Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of cooperative script learning models in lectures Theory & Practice of Listening Learning as an effort to improve student achievement, activities, and speaking skills. Listening skills are one of the important language skills to be mastered by students, so appropriate strategies or learning models are needed in their application. The research method used in this study is an experimental research method with a pretest-posttest control group design research design. The population in this research were students programme of study in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education  FKIP Unpas. The sample in this study was the first semester students Programme of Study in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education FKIP Unpas. Based on the results of data processing using the SPSS 25 application, the value of sig is obtained. (2-tailed) of 0,000 <0.05. This shows that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. Therefore, it can be interpreted that the learning outcomes, activities, and speaking skills of semester I students programme of study in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education FKIP Unpas increased in lectures on Theory and Practice of Listening Learning using Cooperative Script learning models.

Abstract

This research is motivated by learning conditions that are still not optimal, both process and learning outcomes. Therefore, we conducted a research to apply lesson study by using the Cooperative Learning method in Indonesian Language, in writing advertisement, slogans, and posters texts in class VIII of Pasundan 2 Junior High School Bandung. This research is expected to improve learning outcomes, activities and creativities. The research method used is an experimental method. The research subjects were students of Pasundan 2 Bandung Junior High School Class VIII C. This research was an implementation of plan, do and see. The validity of the data is done through triangulation techniques. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of lesson study using the Cooperative Learning method is carried out in accordance with the stages in the lesson study, namely plan, do and see. Lesson study makes the learning planning process more mature so that in the implementation of learning the model lecturer feels more prepared. Lesson Study can effectively improve the quality of learning, both processes and results. This can be seen from the test results which are tested on the average significant improvement. Likewise in the process, based on the observations made, the activity and creativity of students of Pasundan 2 Junior High School Bandung increased. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of lesson study with cooperative learning effectively increases the activity, creativity, and learning outcomes of students in Pasundan 2 Junior High School Bandung significantly.

Abstract

The author analyzed the pattern of presenting descriptions in the novel "Surat Kecil untukTuhan" by Agnes Davonar. The purpose of this study is to describe the pattern of presentation of static descriptions, patterns of presentation of moving descriptions, patterns of presentation of outline descriptions, and describing the results of studies on the pattern of presentation of descriptions in the novel "Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan" by Agnes Davonar can be used as a teaching material Indonesian for class XII learners based on the 2013 Curriculum. The research method use is descriptive qualitative method. Therefore, the data obtained in this study are not in the form of numbers, but in the form of descriptions or narratives. The results showed that in the novel "Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan" by Agnes Davonar, there were 9 patterns of description presentation including, 5 static patterns, 3 moving patterns, and 1 skeleton pattern. The results also showed that based on the results of the analysis of the suitability of study materials with the demands of the curriculum, the novel “Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan” can the results of the study have been validated by experts and declared worthy of use as teaching materials.
