Abstract

Public transportation, especially Light Rail Transit (LRT), plays a vital role in supporting community mobility and economic growth. In Palembang, the LRT system is the main means of transportation that facilitates social interaction and efficient movement of goods. However, this service faces challenges such as not utilizing current technological advances or still relying on cash transactions and member cards that are vulnerable to loss, long queues at counters that cause a waste of time and limited access to real-time information.This research aims to implement the prototype method in developing a web information system to improve the service and efficiency of LRT in Palembang City. The proposed system will provide innovative features, including online ticket booking, problem reporting, and real-time train schedule tracking. The prototype method will be applied through the stages of requirements gathering, initial prototype design, user evaluation, and iterative system improvement. It is expected that the implementation of this system can increase the effectiveness of LRT services, simplify the ticket booking process, and accelerate access to information for users. This research aims to make a significant contribution in improving the quality of public transportation services in Palembang through the integration of information technology in the LRT system.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce in Indonesia, with platforms like Lazada and Bukalapak, has made User Experience (UX) a critical factor for success. This study aims to analyze and compare the UX of both applications using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method, which evaluates six dimensions: attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. A quantitative approach was applied, using a questionnaire distributed to 180 respondents aged 17-30 years. The results show that both applications received positive overall evaluations, with Lazada outperforming in terms of efficiency. These findings provide essential recommendations for developers to enhance the UX of e-commerce platforms.

Abstract

The web-based product marketing system in the photo gallery aims to increase the vision and accessibility of the products offered. The method used in developing this system is the System Development Life Cycle (SLDC), which includes planning, analysis, design, implementation and maintenance stages. This research aims to design and implement an information system that can make it easier for users to search for and obtain information related to products available in the gallery. The results of system development show significant improvements in market reach and marketing process efficiency, with users able to access product information more quickly and easily. With this system, it is hoped that the photo gallery can attract more customers and increase sales of the products offered.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and design a web-based sales information system for the Bakri Electronics Store. With the advancement of information technology and the internet, many companies have begun adopting web-based systems to facilitate their business processes. Currently, Bakri Electronics Store relies on manual transactions, requiring customers to visit the store in person. This research proposes an online sales system that allows customers to browse products, make purchases, and complete payments online, thereby expanding market reach and improving operational efficiency. The research methods used include interviews with the store owner and manager, as well as direct observations. The system is designed using the PHP platform with a MySQL database and hosted on AWS, providing real-time information on product availability, pricing, promotions, as well as payment and shipping processes. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance sales and customer convenience, while strengthening the interaction between sellers and buyers.

Abstract

Dalam era digital yang semakin berkembang, perusahaan dihadapkan pada pilihan platform cloud untuk mendukung infrastruktur web services mereka, di mana Amazon Web Services (AWS) dan Google Cloud Platform (GCP) merupakan platform layanan cloud terbesar di dunia. Kedua platform ini memiliki perbedaan mendasar dalam hal efisiensi biaya, performa, fleksibilitas, skalabilitas, dan kemudahan penggunaan, sehingga masalah utama yang dihadapi perusahaan adalah bagaimana memilih platform yang paling sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka. Dengan menggunakan metode literature review penulis menganalisis fitur-fitur utama yang ditawarkan oleh AWS dan GCP, serta membandingkan keduanya berdasarkan lima kriteria tersebut dengan tujuan memberikan panduan yang jelas bagi perusahaan dalam membuat pilihan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa GCP unggul dalam biaya dan kemudahan penggunaan, menjadikannya pilihan yang baik bagi pengguna baru dan perusahaan yang mencari solusi sederhana. Sebaliknya, AWS lebih cocok untuk perusahaan besar dengan kebutuhan fleksibilitas dan skalabilitas tinggi serta kontrol mendalam terhadap infrastruktur, terutama dalam hal keamanan melalui WAF. Sebagai saran, perusahaan yang mengutamakan biaya dan kemudahan sebaiknya mempertimbangkan GCP, sementara perusahaan dengan kebutuhan skala besar dan kontrol lebih kompleks disarankan memilih AWS, atau bahkan mempertimbangkan kombinasi dari keduanya untuk mengoptimalkan keunggulan masing-masing platform.

