained an average reflection result in Cycle I namely 57,29% with poor criteria and in Cycle II namely 84,34% with good criteria. (2) The learning outcomes of students in science subjects through the application of the Numbered Head Together type cooperative learning model obtained an average value of learning outcomes in Cycle I namely 70,68 with sufficient criteria and in Cycle II namely 83,41 with good criteria. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA dan pelaksanaan kegiatan proses pembelajaran masih berpusat kepada guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together.  (2) Mendeskripsikan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together. Lokasi penelitian di SMP Negeri 1 Tuhemberua. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIII dengan jumlah 22 orang yang terdiri dari 8 orang laki-laki dan 14 orang perempuan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu: (1) Perencanaan, (2) Tindakan, (3) Observasi, dan (4) Refleksi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu: (1) Lembaran observasi, (2) Tes hasil belajar peserta didik, (3) Lembaran panduan wawancara. Hasil penelitian: (1) Pelaksanaan kegiatan proses pembelajaran IPA melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together diperoleh rata-rata hasil refleksi Siklus I yaitu 57,29% dengan kriteria kurang dan di Siklus II yaitu 84,34% dengan kriteria baik. (2) Hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar di Siklus I yaitu 70,68 dengan kriteria cukup dan di Siklus II yaitu 83,41 dengan kriteria baik.

Abstract

Ikan merupakan komoditas yang mudah rusak dengan umur simpan terbatas. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan metode pengawetan untuk menjaga kualitas ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh sistem pengawetan ikan terhadap kualitas dan cita rasa dagingnya. Metode yang dievaluasi meliputi pengeringan, pengalengan, pembekuan, dan pengawetan kimia. Setiap metode berpotensi memengaruhi atribut seperti tekstur, warna, dan rasa ikan. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa pembekuan merupakan metode optimal untuk menjaga mutu dan cita rasa ikan, diikuti dengan pengeringan. Sementara pengalengan dan pengawetan kimia perlu kehati-hatian karena berisiko menurunkan kualitas dan keamanan ikan. Pemilihan teknik pengawetan yang tepat sangat penting agar produk perikanan tetap berkualitas hingga ke tangan konsumen.

Abstract

The human nervous system is a learning material that includes a lot of abstract material that cannot be directly observed by students. With Augmented Reality (AR) technology, students can learn in person anytime and anywhere. The purpose of this study is to analyze the use of digital learning media in nervous system learning materials and find the right type of learning media to improve student learning outcomes and understanding of the material. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The data sources obtained from this study are primary data and secondary data, according to Sugiyono, the primary data comes from the literature journals that have been collected, and the secondary data comes from relevant book and website references. The first step is to collect data from various sources. For the purpose of this study, the data sources used came from 13 recent journals selected based on certain criteria, which had articles relevant to the research topic. Once the journal is collected, a journal summary is created that includes the name, type, title, year of publication, location, objectives, methods, and research results. The results of the descriptive analysis of national journals show that increasing students' interest and learning outcomes is influenced by learning nervous system material with digital media. Augmented Reality (AR) is the most effective learning medium to increase students' interest and learning outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of animated video-based learning media on human digestive system materials (understanding the impact and disorders of the digestive system) in junior high schools. The research method used is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. In this study, the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method was used, data collection in this study, using literature studies published in national journal articles that have been registered in electronic databases and indexed on google scholar. The data analysis process is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study are that through the media of animated videos, students can observe audio-visually the process of the human digestive system in the body more clearly and really. Animated videos have the advantage of attracting attention, providing aesthetic pleasure, supporting systematic learning, making it easier for students to understand, and can explain content that is difficult for students to understand. In this animated video, students can visually see how the shape of the organs in the body that play a role in the digestive process, from converting food into a source of energy to becoming feces that are ready to be excreted

Abstract

The inability of the learning process to reach a conducive level is due to the lack of attractiveness of the learning media used today, which has not been able to arouse students' interest optimally. This happens due to the lack of variety in the use of learning media. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The subject in the study is class VII students, while the object is the implementation of animated videos on the blood circulatory system material. The data collection techniques used include observation. The data analysis of this study was carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The result of this research is that the learning media in the form of animated videos that have been made has met the standards of content, design, and use of media in accordance with the set. This success is due to the fit between the material presented in the animated video and the basic skills, indicators, and learning objectives that have been set. In addition, the animations used are adjusted to the characteristics of the students. It is hoped that the compatibility between these indicators and learning objectives can help students understand the learning material better. Therefore, this learning medium is considered effective in supporting the learning process

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of visual learning method strategies for efficiency in the learning process of students in class X. The method used is literature study. This research is a type of research that collects data from literature. Data collection techniques through reference books, journals and websites. The initial step of this research is to first study the results of research regarding the role of visual learning in learning at school. Data collection through books, journals and websites. Data analysis was carried out using the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the use of visual media in biology learning with material on the respiratory system in class can help students understand and remember, with contributions from the teacher in explaining further about the respiratory system in learning. Thus, the learning process using visual media can help students learn and become a more effective and interactive learning strategy in improving student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of audio-visual learning media on Biology learning in junior high school. The method used is literature study by analyzing articles, books, and relevant literature sources. The data sources that will be used in this study are scientific articles, books, journals, research reports, and other literature sources that are relevant and related to the use of audio-visual learning media in biology learning. The data analysis method used in this study is literature analysis or systematic literature review. The results of the study show that the use of audio-visual learning media significantly improves students' understanding in learning Biology. This medium helps students better visualize complex biological concepts, such as fertilization and embryonic development. In addition, audio-visual learning media also increases student involvement in the learning process, making it more interactive. However, there are several challenges in the use of audio-visual learning media, such as limited access to technology in some schools and high multimedia content development costs. Therefore, it is recommended that schools improve their technological infrastructure and train teachers in the effective use of this medium. The implication of this study is that audio-visual learning media can be used effectively to improve students' understanding of complex biology materials
