Abstract

This training aims to enhance the creativity, productivity, and economic well-being of rural communities by developing skills in ecoprint making. The activity is designed as an effort to empower the community, especially women, so that they are capable of producing marketable products. The training method combines theoretical material delivery with hands-on practice, allowing participants to both understand the basic concepts of ecoprint and apply them in real life. The primary target of this activity is the women of the PKK (Family Welfare Movement) in Ponowareng Village, who have great potential to become agents of change in developing family-based economic initiatives. The ecoprint training in Ponowareng Village was carried out through stages of planning, preparation of materials and tools, and the selection of a suitable venue. The program targets PKK women as the main participants, with the goal of improving their skills and creativity in producing marketable goods. The training method involves a combination of material presentations and live demonstrations. Participants practiced the ecoprint process from arranging leaves to soaking the fabric in an alum solution. The outcomes of the training are expected to foster entrepreneurial potential and improve community welfare. Keywords: ecoprint; entrepreneurship; creativity

Abstract

Stunting is one of the major public health issues in Indonesia that requires serious attention from various stakeholders. It is a growth and developmental disorder in children caused by chronic malnutrition, recurrent infections, and inadequate psychosocial stimulation. Children are classified as stunted if their height-for-age is below minus two standard deviations from the World Health Organization (WHO) child growth standards. One of the community-level strategies to prevent and reduce stunting is the consumption of nutritious foods rich in protein and fiber, such as shrimp croquettes. Shrimp croquettes are a nutritious, easy-to-make household food product that holds potential as an alternative dietary solution in efforts to combat stunting in Indonesia. This community engagement program focuses on empowering local residents through training in the preparation of shrimp croquettes as an affordable and practical healthy food option. The program is expected not only to enhance participants’ understanding of balanced nutrition in stunting prevention but also to encourage the adoption of sustainable and independent healthy eating practices. Evaluating changes in community knowledge and behavior regarding nutrition before and after the program is essential to measure the effectiveness of the intervention and to inform the development of future community service initiatives. Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi pemasaran digital dan fisik yang diterapkan oleh pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Desa Gatak, Kecamatan Delanggu, dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan perluasan pasar. Pendekatan pengabdian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan media sosial seperti Instagram, TikTok, dan WhatsApp Business, Google My Business, Blog Informasi, Foto Produk, Google maps, Pencatatan keuangan dengan digital menjadi sarana efektif untuk promosi digital, sedangkan pemasaran fisik dilakukan melalui penjualan lompya duleg langsung di pasar lokal dan pameran produk. Sinergi antara pemasaran digital dan fisik terbukti mampu memperkuat brand awareness, meningkatkan penjualan, serta memperluas jangkauan konsumen. Temuan ini memberikan rekomendasi strategi terpadu bagi UMKM desa untuk memaksimalkan potensi lokal melalui kombinasi teknologi dan interaksi tatap muka.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis pada balita yang berdampak pada pertumbuhan fisik, perkembangan kognitif, dan produktivitas masa depan. Di Kelurahan Panggung Lor, Semarang Utara, meskipun jumlah kasus relatif lebih rendah, proporsi balita stunting masih tinggi. Untuk mendukung percepatan penurunan stunting, mahasiswa Universitas Diponegoro melaksanakan program KELITA (Kelas Ibu Balita) yang berfokus pada edukasi gizi, pola asuh, serta perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS). Program ini melibatkan 16 ibu balita melalui pemeriksaan kesehatan, penyampaian materi interaktif, diskusi, dan kuis edukatif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan skor pengetahuan rata-rata dari 41 menjadi 88. Kolaborasi lintas sektor menjadi kunci keberhasilan, meski terdapat tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu peserta dan rendahnya pengetahuan awal. KELITA terbukti efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu dan berpotensi direplikasi di wilayah lain untuk mendukung target nasional penurunan stunting.

Abstract

Ginger is known to contain various bioactive compounds, including phenolics (gingerol, shogaol, paradol). Several studies have shown that ginger extract is often added to ice puter to obtain healthier food product. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the result of adding ginger (Zingiber officinale Rosc.) extract with different concentration on antioxidant activity, total phenol content, overrun, hedonic test, and shelf life of ice puter. The study were conducted from November 2023 - February 2024 at Diponegoro University. The research design was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications, leading to a total of 20 experiment units. The experiment was conducted by adding ginger extract with different concentrations, namely P1 (0%), P2 (0.5%), P3 (1%), and P4 (1.5%). Shelf-life prediction was carried out with 3 replicates, leading to 9 experiment units for different storage temperatures (-5 °C, -18 °C, -22 °C). The sample selected from the hedonic test, P1 (0.5%) was evaluated for 28 days with changes in parameters of free fatty acid and emulsion stability. This result shows that the addition of ginger extract at various concentrations had significant effect on overrun, while, treatment P1 and P2 did not have significant effect on color and aroma. The addition of ginger extract increased antioxidant activity and total phenol content. In addition, the ice putter added with 0.5% ginger extract was the ice putter most preferred by panelists and had a shelf life of 210 days at -22°C, based on changes in free fatty acid during storage.

Abstract

Muktiharjo Kidul merupakan salah satu kelurahan di Kecamatan Pedurungan, Kota Semarang yang rentan terhadap banjir akibat penurunan muka tanah dan kenaikan muka air laut. Wilayah ini merupakan daerah cekungan sehingga air mengalir dan menumpuk dari berbagai kelurahan disekitarnya. Permasalahan ini melebar ke segala aspek seperti lingkugan, ekonomi, dan kesehatan. Sampah, penyakit, dan penurunan aktivitas ekonomi akibat banjir telah dirasakan oleh warga Muktiharjo Kidul selama beberapa tahun. Permasalahan ini tidak pernah benar-benar berakhir sehingga membutuhkan strategi-strategi yang ada dari segala sisi. Tim pengabdian dari KKN-T 138 Universitas Diponegoro mengajak warga Muktiharjo Kidul untuk terlibat aktif dalam strategi cerdas menghadapi banjir. Tiga topik utama yaitu pemetaan zona rawan banjir, edukasi kesehatan, dan pengelolaan sampah anorganik diberikan kepada warga-warga di wilayah Muktiharjo Kidul. Anak-anak, remaja, dan ibu-ibu PKK di wilayah Muktiharjo Kidul antusias dalam pelaksanaan edukasi dan praktik interaktif yang dilaksanakan oleh tim pengabdian. Hasil dari pengabdian ini dapat terlihat dari peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan serta kemandirian dalam menjaga lingkungan sekitar.

Abstract

Individuals consume green tea according to their needs and desires. Product evaluations reflect consumer preferences and influence consumer attitudes. The purpose of this study was to examine consumer characteristics, and identify factors influencing consumer preferences for green tea. The study location was Banyumas Regency, Central Java, from June to July 2025. This study used a survey method with a sample selected through multistage random sampling. Respondents consisted of 120 green tea consumers. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and principal component analysis (PCA). The results showed that most green tea consumers were women of various ages. Furthermore, married consumers purchased green tea to share with their families. Most consumers had a bachelor's degree and earned more than IDR 3,500,000. Regarding consumption habits, on average, individuals drank green tea once a day with breakfast. The average monthly consumption was 50 grams, which they shared with their families. Green tea was usually purchased once a month at supermarkets, with an average of 50 grams. Preference for green tea was shaped by three main factors: the value attached to tea (character), appearance (identity), and product image.
