Abstract

In the digital transformation era, the effective management of government archives is essential for ensuring administrative efficiency, transparency, and data security. The traditional manual archiving systems present significant limitations, including difficulty in document retrieval, risk of data loss, and inefficiencies in storage and management. To address these issues, the Indonesian government has implemented the SRIKANDI (Integrated Dynamic Archival Information System) application, which aims to provide a comprehensive, digital approach to document management. This study analyzes the implementation of the SRIKANDI system within the Department of Communication, Informatics, Statistics, and Encryption of Banten Province, focusing on its effectiveness, challenges, and policy implications. Employing a qualitative research design, the study utilized Thematic Analysis as its primary method, gathering data through interviews, direct observation, and document reviews. The research identified key themes including improved efficiency in archival digitization, enhanced document security and accessibility, integration and interoperability challenges, and the critical need for technical training. Findings indicate that while SRIKANDI has substantially improved document retrieval, reduced the risk of data loss, and promoted accountability through digital traceability, its implementation is hindered by inadequate infrastructure, insufficient user training, and limited system integration. Many users lack the digital literacy necessary to fully utilize the system, resulting in underuse of advanced features. Moreover, compatibility issues with existing systems lead to redundant data entry and inconsistencies. In conclusion, while SRIKANDI presents significant benefits in modernizing archival practices, its success depends on comprehensive training, improved infrastructure, and strengthened cross-agency interoperability to create a more unified and efficient digital government ecosystem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi berbasis web yang dapat mempermudah proses pelayanan restorasi sofa di Aswadi Jaya Sofa, Jakarta Barat. Sistem manual yang digunakan saat ini dinilai kurang efisien dalam hal pendaftaran pelanggan, penjadwalan survei, estimasi biaya, dan pelacakan status layanan. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan kualitas pelayanan jasa restorasi sofa melalui digitalisasi proses bisnis dalam menghadapi tantangan digitalisasi di bidang penjualan.

Abstract

Gor Hidayah Cikande menghadapi tantangan dalam sistem pemesanan lapangan bulu tangkis yang masih dilakukan secara manual, di mana pelanggan harus datang langsung atau menghubungi melalui telepon/SMS. Pencatatan transaksi dilakukan dalam buku tulis, sehingga prosesnya rentan terhadap kesalahan dan kurang efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem informasi berbasis web guna meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, kemudahan bagi pelanggan, serta meminimalkan kesalahan akibat proses manual. Sistem ini juga diharapkan dapat membantu administrator dalam mengelola data transaksi dan jadwal lapangan secara lebih efektif. Proses pengembangan menggunakan model Waterfall dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Sistem dirancang menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML), dengan basis data MySQL Server, dan diimplementasikan menggunakan framework CodeIgniter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi pemesanan lapangan bulu tangkis yang dikembangkan untuk Gor Hidayah Cikande menggunakan CodeIgniter berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mempermudah pelanggan dalam melakukan pemesanan dan pembayaran secara online, serta memberikan akses terhadap jadwal lapangan yang tersedia. Selain itu, sistem ini membantu administrator dalam mengelola transaksi dan jadwal dengan lebih efektif, sehingga berkontribusi positif terhadap kualitas layanan secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

In the digital era, many people require photography services for various needs, such as family events, business purposes, or personal use. However, the manual method of booking a photo studio is considered impractical because it requires visiting the studio in person or engaging in back-and-forth communication, which is time-consuming. This study aims to design a web-based photo studio booking system to simplify the process for customers in selecting services, checking schedules, and placing bookings independently. The system is also equipped with a digital gallery and a studio availability calendar that can be accessed anytime. This research applies a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews with the studio owner and observation of the ongoing workflow. The system development follows a systematic waterfall approach, while the CodeIgniter framework is chosen for its support of the MVC structure, which facilitates system development and maintenance, as well as its broad community support. The results show that the developed system significantly simplifies the photo studio booking process. It effectively addresses the issues of manual booking, particularly in terms of saving time and improving accessibility.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong sektor perdagangan mengadopsi sistem informasi berbasis digital untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi operasional. Mitra Sayur dan Sembako Uni Leni saat ini masih mengandalkan sistem manual untuk pencatatan transaksi, pemesanan sayur dan sembako. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pemesanan Sayur dan Sembako di Mitra Uni Leni Pasar Kranggot Cilegon melalui perancangan website. Dengan website ini, informasi ketersediaan sayur hingga sembako akan disajikan secara akurat dan real-time, memungkinkan pelanggan untuk memesan sayur dan sembako secara online, mengatasi keterbatasan waktu, dan memberikan kemudahan dalam proses pemesanan Sayur dan Sembako.

