Abstract

Latar Belakang: Model Asuhan Keperawatan Profesional (MAKP) Tim merupakan metode pelayanan keperawatan yang menekankan kerja sama tim secara terstruktur dan terorganisasi. Di RSUD Kota Padangsidimpuan, penerapan MAKP Tim masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti ketidakseimbangan pembagian tugas, rendahnya koordinasi, serta kurangnya pemahaman tentang peran masing-masing anggota tim. Kondisi ini berpotensi memengaruhi kinerja perawat. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 64 perawat ruang rawat inap yang dipilih dengan teknik  sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari tiga bagian: implementasi MAKP Tim, kepuasan kerja, dan kinerja perawat. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat, bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil: Hasil analisis menunjukkan sebagian besar perawat memiliki tingkat implementasi MAKP tim dalam kategori tidak baik sebanyak 46 orang (71,9%) dan baik sebanyak 18 orang (28.1%). Kinerja perawat diketahui mayoritas berada pada ketegori cukup baik sebanyak 29 orang (45,3%), tidak baik sebanyak 24 orang (37,5 %). Hasil uji bivariat menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara implementasi MAKP Tim dengan kinerja perawat di RSUD Kota Padangsidimpuan 0.001 (p< 0.005)  Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara implementasi MAKP Tim dengan kinerja perawat di ruang rawat inap RSUD Kota Padangsidimpuan.

Abstract

Stres kerja perawat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor seperti tingginya tuntutan pekerjaan, jam kerja yang panjang, beban tanggung jawab yang besar, serta keterbatasan waktu istirahat. Stres kerja yang dialami perawat akibat tekanan dan tuntutan di lingkungan kerja berkontribusi terhadap meningkatnya turnover intention. Turnover intention adalah niat perawat untuk berhenti dari pekerjaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan stres kerja dengan turnover intention perawat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelasi, dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Umum Mitra Medika Amplas pada bulan Januari- April 2025. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat di Rawat Inap berjumlah 74 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah 73 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner expended nursing stress scale dan turnover intention scale yang dimodifikasi oleh peneliti. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi product moment perason. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas stres kerja perawat berada pada tingkat sedang sebanyak 37 orang (50,7%) dan turnover intention berada pada tingkat sedang sebanyak 57 orang (78,1%). Ada hubungan stres kerja dengan turnover intention perawat di RSU Mitra Medika Amplas dengan nilai p=0,000 (p<0,05). Perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai hubungan stres kerja dengan turnover intention dengan faktor yang lebih spesifik.

Abstract

Abstrak Kepuasan kerja perawat merupakan salah satu capaian mutu dalam pelayanan keperawatan di rumah sakit yang harus ditingkatkan. Namun, masih ditemukan ketidakpuasan kerja perawat yang diakibatkan oleh tuntutan untuk mampu bekerja mandiri, mengambil keputusan cepat, serta menjaga mutu pelayanan. Cara yang dapat membantu dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja perawat diantaranya adalah self-leadership perawat yang mencakup behavior focused strategies, natural reward strategies, constructive thougt strategies. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mneganalisis pengaruh self-leadership terhadap kepuasan kerja perawat di Rumah Sakit Islam Malahayati Medan. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional yang dilakukan pada seluruh perawat yang bekerja di ruang rawat inap pada bulan Januari-April 2025. Teknik sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah 80 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi. Hasil penelitian pada uji korelasi ditemukan ada pengaruh self-leadership terhadap kepuasan kera perawat dengan p-value 0,000. Kata Kunci : Self-leadership, Kepuasan Kerja, Perawat Abstract Nurse job satisfaction is one of the quality achievements in nursing services in hospitals that must be improved. However, nurse job dissatisfaction is still found due to the demands of being able to work independently, make quick decisions, and maintain service quality. Methods that can help in improving nurse job satisfaction include nurse self-leadership which includes behavior-focused strategies, natural reward strategies, constructive thought strategies. This study aims to analyze the effect of self-leadership on nurse job satisfaction at Malahayati Islamic Hospital, Medan. This type of quantitative research with a correlational approach was conducted on all nurses working in the inpatient ward from January to April 2025. The sampling technique used a total sampling with a total of 80 people. Data were analyzed using a correlation test. The results of the correlation test found that self-leadership had an effect on nurse job satisfaction with a p-value of 0.000. Keywords: Self-leadership, Job satisfaction, Nurse

