Abstract

The increasing importance of automation in aquaculture has led to the development of an Arduino Uno-based automated water quality control system for tilapia fish ponds. This research aims to monitor and maintain essential water quality parameters, including pH levels, dissolved oxygen (DO), and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), which are critical for the optimal growth of tilapia. The system utilizes TDS sensors, Arduino Uno microcontrollers, NodeMCU for data processing, and LCD monitors for real-time data display. The findings indicate that this system effectively identifies water quality issues, such as high ammonia levels or unstable pH, thereby facilitating timely interventions. By addressing water quality challenges, the system supports sustainable fish farming practices and enhances the productivity of tilapia aquaculture.

Abstract

Modern agriculture increasingly relies on technology to optimize efficiency and productivity. Temperature management plays a critical role in plant growth and yield, making it a key focus in agricultural innovation. This research explores the application of a DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor integrated with an Arduino Uno microcontroller to develop a temperature monitoring system in agricultural environments, specifically in greenhouses. The system collects real-time environmental data, such as temperature and humidity, and enables remote monitoring through a monitor inside a computer. By analyzing the collected data, farmers can implement automated responses, such as activating cooling or irrigation systems, to maintain optimal growing conditions. The research methodology involved hardware design, programming, data collection, analysis, and evaluation of the system. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the system in improving environmental monitoring and decision-making for resource optimization. This study highlights the potential into sustainable and efficient agricultural practices.

Abstract

This research develops an Arduino Uno-based automatic watering system for spinach plants, considering soil moisture and watering time. A soil moisture sensor detects soil conditions in real-time, while an RTC module sets the watering time automatically. The system is designed to turn on when the soil moisture falls below a certain threshold, ensuring the plants' water needs are met efficiently. The results showed improved water use efficiency, quality of plant growth, and reduced dependence on human labor. The system is expected to be an innovative solution to support sustainable agriculture through technological automation.

Abstract

As the transportation system continues to improve and competition between transportation modes increases, the number of public transport passengers will continue to increase, causing congestion. Congestion, both natural and human-induced, is a factor that greatly affects the efficiency of the transportation system. In this article, traffic flow on a highway often causes congestion due to the presence of passing vehicles, which can result in an increase in the number of vehicles using the highway, resulting in congestion. A poorly designed transportation system can cause vehicle queues on the highway. The vehicle congestion that occurs on the highway is not the congestion that occurs on the server, so the problem of vehicle congestion cannot be solved only by congestion theory methods. This shows that the system under study is a complex system. The complexity of the problem in modeling the system shows the need for a simulation model. This article presents a simulation model of a vehicle traffic system using an agent-based and object-oriented simulation model. The modeled vehicle can predict the movement steps of other vehicles whose trajectories intersect with the vehicle.

Abstract

PT KJI is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of car radiators. The quality of the products is the main focus to meet customer standards. The company faces a high Defect rate that exceeds the tolerance limit of 3%, affecting both process efficiency and customer satisfaction. This study aims to identify the root causes of product defects, calculate the sigma level, and design improvements to reduce the defect rate. The Six Sigma method with a DMAIC approach is used to analyse and control the quality of the production process, supported by the application of acceptance sampling based on AQL standards. The analysis covers the production process, inspection systems, and machine maintenance conditions. It was found that the lack of inspection on incoming materials and finished products, as well as irregular maintenance schedules, are the main factors contributing to the high defect rate. Proposed improvements include enhancing inspections of incoming and outgoing products according to AQL and implementing a more consistent machine maintenance schedule. After the implementation of the proposed improvements, there was a significant reduction in the number of Cacative products. The average sigma level increased from 3.8 to 4.7. This improvement had a positive impact on product quality, production process efficiency, and the reliability of the quality control system at PT KJI.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan metode kuantitatif dalam perencanaan dan pengendalian produksi paving block. Metode yang digunakan mencakup peramalan permintaan dengan Moving Average dan Exponential Smoothing, perencanaan produksi dengan Master Production Schedule (MPS), serta manajemen persediaan menggunakan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Data berupa simulasi permintaan dan biaya operasional dianalisis untuk menentukan strategi produksi dan persediaan yang efisien. Studi ini dilakukan di Desa Setia Asih yang merupakan salah satu sentra produksi paving block. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi perencanaan dan pengendalian persediaan yang tepat dapat meminimalkan biaya serta menjaga stabilitas rantai pasok.

Abstract

Kualitas produk mengacu pada keadaan fisik, fungsi, serta karakteristik suatu produk, baik barang maupun jasa, berdasarkan standar mutu yang diinginkan. Dalam rangka memenuhi dan memuaskan kebutuhan konsumen atau pelanggan, parameter kualitas meliputi daya tahan, keandalan, ketepatan, kemudahan pengoperasian, kemudahan reparasi produk, dan atribut produk lainnya. Informasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari sumber sekunder, yang merupakan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang didukung oleh kerangka teori. Penggunaan sablon merupakan proses manual yang dianggap sebagai metode pencetakan yang paling dasar. Sektor tekstil telah berkembang sebagian besar berkat kegunaan dan efisiensi dari jenis pencetakan ini.

Abstract

This research aims to help reduce defects and improve the production process for the better. The method used in the Quality Control Analysis of Donut production is the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method to ensure the level of product quality statistically, and by using a quantitative approach in the form of descriptive by collecting data through observation and interview techniques. Since the results of the data found did not exceed the threshold on the P control map with a centre line of 0.036, the results showed that the honey donut products were still within the statistical control limits. A number of variables, such as the influence of people, machines, and methods, have an impact on the cause of product failure. The recommended corrective action is to organise regular meetings to discuss improving the quality of honey donut products, which will be the main reason in determining the most important thing to improve the quality of production.

Abstract

Shopee is an e-shopping app that concentrates on marketplaces and e-commerce. One of the most popular online shopping apps in Southeast Asia. Aerostreet shoes is a local shoe brand founded by Adhitya Caesarico in Klaten in 2015 and is now the best-selling shoe brand on Shopee. The best-selling Aerostreet shoe products are due to the company often holding massive discounts on Shopee, which reduces product prices and increases sales. Most of the products sold at efficient prices are not always of high quality and cause customer dissatisfaction. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence between customer satisfaction, price and product quality of aerostreet shoes, a total of 39 respondents, aged 17 to 21 years, coming from various professions and having different judgments, were asked to participate in this study. Calculations using the SPSS application, the results of this study indicate that price and customer satisfaction have increased satisfaction in an upward manner while product quality and customer satisfaction have decreased satisfaction in a downward manner because consumers are more tempted by efficient prices than normal prices but guaranteed product quality.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk merapkan dan juga merancang suatu rangkaian yang memiliki fungsi dalam membuat keamanan pada pintu, dan teknologi yang dipakai untuk mengurangi adanya ketidakamanan pada pintu yaitu sensor Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) berbasis Arduino Uno yang digunakan untuk kunci pintu dalam membuka dan menutup. RFID digunakan sebagai penerima sinya gelombang radio frekuensi yang membawa data. Dalam sistem keamanan kunci pintu ini menggunakan Card RFID yang ditempelkan pada RFID Reader. Dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu berbentuk prototype kunci pintu yang menggunakan sensor RFID sehingga dapat berjalan tanpa adanya kesalahan. Sensor RFID mempunyai kemampuan bekerja dengan mendeteksi kode atau id dengan menggunakan card yang ditempelkan pada reader dengan jarak 3cm setelah itu reader akan mendeteksi card selama 5 detik.