Abstract

Kemajuan pesat di ranah teknologi informasi serta komputerisasi mendorong kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan mutu layanan publik, khususnya di lingkup pedesaan, supaya makin berdaya guna dan hemat. Cara kerja administrasi desa yang konvensional kerap kali menimbulkan sejumlah kendala, misalnya durasi layanan yang memakan waktu, tidak efektif, juga potensi kekeliruan tatkala mendata informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi pelayanan administrasi desa berbasis website guna meningk Penelitian ini berupaya merancang sebuah sistem informasi administrasi desa berbasis web. Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik di Desa Pamarayan, yang terletak di Kabupaten Pandeglang, Banten. penelitian yang kami terapkan menggunakan metode Waterfall. Ini adalah kerangka kerja yang umum dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak. Prosesnya tersusun rapi dan bertahap, memastikan semuanya berfungsi dengan baik melalui pengujian, sampai dengan merawat dan memperbarui sistem tersebut secara berkala. Hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan perangkat desa menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi sistem administrasi sangat dibutuhkan untuk mengatasi keterbatasan dalam pengelolaan data dan penyediaan informasi. Sistem informasi yang dikembangkan memungkinkan masyarakat mengakses layanan secara online, mempercepat proses layanan, meminimalkan kesalahan, serta meningkatkan transparansi informasi. Studi ini diharapkan jadi sebuah langkah penting untuk mewujudkan transformasi digital dan tata kelola pemerintahan desa yang lebih responsif pada kebutuhan warga.

Abstract

The development of information technology offers significant opportunities to support business efficiency, including in the retail sector, such as clothing boutiques. The Baye Prive boutique in Serang City still uses a manual system for its sales operations, which causes various obstacles such as recording errors and limited market reach. This study aims to design a web-based sales information system to simplify the transaction process, stock management, and real-time reporting. The Laravel framework was chosen because of its ability to build structured applications with a Model-View-Controller (MVC) approach. The system development method used is the Waterfall model, starting from the requirements analysis stage to the maintenance stage. The developed system provides key features such as a product catalog, shopping cart, payment, and reporting dashboard. This system is accessible to both admins and customers, supporting the digitalization of the sales process and expanding marketing reach beyond the region. The implementation of this system is expected to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer service. The results show that the designed system successfully overcomes the weaknesses of the manual system and provides an effective digital solution for the boutique's needs.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology in the education sector has transformed the learning process to become more efficient, flexible, and accessible. One of the innovations that support this transformation is the Learning Management System (LMS), which facilitates digital-based learning and improves interactions between teachers and students. However, SMKN 4 Kota Serang has not yet implemented an integrated LMS platform, resulting in limited support for Grade XII students in preparing for their final examinations. This research aims to design and implement a web-based LMS application using the Express.js framework to address these challenges and support digital learning needs. The development process follows the Waterfall methodology, which includes several sequential stages: requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and literature studies to understand user needs comprehensively. The resulting system offers core features such as digital material management, assignment submission and grading, and a discussion forum to support structured communication between users. With the implementation of Express.js, the LMS application is developed to be fast, lightweight, and scalable, making it suitable for the school's environment. This system is expected to assist both teachers and students in conducting learning activities more effectively and efficiently. Overall, this research contributes to improving the quality of digital learning at SMKN 4 Kota Serang and provides a foundation for further system development in the future.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the Indonesian government requires reliable and standardized information systems to support quality public services. The Integrated Dynamic Archives Information System (SRIKANDI) is a mandatory archival application for government agencies but faces various technical challenges in implementation. This research aims to evaluate SRIKANDI implementation at the Banten Regional Library and Archives Office using the COBIT 5 framework to identify system maturity levels and areas requiring improvement. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a case study, implementing the COBIT 5 Process Assessment Model (PAM) on EDM01, DSS01, and DSS03 domains through triangulation of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Research results show the system is at capability level 1 with scores of DSS03 (80%), EDM01 (61.11%), and DSS01 (16.66%), indicating a gap of 2 to achieve target level 3. The study concludes that SRIKANDI has been operational but requires improved documentation, process standardization, and supporting feature implementation to achieve optimal maturity level in supporting digital archival transformation.

Abstract

Digital transformation in public services at the village level requires systematic evaluation to ensure the effectiveness of information technology implementation. The research gap is identified from the lack of studies auditing village service information systems using a combination of DSS01 and BAI01 domains of the COBIT 5 framework. This study contributes to filling the gap in the literature by auditing the website-based service information system of Tejamari Village, Serang Regency, using the COBIT 5 framework, focusing on the DSS01 and BAI01 domains. The research methodology adopts a qualitative approach with a case study design using the COBIT 5 Process Assessment Model across seven systematic stages. Data triangulation was conducted through structured observations, in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, and comprehensive document analysis. The scope of the study is limited to the two specified COBIT 5 domains, with an evaluation period restricted to one month at a single location. The evaluation results show that both domains are at capability level 1, with DSS01 scoring 46.66% and BAI01 achieving 72.60%. The findings identify critical deficiencies in procedure documentation, operational standardisation, and IT resource management. The system reached level 0 with "Fully Achieved" status but did not meet the 85% threshold required to progress to the next level. The theoretical contribution of this research enriches the literature on information system audits in public services through a domain-specific COBIT 5 approach, while the practical contribution provides a roadmap for improving digital village service quality through recommendations for procedural standardization and resource optimization.
