Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah penduduk berperan besar dalam peningkatan jumlah sampah yang ditimbulkan. Salah satu daerah di Indonesia yang sudah menerapkan tata pengelolaan sampah agar dapat dimanfaatkan ialah Kota Tegal, melalui dinas lingkungan hidup Kota Tegal, pemerintah berupaya untuk menangani pengelolaan sampah, baik organik maupun non organik serta limbah berbahaya. Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Tegal masih didapati beberapa masalah seperti belum tersedianya gudang untuk menempatkan barang atau fasilitas yang jarang digunakan sehingga dapat menimbulkan pemborosan tempat, sehingga hal tersebut dapat menggangu pekerja dan termasuk dalam pemborosan tempat. Oleh karena itu masalah tersebut perlu diselesaikan. Pada penyelesaian masalah tersebut digunakan metode 5S. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang 5S dalam usaha pengurangan waste pada pengelolaan sampah di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Tegal. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, diketahui bahwa luas area pengelolaan sampah organik adalah 200 m2 dengan panjang 20 m dan lebar 10 m. Dalam penelitian ini area kerja pada pengelolaan sampah organik akan dirancang 5S dan memberikan usulan layout baru karena di TPST Akhir Mintaragen Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Tegal belum menerapkan 5S sehingga kurang tertatanya letak peralatan atau fasilitas di ruang kerja. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah telah dirancang 5S guna memperbaiki sistem kerja pada Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Tegal serta untuk menangani permasalahan yang ada di lokasi kerja.

Abstract

Solar Power Plants (PLTS) are electrical power generators that convert solar energy into electrical power. One of the companies engaged in electricity generation is PT. Brilliant Renewable Infrastructure. The problem that often occurs in PLTS is zero power in the combiner box. Zero power is a problem that often occurs which causes the energy produced by the PV module to not be optimal. The aim of this research is to analyze the causes of zero power in the combiner box. One way to find out the factors causing zero waste is to use a Problem Tree. Problem Tree is a methodology/technique used to identify the reasons for a problem. The results showed that the factors causing zero power in the combiner box were three causes, namely the cable gland installation was not tight enough, the DC cable was bitten by rats and the strings were not functioning. The impact of these 3 types of damage can cause zero power so that no electrical voltage is generated

Abstract

As a company that operates in the field of solar power system project development, of course there are many risks at PT Surya Utama Nuansa (SUN Energy), such as during installation and during maintenance. Therefore, employees are required to use personal protective equipment, but based on observations, potential dangers were found in the form of piles of damaged inverters or other materials in random locations and workers lifting solar panels alone, as well as scattered electrical cables. The aim of this research is to provide a solution to reduce the risk of work accidents. The method used in this research is the HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) method. Based on the results of the identification and assessment of potential hazards that have been carried out, there are 5 potential hazards, namely a moderate risk level of 27%, a high risk level of 20%, and an extreme risk level of 53%. And it is known that there is a 40% potential hazard in the work attitude classification. 20% on work procedure classification, and 40% on workplace classification. This shows that potential hazards in workplace classification require more attention in efforts to prevent work accidents. It is hoped that this research will implement health and safety at the PT project site. PP (Persero) has been repaired so that it can minimize the occurrence of work accidents while carrying out activities on the site.

Abstract

Quality is an important indicator of a product. PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the field of construction services, Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC), and Investment which is currently expanding its terminal and facilities at Lombok International Airport (BIL). Results Based on the inspection, various Defects were found in the steel such as cracked welded joints, peeling steel paint, thin paint thickness. This will have an impact if the steel roof truss structure is Defective, it will endanger the collapse of the building and the safety of visitors at BIL. Based on this, an analysis is carried out on the work of the steel pipe roof truss structure that occurs in the terminal expansion project and its supporting facilities so that recommendations for improvement can be made. This research was conducted using the Six Sigma method. The result of the research is that the main factor that causes failure is the steel pipe being stepped on during the installation of electrical installations. The proposed improvement to overcome these Defects is to provide ongoing counseling and training programs on worker compliance in carrying out work by the Standard Operating Procedures available in all work processes. It is hoped that by conducting this research, the company can better maintain quality so that the risk of building collapse and safety from incidents cannot be avoided.

