Abstract

Abstract: This research highlights the problem of applying Charta Mediato improve students' concept understanding on the material of governmentsystem in fourth grade at Public Elementary School 02MenukungAcademic Year 2012/2013. The type of research used wasClassroom Action Research. The subjects of the study are the fourth gradestudents of Public Elementary School 02 Menukung in the even semesterof the Academic Year 2012/2013 Sub District Menukung, MelawiRegency, which amounted to 22 people, consisting of 9 women and 13men. Data collection techniques were conducted using observation andtest techniques. The average test scores achieved by students on the precycle is 55.45, while on the first cycle it reached 65.45 and achieved78.18 on the second cycle. To conclude, the student learning resultshowed an increase from cycle I to cycle II. The implementation of RPPon cycle I with average percentage of implementation that includes 3activities (preliminary, core, closing) is equal to 68,42%. The details arepreliminary activity of 68.75%, and the core of 66.67% whiletheclosingof 75.00%. This figure increased on cycle II, with the averagepercentage of learning implementation rose to 80.55%, with details of75.00% in preliminary activities, 80.00% in core and 100.00% inclosing.Keywords: conceptual understanding, media chartaAbstrak: Penelitian ini menyoroti masalah penerapan media charta untukmeningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi sistem pemerintahandi kelas IV SDN 02 Menukung Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Jenispenelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalahsiswa kelas IV SDN 02 Menukung semester genap Tahun Pelajaran2012/2013 Kecamatan Menukung Kabupaten Melawi, yang berjumlah 22orang, terdiri 9 perempuan dan 13 laki-laki. Teknik pengumpulan datadilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi dan tes. Rata-rata skortes yang diperoleh siswa pada pra siklus sebesar 55,45, siklus I sebesar65,45 sedangkan pada siklus II sebesar 78,18. Ini berarti dari siklus I kesiklus II hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan. Keterlaksanaan RPPpada siklus I rata-rata persentase pelaksaanaan yang meliputi 3 kegiatan(pendahuluan, inti, penutup) adalah sebesar 68,42%. Rinciannya adalah kegiatan pendahuluan terlaksana sebesar 68,75%, inti 66,67% danpenutup 75,00%. Angka ini meningkat pada siklus II, rata-rata persentasepelaksanaan pembelajaran naik menjadi 80,55%, dengan rincian kegiatanpendahuluan 75,00%, inti 80,00% dan penutup 100,00%.Kata kunci: pemahaman konsep, media charta

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of this research are to find out the student learning interest through measurement activity by using the available stones in surrounding, to acknowledge the understanding of measurement concept in mathematic, and also to find out the interest of learning mathematic after doing the the measurement activity in surrounding. This research is using the method of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of the research are all the 15 male students of grade 5 at Public Elementary School Number 18 Tanjung Sari. The conclusion of this research are: (1) there is improvement of learning interest on the mathematic subject over the grade 5 students after doing the stone measurement activity, (2) the study result of the students is increase after doing the stone measurement activity. Key Words: Learning Interest over Math Subject, Understanding Concept, The Stone Learning in Nearest EnvironmentAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya minat belajar siswa melalui kegiatan pengukuran menggunakan batu-batuan di lingkungaan sekitar, untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep pengukur dalam matematika, dan minat belajar matematika setelah melakukan kegiatan mengukur batu-batuan di lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) atau dikenal dengan Classroom Action Research (CAR). Subyek yang digunakan adalah seluruh siswa putra kelas V SDN No. 18 Tanjung Sari sebanyak 15 siswa. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) terdapat peningkatan pada minat belajar matematika pada siswa kelas V A setelah melalui kegiatan mengukur volume batuan, (2) terdapat peningkatan pada hasil belajar matematika pada siswa, setelah melakukan kegiatan pengukuran menggunakan batu-batuan di lingkungan sekitar.Kata Kunci: Minat Belajar Matematika, Pemahaman Konsep, Pembelajaran Batu-Batuan di Lingkungan Sekitar.

