Abstract

This study aims to analyze the process of strategic planning and the implementation of the School Development Plan (RPS/RKS) as a strategic management instrument in UPT SD Negeri 9 Tamalatea. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach to obtain an in-depth understanding of the planning process, stakeholder involvement, and the effectiveness of program implementation. Data were collected through interviews with the principal, teachers, and the school committee, complemented by observations, document analysis, and questionnaires. The results show that the RPS/RKS document has been well structured, aligning the school’s vision, mission, and goals with national education policies. However, the level of teacher participation in the planning process remains limited, and program implementation has not fully reflected the plans outlined in the document. Monitoring and evaluation activities are still conducted administratively without systematic performance indicators. The study concludes that the effectiveness of school strategic planning depends largely on participatory processes, managerial capacity, and continuous evaluation. Therefore, schools need to strengthen teacher involvement and establish a data-based evaluation system to ensure that the RPS/RKS serves as a dynamic tool for improving educational quality rather than merely fulfilling administrative requirements.

Abstract

Kurikulum memiliki peran strategis sebagai instrumen pembentukan karakter dan peradaban, khususnya pada jenjang sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis integrasi landasan filosofis, psikologis, sosiologis, dan kultural dalam implementasi kurikulum sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa di SD 16 Liangeng, Kabupaten Soppeng. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi kelas, analisis dokumen pembelajaran, diskusi kelompok siswa, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran telah mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Pancasila, pendekatan pembelajaran aktif, serta konteks kehidupan nyata peserta didik. Namun demikian, integrasi muatan lokal dan budaya belum dilakukan secara sistematis dalam seluruh perangkat pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penguatan integrasi landasan kurikulum secara holistik diperlukan agar kurikulum berfungsi optimal sebagai sarana pembentukan karakter dan peradaban peserta didik sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to develop project-based thematic teaching materials on the theme of Indonesian Cultural Diversity for fifth-grade elementary school students and assess their feasibility and effectiveness in learning. The development was carried out through the stages of needs analysis, material determination, script preparation, validation, revision, and limited trials. The needs analysis indicated that students require open-ended visual, interactive, and easy-to-understand materials. The resulting product is a mini-module containing cultural diversity material, discussion activities, word search projects, evaluation, and reflection. The results of teacher validation showed that the teaching materials are suitable for use with high scores in the aspects of material suitability, language, and activities, although visualization still needs to be strengthened. The trial showed that students understood the material well, were actively involved in group activities, and showed positive attitudes towards cultural diversity. Teacher and student feedback also confirmed that the open-ended materials are interesting, easy to use, and support the achievement of learning objectives. Overall, the teaching materials proved effective in improving conceptual understanding, learning motivation, and attitudes of respect for diversity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis praktik, tantangan, dan strategi penguatan pendidikan multikultural serta toleransi di SD Islam Pertiwi Nusantara. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, analisis dokumen, dan diskusi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah telah menerapkan nilai multikultural melalui pembiasaan 5S, keteladanan guru, interaksi sosial heterogen, serta kegiatan budaya yang melibatkan seluruh siswa tanpa membedakan agama, suku, maupun latar sosial. Nilai toleransi juga terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran tematik, Pendidikan Pancasila, pramuka, dan kegiatan keagamaan yang disesuaikan bagi siswa berbeda keyakinan. Tantangan yang ditemukan mencakup ejekan identitas antar siswa, keterbatasan layanan agama bagi siswa minoritas, serta belum adanya program multikultural yang terstruktur. Meski demikian, dukungan orang tua dan budaya sekolah yang inklusif memperkuat pembiasaan toleransi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan pendidikan multikultural memerlukan kebijakan sekolah yang sistematis, kolaborasi dengan orang tua, serta kompetensi guru dalam pedagogi inklusif untuk mewujudkan lingkungan belajar yang demokratis dan ramah keberagaman.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the national curriculum transition and the integration of global–local policies in primary schools. The research was conducted at SD As’Adiyah 4 Baru Impa-Impa using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, document analysis, and focus group discussions involving the school principal, lower-grade and upper-grade teachers, students, and parents. The findings show that the transition from the 2013 Curriculum to the Merdeka Curriculum has been implemented gradually through socialization, internal training, and adaptation of teaching devices. Project-based learning, particularly the Pancasila Student Profile Project (P5), has been applied and encourages student engagement, although teachers still face challenges related to collaboration, time management, and limited facilities. The integration of local content and digital literacy has begun, but remains at a basic level. Strengthening teacher capacity, stakeholder involvement, and school support systems is essential to ensure effective curriculum implementation and sustainable learning quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher professionalism, welfare, and professional development in primary schools. The research was conducted at SD As’Adiyah 4 Baru Impa-Impa using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, document analysis, and focus group discussions involving the principal, senior teachers, junior/honorary teachers, and administrative staff. The findings indicate that teacher professionalism has generally been well implemented, as reflected in strong collaboration, positive work ethics, and a supportive school environment. However, teacher welfare, particularly related to salary, certification, and professional allowances, has not been evenly distributed, especially for junior and honorary teachers. Professional development activities such as Teacher Working Groups (KKG) have contributed positively to improving teaching competence, although their implementation is still limited in frequency and participation. Strengthening certification programs, improving welfare policies, and expanding sustainable professional development are essential to enhance teacher motivation and the quality of learning in primary schools.

