Abstract

This study aims to produce an e-module based on Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) which is designed with sigil application on the material area and volume of class VIII flat surface shapes that are valid, practical and have potential effects. This research is a development research using a 4-D model. This model consists of four stages, namely: the defining stage, the design stage, the develop stage, and the dissemination stage. The subjects of this study were eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Rejang Lebong, totaling 6 students for the small group and 28 students for the field test. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations, questionnaires and tests. Based on the results of data analysis carried out, the average results of HOTS-based e-module users assisted by sigil applications from the aspect of language validity, the aikien'v value of 0.89 with very valid criteria, material validity 0.65 with valid criteria, and media validity 0 ,62 with valid criteria. In the practical aspect, the practicality results obtained through the teacher's response of 88% with very practical criteria, and student responses showing a percentage of 85.4% with very practical criteria. Furthermore, in the classical aspect of completeness it reaches a percentage of 82% with very good criteria so that among 28 students only 5 students have not achieved the completeness set by the school. So it can be concluded that the implementation of HOTS-based e-modules assisted by sigil can have a potential effect and facilitate students' higher order thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of mathematical reasoning in learning mathematics after applying the Metaphorical Thinking learning model. The population was all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau consisting of 215 students and as a sample were students of class VIII.3, totaling 32 students. Data collection was carried out using test techniques, in which tests were carried out to find out how the mathematical reasoning abilities of class VII students of SMP N 7 Lubuklinggau had been applied using the metaphorical thinking approach to learning mathematics. After conducting an analysis using the t-test at a significant level of α = 5%, it was found that the tcount was 4.19 with a ttable of 1.69 or tcount ≥ ttable. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the Metaphorical Thinking model is very well used in learning mathematics. after participating in learning using the Metaphorical Thinking learning model the average post-test score was 71.88 with a percentage of 25% or 8 students who were very good and 62.5% or 20 students who were already good.

Abstract

This study aims to develop worksheets on relations and functions for class VIII students of SMPN 2 Lubuklinggau and to produce valid and practical student worksheets on relations and functions for class VIII students at SMPN 2 Lubuklinggau. This research is a development research with a 4-D (Four-D) development model. This model consists of 3 stages of development, namely the Define stage, Design stage, and Develop stage. The Define stage includes: a) initial analysis, b) student analysis, c) task analysis d) concept design, and e) formulate objectives. The process at the Design stage includes: a) format selection, and b) initial design. The process at the Develop stage includes: a) validation by experts followed by revisions, b) product trials. The product of this research is in the form of student worksheets on Relations and Functions with an open ended approach. The results showed that: (1) Validity showed that the developed student worksheets received a very valid category in the language feasibility component with an average score of 4.16, in the material feasibility component received a very valid category with an average score of 4, 00, while the media feasibility component gets a very valid predicate with an average score of 4.44. (2) the quality of student worksheets seen from the practicality aspect is included in the criteria of "very practical" with an average score of 3.52 which is determined based on the results of the student and teacher practicality questionnaire sheets.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi bangun datar dengan menggunakan Pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) pada kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 25 Lubuklinggau. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dengan subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas V.B SD Negeri 25 Lubuklinggau, sebanyak 24 siswa terdiri dari 10 laki-laki dan 14 perempuan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes, aktivita belajar siswa, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitiain ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika materi bangun datar pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 25 Lubuklinggau menggunakan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia, pada siklus 1 nilai rata-rata pre-test dan post-test diperoleh dari 31,67 menjadi 39,37, siklus 2 nilai rata-rata pre-test dan post-test diperoleh dari 42,91 menjadi 54,17 dan nilai rata-rata pada siklus 3 pre-test dan post-test diperoleh dari 63,54 menjadi 71. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa
