Abstract

The key issue in this study is the increasing dependence of Generation Z on TikTok as a primary source of entertainment, potentially replacing conventional film promotional media. Therefore, without adequate understanding, the local film industry risks failing to capitalize on TikTok's popularity strategically and sustainably. This topic is relevant, as local films face challenges in attracting young audiences. This study employed employed an exploratory quantitative approach with a sample of 30 active Generation Z TikTok users aged 19-25 years. Data were collected using a questionnaire with validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that film popularity on TikTok had a positive and significant influence on adolescents' viewing interest (0.647; p < 0,001) with an R² of 0.538, indicating that 53.8% of the variation in viewing interest was explained by popular films. The results show a relationship between the intensity of user interaction with film content on TikTok and the tendency to be interested in watching local films, with the involvement of film producers maximizing social media as an interactive promotional tool that can expand audience reach and increase awareness of local films. In this study, the popularity of romantic films was measured based on the level of exposure (frequency of watching film content) and engagement (interactions in the form of likes, comments, shares, and use of hashtags). The uniqueness of this study lies in its positioning of TikTok as an algorithmic and participatory communication space that shapes Generation Z's perceptions of local films.

Abstract

This study investigates the growing presence of kid influencers on social media particularly TikTok which signals a shift in how children are represented within the digital landscape. The @abe_daily account, documenting everyday interactions between Abe and his father, is used as the central case. The research aims to identify the personal branding characteristics of the child influencer Abe and to examine the father’s role in constructing this image. Employing a descriptive qualitative design, data were gathered through semi-structured interviews with five informants and two experts in personal branding and child psychology, complemented by social media observation, documentation, and a literature review. Thematic analysis was used to interpret the data. The findings indicate that Abe’s natural disposition, enthusiasm, and spontaneous facial expressions constitute the core elements of his personal branding. The development of this branding corresponds with Montoya’s eight personal branding principles, encapsulated through authenticity, consistency, and emotional resonance. The study concludes that the father’s ethically aware guidance aimed at preventing exploitation while balancing the child’s developmental needs is essential in sustaining Abe’s positive and responsible presence within the digital environment.

Abstract

Purpose: This service aims to educate teenagers about the importance of preventing stunting from an early age, as well as providing free health checks through the practice of Posyandu Remaja. Methodology/approach: The methods used in this service include lectures, discussions, and health checks, which are divided into several stages: observation, preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Results/findings: The results of this service showed significant success, with an ‘increase in participants' understanding, as seen in the post-test results. Conclusion: Adolescent communication support through the Adolescent Posyandu effectively increases understanding of nutrition, anemia, and stunting prevention. Sustainability, collaboration, and innovation are needed to achieve zero stunting. Limitations: This assistance is a pioneer; therefore, sustainability is needed for further services. In the future, this service must be supported by health workers who are more competent and reach many other adolescents. Contribution: Based on the results of this service, it is recommended to implement Posyandu Remaja on an ongoing basis, update educational materials according to the latest health developments, and ’carry ’out regular ’monitoring and ’evaluation to measure the effectiveness of the ‘program. With the implementation of these steps, it is expected that communication assistance activities in Posyandu Remaja practices will ’be more effective and have a positive ’impact on stunting prevention in Sumedang Regency.

