Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dengan mitra menentukan prioritas pelaksanaanpengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan fokus pada bidang skill berstory telling yanglaksanakan secara langsung dan daring. Hasil Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) adalahNasyiatul Aisyiyah telah memiliki skill dan dapat mempraktikkan langsung dalam berstorytelling. Telah melaksanakan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat mulai dari tanggal 1 Desembersampai dengan 30 Januari secara teori dan praktik. Metode pelaksanaan PKM dilaksanakansecara tatap muka langsung dan dalam jaringan.

Abstract

This study presents a research conducted of Experiential Function in Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s speech at the Asia Pacific Regional Conference of Open Government Partnership (OGP) which were hold in Nusa Dua Bali. The main objective to find the dominant pattens of representation of experience formed by transitivity (process, participant and circumtance) and to describe of situational contexts (arena, participant’s characteristics and semantic domain). It presented a qualitative design dealing with quantifiable (numeric) mode. The source of the data was taken from the opening speech of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on May 6, 2014. The data were collected by applying documentary technique. The data analysis found out the findings that there were five types of process from six types of process based on systemic functional linguistics which was found in the speech. The patterns of each processes were different from others, namely material patterns, mental, relational; identification, attribution, possession, verbal and exsistential. The context of situation of the speech affected by field and dominated by arena or social activity refers to the location where social activities were performed, especially [+institutionalized]. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan hasil implementasi  pembelajaran online pada terhadap keterampilan mengkritik sastra oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilaksakan selama 6 Bulan pada semester 5 tahun 2021. Objek penelitian adalah Mahasiswa Semester 5 Program studi pendidikan bahasa Indonesia yang berjumlah 28 mahsiswa. Metode penelitian Deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui servey dan wawancara dengan informan serta di ambil dari hasil pembelajaran mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa 75% implementasi nya berdampak positif pada peningkatan hasil pembelajaran mahasiswa dan 25% berdampak negatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan teknologi mahasiswa dalam belajar daring secara mandiri dengan menggunakan media e-learning berbasis web dan meningkatkan efektifitas pembelajaran sistem e-learning. Penelitian bertempat di UM Tapsel, beralamat di Jl. Sutan Moh. Arief No.32, Batang Ayumi Julu, Padang Sidempuan Utara, Kota Padang Sidempuan, Sumatera Utara 2273. Adapaun kolaborator dalam penelitian adalah teknisi dibidang coding. Penelitian dilaksanankan pada September 2021 sampai dengan Januari 2022. Adapun hasil penelitian adalah Implementasi e-learning dalam hal ini penggunaaan perangkat lunak Learning Management System (LMS), kadang ada yang menyebutkan sebagai Course Management System (CMS) atau pun Virtual Learning Environment (VLW), memungkinkan pelajar membangun kegiatan pembelajaran selain kegiatan tatap muka (perkuliahan), yang dapat diintegrasikan dengan kegiatan tatap muka itu sendiri (bukan menggantikan aktivitas tatap muka).

Abstract

In this case, the main cause is the lack of curiosity about reading, whether it is the purpose of reading, the benefits of reading, the important role of reading for oneself and the surrounding environment. The cause of problems in writing is not knowing where to start. Too many things that seem to be the same make it difficult for people to be interested. I don't have the right language. To imagine that everything is already known to everyone. The method used in this research is to collect accurate data through interviews, recording, and taking notes. Abstract

This study aims to determine the representation of speaking ability and grammarThe sample of this study was students in five high schools (SMA) in Padangsidimpuan, with a sampling technique by using cluster random sampling. This research is a correlation research with descriptive quantitative data collection techniques. The tool used in this study is speaking performance rubric to measure students' speaking ability, while to measure students' vocabulary mastery using the multiple choice test.  To analyze the data in this study, the author used descriptive statistics (individual score, mean score) and inferential statistics (pearson product moment correlation) to calculate variables of vocabulary mastery and speaking skills. The results of this study represented that for the level of vocabulary and speaking achievement of students was at a good level. Researchers also found that there was a positive correlation between vocabulary mastery and students' speaking ability with a correlation significance of 0.943. The correlation is classified as a close correlation, meaning that the two variables have a strong correlation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the representation of students' speaking ability and vocabulary mastery is positively correlated, meaning that the highest level of vocabulary mastery then the level of speaking is also high. Therefore, teachers who play a role in controlling students in the teaching and learning process are also important to know the improvement of vocabulary and speaking ability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether students' translation skills can have a good effect using the Duolingo application for class VIII students using quantitative and qualitative methods. This research was conducted on 15 students of class VIII MTs Panca Dharma Padang Sidempuan. The results of this study indicate that the use of the Duolingo application is effective. This is evidenced by the data collected in the field. At that time the results of the pre-test were still bad. Then at the post-test stage 100% achieved the minimum completeness criteria. Therefore, related to the results of observations showed that students experienced an increase. Based on the students who passed the KKM above, it means that the actions taken were successful. The suggestion of this research to other researchers is to use the Duolingo application to help students' translation skills. Keywords: Duolingo, Translation

Abstract

This development research aims to describe the results of the validation reliability of the development of literary criticism teaching materials using the independent learning method. The problem that often occurs is the lack of textbooks that can support the learning of literary criticism courses, so that students' understanding of theory practice in literary criticism courses is weak. The research method used is the RD development method. The research sample is 4th semester students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program FKIP UM-Tapsel for the 2021-2022 academic year. Based on the results of development research it is known that the reliability conclusion of developing literary criticism teaching materials using independent learning methods is successful and feasible to be made as literary criticism teaching materials for independent learning.Keywords: Development, teaching materials, literary criticism, independent learning
