Abstract

Tindak Pidana Perdagangan Orang (TPPO) merupakan pelanggaran hak asasi manusia yang berdampak serius terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis korban, khususnya pada dimensi subjective well-being. Di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, Provinsi Jambi, remaja berusia 15–17 tahun termasuk kelompok yang paling rentan menjadi korban TPPO. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan subjective well-being pada remaja korban TPPO di UPT PPA Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap tiga partisipan berusia 16–17 tahun yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Penelitian menunjukkan tujuh tema utama yang menggambarkan subjective well-being korban TPPO di UPT PPA Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, yaitu emosi negatif, emosi positif, proses hukum dan keadilan, menarik diri, evaluasi kepuasan hidup, pengalaman traumatis, dan kronologi kejadian TPPO. Faktor- faktor yang memengaruhinya meliputi pandangan terhadap masa depan, kondisi ekonomi, dan relasi sosial. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari seluruh partisipan bahwa terdapat tujuh temayang menggambarkan subjective well-being pada korban TPPO di UPT PPA Tanjung Jabung Barat dan terdapat tiga faktor yang mempengaruhi subjective well-being tersebut.

Abstract

The high incidence of risky sexual behavior among adolescents is caused by several factors, such as the environment and low selfcontrol. Adolescents living in former red-light districts are at higher risk of risky sexual behavior due to environmental factors and a lack of self-control. Therefore, appropriate psychoeducational media are needed to help improve adolescents' selfcontrol so that risky sexual behavior can be prevented. This study aims to determine the content validity of the ‘SCOUPER’ self-control psychoeducation module as a preventive measure against risky sexual behavior among adolescents in former red-light districts. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 3D model (Define, Design, and Develop). The define stage analyzed the needs of adolescents, the design stage developed the self-control psychoeducation module, and the develop stage included validity testing with rating scores by experts or validators. The data analysis used in this study was descriptive analysis with Aiken's V formula and validator input. The validity test results showed that the SCOUPER self-control psychoeducation module scored between 0.75 and 1,00 in the high – very high category. Based on the validity test results, the SCOUPER module can be concluded to be valid for use with some suggestions and improvements from the validator. The SCOUPER self-control psychoeducation module is valid in terms of content, construct, and language, and has the potential to be used as a preventive medium in preventing risky sexual behavior among adolescents, especially in former red-light districts.

Abstract

Psychological distress among adolescents is increasingly widespread and is characterized by symptoms of anxiety, depression, and stress. Academic pressure, complex social dynamics, and exposure to digital media are considered key triggers. Psychological distress can disrupt development, lower academic achievement, and potentially lead to more serious mental disorders in adulthood. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of group cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for adolescents with psychological disorders. The research employed a quantitative quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design, without a control group. Participants consisted of eight adolescents, all aged 13, who experienced psychological distress. Psychological assessment procedures included interviews, behavioral observations, and the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale-10 (K-10), which was used to assess subjects' baseline psychological distress. The stages of the CBT group intervention included orienting the patients, identifying maladaptive thoughts and beliefs, challenging these maladaptive thoughts and beliefs, behavioral activation, problem-solving, and relaxation techniques. Data were analyzed using a dependent-samples t-test to assess changes in psychological distress, along with an analysis of interview data comparing participants' narratives before and after the intervention. The findings revealed a significant reduction in psychological distress scores, with participants demonstrating positive changes in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, particularly in themes related to academic achievement, social issues, and family dynamics. The study suggests that CBT group therapy can serve as a practical psychological support strategy within the community to promote improved mental health among adolescents. Future research should include control groups to enhance the generalizability of the findings.