Abstract

Abstract: The effect style leadership of the chairman school and achievement motivation toward educational services in senior high school (SMA) at Sub-District Nanga Pinoh, Melawi West Kalimantan. Thesis Magister of education administration at Postgraduate of Muhammadiyah University Prof. DR. HAMKA. Jakarta. 2010. Hypothesis of this research which examined as follwing: (1) there is a direct effect positive toward the style leadership of the chairman school to educational services (2) there is a direct effect positive achievement of motivation teacher toward the educational services (3) there is a direct positive to the style leadership of the chairman school toward the achievement of motivation teacher. The result of this research concluded: first, there is a direct and significant of the style leadership of the chairman school (X1) to educational services (X3) with regression was seen X3 = 60,7099 + 0,2216X1, determination coefficient 0,2497 or 24,97%, and correlatation coefficient (r13) on ? = 0,05 second, there is a direct influence and significant achievement of motivation teacher (X2) to educational services (X3) with the equality regression is seen 3 = 12478,1073 + 0,529 X2 determination coefficient 0,23338 or 23,338%, and coefficiant of correlatation (r23) 0,4831 on ? = 0,05, third, there is a direct influence and significient of style leadership of the chairman school (X1) to achievement motivation (X2) with regression is see 2 = 12478,1073 + 0,529X1, determination correction 0,9920 or 99,20% and correlation coefficient (r12) o,996 on ? = 0,05.Key Word: style leadership of the chairman school, achievement motivation, educational servicesAbstrak: Instrumen yang digunakan untuk menjaring data variabel gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, motivasi berprestasi guru dan layanan pendidikan adalah angket model skala likert. Ebelum dilakukan penelitian dilakukan uji coba instrumen terhadap 30 orang guru. Keterandalan instrumen dihitung dengan metode alpha cronbach, dengan hasil uji coba untuk variable tersebut yaitu (a) layanan pendidikan telah diperoleh nilai reliability r= 0,827, (b) gaya kepemimpinan kepala Sekolah memiliki nilai reliabilitas r= 0,924 dan Motivasi Berprestasi Guru memiliki nilai reliabilitas r= 0,917 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa seluruh instrument dinyatakan sangat reliable, kemudian data di analisis dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi dan regresi. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: pertama, terdapat pengaruh langsung dan signifikan Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah (X1) Terdapat Layanan Pendidikan (X3) dengan persamaan regresi terlihat 3 = 60,7099 + 0,2216X1, koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,2497 atau 24,97%, dan koefisien korelasi (r13) sebesar 0,499 pada taraf ? = 0,05, kedua terdapat pengaruh langsung dan signifikan Motivasi Berprestasi Guru (X2) Terhadap Layanan Pendidikan (X3) dengan persamaan regresi terlihat 3 = 12478,1073 + 0,529X2, koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,23338 atau 23,338%, dan koefisien korelasi (r23) sebesar 0,4831 pada taraf ? = 0,05, ketiga terdapat pengaruh langsung dan signifikan Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah (X1) terhadap Motivasi Berprestasi Guru (X2) dengan persamaan regresi terlihat 2 = 14,006 + 0,632X1 koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,9920 atau 99,20% dan koefisien korelasi (r12) sebesar 0,996 pada taraf ? = 0,05.Kata Kunci: gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, motivasi berprestasi guru, layanan pendidikan

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this Class Action Research was to motivate the student in learning Social Science subject by using cooperative learning method type Think Pair Share (TPS) in grade VI of Public Elementary School Number 17 Laman Tanjung, academic year 2014/ 2015. This research was done in 2 cycles. The research shown there was increasing of student motivation from 23,5% in the first cycle and 94.11% in the second cycle, or in another word it can be said that the increasing of student motivation was 70.59% with the qualification was Good. In addition, the quality of learning process also increased from 71.67% in first cycle and 87.5% in the second cycle. From the first cycle to the second cycle increased by 15,83%.Keywords: study motivation, cooperative learning type TPS , social science subject.Abstrak: Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk melihat peningkatan motivasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) dengan penggunaan metode cooperative learning tipe Think Paire Share (TPS) pada siswa kelas VI SDN 17 Laman Tanjung tahun pelajaran 2014/ 2015. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat peningkatan 23,5% pada siklus I dan ditutup dengan nilai 94,11% pada siklus II yang menjadi nilai akhir dari rangkaian kegiatan penelitian. Jadi, peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 70,59% di kualifikasi baik. Kemudian untuk kualitas pembelajaran, pada siklus I peneliti memperoleh persentase sebesar 71,67%, pada siklus II peneliti memperoleh persentase sebesar 87,5%. Dari siklus I ke siklus II peningkatan kegiatan guru sebesar 15,83%.Kata kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Cooperative learning Tipe TPS, Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial.