Abstract

Abstrak SMK Negeri 1 Garut merupakan lembaga pendidikan vokasi yang memiliki tujuan membekali para siswa keterampilan dan kompetensi yang relevan didunia kerja atau bahkan menjadi wirausahawan yang mempunyai pengetahuan dan skill sehingga dapat membuka lowongan pekerjaan. Seiring dengan perkembangan digital, digital marketing sangat penting untuk menjadi bekal bagi para siswa SMKN 1 Garut untuk dunia kerja, sehingga pelatihan ini akan sangat bermanfaat bagi para siswa SMKN 1 Garut. Latar belakang pengabdian ini didasarkan karena di SMKN 1 Garut belum adanya pembelajaran tentang digital marketing fitur affiliasi sedangka kebutuhan lapangan pekerjaan mengenai digital marketing sangat tinggi, maka dari itu akan sangat bermanfaat diadakanya pelatihan digital marketing. Pelatihan digital marketing bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dalam kemampuan mengelola marketing dengan digitalisasi sekaligus memperkuat kompetensi terlibat baik itu dalam meningkatkan pemahamannya atau menambah kemampuannya soft skills seperti komunikasi, public speaking, dan digitalisasi. Pelatihan ini melibatkan 25 orang siswa yang menjadi peserta aktif dalam mengikuti teori dan dan praktik yang telah dirancang secara kolaboratif dengan pihak sekolah agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, program ini tidak hanya memperdalam pemahaman siswa tentang digital marketing fitur affiliasi, tetapi juga memperluas wawasan mereka mengenai peluang karier di bidang digital marketing baik itu menjadi baik itu sebagai Digital Marketing, Sosial Media Spesialis, KOL Spesialis, Konten Kreator dan Live Spesialis. Pelatihan ini berhasil memberikan dampak bagi para siswa yang terlibat baik itu dalam meningkatkan pemahamannya atau menambah kemampuannya Kata kunci: digital marketing; fitur affiliasi; SMKN 1 Garut Abstract SMK Negeri 1 Garut is a vocational education institution that aims to equip students with skills and competencies that are relevant in the world of work or even become entrepreneurs who have the knowledge and skills so that they can open job vacancies. Along with digital developments, digital marketing is very important to be a provision for students of SMKN 1 Garut for the world of work, so this training will be very beneficial for students of SMKN 1 Garut. The background of this research is based on the fact that at SMKN 1 Garut there is no learning about digital marketing affiliate features while the employment needs regarding digital marketing are very high, therefore it would be very useful to hold digital marketing training. Digital marketing training aims to improve skills in the ability to manage marketing with digitalization while strengthening the competencies involved in either increasing their understanding or increasing their abilities. soft skills such as communication, public speaking, and digitalization. The training involved 25 students who became active participants in following the theory and practice that had been designed collaboratively with the school to suit their needs. Based on the evaluation results, the program not only deepened students' understanding of digital marketing affiliate features, but also broadened their horizons regarding career opportunities in the digital marketing field whether it be as a Digital Marketing, Social Media Specialist, KOL Specialist, Content Creator and Live Specialist. Abstract

AbstrakKondisi gizi anak usia sekolah dasar masih menjadi persoalan penting dalam pembangunan kesehatan masyarakat. Rendahnya pemahaman tentang gizi seimbang, kebiasaan konsumsi makanan cepat saji, serta minimnya edukasi gizi di lingkungan sekolah menjadi faktor penyebab yang perlu mendapat perhatian. Tujuan pengabdian ini, untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran orangtua siswa terhadap pentingnya pola makan gizi seimbang melalui pendekatan komunikasi kesehatan partisipatif. Mitra sasaran pengabdian SD Negeri 2 Regol Garut, Orangtua Siswa kelas VI, dengan jumlah 32. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan dengan tahapan (1) sosialisasi literasi gizi seimbang melalui media interaktif dan ceramah edukatif; (2) diskusi partisipatif terkait kebiasaan makan sehat; serta (3) evaluasi perubahan pengetahuan dan sikap melalui observasi, dan post-test. Pendekatan komunikasi partisipatif digunakan untuk memastikan terjadinya dialog dua arah antara fasilitator, dan orang tua siswa, sehingga pesan kesehatan dapat dipahami dan diinternalisasi secara lebih efektif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai konsep gizi seimbang, kesadaran dalam memilih makanan bergizi, dan keterlibatan aktif orangtua dalam menindaklanjuti kegiatan literasi gizi. Selain itu, lingkungan sekolah mulai menunjukkan perubahan perilaku ke arah yang lebih sehat melalui kegiatan “Bekal Sehat Bersama”. Kegiatan ini, membuktikan bahwa komunikasi kesehatan partisipatif efektif dalam menumbuhkan gerakan literasi gizi seimbang yang berkelanjutan di lingkungan SDN 2 Regol, Garut. Kata kunci: gerakan literasi; komunikasi kesehatan partisipatif; literasi gizi seimbang; pola makan; sosialisasi. AbstractThe nutritional condition of elementary school-aged children remains a significant issue in public health development. The low level of understanding of balanced nutrition, fast food consumption habits, and the lack of nutrition education in the school environment are contributing factors that require attention. The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge and awareness of parents of students regarding the importance of a balanced nutritional diet through a participatory health communication approach. The community service partners of SD Negeri 2 Regol Garut are 32 parents of grade VI students. The community service implementation method is carried out in stages: (1) socialization of balanced nutrition literacy through interactive media and educational lectures; (2) participatory discussions related to healthy eating habits; and (3) evaluation of changes in knowledge and attitudes through observation and post-tests. The participatory communication approach is used to ensure a two-way dialogue between facilitators and parents, so that health messages can be understood and internalized more effectively. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding of the concept of balanced nutrition, awareness in choosing nutritious foods, and active parental involvement in coordinating nutritional literacy activities. Furthermore, the school environment began to show behavioral changes toward healthier behavior through the "Healthy Lunch Together" activity. This activity demonstrated the effectiveness of participatory health communication in fostering a sustainable balanced nutrition literacy movement at SDN 2 Regol, Garut. Keywords: literacy movement; participatory health communication; balanced nutrition literacy; diet; socialization.