Abstract

Sensori integrasi merupakan salah satu aspek perkembangan yang berpengaruh besar dalam keseharian anak, namun masih terdapat anak yang terindikasi mengalami kesulitan sensori integrasi tanpa perhatian dari guru dan orang tua. Faktor demografi orang tua juga merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan anak, sehingga perlu diketahui bagaimana kemampuan sensori integrasi anak berdasarkan faktor demografi orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan sensori integrasi anak usia dini berdasarkan faktor demografi orang tua (usia, jumlah anak, status perkawinan, pendidikan, pekerjaan, penghasilan, dan suku) di Yayasan Al-Aqsha Kota Jambi. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dengan alat ukur yang dikembangkan sendiri oleh peneliti dengan melibatkan 32 anak. Hasil menunjukkan mayoritas anak memiliki kemampuan sensori integrasi pada kategori sedang dengan persentase sebesar 43.75%. Berdasarkan faktor demografi orang tua, diketahui bahwa anak dari orang tua berusia dewasa awal, berpendidikan SMA, anak tunggal, anak dari orang tua yang bercerai karena kematian bersuku campuran, ayah yang bekerja sebagai karyawan swasta dan ibu tenaga kesehatan, serta dari orang tua berpenghasilan tinggi memiliki nilai rata-rata lebih tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa anak usia dini di Yayasan Al-Aqsha Kota Jambi secara umum memiliki tingkat kemampuan sensori integrasi yang cukup baik dengan karakteristik tertentu dalam faktor demografi orang tua yang ikut serta dalam perkembangan sensori integrasi anak usia dini.

Abstract

Drug abuse remains a serious problem in Indonesia, including in Jambi Province. Its effects are not only physical but also psychological, with aggressive behavior being one of the common consequences. Family support is considered a protective factor that can reduce aggression among inmates with a history of drug abuse. This study aims to describe family support, aggressive behavior, and the relationship between family support and aggressive behavior among inmates who are victims of drug abuse at Class II B Muara Sabak Prison. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design and survey method. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, consisting of drug-related inmates at Class II B Muara Sabak Prison who met the inclusion criteria. The instruments used were the Family Support Scale and the Aggression Behavior Scale. Data were analyzed using correlation tests. The findings revealed a significant negative correlation between family support and aggressive behavior, with a correlation coefficient of r = -0.657. This indicates that higher family support is associated with lower levels of aggressive behavior, both physical and verbal. Family support plays an important role in reducing aggressive behavior among inmates with a history of drug abuse. Correctional rehabilitation programs are recommended to strengthen family involvement in consistently providing support.

Abstract

Perilaku seksual menyimpang pada remaja tunagrahita disebabkan oleh pemahaman seksualitas yang terbatas karena kurangnya pendidikan seksual yang sesuai. Untuk membantu siswa tunagrahita yang berpotensi mampu didik mempelajari pengetahuan pendidikan seksual, diperlukan stimulasi melalui media pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan tingkat kemampuannya, salah satunya adalah media Busy Box Sex Education (BSE). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas modul BSE dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan pendidikan seksual pada siswa SMALB tunagrahita ringan. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode eksperimen single subject research dengan desain A–B–A–Follow-up pada siswa SMALB tunagrahita ringan yang dipilih secara purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria IQ, usia, riwayat perilaku seksual yang tidak sesuai norma, dan mendapatkan izin dari wali. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen tes pengetahuan pendidikan seksual yang telah tervalidasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif serta divisualisasikan dalam bentuk grafik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan skor pengetahuan dari skor 50 baseline pertama (A1) menjadi 100 baseline kedua (A2), dan tetap tinggi pada skor 95 pada fase follow-up setelah 23 hari. Hal ini membuktikan modul BSE efektif meningkatkan dan mempertahankan pemahaman siswa tentang identifikasi tubuh, batasan sentuhan, rasa malu, kebersihan diri, serta sopan santun. Abstract Teenagers with mild intellectual disabilities often show inappropriate sexual behavior because they have limited knowledge about sexuality and do not receive proper sexual education. To help them learn, special learning media are needed, such as the Busy Box Sex Education (BSE) module. This study aims to find out whether the BSE module is effective in improving sexual education knowledge for students with mild intellectual disabilities at SMALB. The study used a single-subject experimental method with an A–B–A–Follow-up design. One student with mild intellectual disability at SMALB was chosen using purposive sampling based on IQ, age, history of inappropriate sexual behavior, and parental consent. Data were collected using a validated knowledge test on sexual education, then analyzed descriptively and shown in graphs. Specify the complete research method. The student’s score increased from 50 (baseline 1) to 100 (baseline 2), and stayed high at 95 during the follow-up after 23 days. This shows that the BSE module successfully improved and maintained the student’s understanding of body identification, touch boundaries, modesty, personal hygiene, and good manners. The Busy Box Sex Education module was proven effective in improving sexual education knowledge among students with mild intellectual disabilities at SMALB Negeri 1 Kota Jambi. Future research is recommended to involve a larger number of participants to enable broader generalization of the findings.

