Abstract

Mastery of digital technology is one of the essential skills in the business world, especially in the field of Culinary Arts, where online product marketing can expand market reach. However, students of the D4 Culinary Arts Study Program, Family Welfare Education Department, Faculty of Engineering, Makassar State University still have limitations in utilizing digital technology, especially in creating websites as a marketing medium. This article aims to describe the implementation of WordPress-based website creation training for 50 students with the aim of improving their skills in marketing products digitally. The training method includes delivering theoretical materials, direct practice, and evaluating results. The training was carried out through several stages, namely introducing basic digital marketing concepts, operating WordPress, creating a simple website, and publishing product content. The results of the training showed that the majority of participants succeeded in creating a functional website as a product marketing medium, with a significant increase in their ability to understand and implement digital marketing strategies. In addition, students appreciated this training as a strategic initial step in supporting the innovation and sustainability of their business.  This activity has a positive impact on students' mastery of digital technology, as well as opening up opportunities for the development of similar training with more complex advanced materials. Thus, this community service is a real contribution in answering the need for students' digital skills in the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Word of Mouth (WOM) and Digital Marketing on marketing strategies in the mobile coffee business "Kopi Cuss". The study was conducted with a quantitative descriptive approach using a questionnaire distributed to 106 respondents, who were active consumers of Kopi Cuss in the last six months. The results of the linear regression test showed that WOM had a significant influence on marketing strategies, while digital marketing did not have a significant influence partially. However, the results of the simultaneous test showed that both had a significant influence together. These findings indicate the importance of synergy between informal communication from consumers and digital marketing strategies in building brand awareness and customer loyalty, especially among the younger generation.

Abstract

The community service activity in Limporilau Village revealed that there is a problem regarding the low level of knowledge among the community about the utilization of aquaponics technology. Many people are still unaware that aquaponics can be implemented in limited spaces such as home gardens. The method used to address this issue includes socialization, lectures, discussions, and training on aquaponics system construction. The results obtained from these activities showed an improvement in the community's knowledge of aquaponics. This initiative aims to enhance food security and the self-reliance of the community. By utilizing aquaponics, which combines plant cultivation and fish farming, the community can benefit from a single system. Aquaponics also offers an alternative business opportunity for the community, as it yields high-value organic plants and fresh fish.

Abstract

Kabupaten Majene, Sulawesi Barat, memiliki potensi besar dalam pengolahan bahan lokal seperti gula aren dan kelapa menjadi produk khas daerah. Namun, kurangnya inovasi dan keterampilan masyarakat, khususnya kelompok ibu-ibu rumah tangga, dalam memanfaatkan bahan lokal ini menjadi kendala dalam pengembangan usaha berbasis kuliner. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada ibu-ibu rumah tangga di Kecamatan Wonomulyo dalam memproduksi Golla-Golla Mammis PHS dengan inovasi rasa dan pengemasan yang menarik. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu persiapan lokasi, sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Metode yang digunakan mencakup demonstrasi, diskusi, dan praktik langsung oleh peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu menguasai teknik pembuatan Golla-Golla Mammis PHS dengan variasi rasa seperti cokelat, pandan, dan kacang. Produk yang dihasilkan memiliki kualitas lebih baik dari segi rasa, tekstur, dan daya tahan, serta dikemas dengan menarik untuk meningkatkan nilai jual. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan teknis, kreativitas, dan produktivitas ibu-ibu rumah tangga dalam menghasilkan produk bernilai ekonomi tinggi. Selain membuka peluang usaha kecil, kegiatan ini juga berkontribusi dalam pelestarian kuliner tradisional dengan sentuhan inovasi modern. Kata Kunci: Pengabdian, Golla-Golla, Mammis, Ibu Rumah Tangga

Abstract

This study aims to improve student activeness and understanding in learning praktik plumbing through the application of interactive learning videos based on LUMI H5P. The method used is ADDIE model-based development which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The interactive video was developed to support independent learning by inserting evaluation questions in the video material. The results show that the use of interactive content based on H5P can increase student learning motivation, accelerate task completion, and facilitate the evaluation process with automatic feedback. The implementation of this technology is also able to overcome the limitations of static document-based learning. In conclusion, the use of LUMI H5P in learning praktik plumbing significantly improves student engagement and understanding, and promotes more flexible and effective learning. It is recommended that the use of H5P interactive content be integrated more widely in various practical courses to support the quality of digital learning.

Abstract

Isu pengelolaan limbah ampas kopi pada usaha kopi keliling menjadi perhatian penting seiring meningkatnya konsumsi kopi masyarakat urban. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan pelaku usaha kopi keliling dalam mengolah limbah ampas kopi menjadi sabun batang bernilai jual yang melibatkan pelaku usaha dan karyawan kopi keliling bernama “Kopi Cuss” yang beroperasi secara mobile di wilayah Kota Makassar. Metode yang digunakan adalah partisipatif-edukatif melalui pelatihan langsung, praktik dan diskusi pengembangan produk lanjutan. Kegiatan dimulai dari identifikasi masalah mitra, pemetaan potensi limbah, pelatihan pembuatan sabun, hingga evaluasi hasil pelatihan. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan perubahan pandangan mitra terhadap limbah sebagai peluang usaha. Sabun yang dihasilkan dinilai layak secara teknis dan memiliki potensi pasar sebagai suvenir usaha. Kegiatan ini memperkuat penerapan prinsip ekonomi sirkular dan green entrepreneurship di sektor mikro.

