Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the influence of productive speaking skills on the skills of telling the moral message of the folklore Sampuraga by Puspasari Setyaningrum by students of SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat. This research was conducted in class X SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat located in the village of Sitinjak. Addressed at Jl. Sibolga, Sigumuru, Kec. West Angkola, South Tapanuli Regency, Prov. North Sumatra. The research method that the author uses is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Descriptive method, using a multiple choice test variable X 10 questions and essay variable Y 5 questions. The population of this study consisted of six classes of students in class X totaling 185 students. There are two stages carried out, namely descriptive analysis, statistical analysis. Based on the results of the study, it is known that there is a significant influence between the ability to speak productively on the skills of telling the moral message of the Sampuraga folklore by Puspasari Setyaningrum by class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat. This can be seen in the hypothesis testing carried out on the data found, where the hypothesis alternative (ha) in this study is accepted, namely (ho) is rejected.Keywords: Productive speaking, moral messages.

Abstract

The problem formulation in this research is "What is the influence of using WhatsApp in writing procedural texts before and after in class VII MTs Panca Dharma Padang Sidempuan?" Class VII students at MTs Panca Dharma Padang Sidempuan. 2) To determine students' ability to write Procedure Text after using WhatsApp for class VII students at MTs Panca Dharma Padang Sidempuan. In this research the author uses associative research.  Associative research is an attempt to explain and find a description of the two variables, as well as see the influence between the two variables. Based on the results of research carried out by the author using a formula and the calculated value obtained from using the WhatsApp group is = 76, while the calculation without using the WhatsApp group is = 48 with a sample size of 15. Based on the calculation above, the author has found that the results using WhatsApp are greater than without using WhatsApp. Thus, that is = 76 48. From this score, the hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

Perubahan kebijakan kurikulum ini biasanya menimbulkan kebingungan di kalangan guru dan sekolah, terutama guru dan sekolah yang belum pernah mengikuti sekolah mengemudi dan belum pernah mendapatkan pelatihan apapun. Permasalahan yang dialami MTs. Swasta & MAS Al - Hakimiyah berhubungan dengan implementasi pembelajaran diferensiasi kurikulum merdeka serta penyusunan dan pengembangan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia serta masih ditemukan adanya guru yang kurang menguasai penyusunan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran. Maka jalan pintasnya adalah ketika melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran adopsi atau menggunakan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran buatan orang lain atau bahkan copy paste Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran dari media internet tanpa mempertimbangkan dan menelaah kondisi peserta didik dan lingkungan belajar pada satuan pendidikan dimana pendidik tersebut melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran. Jumlah mitra yang diikutsertakan adalah 2 yaitu kepala sekolah pondok pesantren Al-hakimiyah dan seluruh guru Bahasa Indonesia Pondok pesantren Al-hakimiyah yang terdiri dari Guru Madrasyah Tsanawiyah & Madrasyah Aliyah. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan PKM, dapat disimpulkan 80% Guru Madrasyah Tsanawiyah & Madrasyah Aliyah mampu mengaplikasikan media canva untuk mendesaik pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dengan baik dan tepat

Abstract

  Abstract The purpose of this study is to identify the issues that students have when communicating in English. Students in grade XI are the subject of this study, which is being conducted using a Descriptive Qualitative Method. Test and interview are used to gather research data. The results show that the students experience a lot of difficulties. The causes of this problem are vocabulary, self-confidence, pronunciation, and anxiety. One of the most important components of the problems that exist is pronunciation, because they are unable to accurately pronounced the use of English Language. Keywords: Speaking

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the ability students to write descriptive text using online experimental model at grade XI students of SMA N 1 Batangtoru. To obtain research data, researcher used pre-test and post-test.Research data collection used quantitative methods, the data on the number of students’ in the class is 10 students’. The result of the researcher showed that SMA N 1 Batangtoru accepted and used online experimental model well at school.To collected the data, the researcher was used classroom action research that consist of planing, acting, observing, and reflecting. Based on the analyzed, it can be found that (1) the scores students’ writing descriptive text before by using online experimental model at grade XI SMA N 1Batangtoru is 55,5 (2) the scores students’ writing descriptive text after by using online experimental model at grade XI SMA N 1 Batangtoru is 74,00, (3) writing difficulties descriptive text.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis kesalahan penggunaan tanda baca pada teks narasi dan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya kesalahan dalam menulis teks narasi pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan. Peneliti fokus pada tanda baca, dimana peneliti membatasi beberapa tanda baca. Tanda baca yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah titik (.), koma (,), tanda Tanya (?), tanda seru (!), dan tanda kutip (”). Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan.   Teknik yang digunakan adalah random sampling dimana peneliti mengambil 20 siswa dari kelas X. Peneliti menggunakan teks naratif sebagai instrumen penelitian berupa test menulis, kuesioner dan wawancara. Peneliti memberikan teks naratif yang tidak memiliki tanda baca. Berdasarkan analisis data, peneliti menemukan beberapa jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan, yaitu kesalahan pengurutan, penghilangan, dan penambahan tanda baca. Peneliti menunjukkan (1) titik dengan kesalahan 31,87%, (2) koma dengan kesalahan 32,19%, (3) tanda tanya dengan kesalahan 2,19%, (4) tanda seru dengan kesalahan 12,50%, dan (5) tanda kutip dengan kesalahan 21,25%. Peneliti menemukan bahwa keseluruhan koma dalam teks narasi merupakan kesalahan yang paling dominan dilakukan siswa, yaitu sebesar 32, 19%.