Abstract

This article discusses the effectiveness of Marketing Management Information System (MIS) in implementing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to increase customer loyalty in retail companies. In the midst of increasingly fierce business competition, the implementation of CRM is considered a strategic solution to strengthen relationships with customers. This research uses the literature review method to identify and analyze various relevant literature regarding the application of CRM and its impact on customer loyalty. Evaluation of CRM effectiveness can be done by comparing whether CRM implementation is effective in increasing customer loyalty compared to conditions without CRM. This comparison can be seen from the results of the literature review that has been collected. The results of the analysis show that the use of CRM can increase customer satisfaction and loyalty through better data management, more personalized interactions, and effective loyalty programs in its application. However, challenges in CRM implementation, such as system integration, employee training needs, and limited technology resources, are also identified. This article provides recommendations for the optimization of marketing management information systems through increased use of technology and continuous training for employees. With a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of CRM, it is expected that retail companies can improve their marketing strategies and create a sustainable competitive advantage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis evaluasi risiko dan memberikan rekomendasi penguatan infrastruktur teknologi informasi (TI) di PT Bintang Agung Persada menggunakan metode SWOT. Dalam era digital, TI menjadi fondasi utama bagi keberlangsungan dan daya saing perusahaan, khususnya di sektor manufaktur. Berdasarkan observasi, ditemukan berbagai permasalahan seperti ketiadaan backup data otomatis, segmentasi jaringan yang minim, serta keterbatasan sistem ERP lokal. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara informal, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis SWOT mengidentifikasi kekuatan berupa infrastruktur dasar yang telah ada, kelemahan dalam aspek keamanan dan manajemen TI, peluang peningkatan melalui implementasi teknologi baru, serta ancaman risiko downtime dan serangan siber. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan rekomendasi strategis seperti integrasi sistem ERP berbasis cloud, penerapan Active Directory, penggunaan UTM Firewall, segmentasi jaringan, sistem backup otomatis, serta kerja sama dengan konsultan TI eksternal. Implementasi rekomendasi ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat fondasi TI perusahaan dan mendorong transformasi digital yang lebih terstruktur dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

This article delves into the ways in which PT. Sinar Sosro utilizes product information system technology. One such business is PT Sinar Sosro, which specializes in tea-based soft beverages. When it comes to ready-to-drink tea in bottles, PT Sinar Sosro was an early pioneer in both Indonesia and the global market. This company produces a bottled tea drink called the Botol Sosro. Sosro bottled tea only uses original and natural ingredients. The tea leaves are picked from the plantation itself. Then, it is produced into fragrant tea, namely green tea mixed with jasmine flowers and gambier flowers. So that it produces a unique taste, its distinctiveness is always maintained, and its quality is guaranteed. The tea plantations that provide PT. Sinar Sosro with their raw materials are located in many parts of Indonesia, including the Cianjur, Galrut, Mount Rosa, Mount Manik, Mount Cempaka, Neglasari region, Cukul area, Pangelengan, and Sambawa areas. A number of PT Sinar Sosro's plants are located all across Indonesia. As it has grown, PT Sinar Sosro has expanded its product distribution throughout the archipelago via its network of sales branch offices. Beyond its home market, PT Sinar Sosro has expanded into international trade by supplying non-glass bottles and other one-way packaging items to various nations throughout the globe.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam lembaga pemerintahan menuntut adanya manajemen layanan teknologi informasi (MLTI) yang efektif untuk mendukung kelancaran operasional, khususnya di institusi strategis seperti Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU). Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen layanan TI di lingkungan KPU Provinsi Sumatera Selatan berdasarkan kerangka kerja IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada staf teknis TI KPU. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan 26 proses layanan dalam siklus hidup ITIL, meliputi tahap strategi layanan, desain layanan, transisi layanan, operasional layanan, dan perbaikan berkelanjutan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar proses layanan telah dijalankan secara fungsional, namun belum terdokumentasi dan terstandar secara menyeluruh. Beberapa sistem informasi utama yang digunakan seperti Sidalih, Silon, dan Sirekap telah mendukung layanan inti, namun masih memiliki kelemahan dari sisi dukungan teknis dan integrasi sistem. Studi kasus pada proses layanan helpdesk dan pendaftaran caleg melalui SILON memberikan gambaran tantangan dalam koordinasi internal dan proses layanan pengguna. Model RACI digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi peran dan tanggung jawab dalam setiap proses layanan. Rekomendasi strategis mencakup penguatan kebijakan TI, pengembangan sistem helpdesk terintegrasi, peningkatan dokumentasi prosedur, serta pembentukan tim layanan TI yang berbasis pada peran fungsional yang jelas. Diharapkan, temuan dan analisis ini dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan layanan TI yang lebih efisien, transparan, dan mendukung suksesnya pemilu yang akuntabel dan terpercaya di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas penggunaan teknologi Cloud Computing dalam mendukung keberlanjutan bisnis melalui pendekatan Agile serta tinjauan literatur. Cloud Computing menawarkan fleksibilitas, skalabilitas, dan efisiensi biaya yang berperan dalam meningkatkan daya saing bisnis. Penelitian ini berfokus pada platform Google Cloud, khususnya terkait dengan proses deployment, provisioning, dan pengelolaan infrastruktur data menggunakan Google Cloud SQL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Cloud Computing dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan fleksibilitas perusahaan, memungkinkan mereka merespons perubahan pasar dengan cepat. Artikel ini juga mengungkap tantangan yang dihadapi, seperti risiko keamanan data dan ketergantungan pada konektivitas internet. Pendekatan Agile memungkinkan implementasi yang lebih adaptif dan iteratif, mendukung kebutuhan bisnis yang terus berubah sepanjang proses pengembangan.