Abstract

Potensi  sumberdaya dan wisata rumah apung lawase danau tempe dapat dioptimalkan oleh kegiatan Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat Pemula (PMP) Universitas Puangrimaggalatung. Sasaran utama adalah kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya Gemar Makan Ikan (GEMARIKAN) sebagai bahan pangan berprotein tinggi sangat penting. Hal ini juga merupakan upaya peningkatan konsumsi ikan secara benar, baik dari segi memilih jenis ikan dan pengolahannya dapat mendatangkan banyak manfaat dan mencegah beberapa penyakit khususnya Stunting di Kabupaten Wajo.  Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat Pemula ini untuk mengoptimalkan pemberdayaan perempuan nelayan lawase dalam pengelolaan rumah apung yaitu Meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu-ibu nelayan untuk menyediakan produk yang tepat melalui penerapan inovasi diversifikasi, nowledge-Based digital dan pengolahan hasil perikanan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah pendekatan RRA (Rapid Rural Appresial) dan PRA (Partisipatori Rural Appresial) dilakukan proses belajar yang intensif untuk meningkatkan tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra rumah apung lawase Danau Tempe. Pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yakni tahap awal, pelaksanaan, dan akhir. Hasil kepuasan kegiatan pengabdian ini dari tingkat kebutuhan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, kualitas/kuantitas yang telah dirasakan oleh mitra rumah apung lawase dengan nilai persentase yang memuaskan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pola penyebaran S. frugiperda di kecamatan Sabbangparu, Kabupaten Wajo. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei – Agustus 2021. Tahapan penelitian dengan menggunakan survey dan monitoring dengan metode scouting. Pengambilan Sampel setiap area pertanaman diambil contoh sampel tanaman jagung yang ditentukan secara sistematik. Sampel yang ditemukan dilapangan diambil dan dimasukkan kedalam wadah plastik untuk diidentifikasi bioekologi. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa S. frugiperda sudah menyerang tanaman jagung pada fase generatif dan vegetatif di semua Kelurahan dan Desa di Kecamatan Sabbangparu. Karakter spesifik yang terdapat pada S. frugiperda berupa huruf “Y” terbalik pada kapsul kepala dan pola titik hitam pada abdomen (titik empat dan trapesium). Stadia pertumbuhan yang diperoleh dilapangan yaitu stadia larva dan imago. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution pattern of S. frugiperda in Sabbangparu sub-district, Wajo district. The research was carried out in May – August 2021. The research stages used surveys and monitoring with the scouting method. Sampling of each planting area, samples of corn plants were determined systematically. Samples found in the field were taken and put into plastic containers for bioecological identification. The survey results show that S. frugiperda has attacked maize plants in the generative and vegetative phases in all sub-districts and villages in Sabbangparu sub-district. Specific characters found in S. frugiperda are inverted “Y” letter on the head capsule and black dot pattern on the abdomen (four dots and trapezoid). The growth stages obtained in the field were the larval and imago stages.

Abstract

Abstrak – Limbah tekstil, khususnya celana jeans bekas, merupakan salah satu masalah lingkungan yang mendesak karena sulit terurai secara alami. Di sisi lain, remaja putri di pedesaan memiliki potensi besar untuk diberdayakan melalui pelatihan keterampilan kreatif yang dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan kemandirian ekonomi. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan di Desa Arungkeke Pallantikang, Kabupaten Jeneponto, dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan pembuatan tas dari celana jeans bekas bagi remaja putri. Metode yang digunakan meliputi tahap sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis menjahit dan desain, pendampingan produksi, serta pembekalan kewirausahaan sederhana. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam memanfaatkan bahan bekas menjadi produk bernilai ekonomi. Remaja putri mampu menghasilkan tas kreatif dengan kualitas cukup baik dan berpotensi dipasarkan, sehingga dapat menambah pendapatan keluarga sekaligus mendukung pengurangan limbah tekstil. Program ini juga menumbuhkan sikap produktif, kreativitas, dan kepedulian lingkungan pada peserta. Dengan demikian, kegiatan PKM ini tidak hanya berdampak pada aspek ekonomi, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pembangunan berkelanjutan melalui praktik daur ulang dan pemberdayaan remaja putri. Kata kunci: Daur ulang, jeans bekas, tas, remaja putri, pemberdayaan

Abstract

The floating village of Lake Tempe is one of the villages around Lake Tempe, Wajo Regency. The livelihood of the community is generally fishing. Training on the use of fish waste into organic liquid fertilizer (POC) was carried out using lecture and demonstration methods. The Lecture Method is used to increase public understanding regarding the use of fish waste which can be used as Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) which is good for maintaining soil fertility and is beneficial for plants and helps reduce environmental pollution caused by fish waste. Next, a direct practice/demonstration was carried out regarding the methods for making the POC. Liquid organic fertilizer (POC), which uses fish waste, takes 14 days to make. The results of making liquid organic fertilizer (POC) were given to participants, not just giving it away but providing information on how to make fertilizer and the dosage for applying it so that residents and farmers could try and gain knowledge of making liquid organic fertilizer (POC). In this training activity, participants were very enthusiastic about taking part in the training, as evidenced by their enthusiastic attitude towards the material presented. The enthusiastic attitude of the training participants was shown through the many questions during the training. It is hoped that after this training activity is completed, participants will be interested in trying to apply it in their respective living environments.
