Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Mobile Legends tournament as one of the strategies in increasing the income of Cafe Primadona. This tournament was held as a form of business innovation that combines e-sports trends with the culinary industry, so that it can attract visitors, especially teenagers and game lovers. The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The research data consists of primary data obtained through direct interviews with café owners, visitors, and tournament participants, as well as secondary data that includes supporting documents related to the implementation of the tournament. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation that is relevant to the topic. The location of the study was at Cafe Primadona, Talang Babat, Muara Sabak. The data collected was analyzed using qualitative methods presented descriptively to provide a clear picture of the impact of the tournament on cafe income. The results of the study show that the Mobile Legends tournament plays a significant role in increasing income through several mechanisms, such as increasing the number of visitors, purchasing food and drinks, and support from sponsors. The income generated not only has a positive impact on the economy of the cafe owner’s family, but also supports the sustainability of operations and the development of cafe business innovations. In addition, the tournament also creates opportunities for collaboration with the local gaming community, further strengthening the appeal of Cafe Primadona as a place to gather and socialize.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan latar belakang, cara membuat konten, dan dampak menjadi konten kreator Facebook di Kelurahan Panei Tongah Kabupaten Simalungun. Platfrom yang digunakan masyarakat untuk menjadi konten kreator yaitu Facebook dengan pertimbangan bahwasannya Facebook merupakan media sosial yang mudah diakses oleh masyarakat luas, memiliki vitur yang beragam serta dapat menghasilkan uang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah Hybrid Ethnography untuk melihat bagaimana ruang offline dan online yang saling terkait. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Hasil Penelitian ini menggambarkan, bahwa latar belakang masyarakat dalam membuat konten yaitu sebagai hiburan, ajakan teman atau ikut-ikutan trend, menambah pekerjaan dan penghasilan, menjalin pertemanan dan promosi usaha, notifikasi Facebook untuk peluang monetisasi, penghasilan tambahan dan menambah pekerjaan. Cara masyarakat dalam membuat konten juga sangat beragam mulai dari membuat video sendiri, bersama anak, teman hingga dibantu oleh suami atau istri mereka. Fenomena ini juga mengakibatkan dampak positif dan juga negatif yang mempengaruhi perubahan budaya dan sosial pada masyarakat.

Abstract

Competition in the business world is a determining factor for the success or failure of a company. Companies that are unable to follow market dynamics will be eliminated, while companies that are innovative and able to satisfy customers will win the competition and continue to grow. Customer satisfaction is the main key in creating long-term relationships between companies and consumers. Therefore, quality service is an important factor that must be maintained and improved by every business actor. This study aims to determine the quality of employee service, especially from an Islamic economic perspective, at Toko Dua Putri. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study include shop owners, employees, and consumers who are directly involved in service activities. The data obtained are then analyzed descriptively to understand the application of Islamic principles in service. The results of the study indicate that the services provided by Toko Dua Putri employees have reflected Islamic values ​​such as mutual assistance (ta'awun), providing convenience (at-taysir), equality (musawah), and kinship (ukhuwah).

Abstract

Pengolahan kopra kelapa di Muara Sabak Timur memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah produk. Dengan inovasi dalam proses pengolahan dan pemanfaatan hasil samping, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan petani dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi metode pengolahan kopra yang lebih efisien dan ramah lingkungan serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap nilai tambah produk. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara dan observasi langsung di lapangan. Data dikumpulkan dari petani, pengolah, dan pedagang kopra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi baru dalam pengolahan kopra dapat meningkatkan kualitas produk dan daya saing di pasar. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengembangan kebijakan dan program pelatihan bagi petani dan pengolah kopra di wilayah tersebut

Abstract

Artikel ini memaparkan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa dalam upaya pengembangan kewirausahaan masyarakat di Muara Sabak, Jambi. Program ini berfokus pada pendampingan keuangan yang diberikan oleh Bank 9 Jambi untuk meningkatkan akses modal dan kemampuan manajerial pelaku usaha mikro dan kecil. Dengan meningkatnya kesadaran akan pentingnya manajemen keuangan yang baik, program ini berfokus pada pelatihan dan pendampingan langsung kepada pelaku usaha mikro dan kecil. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan manajerial, akses terhadap modal, dan pertumbuhan omzet usaha. Program ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi terhadap perekonomian lokal dan memberdayakan masyarakat