Abstract

Pain is an experience of subjective and physiological condition. Accurate pain assessment is essential and effective for the successful implementation of pain management. The inability of nurses to assess pain and poor communication between patients and nurses leads to ineffective pain management. In addition, an adequate level of knowledge and a positive attitude in caring for patients is an important component in the delivery of pain management. Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the factor of knowledge and attitude of nurses towards pain management at Haji Adam Malik Hospital Medan. Method: The type of research used in this study was quantitative with a survey method research design. Respondents in the study amounted to 84 nurses in the RB6. RA3, RA4 dan RA5. Bivariate Data Analysis with Chi-Square. Results: The result chi-square test analysis obtained a p-value for the variable of age (0,472). Education (0,790). Experience (),376), knowledge (0,099), and attitude (0,000). Conclusions: Attitude is the nurse's readiness or willingness to act in the assessment and reassessment of pain, managing pain, and evaluating it. Good nursing attitudes are needed to improve the implementation of pain management at the H. Adam Malik Central General Hospital, Medan.

Abstract

One of the important components in the management of patient care in hospitals is the role of nurses in implementing discharge planning, which is a structured process of preparing patients to return to their environment after they get treatment in the hospital. Nurses have a significant role in helping families prepare to care for patients after discharge from psychiatric hospitals. Through evaluation of the patient's condition, coordination with multidisciplinary care teams, patient and family education, and preparation of a detailed discharge plan, nurses can positively influence Family Readiness. Objective: to evaluate the relationship between the role of nurses in implementing discharge planning and family readiness to care for patients at home. Method: The sample used was a purposive sample of 78 implementing nurses working in the inpatient room and the design of this study was cross-sectional. Data was collected through questionnaires as well as statistical correlation Chi-Square was used to analyze it. The validity test for the nurse role questionnaire was 0.629 to 0.777, while the family readiness questionnaire was 0.456 to 0.765. The Cronbach's alpha value for the nurse's role variable was 0.962 and family readiness was 0.967 so the questionnaire was declared reliable. Results: The results showed a relationship between the role of nurses in implementing discharge planning and family readiness to care for patients at home (0.020 < 0.05). Conclusions: Thus, the role of nurses in the discharge planning process plays an important role in improving family readiness in caring for patients at home.

Abstract

Wives who suffer from cervical cancers and receive chemotherapy treatment potentially have the potential to experience a decrease in the reproductive function of the organs so that the role as a wife experiences changes such as impaired gynecological functions which result in nonfulfillment of sexual desires, pain during intercourse, bleeding, emotional disturbances, and fatigue so that the daily activities of cervical cancer sufferers experience a significant decrease. Objective to understand cervical cancer patients' experiences with chemotherapy in conducting their role as wives. the study was a qualitative design with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected using an interview with 8 participants and analyzed using colaizzi. Then, it is transcribed and analyzed repeatedly. The second step, analyzing, is conducted by extracting significant statements, categorizing, and understanding the essential meaning. In the third step, describing, the researcher communicates, concludes, and defines the phenomenon. 6 Themes are found in this research: 1) conducting the role as a wife part, 2) sexual relationship disorders, 3) self –concept disorder 4) anxiety of cancer 5) medication side effects, 6) getting the family support. The study result indicates that despite the side effects of chemotherapy experienced by wives who suffer from cervical cancer, they still can conduct their role as wives supported by the family.

