Abstract

This study discusses the da'wah communication approach implemented by the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM) through the use of social media as a means of spreading Islamic messages. Applying a descriptive qualitative method, information was obtained through interviews with three key figures of IMM Sinjai Branch. The study results show that IMM actively produces da'wah content in the form of religious quotes, educational videos, and Islamic writings that are tailored to current digital media trends and the preferences of the younger generation. Social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube have become the primary choices due to their ability to reach audiences visually and interactively. The main challenges faced include the lack of enthusiasm among cadres towards da'wah content and the limited technical skills in content design. However, IMM demonstrates dedication through the organization of training, enhancement of digital literacy, and openness to public input to improve the quality of its preaching. This research emphasizes the need for a creative, contextual, and adaptive approach to preaching in response to the development of information technology to effectively target the younger generation

Abstract

Humans are inseparable creatures. Empathy is the ability to feel and understand the feelings, thoughts and experiences of other people. It involves the ability to put oneself in another person's shoes and see the world from their perspective. The aim of this research is to find out how the implementation of character education strengthens character education in schools, the factors that support and hinder character education in schools, the role of teachers in character education in schools, and the implementation of empathetic character education outside the classroom. Data collection techniques are interviews and observation. The analysis is qualitative descriptive. The results of the study show that learning Islamic Religious Education at school can improve student behavior in the educational environment. The ability to empathize is built through learning experiences, education and socialization. Educators can plan teaching and learning activities that encourage empathetic behavior in students. Role playing, discussions, helping each other, group work and questions and answers are examples of learning activities that are considered important for fostering empathetic behavior Keywords:  Character; Empathy; Pie Learning.

Abstract

Kehadiran suatu lembaga pendidikan merupakan suatu langkah yang tepat dalam mengelola pembelajaran dengan menggabungkan antara peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus dengan peserta didik yang tidak memiliki kelainan sedikitpun. Olehnya itu, tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pendidikan inklusif pada mata pelajaran PAI. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan naturalistik. Teknik pengumpulan datayang digunakan adalah wawancara. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah a) reduksi data, b) penyajian data, dan c) penarikan kesimpulan. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah guru PAI dan wakasek kurikulum dengan jumlah 5 orang. Sedangkan yang menjadi objek dalam penelitian ini adalah implementasi pembelajaran inklusif pada Mata Pelajaran PAI di SMA Negeri 2 Sinjai. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) pelaksanaan pendidikan inklusif melalui metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi dan diselingi dengan ice breaking, Model pendidikan inklusif yang diterapkan yakni model kelas regular (inklusi penuh). 2) Faktor Pendukung, adanya penerimaan anak normal atas keterbatasan temannya, adanya kontribusi orang tua dalam menyampaikan kondisi anaknya. Sedangkan faktor penghambat, tidak adanya pelatihan, workshop, seminar, khusus bagi guru dalam menghadapi anak yang berkebutuhan khusus, serta tidak adanya guru yang ditugaskan untuk mendampingi khusus, selain itu tidak terdapat sarana dan prasarana khusus bagi anak yang mengalami kebutuhan khusus.

Abstract

This study aims: 1) To determine the suitability of the application of lesson plans and lessons in PAI subjects in class XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai Utara; 2) Describe the applicability of lesson plans in the implementation of PAI thematic learning in class XI MIPA 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 North Sinjai. This research uses the Mix Method research method (a research method that combines quantitative and qualitative research which is carried out simultaneously at the same time). Data collection techniques, namely interviews and questionnaires (questionnaire). Data analysis has two stages, namely quantitative data analysis using simple statistical methods in the form of formulations of conformity of lesson plans with implementation of learning and analysis of qualitative data consisting of data reduction, presentation and graphing. conclusion Invest educators in planning, assembling and implementing lesson plans if the learning process reaches its goals. This is evidenced by the acquisition of a questionnaire worth 8.20 with very appropriate criteria. In addition, based on the interview material, it can be described that there is continuity between the Learning Implementation Plan and the implementation of learning, for example in preliminary assignments, core activities and final activities. For quantitative and qualitative data mutually reinforcing, the suitability of the lesson plan for carrying out the study of PAI subjects in class XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai Utara is very suitable.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are an important sector in the Indonesian economy, but often face challenges in improving product branding. This article discusses a community service project carried out by students and lecturers at Ahmad Dahlan Sinjai Islamic University in Lappacinrana Village, Sinjai Regency, South Sulawesi, from January to March 2024. This program aims to increase MSME players' understanding of branding strategies as a means of business expansion. Activities are carried out through direction, coaching and training with a participatory approach. The results show increased awareness of MSME participants about the importance of branding to strengthen product identity and increase competitiveness in the market. Participants are also able to design branding strategies according to the local characteristics of their products. This project makes a real contribution in empowering MSMEs as drivers of village economic growth and opens up market expansion opportunities for local products.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengkaji pengembangan sistem konversi tulisan tangan ke teks digital menggunakan metode deep learning dengan mengombinasikan arsitektur Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), YOLOv8, dan Connectionist Temporal Classification (CTC). Dataset yang digunakan terdiri dari 700 citra tulisan tangan huruf kapital (A–Z) yang diperoleh dari dokumen resmi Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Barru. Tahapan penelitian meliputi prapemrosesan citra berupa grayscale, normalisasi, perataan teks, serta augmentasi data, dilanjutkan dengan anotasi bounding box menggunakan Roboflow. Dataset kemudian dibagi menjadi data pelatihan, validasi, dan pengujian. Model YOLOv8 dilatih untuk mendeteksi karakter dan hasilnya diproses menggunakan CTC untuk menghasilkan teks akhir. Evaluasi menunjukkan performa yang baik dengan precision 98,38%, recall 87,25%, F1-score 92,44%, serta mAP@0.5 sebesar 87,19%. Hasil ini menunjukkan metode yang diusulkan efektif untuk mendukung digitalisasi dokumen administrasi publik.Kata Kunci: YOLOv8, Konversi Tulisan Tangan, Deep Learning, Citra Digital, Administrasi Publik, Roboflow, CNN, CTC ABSTRACTThis study investigates the development of a handwritten text-to-digital text conversion system using deep learning by combining Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), YOLOv8, and Connectionist Temporal Classification (CTC) architectures. The dataset consists of 700 images of uppercase handwritten letters (A–Z) obtained from official documents of the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Barru Regency. The research stages include image preprocessing such as grayscale conversion, normalization, text alignment, and data augmentation, followed by bounding box annotation using Roboflow. The dataset is then divided into training, validation, and testing sets. The YOLOv8 model is trained to detect characters, and the outputs are processed using CTC to generate the final text. Evaluation results demonstrate strong performance, achieving a precision of 98.38%, recall of 87.25%, an F1-score of 92.44%, and an mAP@0.5 of 87.19%. Abstract