Abstract

The innovation of healthy and halal menus in school canteens in East Tanjung Jabung aims to improve the quality of nutrition and compliance with the principles of maqasid sharia in student food consumption. This research highlights the importance of providing food that not only meets healthy and halal criteria, but also nutritious, to support the health and development of students. By implementing the concept of BERHAZI (Diverse, Halal, Nutritious) canteens, schools can provide more varied and attractive food options for students. Collaboration with halal-certified local producers is the main strategy to ensure the supply of quality foodstuffs. In addition, regular audits of the serving process and cleanliness in school canteens are needed to maintain halal standards and food safety. Nutrition education for students, teachers, and canteen managers is also the main focus to increase awareness of the importance of healthy eating. The involvement of parents and communities in healthy school programs can strengthen the implementation of these initiatives. Through a holistic approach that involves various parties, it is hoped that this innovation can create an educational environment that supports student health and integrates halal values in food consumption. This research provides insight into how innovative programs in school canteens can serve as a catalyst in creating a younger generation that is healthier and more responsive to religious values in daily life. In addition, the results of this research are expected to be a reference for education and health policies in other regions, as well as encourage further development regarding the provision of healthy and halal food in educational institutions. This shows that the integration of education, auditing, and collaboration activities has succeeded in improving the performance of school canteens in providing balanced and safe food for consumption.

Abstract

This study aims to elaborate on the influence of religiosity and the level of understanding of Sharia insurance on the decision to become a Sharia insurance policyholder. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that the decision of customers to use Sharia insurance increased by 4.544%, even without changes in other independent variables such as religiosity and understanding. Religiosity was found to have a positive influence, contributing to a 40.4% increase in decisions, while increased knowledge related to Sharia insurance products had a positive impact of 40.8%. The SPSS analysis results indicate that 80.6% of the variation in customer decisions can be explained by these two variables, while the remaining 19.4% is influenced by other factors not included in the regression model. This study highlights that both religiosity and knowledge play crucial roles in influencing customer decisions to choose Sharia insurance, but external factors should also be considered for a more comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the interest of the community in Kelurahan Mendahara Ilir in using Sharia-based mobile banking services, as well as the factors influencing it. In the digital era, Sharia mobile banking serves as a modern financial solution aligned with Islamic principles; however, its adoption rate remains low in this region. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the main barriers to using Sharia mobile banking include low digital literacy, limited internet access, and concerns about service security. Internal factors such as technological understanding and religious motivation, along with external factors like social support and education from financial institutions, also influence community interest. The study recommends the implementation of contextual, collaborative, and sustainable educational strategies to enhance the adoption of Sharia financial technology and promote financial inclusion in coastal areas

Abstract

This study aims to examine the level of public understanding of Islamic banking in Mendahara Ilir Village, Mendahara District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency, Jambi Province. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, the study reveals that although the term "Islamic bank" is fairly well known among the community, understanding of the underlying principles, systems, and products remains very low and largely symbolic. This lack of Islamic financial literacy is not due to rejection of the Sharia system, but rather stems from limited access to information, inadequate educational efforts from Islamic financial institutions, and the low integration of Islamic economic content in religious activities. The study finds that awareness of Islamic identity has not yet aligned with technical understanding of Sharia contracts (akad). Other findings suggest that direct experience in using Islamic banking services can serve as an important bridge toward deeper understanding. The study recommends contextual and collaborative Islamic financial literacy strategies, involving religious leaders, local media, experiential training, and the strengthening of Islamic economic curricula in both formal and informal education. With such strategies, Islamic financial inclusion in remote areas like Mendahara Ilir can be significantly improved, thereby supporting fair, sustainable, and Islamically-aligned local economic development

Abstract

Education serves as the fundamental cornerstone of national development, aiming not only to produce intellectually capable individuals, but also morally grounded, socially responsible, and skillful citizens. In Indonesia, pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) hold a strategic position within the educational system due to their holistic approach, which integrates religious instruction, character formation, and, increasingly, vocational training. This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality on student (santri) satisfaction at the cooperative of Barokatul Islah Islamic Boarding School, located in Rantau Karya Village, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. Employing a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design, the study adopts the SERVQUAL model, encompassing the dimensions of reliability, assurance, empathy, and responsiveness. A total of 101 student respondents were selected through purposive sampling. The results of a simple linear regression analysis indicate that service quality has a significant and positive effect on student satisfaction, with an R² value of 0.608 and a significance level of 0.000. These findings suggest that improvements in service quality—particularly in the dimensions of tangibles and empathy have a direct impact on student satisfaction. This research highlights the importance of managing pesantren cooperatives professionally and in alignment with Islamic values, in order to support the value-oriented, spiritual, and economically self-reliant educational goals of the pesantren system