Abstract

Angka kejadian perilaku seksual berisiko yang tinggi pada remaja disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti lingkungan dan rendahnya kontrol diri. Remaja yang tinggal di kawasan eks lokalisasi memiliki risiko lebih tinggi terhadap perilaku seksual berisiko yang diakibatkan oleh faktor lingkungan dan minimnya kontrol diri pada remaja. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media psikoedukasi yang tepat untuk membantu meningkatkan kontrol diri remaja sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya perilaku seksual berisiko. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas isi dari modul psikoedukasi kontrol diri ‘SCOUPER’ sebagai upaya preventif perilaku seksual berisiko pada remaja di kawasan eks lokalisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 3D (Define, Design dan Develop). Tahap define menganalisis kebutuhan remaja, tahap design menyusun rancangan modul psikoedukasi kontrol diri, dan tahap develop meliputi uji validitas dengan pemberian skor rating oleh ahli atau validator. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dengan rumus Aiken’s V dan masukan validator. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan bahwa modul psikoedukasi kontrol diri SCOUPER memperoleh skor 0,75 – 1,00 dengan kategori tinggi – sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas, modul SCOUPER dapat disimpulkan valid untuk digunakan dengan beberapa saran dan perbaikan dari validator. Modul psikoedukasi kontrol diri SCOUPER teruji valid secara isi, konstruk, dan bahasa, serta berpotensi digunakan sebagai media preventif dalam pencegahan perilaku seksual berisiko pada remaja, khususnya di kawasan eks lokalisasi. Abstract

The community service activity titled “Boosting SINTA Scores” was carried out in response to the need to enhance the capacity of lecturers in managing academic identity and scientific publications, particularly within the Psychology Study Program, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universitas Jambi. This hybrid-format program involved 12 active lecturer participants. Initial situation analysis revealed that most lecturers lacked a comprehensive understanding of the SINTA assessment system, citation improvement strategies, and the optimal use of academic platforms such as Google Scholar, Garuda, and SINTA itself. The program was designed using an educative and participatory approach, consisting of workshops, technical guidance, and individualized mentoring. The results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of publication strategies and academic profile management, along with tangible improvements in the completeness and presentation of their academic profiles. Moreover, the average SINTA score among lecturers increased following the activity, indicating the effectiveness of the intervention. A sustainable discussion community also emerged from the program, encouraging collaboration and exchange of information related to scholarly publication. This initiative highlights the importance of structured and continuous interventions to support lecturers in achieving greater academic visibility and recognition through improved publication capacity and the effective use of digital technology.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the importance of emotional management skills in late adolescence, so that they are prepared to face the transition to adulthood, as well as the role of parenting styles in helping to develop these skills. The city of Jambi shows variations in the application of democratic parenting styles, which have an impact on the emotional management of adolescents. This study aims to determine how democratic parenting styles affect the level of emotional intelligence in adolescents who are approaching adulthood in the city of Jambi. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The respondents are adolescents who have graduated from high school, aged between 18 and 21 years, and live in the city of Jambi. Democratic parenting and emotional intelligence were collected through questionnaires, then analyzed statistically to determine the relationship between variables. The study shows that the way parents treat their children with freedom and mutual respect has a positive correlation with the children's ability to manage their feelings at present. The higher the application of democratic parenting, which is characterized by warmth, open communication, responsible freedom, and consistent discipline, the higher the level of emotional.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui orientasi masa depan siswa sekolah terpencil di SMPN 53 Merangin Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa SMPN 53 Merangin, kepala sekolah dan guru sebagai significant other. Analisis data menggunakan interpretative phenomenological analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan orientasi masa depan siswa sekolah terpencil yaitu tujuan dan cita-cita siswa, baik dalam bentuk lanjut studi maupun bekerja. Motivasi berupa alasan, minat, dan ketertarikan mereka terhadap cita-cita dan tujuan, serta yang terakhir modeling yang mana mereka menggambarkan cita-cita dan tujuan terhadap figur yang sering mereka lihat di sekolah maupun di lingkungan masyarakat terpencil.
