Abstract

The purpose of this review is to determine the significance of strategic management in raising educational standards. The review approach employed is literature, which involves gathering diverse supporting article references from worldwide and national publications. The study’s findings, presented as papers, demonstrate a considerable rise in educational quality in well-managed schools. Schools that are not supported by a good management process can develop an irregular organizational rhythm, resulting in a failure to meet instructional goals. Improving educational quality will undoubtedly benefit school graduates. Strategic management allows for the expansion of future potential while also minimizing realized hazards. Strategic management is only possible if all parties directly involved in the school, such as school administrators, parents of students, lecturers and staff, are involved.

Abstract

Educating children with special needs is a challenge in the world of education, because not all schools are ready to accommodate children with special needs in their educational environment. Children with special needs generally grow and develop with a number of differences compared to children in general. In special education in Indonesia, children with special needs are classified into blind, deaf, physically disabled, mentally retarded and hearing impaired. Every child with special needs also requires special services that are appropriate to their abilities and characteristics. It is important to carry out activities that recognize not only the abilities and needs of children with special needs, but also their characteristics. The aim of this research is to identify the characteristics of ABK. The methods used were observation, interviews and documentation, after which the data was analyzed qualitatively and descriptively. Social and communication development is the most important disorder, as in normal people, impaired verbal intelligence or language, and difficulty in continually renewing behavior, desires, pleasures and habits. Based on interviews, observations and literature, children with special needs are proven to have characteristics in the areas of communication, social interaction, sensory abilities, playing styles, behavior and emotions.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of PAI learning on students’ social awareness. This study analyzes previous journals to investigate the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in increasing students’ social awareness in secondary schools. The research method uses a literature analysis approach by identifying and evaluating key findings from previous studies that are relevant to this topic. Data was obtained from journal articles, books and other related research published in the last period. The results of the analysis show that PAI can significantly influence students’ understanding and social behavior, by emphasizing values such as justice, empathy and social responsibility. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of supporting and expanding more in-depth research on how PAI can be optimized to effectively increase students’ social awareness in educational settings.

Abstract

This study aims to describe ICT-based learning media, visual intelligence, Islamic Religious Education, and innovation of ICT-based learning media towards visual intelligence in Islamic Religious Education. This article is also expected to contribute to the world of education and also to further relevant researchers. This study uses library research. Research sources are obtained from various scientific sources, namely books, journal articles, and various other sources related to research studies. The use of learning media for students must first require educators to know the characteristics of their students, including students who have visual intelligence. Educators must adjust the learning style of these students which tends to refer to the intelligence that students have. Educators can apply learning media by entering the world of students. Entering the world of students in question is that educators in delivering material adjust their teaching style to the learning style of their students. Educators can utilize Microsoft Powerpoint and Lectora Inspire which can present images and abstract materials to be more concrete in front of students, such as text represented by images on their slides. Educators can utilize videos to present moving images that are able to present actual objects with the original spatial layout of the object or duplicate the actual object, such as animated videos.

Abstract

This article discusses hijab in the Qur'anic perspective, highlighting its role as a symbol of obedience and identity for Muslim women. The author explains that wearing the hijab is an obligation that has deep meaning, not only as a covering of the aurat, but also as protection and a sign of modesty. Although the hijab is seen as an obligation, there is debate over the interpretation of the Qur'anic verses that regulate its wearing. This study uses qualitative methods and a tafsir approach to explain the relationship between hijab and women's freedom, as well as how Islamic feminism sees hijab as a choice that reflects women's independent social identity. The hijab not only functions in a religious context, but also plays a role in complex social dynamics, becoming a statement of freedom and self-expression for Muslim women. As such, the hijab presents multiple meanings that evolve with the times, while questioning how women respond to religious obligations while maintaining their individual rights and freedoms in dress.

Abstract

The implementation of child custody due to parental divorce is a very important legal issue, considering the implications for the child's psychological and social development. This research aims to analyze the implementation of child custody rights in the context of parental divorce, with a focus on the legal process and factors that influence court decisions. In the Indonesian legal system, child custody can be given to one parent or both parents jointly, based on considerations regarding the child's best interests. The research results show that although the law provides clear guidelines, in practice, custody decisions are often influenced by a variety of factors, including the parents' emotional, psychological and financial conditions, as well as the child's age and needs. This research also found that a lack of communication between parents is often an obstacle in reaching a mutual agreement regarding custody. Therefore, it is recommended that the court pay more attention to the psychological evaluation of the child and parents in determining custody rights that are in favor of the child's best interests. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. In it, the author collects data from various literary sources.

Abstract

This article will describe the increase in global migration triggered by various factors such as armed conflict, political instability, and natural disasters. This has led to a rise in the number of refugees, asylum seekers, and illegal migrants who require appropriate handling. The research method used is library research with a qualitative descriptive approach, involving the analysis of secondary data from various literature, including international policies and case studies from countries that are migration destinations. The research findings indicate that there is significant legal uncertainty in dealing with these groups, which impacts the increase in economic and social burdens in host countries. Additionally, political and social tensions often arise due to inconsistent immigration policies.

Abstract

It is not only related to academic achievement but also reflects the institution's ability to interact with and contribute to the community. This article aims to examine strategies for improving the quality of educational institutions and how they can expand their participation in social development. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach, it was found that the synergy between internal management, professional educators, relevant curricula, and community involvement is the key to the success of educational institutions that are both high-quality and socially impactful. Educational institutions must be able to serve as centers of learning as well as agents of social change in their environments.

Abstract

This study explores the learning strategies of classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning) and analyzes the moral values (akhlak karimah) found in the Wasoya book at Pondok Pesantren Musthafawiyah. The main problems addressed in this research are the strategies applied in the teaching of kitab kuning and how the moral values contained in Wasoya are integrated into the learning process. The kitab kuning serves as a primary source in traditional Islamic education, aiming not only to convey religious knowledge but also to instill ethical and spiritual values. This research employs a qualitative approach with field study and content analysis methods. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of teaching activities and the Wasoya text. The findings reveal that learning strategies such as bandongan, sorogan, and guided discussions are used, complemented by the habituation of moral behavior in daily life. The Wasoya book emphasizes values such as honesty, trustworthiness, humility, and compassion, which are instilled through both instruction and exemplary conduct by teachers. In conclusion, Pondok Pesantren Musthafawiyah effectively integrates classical text-based learning with character building grounded in Islamic moral values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze classroom management strategies implemented by teachers in an effort to improve students' learning discipline. Discipline is one of the important factors that influence the success of the learning process. However, in practice, various obstacles are still found, such as low student compliance with class rules and lack of responsibility in completing assignments. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, which examines various literature related to classroom management theory and learning discipline. The results of the study indicate that effective classroom management strategies include the application of clear rules, consistency in enforcing discipline, the use of a positive approach, and strengthening interpersonal relationships between teachers and students. By implementing these strategies, teachers can create an orderly and conducive learning environment that encourages increased student discipline. These findings are expected to be a reference for education practitioners in improving the effectiveness of learning in the classroom.