Abstract

Abstract Juvenile delinquency is not a new thing in the social life of society, but juvenile delinquency cases are still interesting to be discussed anytime and anywhere. Juvenile delinquency is a form of self-actualization of a child out of the rules or norms that apply in the family and society in their social environment. The juvenile delinquency paradigm is broader in scope and deeper in content. Juvenile delinquency includes actions that often cause unrest in the community, school and family environment. The city of Blitar is also known as the little kutha kang kawentar. The students at MTsN Kepanjenkidul in Blitar City are all Muslim, but they have not fully implemented the attitudes and examples that have been applied in schools. This research method uses a qualitative approach. This primary data was obtained through interviews and field observations. Furthermore, secondary data obtained from primary data. In this study, the researcher acts as an instrument as well as a data collector. The procedure used in data collection, namely in-depth interviews. The interviews conducted were unstructured and open-ended interviews using interview guidelines that had been compiled. Researchers used non-formal visits to informants' homes. Thus the data obtained are in accordance with the answers and information desired, both by informants and researchers during the interview process. The results of the study indicate the importance of improving the quality of parent-child communication because juvenile delinquency is closely related to the family, one of which is the quality of the relationship with parents. High quality relationships can be seen from warmth, acceptance, and protection. Quality relationships not only inhibit problem behavior, but also reduce the incidence of anxiety, depression, and psychological stress. This is in accordance with Bandura which states that the quality of communication between parents and children with problems has a very large impact on one's behavior because one can learn everything from the observations of others (observational learning). Abstract

The formation of a learning experience is a provision to become a professional teaching candidate. The purpose of this study is to discriminate between student preparation and student stabilization in the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) in implementing the MBKM Intern Education Program to maximize student experience strengthening programs. This research is descriptive qualitative. Subjects of this study were students of the STKIP Melawi PGSD Study Program, MBKM Educational Internship Participants. This research instrument uses Interview Sheets and Questionnaire Sheets. Data Analysis Using Data Triangulation. The results of the study show that the MBKM Internship Education program has a significant impact by optimizing several preparations that must be carried out. the results of the interviews show that the internship program can foster students' ability to train professionalism in teaching practice. This was corroborated by the results of the questionnaire showing the satisfaction and implementation of the MBKM educational internship program by students participating in educational internships. The conclusion is that strengthening teaching practice safeguards by training professionals in teaching helps in the readiness and stabilization of teaching in the classroom through the Optimization of the MBKM Educational Internship Program.

