Abstract

Access to extensive learning resources for students gives the room for lecturers to move from lecturer centered learning to student centered learning. This can be implemented in learning based on blended learning using the google classroom application that integrates online learning outside the classroom and face to face in the classroom. With the internet that provides various learning management systems such as Google Classroom, teachers can create virtual classes to carry out online learning outside the classroom so that students are accustomed to learning actively and independently in learning. This study aims to describe the learning process of blended learning, assess student learning outcomes, find out the differences in learning outcomes of male and female students, and assess student responses. This research uses descriptive method to take the subject of material science subjects in the vocational education program of FT-UNM mechatronics, which amounted to 36 students. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, tests, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in the form of descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed the learning process was in the very good category, student learning outcomes were in the moderate category, there were differences in learning outcomes between male and female students, and student responses were in the very high category.

Abstract

The research objectives were: (1) to determine the effect of the application of Google Classroom on the teaching and learning process in the classroom and outside the classroom, (2) to identify the effectiveness of designing and making learning materials at Google Classroom, (3) to identify the effectiveness of learning implementation with Google Classroom, and ( 4) knowing the response of students to learning using Google Classroom applied to the teaching and learning process. This study is an evaluation study with a discrepancy model. The evaluation of the discrepancy model is a program gap evaluation, seeing the program gap that occurs between what is expected and the implementation of the program (reality). The standard of implementation used in google classroom learning evaluation in this study is the quality standard for implementing e-learning that has been developed by several universities. The study was conducted in the department of electronic engineering education in multimedia learning subjects. Samples were taken by purposive sampling method, that is, from the mahapean population and students who attended the lecture. The achievement of the effectiveness of the implementation of google classroom learning from each variable is the learning planning component, the component of designing and making the material, the component of learning delivery, and the evaluation component of the implementation are all quite effective.

Abstract

Abstrak. Proses belajar mengajar secara konvensional ternyata memiliki banyak kekurangan. Hal ini disebabkan tidak semua pembelajar memiliki kompetensi yang sama, perbedaan daya serap pembelajar dalam mendengarkan pelajaran, bahan ajar yang terbatas guru dan kegiatan belajar mahasiswa sebagai objek cenderung membosankan. Untuk itu pembelajar dituntut memiliki kreativitas dalam mengajar, pembelajar dituntut mampu merangsang pembelajar untuk proaktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media visual dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan motivasi bagi pembelajar untuk belajar dan mampu dilakukan secara efektif dan efisien. Media sebagai alat pembelajaran yang dapat membantu guru untuk melalukan proses pembelajaran. Media yang memungkinkan guru untuk mengeksplorasi materi pelajaran dan menyampaikannya secara komunikatif. Ini akan membuat mahasiswa lebih banyak menyerap dan memahami subjek atau pesan dari guru. Media visual atau grafis merupakan media yang berhubungan dengan visualisasi. Media visual merupakan alat bantu mengajar yang dipakai guru dalam proses pembelajaran yang bisa dinikmati oleh mahasiswa melalui visi atau panca indera, mampu menampilkan hal-hal nyata dari fenomena yang dipelajari. Video rekam layar adalah suatu video yang berisi rekaman segala aktivitas di layar komputer yang dilengkapi dengan audio/suara dari guru melalui mikrofon. Pengajar bisa tampil di layar monitor melalui kamera dari layar laptop, sehingga dapat menghapus kerinduan mahasiswa untuk bertatap muka dengan gurunya Kata Kunci: Media Visual, Pembelajaran, Daring

Abstract

Practical learning is one of the laboratory activities as a means of proving a theory. One of the devices that used in the experiment is the job sheet. Job sheets that are used in general are still in the form of written documents, so it takes a development that can facilitate the practitioner, so that the implementation of the EDS-AV script model in practical learning is being the solution. The purposes of this research were (1) to plan the design of the EDS-AV script model in practical learning in analog electronics practice courses, (2) to motivate students to carry out practices by utilizing EDS-AV script model in practical learning as learning model, and (3) EDS-AV script model can increases student attractiveness in carrying out experiments on job sheets. The development model that used is a combination of several models that have been developed previously and have been modified to be an EDS-AV script model that produces a document in the form of an Audio-Visual based job sheet. The results that obtained based on the description of expert validation data which includes material feasibility aspects, language feasibility aspects, presentation feasibility aspects, aspects of media effects on learning, and overall appearance aspects are all in a very good category. The results obtained in the very good category for the implementation of learning, as well as student responses to the EDS-AV script model in practical learning in the very strong category. The conclusion of the implementation of the EDS-AV model in learning is that the implementation of analog electronic practice learning with the EDS-AV script model has been implemented well, as well as the response of students in general is in the very strong category.