Teachers as the spearhead of the educational process, play a strategic role in creating and maintaining a conducive learning climate. This study aims to describe the strategies of Fiqh teachers in creating a conducive classroom climate at MIN 1 Sinjai and the obstacles faced in its implementation. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, and data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The study revealed that the strategic steps of Fiqh teachers include: (1) building harmonious relationships with students through open communication and empathy; (2) providing a clean, comfortable, and adaptable physical classroom environment; (3) encouraging interaction between students based on Islamic values ​​such as mutual respect and mutual cooperation; (4) motivating student activity through various assignments, group discussions, and question and answer sessions; and (5) implementing discipline through mutually agreed rules and giving awards for student achievements. The main challenges include the variety of student characters and abilities, plus less obedient students, so patience and a flexible teaching approach are needed to maintain a conducive classroom climate. This strategy has proven crucial in creating a safe, orderly, and optimal classroom atmosphere for successful Fiqh learning. The implications of this research for Islamic jurisprudence teachers are the need for teacher training in inclusive classroom strategies, the development of an interaction-based curriculum for Islamic education, and continuous evaluation to overcome obstacles to student character, in order to create productive and adequate learning.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. This approach was chosen to gain a deep understanding of the use of technology in the Islamic education process, both from the perspective of educators, students, and other supporting systems. Data collection was carried out through several techniques as follows: Observation: to directly observe how technology is used in learning activities, in-depth interviews: conducted with teachers, students, and institutional managers to explore perceptions, experiences, and challenges in the use of technology and documentation in the form of photos, policy documents, lesson schedules, or digital-based learning materials used in Islamic education. The collected data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis technique, namely through three stages: Data reduction: filtering and summarizing important data from the results of observations and interviews. Data presentation: compiling data in the form of descriptive narratives or tables. The results of the study can be concluded that the use of technology in Islamic education has brought significant changes in the learning process, both in terms of methods, media, and accessibility of Islamic information. Technology is an effective means of supporting learning that is more interactive, flexible, and in accordance with the needs of the times.

Abstract

This research examines the effectiveness of scientific writing training in improving participants' writing skills. The training method is a direct practice approach with mentoring, intensive training, discussion, and reflection sessions. The instruments used to measure writing ability before and after training are scientific writing assessment rubrics and self-assessment questionnaires. The research results showed a significant increase in participants' writing abilities after attending the training. Before the training, most participants had limited writing skills, especially in writing structure, data presentation, and scientific argumentation. However, after the training, participants significantly improved written structure, argumentation clarity, and analysis depth. Apart from that, this training also helped participants to develop a critical attitude towards literature and hone their ability to integrate knowledge from various sources to support the argument. Participants also received positive responses regarding the interactive training methods and in-depth approach to scientific writing techniques. This research concludes that scientific writing training effectively improves participants' writing skills. Therefore, it is recommended that similar training focusing on various aspects of scientific writing be carried out to support the development of participants' academic and professional competencies.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) are educational institutions that provide religious knowledge to their students. However, apart from that, Islamic boarding schools have a significant contribution to the survival of their alumni. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of Islamic boarding schools in developing entrepreneurship among students at the Darul Ihsan Salohe Islamic Boarding School. In this study, the method used is a qualitative method that involves several data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. To analyze the data, the researcher used several steps, namely data reduction: data is collected and processed to reduce its complexity. Data presentation: The reduced data is presented in a form that is easy to understand and then conclusions are drawn. The results of this study found that the Darul Ihsan Salohe Islamic Boarding School facilitates its students to become entrepreneurs to earn their own income. This is very useful for students because they can earn money from these businesses without burdening their parents. In addition, the economy at the Islamic Boarding School can be improved by the existence of this business unit.
