Teachers have an important role in learning management. Since teachers carry out the teaching and learning process, their teaching effectiveness has a significant impact on the overall success of education. The findings of theoretical studies suggest that if teachers can fulfill their role as learning managers by using teaching and learning facilities to create learning situations, learning management in their functional duties will be carried out effectively and efficiently. The roles and responsibilities of teachers are very important in the field of education. “With all the changes in the quality of national education, it is difficult to isolate many of the issues related to the presence of instructors as they are the most important component of the teaching and learning process, both in formal and informal learning pathways. Learning is essentially a causal process, with the teacher as the main cause of student learning. Therefore, teachers must be able to determine the right learning strategy to encourage students to participate in learning activities actively, productively and effectively. Teachers must pay attention to their students' readiness, maturity, and behavior when teaching. Therefore, teachers have an important role and strategy to create a good and enjoyable learning environment and help students achieve goals as well as possible.

This article investigates the role of educational technology in improving the quality of learning in Indonesian schools in the digital era. Using qualitative methods, this study collects data from various literature sources to understand the impact of existing educational technology and its potential to improve the learning process. The results show that educational technology plays an important role in supporting interactive learning, facilitating access to information, and improving the quality of learning. However, its implementation is faced with a number of challenges, such as limited infrastructure, costs, and teacher skills in using technology. To overcome these challenges, efforts are needed to ensure adequate access to technology, develop teacher skills, and create regulations that support the use of technology in education. Thus, it is hoped that concrete recommendations can be produced to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of learning through the use of educational technology.

Kondisi belum bekerja atau menganggur di kalangan pemuda putus sekolah merupakan masalah serius yang dapat menghambat pembangunan desa. Desa Sungai Alam, yang berbatasan langsung dengan kampus Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis, menghadapi tantangan tersebut, di mana banyak pemuda usia produktif yang putus sekolah tidak memiliki keterampilan teknis untuk bersaing di dunia kerja. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberdayakan pemuda tersebut dengan memberikan keterampilan praktis pengelasan SMAW guna menciptakan peluang kerja dan wirausaha. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari tiga tahap utama: (1) identifikasi masalah dan persiapan sarana, (2) pelatihan selama tiga hari yang meliputi pemberian materi teori, demonstrasi alat, praktik keterampilan dasar, dan pembuatan produk sederhana, serta (3) evaluasi melalui observasi partisipasi dan penilaian hasil produk. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa 10 peserta pelatihan berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi dasar pengelasan mereka dan mampu menghasilkan produk sederhana seperti tempat duduk dari besi hollow. Antusiasme dan kepercayaan diri peserta juga meningkat signifikan, yang ditandai dengan keinginan untuk bekerja atau berwirausaha di bidang pengelasan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan berbasis praktik ini efektif sebagai langkah awal pemberdayaan ekonomi pemuda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara fasilitas perpustakaan sekolah dengan minat baca siswa di MAN 2 Palembang. Fasilitas perpustakaan yang memadai diharapkan mampu memberikan kenyamanan, kemudahan akses terhadap sumber belajar, serta meningkatkan ketertarikan siswa untuk membaca sehingga mendukung perkembangan budaya literasi dan keberhasilan proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 90 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas 20 butir pernyataan untuk variabel fasilitas perpustakaan dan 12 butir pernyataan untuk variabel minat baca siswa. Hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,928 untuk variabel X dan 0,879 untuk variabel Y, sehingga instrumen dinyatakan reliabel. Uji normalitas memperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,200 (>0,05) dan uji linearitas menunjukkan nilai deviation from linearity sebesar 0,623 (>0,05), yang berarti data berdistribusi normal dan hubungan kedua variabel bersifat linear. Hasil uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,977 dengan signifikansi 0,000 (<0,05), yang menunjukkan hubungan positif dan sangat kuat antara fasilitas perpustakaan dan minat baca siswa.

Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi manajemen pengembangan sumber daya manusia berbasis kompetensi dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital di pendidikan dasar. Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat menuntut guru untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guna mendukung pembelajaran dan pengelolaan pendidikan yang efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara semi terstruktur dengan kepala sekolah dan guru sebagai informan, dengan instrumen berupa pedoman wawancara dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan SDM dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu perencanaan program pengembangan kompetensi, pelaksanaan pelatihan berbasis teknologi dan pengembangan profesional, serta evaluasi secara berkala. Implementasi dilakukan melalui pelatihan teknologi pembelajaran, diskusi profesional, dan pendampingan oleh kepala sekolah.

This study aims to analyse the management of educational quality improvement through the optimisation of academic supervision by the headteacher at SMP Negeri 3 Palembang. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive design to gain an in-depth understanding of the planning, implementation and follow-up processes of academic supervision. The research subjects included the deputy headteacher for curriculum and subject teachers directly involved in supervision activities. Data collection was carried out through observation and in-depth interviews, followed by analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques, as well as triangulation to ensure data validity. The research findings indicate that academic supervision is carried out systematically through the stages of planning, implementation, monitoring, and follow-up. Supervision is conducted through classroom visits accompanied by constructive feedback and professional development for teachers. The optimisation of academic supervision contributes to the enhancement of teachers’ pedagogical competencies and the quality of the learning process, thereby effectively supporting the continuous improvement of educational quality.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of educational quality management in improving teacher performance at SD Negeri 172 Palembang. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a field research design. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation, involving the principal and teachers as informants. The data analysis technique begins with data collection, data presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the implementation of educational quality management at SD Negeri 172 Palembang has been carried out through systematic stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The application of quality management is also supported by a quality culture, academic supervision, and well-organized administrative systems. Teacher performance is categorized as fairly good, as indicated by the ability to plan, implement, and evaluate learning processes. However, there are still several obstacles such as limited facilities and suboptimal use of technology. The implementation of educational quality management has proven to have a positive impact on improving teacher performance, particularly in terms of professionalism, discipline, and learning quality. The limitation of this study lies in its scope, as it was conducted in only one school, so the results cannot yet be widely generalized. The recommendation is that the school should strengthen continuous evaluation, teacher training, and collaboration among school members so that the implementation of quality management becomes more effective in improving teacher performance.

This study aims to analyze teachers’ perceptions of the implementation of Digital-Based Management Information Systems (MIS) and the Love-Based Curriculum (LBC) at MAN 1 Palembang and to identify the factors influencing their implementation. This research employed a qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that teachers’ perceptions of MIS range from positive to skeptical, influenced by digital competence, infrastructure readiness, and training quality. In contrast, LBC is generally perceived positively due to its alignment with Islamic values, although challenges remain in terms of operationalization and consistency. Factors such as principal leadership, organizational culture, incentive systems, personal value alignment, and peer communication significantly influence perception and implementation success. These findings highlight that successful educational innovation requires a holistic strategy involving teacher capacity building, infrastructure support, and transformational leadership.

This study was motivated by the importance of the quality of learning facilities and infrastructure in supporting effective and optimal learning processes in higher education. The study aimed to analyze students’ perceptions of the quality of learning facilities and infrastructure available at the university. This research employed a quantitative approach using questionnaires distributed to students as the data collection technique. The research instrument consisted of closed-ended questionnaires developed based on indicators of learning facilities and infrastructure quality. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques to determine the level of student satisfaction and assessment of the available facilities. The findings revealed that students generally had positive perceptions regarding the quality of learning facilities and infrastructure. However, several aspects still require improvement, including the completeness of facilities, the comfort of learning spaces, and access to learning support technology. This study contributes to the development of educational service quality through continuous improvement of facilities and infrastructure to support the success of the learning process in higher education.