Abstract

Analisis Kesalahan Penggunaan Simple Present Tense dalam Teks Deskriptif Siswa Kelas VIII MTs Muhammadiyah 22 Padangsidimpuan ”. Tujuan skripsi ini adalah untuk menganalisa kesalahan siswa dalam penggunaan present tense pada paragraf deskriptif teks berdasarkan masalah yang diteliti, siswa merasa bingung dengan penggunaan present tense yang ada pada deskriptif teks. Skripsi ini metode kualitatif deskriptif . Objek penlitian skripsi ini adalah kelas VIIIA tahun ajaran 2021/2022 di MTs Muhammadiyah 22 Padangsidimpuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menginstruksikan siswa untuk menulis teks deskriptif dengan tema tertentu. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan diklasifikasikan jenis kesalahan dan penulis memberikan cek di daftar periksa observasi. Dari hasil temuan di Lapangan peneliti menemukan ada empat jenis kesalahan yaitu : omission, addition, misformation, misodering. Kemudian, peneliti mengkaji dan menyimpulkan bahwa jumlah kesalahan yang tertinggi adalah misformation dengan hasil 37%. Hal ini dikarenakan oleh siswa merasa bingung untuk mentranslate kata dari Bahasa Indonesia ke Bahasa Inggris begitupun sebaliknya. Siswa juga tidak mengerti dalam penggunaan dan penempatan to be pada subjek yang dipilih. Siswa juga mengaku mereka jarang praktek untuk membuat paragraf dalam Bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

The aim of this community service is to increase understanding and mastery of tourism vocabulary among children in Ambarita Village, Simanindo District, Samosir Regency, which has rich tourism potential. Even though this village is known for its rich Batak culture and historical tourist attractions, many children in the village are less familiar with vocabulary related to tourism. For this reason, this service activity implements the use of flashcards as a learning medium to introduce and strengthen tourism vocabulary. This activity involves elementary school age children who are trained in recognizing and mastering terms related to local tourism. The results of this activity show that the use of flashcards can significantly improve children's language skills in a tourism context. Apart from that, this activity also succeeded in increasing children's interest in the world of tourism and gave them a deeper understanding of the importance of this sector in regional development. This service not only has a positive impact in developing children's language skills, but also contributes to strengthening their awareness of the tourism potential around them.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effectiveness of the use of Audio-Visual method in enriching the vocabulary of students at grade VII MTs Muhammadiyah 04 Sibolga. The methods in this research are quantitative methods using pre-experimental designs as well as one group pretest and post-test. The subject of this research is a student of seventh grade who has only one class. The sample of this research involved 24 students. The instruments used in this research includepre-test, post-test and questionnaire. The results of this research show that the total pre-testaverage is 50,83 which is categorized as “poor”, while the post-test mean is 79,16 and is categorised as “good”. Based on data analysis, t-count values are higher than t-table values (11,737gt;2,012), meaning there is a significant difference. Therefore, H 0 is rejected and H 1 is accepted. The results of the questionnaire showed that the average percentage score of the questionnaire was 85.83% and was classified into the “very good” criteria. It shows that students positively responded to the Audio-Visual method. This research concludes that Audio-Visual method is effective to enrich students’ vocabulary.Keywords: Audio-Visual, Subtitled Video, Vocabulary

Abstract

This English language service or training focuses on those aged 8-12 years, through interesting activities that improve their English speaking skills. The objectives of carrying out this training are: 1) To train and improve children's communication in using English, 2) To enrich children's vocabulary in English which they will be able to use later after they are at a higher school level, 3) To motivate children to dare to speak English in front of the class or public. The learning technique used to train children's English is Show and Tell and also using Flipper Books and pictures. Using qualitative methods and emphasizing memorization and recitation tasks will increase participation and accountability among children. This training lasted for three days, emphasizing enriching language skills and fostering a positive attitude towards learning. After carrying out this training, it is of course hoped that it will improve children's English language skills, making them much more confident and have skills that they can apply in the future.
