Abstract

Betta edithae is one of the native freshwater fish species found on Bangka Island. This species has the potential to be developed as an ornamental fish because it has a unique and attractive body shape. However, its presence in nature is currently threatened by environmental degradation, habitat loss or change, introduction of foreign fish and overexploitation. The existence of Betta edithae species in Bangka Island, especially in Central Bangka and South Bangka districts, has never been reported scientifically. Therefore, the description of Betta edithae species in Central Bangka Regency and South Bangka Regency needs to be analyzed based on morphological aspects. This study aims to determine the morphological characteristics of Betta edithae species found in Central Bangka and South Bangka. The research method was carried out qualitatively with an exploratory descriptive approach. The results of the study show that the morphological characterization of Betta edithae found in Central Bangka and South Bangka districts shows that both fish have the same morphology. Morphometric character measurements of Betta edithae fish found in Central Bangka and South Bangka show that Betta edithae fish found in Central Bangka have a total length of 4.36 cm, which is greater than Betta edithae found in South Bangka. The meristic characters of Betta edithae fish found in the Central Bangka district are D.I.8, A.23, P.8, V.I.4, C.12. The meristic characters of Betta edithae fish found in South Bangka district are D.I.7, A.23, P.6, V.1.4, C.12.

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 has begun to develop in aquaculture activities by utilizing the internet of things (IoT) in the last decade. The increase in intensive shrimp farming on Bangka Island in recent years is still conventional witfar from the use of digital and internet-based technology, especially vaname shrimp farming, including the Bio Ebi Micro Pokdakan in Air Mawar Village. This activity aims to design a water quality monitoring system that can be used in vaname shrimp aquaculture ponds. The main components in designing a remote-based pond water quality monitoring system consist of sensors, processing, data transmission, data storage and display. The activity has started with the design of a water quality monitoring tool in October - November 2022 in the Instrumentation and Acoustics Section of the Marine Science Laboratory at Bangka Belitung University which is then used by partners to monitor water quality conditions in shrimp ponds at Pokdakan Mikro Bio Ebi partners

(pp. 564-569).  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Blue Tepalak/Tempalak fish (Betta schalleri) is a freshwater fish with potential as an ornamental fish which is in endangered conservation status (Endangered; EN). Until now, the existence of Betta schalleri fish in nature is thought to be increasingly difficult to find due to a decrease in habitat quality. This research aimed to examine the morphomeristic characteristics of the Schalleri Betta fish found in the waters of Bangka Island. Data collection for this research was located in the waters of Bencah Village, Air Gegas District, South Bangka Regenc. Information regarding the existence of the Betta schalleri’s natural habitat was obtained from the surrounding community. A total of 15 individual fish were successfully obtained from the research location. Fish samples showed meristic character D.II.8; P.11-12; V.I-II.4; A.II.24; C.13; LL.31. The morphometrics show a total length of 5,44 cm – 6, 20 cm, standard length 3,98 cm – 4,55 cm, head length 1,16 cm – 1,48 cm, head height 0,87 cm – 1,10 cm, and body height 1,04 cm – 1,28 cm. Based on the results of research on the meristic and morphomeristic identification of the schalleri betta fish, similarities were found to the schalleri betta fish described by Kottelat & Ng (1994). So it can add to the completeness of the morphomer data for schalleri betta fish from Bangka Island.

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Wild Betta (Betta Schalleri) is a nature betta fish which is generally knows as tepalak/tempalak which is spread in the waters of Bangka Belitung Island, and its existence is now increasingly difficult to find in its natural habitat. This research aimed to examine the conditions of the aquatic environment and ecology to determine the characteristics of the natural habitat which can be the main factor in the existence of Wild Betta fish (B. Schelleri). Since its existence is difficult to find in its natural habitat, it is necessary to conduct an assessment of the condition of the aquatic environment and its ecology in order to carry out the conservation phase. Research carried out in the rivers of Bangka district in July – October 2023 discusses the ecology of Wild Betta (B. Schalleri), the results showed that in general Betta Schalleri inhabits peat swamp waters and small waterways with low pH which are grown with aquatic plants are Pandanus sp, Cryptocorine sp, Hydrilla sp, Vellisnaria sp, and Utrikularia sp, and have aslightly brownish water color with a wet soil substrate texture containing peat. In this study, water quality measurements were carried out and the values obtained were Temperatu Water conditions and ecology are needed to determine the characteristics of the natural habitat which can be the main factor in the existence of Wild Betta fish (B. Schalleri). re (31°C), pH (4 -5), and also found several biota associated with Betta Schalleri.

