Abstract

With the increasing number of customers of PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Natal, disruption to the distribution system will result in more widespread blackouts. To avoid this, the protection system in the distribution channel (especially in the YB-02 feeder) needs to be evaluated to ensure proper coordination. The protection systems are outgoing PMT, Recloser L-01 and Recloser L-02. The method used in this study is a method of observation, literature study, interviews and guidance. From this study, it was found that the coordination conditions between PMT Outgoing, Recloser L-01 and Recloser L-02 were correct and their capabilities could be improved by calculating the OCR and GFR relay settings. Abstract

The level of need for accommodation continues to increase every year based on the high level of mobility of tourists who travel practically and economically, especially after the impact of covid 19, so that many domestic tourists want to relieve fatigue during the lockdown, but there are still few who apply the design. hotel building architecture with local cultural preservation and culture. Tiny hotels are currently growing and developing rapidly in big cities due to the impact of covid 19 which has caused the lodging business to shake up in Indonesia. In this study, this phenomenon underlies the design of Tiny Hotels in Medan City with the Malay Deli architectural approach. The result of this research is the design of the Tiny hotel with a cultural approach to Malay Deli architecture that applies the characteristic principles of Malay architecture.

Abstract

The solar cell module is an electric device that can convert sunlight energy to electric energy directly. Some matters cause solar cell module produceselectric energy unoptimally. One of the problem is position of solar cell module is not vertically coming through the sunlight. This problem is caused by daily earth rotation and yearly earth surrounding the sun. Major Topics of this research are producing a fuzzy logic controlling system so that orientation of solar cell module always follows position of sun periodically. And then comparing power of solar cell module which using controlling system to power of solar cell module which in static orientation. Result of this research, controlling system using fuzzy logic controller is produced, for controlling orientation of solar cell module follows sun position, with error about 4.270, so that power of this solar cell module is higher 10.8% than power of static solar cell module. Average power of static solar cell module is about 2,957 watts, and the energy is about 23,656 watt hour. Else power of dynamic solar cell module is about 3,276 watts, and the energy is about 26,208 watt hour.

Abstract

Implementation of a new source for residential homes, this study uses a baseline based on the availability of PV mini-grid equipment. The research method is carried out by direct measurement of PLTS devices. The solar power plant devices measured include a solar cell module, a solar charge controller (SCC) Inverter testing is done by connecting the battery to the inverter input, and the inverter output is connected to a 500-Watt load capacity. The inverter lasts for about 3 hours. It can be stated that the battery can provide energy of 3 days.