Abstract

Nurse work motivation is the internal and external forces that drive work behaviors, such as commitment and performance, by determining their direction, intensity, and duration. Interprofessional collaboration in nursing practice involves partnerships between nurses, healthcare teams, and patients with shared decision-making based on professional expertise. Patient satisfaction reflects perceptions of the quality of care compared to their expectations. This study aims to analyze the relationship between nurses' work motivation and patient satisfaction and the relationship between interprofessional collaboration in nursing practice. The study was quantitative with a correlation approach. 99 inpatients were involved in this study using convenience sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the Spearman rank statistical test. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between nurse work motivation and patient satisfaction (0.027<0.05). There was a relationship between nurse interprofessional collaboration practice and patient satisfaction 0.007<0.05). It is expected that the work motivation and interprofessional collaboration practice of nurses can be further improved in services so that patient satisfaction increases and patient needs are met well.

Abstract

Stunting was associated by chronic malnutrition due to intake of nutrients that are lacking in a long time in children. This condition causes the child to have a height tends to be short in his age. The incidence of stunting is influenced by care in the family, especially related to the knowledge and attitudes of mothers in the event of stunting. Treatment from pregnancy to child is related to the fulfillment of food and family nutrition. This research is descriptive which aims to describe the knowledge and attitudes of mothers in the incidence of stunting in children. Population of all mothers with babies and toddlers in Namo Rambe sub-district. Samples are families / parents who have children aged one to 5 years. Data collection uses a questionnaire, which consists of demographic data, data on mother's knowledge and attitudes. Univariate data analysis uses the frequency of distribution and presentation. The results of mother's knowledge about stunting in general are in the low category at around 50.7%. The mother's attitude is in the negative attitude which is around 55.8%. Health workers must be able to optimize their role in providing health education to the community specifically about stunting.

Abstract

One effort to improve children's health and nutrition is to provide the best food for ages under two years (Baduta). If babies and children aged 6-24 months do not get enough nutrition from MP-ASI, it will cause disruption of growth and malnutrition. Medan Sunggal Health Center is one of the health centers in the fostered village of F.Kep USU. Based on the results of the toddler nutrition study conducted previously, there were still some nutritional problems, especially in the age group of Baduta. The main cause is the limited knowledge of mothers about Baduta nutrition and the skills of mothers in preparing food to meet nutritional needs with locally available food. Posyandu cadres who have been actively involved are still weak in providing breastfeeding and MP-ASI education. Even though Posyandu cadres are very potential their role as agents of change. Community service activities counseling for local food-based WHO MP-ASI for Posyandu cadres and baduta’ mothers was held on August 24, 2018, with the number of counseling participants thirty-five people. The end result is an increase in participants' knowledge and skills to shape good nutritional behavior in the family.

Abstract

Background: One factor that causes cervical cancer is the lack of personal hygiene in the genital organs. However, there are still young women who do not maintain the cleanliness of their genital organs, in fact, it is better to be aware of the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of the external genital organs from an early age. Problems that arise due to poor hygiene of the genital organs, namely the emergence of several venereal diseases such as vaginal discharge, genital skin irritation, allergies, cervical cancer, urinary tract infections, one of the efforts to increase knowledge of young women, provides information on external genital care. The aim of the research is to find out the effectiveness of the lecture and discussion method on the behavior of young women in the care of external genitalia.Research Methods: The research design uses a quasi-experimental approach with the Two Group Pretest Posttest approach, namely by using a comparison group but at least observations have been made. The population of this study was all young women at the Medan Family Education Foundation High School totaling 242 people. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. The total sample is 70 people consisting of 35 lecture groups and 35 discussion groups. bivariate analysis with T-test. Results: The results showed that the discussion method was more effective than lectures on the behavior of young women in treating external genitalia. There was a difference in the average score of knowledge of young women in treating external genitalia. Changes in knowledge are greater using the discussion method with an average value of 2.97 compared to lectures with an average value of 0.52. Changes in attitude were greater using the discussion method with an average value of 14.13 compared to lectures with an average value of 0.72. Changes in action were greater using the discussion method with an average value of 6.12 compared to lectures with an average value of 0.76. Conclusion: The discussion method is more effective for improving the behavior of young women in caring for external genitalia at the Medan Family Education Foundation High School.