Abstract

The main problem in basic education is the inequality and injustice of access to education, which includes geographical, economic, and facility factors. This study aims to identify contemporary issues related to the equity of basic education at SDN 151 Inpres Kalampa, Takalar Regency. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results show that although accessibility is physically adequate, there are still gaps in digital facilities and the quality of human resources. Data from the school shows student literacy levels are still in the medium category and several students face distance barriers. This study recommends a more inclusive policy through digital infrastructure optimization and local government support for low-income families.

Abstract

This research documents the development of thematic teaching materials that integrate learning theories, Elementary School student characteristics, and local wisdom at SD Inpres 11 Konda, South Sorong Regency. This study aims to design contextual teaching materials to increase student motivation and understanding through the exploration of coastal ecosystems. The method used is an exploratory approach involving field observations, interviews, and needs analysis of existing teaching materials. The implementation results show that experiential learning is highly effective in helping students construct knowledge by linking abstract ecosystem concepts with environmental facts in their surroundings. Despite facing digital access constraints, the use of adaptive teaching materials successfully increased student engagement significantly. The conclusion of this project is that the integration of local wisdom into teaching materials can shift the learning paradigm from rote memorization to real action that fosters environmental awareness in students.

Abstract

The literacy and numeracy crisis remains a major challenge in Indonesian primary education, as reflected in the results of the National Assessment and various educational studies. This study aims to examine the actual condition of students’ literacy and numeracy skills, identify the root causes of existing problems, and formulate recommendations for strengthening a contextual and sustainable literacy and numeracy culture at SD Negeri 19 Baba, Takalar Regency. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through classroom observations, interviews with the principal, teachers, and parents, students’ literacy and numeracy assessments, document analysis, and student group discussions. The findings indicate that students’ literacy and numeracy skills are still at a level requiring improvement, particularly in reading comprehension and the application of numerical concepts in everyday contexts. The root causes include teacher-centered instructional practices, suboptimal use of learning media and reading corners, and inconsistent parental involvement. This study recommends strengthening literacy and numeracy through local-context-based learning, revitalizing reading corners and concrete learning media, implementing daily literacy and numeracy routines, and fostering sustainable collaboration between schools and parents.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka dirancang untuk mewujudkan pendidikan yang inklusif, fleksibel, dan relevan dengan tuntutan perkembangan zaman, sejalan dengan amanat Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional. Konsep Capaian Pembelajaran (CP), Tujuan Pembelajaran (TP), dan Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP) menjadi kerangka utama dalam perencanaan pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada pengembangan kompetensi peserta didik secara holistik. Namun, implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Sekolah Dasar masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, terutama dalam pemahaman dan integrasi CP, TP, dan ATP oleh guru, keterbatasan sarana prasarana, serta keberagaman karakteristik siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pembelajaran tematik terpadu dalam pengembangan ATP dan modul ajar kontekstual berbasis analisis capaian pembelajaran siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran tematik terpadu relevan untuk mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka karena mampu mengintegrasikan berbagai muatan pelajaran dalam satu tema yang kontekstual dan bermakna bagi siswa, khususnya di kelas awal. Namun demikian, guru masih memerlukan pendampingan dalam menyusun ATP yang adaptif terhadap kebutuhan dan keberagaman siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kapasitas guru dan pengembangan modul ajar kontekstual sebagai strategi untuk mengoptimalkan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Sekolah Dasar