Abstract

Abstract: Education is a conscious effort in fostering and developing the human person both spiritually and physically. Some expert opinions define education as a kind of process for humans to change the attitudes and behaviour of an individual or group of people. The purpose of instilling value education to STKIP Melawi students is very important in shaping the personality of STKIP Melawi students, because humans have perfection and intelligence in thinking and acting (affective intelligence emotionally, socially, and spiritually). This research uses a qualitative method that is intended to describe and analyse phenomena, events, social activities, attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, thoughts of people individually or in groups in the environment of STKIP Melawi campus students. The results of the study concluded that there are three activities in the classroom that can improve the attitude of social care, namely through honesty, courtesy, and mutual respect for fellow students. In the attitude of caring students need to get used to the "5 S" namely smile, greeting, greeting, polite, and polite which has been applied in the campus environment.Keywords: Social Education Values, fostering social care. Abstrak: Pendidikan adalah usaha sadar dalam membina dan menumbuh kembangkan pribadi manusia baik itu rohani dan jasmaninya. Beberapa pendapat ahli mengartikan Pendidikan adalah semacam proses bagi manusia untuk mengubah sikap dan tingkah laku seorang individu maupun kelompok manusia. Tujuan Penanaman Pendidikan nilai kepada mahasiswa STKIP Melawi menjadi sangat penting sekali dalam membentuk sebuah kepribadian mahasiswa STKIP Melawi, karena manusia memiliki kesempurnaan dan kecerdasan dalam berpikir dan bertindak (kecerdasaan afektif secara emosional, sosial, maupun spiritual). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang ditunjukan untuk mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis fenomena, peristiwa, aktivitas sosial, sikap, kepercayaan, persepsi, pemikiran orang secara individual maupun kelompok di lingkungan mahasiswa kampus STKIP Melawi. Hasil penelitian meyimpulkan ada tiga kegiatan dalam kelas yang dapat meningkatkan sikap peduli sosial yaitu melalui kejujuran, sopan santun, dan saling menghargai sesama mahasiswa. Dalam sikap kepedulian mahasiswa perlu membiasankan dengan “5 S” yaitu senyum, sapa, salam, sopan, dan santun yang telah diterapkan di lingkungan kampus.Kata Kunci: Nilai Pendidikan Sosial, menumbuhkan kepedulian sosial.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the local wisdom values embedded in the folk stories of Melawi Regency's community and how these values can contribute to strengthening the national character education for students of the Primary School Teacher Education Program (PGSD) at the Teachers College of Melawi (STKIP Melawi). The research methodology employed is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research sample encompasses traditional community stories that are still preserved by the people of Melawi Regency. The gathered data is analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify the local wisdom values present in the stories. The findings reveal that the folk stories of Melawi Regency's community contain various local wisdom values, such as moral values, ethics, solidarity, honesty, and respect for nature and fellow human beings. These values hold significant potential for reinforcing the national character education for PGSD students at STKIP Melawi. The integration of local wisdom values into the PGSD curriculum can be achieved through the development of learning modules, extracurricular activities, and field experiences that allow students to delve into and practice these values in their daily lives. Thus, PGSD students will be able to become agents of change who are capable of embodying and teaching local wisdom values to the younger generation through formal education in primary schools

Abstract

The purpose of this study described critically in several aspects of Paulo Freire's critical pedagogy and its contribution to educational transformation. This study uses a qualitative approach with the literature study method, namely the data collection method by understanding and studying the theory of various literature related to research. This research is based on critical interpretation. This illustrates several aspects of Paulo Freire's book, The Pedagogy of the Oppressed. In addition, several other related sources are also considered as a basis. This research is based on the concept of several key terms, to draw conclusions based on several important Freire messages. The results showed that, (1) Provides a background in critical thinking, the theoretical basis of Freire's critical pedagogy, and his life experience. Freire's critical thinking about the "bank style" education system, which hinders the development of students' creative thinking. This includes the role of oppression and dehumanization of the traditional education system and "bank style", dialogue and awareness, the implementation of education raises problems, praxis as an election in situations, the role of political and cultural factors in changes in education. (2), based on Freire's critical pedagogy, there is a critical interpretation of the current school system education process, practicing teaching strategies based on freedom, curriculum planning, and the possibility of transformation become the role of teachers and students. Therefore, to prepare citizens based on freedom and humanity, it is necessary for students to have a critical pedagogical method that can move forward by building relationships between students and their environment. This requires collaborative and interactive policies and teaching. It is hoped that this research will provide some encouragement for the transformation of the current state of education.

Abstract

Kearifan lokal dalam konteks penelitian ini tidak hanya terbatas pada kearifan budaya lokal, melainkan segala pengetahuan yang terdapat di lingkungan, termasuk nilai-nilai politik yang menjadi pedoman pembentukan karakter, sikap, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Oleh karena itu, dapat dijadikan  pedoman pengembangan kepribadian, sikap ilmiah, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri yang terintegrasi dengan kearifan lokal untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra eksperimen dengan tidak ada kelas control sebagai eksperimen, dengan menggunakan desain one group pretest dan post-test yaitu O1 X O2. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa kelas IV SD 1 Piji. Tes berpikir kritis terdiri dari 6 tahapan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir siswa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis kearifan lokal berbeda secara signifikan (p<0,05). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran ijnkuiri berbasis kearifan lokal efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, meskipun rata-rata peningkatan pada setiap indikatornya tergolong sedang. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk penelitian selanjutnya perlu dibangun model survei yang mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal.