Abstract

Peningkatan padat tebar adalah salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kinerja produksi pada budidaya ikan cupang hias endemik serban malem (Betta rubra Perugia 1893). Kegiatan ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh padat tebar yang berbeda terhadap sintasan dan pertumbuhan ikan serban malem (Betta rubra Perugia 1893) hasil domestikasi. Kegiatan penelitian ini dilakukan di laboratorium sistem dan teknologi akuakultur, Program Studi Akuakultur, Universitas Teuku Umar. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara eksperimental dengan menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap. Penelitian padat tebar ini dilakukan dengan empat perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan padat tebar yang dilakukan adalah 1 ekor/liter (P1), 2 ekor/liter (P2), 3 ekor/liter (P3) dan 4 ekor/liter (P4). Pelaksanaan kegiatan penelitian selama 60 hari. Hasil proksimat pakan yang diberikan mengandung protein 31,27%, karbohidrat 44,63%, lemak 4,63%, serat 2,56%, kadar abu 13,03% dan kadar air 3,89%. Pemberian pakan dilakukan dengan frekuensi dua kali sehari yaitu pagi dan sore hari. Pengoleksian data penelitian dilakukan pada awal dan akhir penelitian. Analisis data menggunakan analisis varians dengan selang kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa padat tebar ikan yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) pada sintasan dan pertumbuhan ikan serban malem (Betta rubra Perugia 1893) hasil doemstikasi. Padat tebar terbaik untuk sintasan dan pertumbuhan ikan serban malem adalah perlakuan 1 ekor/liter (P1).

Abstract

Fish farming skills and their processed products are new knowledge for the pesantren environment. The purpose of this community service activity (PKM) is to transfer knowledge about tilapia cultivation and the application of making processed fish jerky products to ustadz and clerics at the Daarul Hasanah Islamic Boarding School Balunijuk. This PKM activity was carried out from April to October 2020, starting from preparation, rearing tilapia to the application of making processed fish jerky products. The rearing of tilapia took place in KJT, a land pool belonging to the Daarul Hasanah Islamic Boarding School, Balunijuk Village, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The manufacture of processed beef jerky or fish kere is carried out around the Daarul Hasanah Islamic Boarding School. The participatory method is carried out which emphasizes the role and participation of Islamic boarding schools as mentors in carrying out tilapia cultivation activities and the application of processed products of beef jerky or tilapia kere. The results obtained are that mentoring for pesantren regarding tilapia cultivation and the application of making processed products of fish jerky can guide towards entrepreneurs who have good moral character. Transfer of knowledge about tilapia cultivation and the application of making processed products of fish jerky can increase knowledge to ustadz and clerics at the Daarul Hasanah Balunijuk Islamic Boarding School related to KJT technology, tilapia rearing techniques including calculation of fish growth, water quality measurement, technical feeding, skills to process fish support the soft skills of students and ustadz so that they can grow new businesses for pesantren. Abstrak. Keterampilan melakukan budidaya ikan dan hasil olahannya merupakan pengetahuan baru bagi lingkungan pesantren. Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) adalah alih pengetahuan mengenai implementasi wirausaha dengan budidaya ikan nila dan pembuatan produk olahan dendeng ikan di Pesantren Daarul Hasanah Balunijuk. Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan April hingga Oktober 2020, mulai dari persiapan, pembesaran ikan nila hingga membuat produk olahan dendeng ikan. Pembesaran ikan nila bertempat di Keramba Jaring Tancap (KJT) di kolam tanah milik Pesantren Daarul Hasanah Desa Balunijuk, Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Pembuatan produk olahan dendeng atau kere ikan dilakukan di sekitar Pesantren Daarul Hasanah. Metode partisipatif dilakukan dimana menekankan pada peran dan partisipasi pengelola pesantren sebagai binaan dalam melakukan kegiatan wirausaha dengan budidaya ikan nila dan membuat produk olahan dendeng atau kere ikan nila. Hasil yang diperoleh dimana pendampingan terhadap pesantren mengenai wirausaha dengan budidaya ikan nila dan pembuatan produk olahan dendeng ikan dapat membimbing ke arah wirausahawan yang berahlaqul karimah. Alih pengetahuan mengenai budidaya ikan nila dan membuat produk olahan dendeng ikan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan kepada ustadz dan ustadzah di Pesantren Daarul Hasanah Balunijuk terkait teknologi KJT, teknis pembesaran ikan nila termasuk perhitungan pertumbuhan ikan, pengukuran kualitas air, teknis pemberian pakan, keterampilan mengolah ikan yang menunjang soft skill santri dan ustadz sehingga dapat menumbuhkan usaha baru bagi pesantren.