Abstract

The K3 management system is part of the company management system in the context of risk control to minimize dangers in the workplace. Work accidents can cause losses in time, wealth, property and lives. Accidents have causes so it is necessary to control and repair work places, tools and processes. This research was conducted using the HIRARC (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control) method to identify hazards that can occur in each job. In the preparation of HIRARC it is divided into three stages, where the first stage is hazard identification, then risk assessment, and the next stage is the risk control stage. The result of hazard identification is that there are several potential hazards in the work place and attitude. After carrying out a risk assessment, the risk level obtained before controlling the shootcreet work process was carried out, namely very high risk while those with medium risk tended to be high and medium tended to be low. After control was carried out, it was found that the risk value had decreased to predominantly green or low. Control of potential hazards in the shootcreet work area is proposed in the form of an appeal to complete PPE, use APK properly and an appeal to pay more attention to occupational safety and health in every work process. Abstract

XYZ is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) engaged in the construction sector. One of the infrastructures currently being built by PT. XYZ is the Construction of the Lombok Peaker PLTMGU Jetty in Mataram. Based on the results of observations, it was found that there was a risk of danger to welding workers that could cause work-related illnesses in spun pile welding workers or piles, so further analysis is needed. This study aims to analyze work postures and complaints and provide suggestions for welding work at PT. XYZ on the Lombok Peaker PLTMGU jetty construction project. The methods used are the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), Nordic Body Map (NBM) and tree diagram methods. The results of the study obtained REBA on the first, second and fourth welders were at a high risk level. The results of the Nordic body map score for welder 1 are in the moderate category, meaning that corrective action may be needed. Several workers filled out complaints of pain in several parts of the body. The proposed improvements are adequate rest, adjusting the height of the pile to be welded to the height of the welder, the welder welding with a more upright body, and providing a chair for the welder. It is expected that this research can minimize the risk of work-related illness in welding work at PT. XYZ on the Lombok Peaker PLTMGU jetty construction project.

Abstract

Santosa Utama Lestari merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang pengolahan hasil pertanian berupa jagung yang dapat memproduksi jagung sebanyak 800-1000 ton/hari. PT. Santosa Utama Lestari mewajibkan karyawannya untuk menggunakan alat pelindung diri seperti helm safety, baju, sarung tangan, dan sepatu safety. Namun berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara masih ditemukan potensi terjadinya kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi di bagian intake jagung PT. Santosa Utama Lestari akibat pekerja tidak menggunakan alat pelindung diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi bahaya dan memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk meminimalisir risiko kecelakaan kerja pada bagian intake jagung PT. Santosa Utama Lestari. Metode yang digunakan yaitu HAZOP. HAZOP digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi risiko kecelakaan kerja serta menganalisis bahaya dan memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk meminimalisir risiko yang ada. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 6 potensi bahaya di PT. Santosa Utama Lestari di bagian Intake jagung dengan dua potensi level tingkat risiko extreme, tiga potensi level tingkat risiko high, dan satu potensi level tingkat risiko moderate. Usulan perbaikan yaitu dengan mengeliminasi risiko berbahaya, melakukan pengendalian teknik, mensubtitusi alat atau metode yang lebih baik, melakukan administrasi seperti pembuatan SOP dan penggunaan APD. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan solusi untuk mengurangi risiko terjadinya kecelakaan kerja di PT. Santosa Utama Lestari.

Abstract

Nindya Karya merupakan BUMN yang bergerak pada bidang jasa konstruksi yang melakukan pembangunan proyek pembuatan Bendungan Tiu Suntuk, yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, ditemukan penataan material di dalam gudang masih kurang tertata dan posisi yang tidak tentu yang dapat menyulitkan admin Gudang untuk mencari material yang dibutuhkan. Selain itu, tidak semua material masuk ke dalam gudang. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, perlu dilakukan kajian lebih lanjut untuk meminimalisir kerusakan material dan proses dalam pencarian barang akibat material yang tidak tertata. Penelitian ini dilakukan peningkatan kapasitas dan penataan gudang menggunakan metode class based storage. Metode class based storage dilakukan untuk memisahkan material berdasarkan jenis pekerjaan yang dilakukan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan peningkatan kapasitas gudang material dengan memperluas luas gudang yang sebelumnya berukuran 4,7 m x 10,6 m menjadi 14 m x 32 m. Hasil perancangan tata letak didapatkan usulan berupa pengelompokan material sesuai dengan jenis maupun ukuran material. Ada 3 kelas dalam pengelompokkan material, kelas pertama material padat dengan ukuran panjang 3-12 m, kelas kedua material padat dengan ukuran dibawah 3 m dan kelas ketiga material berbahan cair. Diharapkan dalam penelitian ini dapat menghindari kerusakan pada material dan memudahkan admin Gudang dalam mencari material yang akan digunakan.