Abstract

Betta burdigala is a type of endemic fish from Bangka Island. The Betta burdigala on Bangka Island is threatened with extinction, with Critically Endangered (CR) status. The decline in the Betta burdigala fish population is caused by habitat degradation and environmental damage. The existence of Betta burdigala fish has never been reported in waters other than Bangka Island. This research aimed to described the morphometric and meristic characteristics of Betta burdigala fish from South Bangka waters as a basis for the conservation and development of aquaculture. The method used in this research is observation, with direct measurement, and observation of morphometric and meristic characters as well as literature studies to identify the morphology of Burdigala betta. The results of this research showed that the morphological characters of Betta burdigala have a mixed form. The shape of the tail fin of the Betta burdigala is round (spherical).. This type of fish's mouth is terminal (located in the anterior middle of the head). The type of scales it has is cosmoid shaped. The average morphometric characters measured were TL(28.25mm), SL(22.05mm), HL(6.15mm), ED(1.5mm), IW(1.6mm), BD(3.8mm), PDL(1.3mm), DBL(7.6mm), DFH(5.8mm), PAL(9.2mm), ABL(10.85), CPD(3.25mm), LUCL(5mm), LMCL(4 .5mm), LCLL(4.1mm). The average meristic character of the Betta burdigala fish is that the dorsal fin rays have the formula D.XIV, the anal fin rays have the formula A.XXV. The caudal fin radius has the formula C.XIII.

Abstract

Ikan betok merupakan salah satu spesies ikan lokal yang potensial untukdibudidayakan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji dan mengevaluasi pengaruh pemberianpakan berbahan baku keong mas (Pomacea canaliculata) terhadap tingkat kematangan gonad.Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juli – Agustus 2018. Ikan betok (A. testudineus) berasal daritangkapan alam di perairan persawahan desa Rias Kecamatan Toboali Kabupaten BangkaSelatan. Ikan betok yang digunakan sebanyak 150 ekor dengan bobot 2 ± 10 gram. Perlakuanyang diberikan pakan buatan yang berbahan baku keong mas (P. canaliculata) dengankandungan protein pada pakan 32%, 34%, 36%, 38% dan kontrol menggunakan pakankomersil dengan kandungan protein 31 – 33%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai IndeksKematangan Gonad (IKG) dengan bobot gonad pada awal penelitian sebesar 0,5 gram.Setelah dilakukan perlakuan dengan pemberian pakan buatan berbahan baku tepung keongmas (P. canaliculata), hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bawa kontrol berbeda nyata denganperlakuan pada pengamatan GSI dengan kisaran nilai 16% ± 0.02 pada perlakuan P.38%, HSIdengan kisaran nilai 8% ± 0.01 pada perlakuan P.38%. Fekunditas ikan betok (A. testudineus)yang didapatkan pada hasil penelitian dengan kisaran 509 - 4.686 butir. Perkembangan tingkatkematangan gonad (TKG) awal penelitian (TKG II) setelah diberi pakan buatan berbahanbaku keong mas (P. canaliculata) meningkat dengan tingkat kematangan gonad mencapaitahap IV.

Abstract

Freshwater ornamental fish commodities are in great demand by people in Indonesia, one of which is guppy fish (Poecilia reticulata). Guppies are very popular because they are easy to maintain and have beautiful color variations, especially for male guppy fish. The constraint in guppies cultivation is that the number of male chicks produced is usually lower than the number of females. The use of mensirak leaf extract is thought to be used in the process of masculinizing guppies. This study was conducted to determine the best dose of mensirak leaf extract to increase male sex ratio in guppies. The method used in this study is an experimental method using a single Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 levels of treatment consisting of 3 replications. The immersion doses of female guppy broodstock used were P1 (2 mg/L), P2 (4 mg/L), P3 (6 mg/L), positive control 17?-methyltestosterone (2 mg/L) and negative control (0 mg/L). L). The results showed that the use of mensirak leaf extract immersing pregnant mothers had a significant effect on the percentage of male sex with the best concentration of 2 mg/L (45.93±27.19%). The masculinization of guppies using mensirak leaf extract on the immersion of pregnant guppy broodstock had a significant effect on the percentage of male sex. The best dose for immersing pregnant guppies using mensirak leaf extract was obtained in treatment P1 with a dose of 2mg/L, which resulted in the percentage of male sex being 45.93±27.19%.

Abstract

Cara budidaya ikan yang baik adalah program dibidang perikanan budidaya bagi masyarakat dalam rangka menjamin keamanan pangan hasil perikanan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: Mengkaji implementasi CBIB pada industri tambak udang di Kabupaten Bangka Selatan. Penelitian akan dilaksanakan di tambak udang skala industri di Kabupaten Bangka Selatan pada Bulan Agustus-Oktober 2022. Teknik pemilihan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive sampling), dengan pertimbangan wilayah pengembangan budidaya udang di Kabupaten Bangka Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei, yaitu penelitian yang sumber data dan informasi utamanya diperoleh dari responden sebagai sampel penelitian menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan teknik sampling purposive. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengelola tambak udang yang sudah beroperasi lebih dari setahun dengan teknik snowball. Hasil penelitian, implementasi SOP CBIB tambak udang di Kabupaten Bangka Selatan pada kategori tinggi. Saran, pemerintah daerah dapat melakukan monitoring secara berkala terhadap penerapan SOP CBIB tambak udang agar industri tambak udang berkelanjutan, dan perusahaan memberikan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan karyawan.