Abstract

Podcast telah berkembang menjadi salah satu media digital yang berperan penting dalam menyampaikan informasi dan hiburan. Perkembangannya semakin pesat dengan hadirnya berbagai konten yang dapat diakses kapan saja melalui platform seperti YouTube. Salah satu program podcast yang banyak diminati adalah program LOGIN yang dipandu oleh Habib Jafar dan Onadio Leonardo, yang menghadirkan diskusi dengan narasumber dari berbagai latar belakang, terutama dalam membahas keberagaman di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tayangan podcast program LOGIN terhadap kepuasan pendengar dalam memperoleh informasi. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarluaskan kepada mahasiswa Universitas Garut sebagai responden, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Untuk analisis data digunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, serta regresi sederhana yang dilakukan dengan bantuan IBM SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan program podcast LOGIN memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan pendengar, dengan korelasi sebesar 0,730 dan kontribusi sebesar 53,3%. Responden menilai podcast ini relevan, informatif, serta memiliki penyampaian yang menarik dengan narasumber yang kredibel dan berpengalaman. Hasil penelitian ini mendukung teori Uses and Gratifications, yang menyatakan bahwa pendengar secara aktif memilih media yang memuaskan kebutuhan mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the planning, implementation and evaluation of programs carried out by the Public Relations Department of Health in disseminating the Covid-19 vaccination program in Garut Regency. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation and literature study. The results showed that the program planning carried out by the Public Relations Office of the Garut Regency Health Office by analyzing the situation by interviewing all elements of society. The results of the evaluation of the program that have been carried out have caused a quick reaction, especially in enthusiasm, understanding and awareness of the importance of vaccines. The media make a very big contribution in providing understanding, especially on misinformation, but with intense socialization it can change people's thoughts and actions..

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya peran media sosial dalam membentuk persepsi dan citra merek di era digital, khususnya pada sektor kuliner yang sangat kompetitif. Platform TikTok sebagai media berbasis video pendek telah menjadi ruang strategis bagi pelaku usaha untuk membangun identitas dan menjangkau audiens secara luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis konstruksi identitas digital RM Sugema Raya Garut di platform TikTok melalui penggunaan bahasa, visual, dan narasi dalam membangun citra merek. Perkembangan TikTok telah mengubah pola komunikasi pemasaran kuliner, di mana persepsi publik terhadap merek banyak dipengaruhi oleh representasi visual dan interaksi audiens. Meskipun berbagai studi membahas efektivitas pemasaran digital, kajian mengenai proses presentasi diri merek dalam konteks algoritma platform yang dinamis masih terbatas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi Real Self dibangun melalui konsistensi kualitas produk, pelayanan, dan pengalaman nyata konsumen; Ideal Self dikonstruksi melalui kurasi visual, penguatan storytelling, dan konsistensi positioning; sedangkan False Self muncul dalam bentuk penyesuaian komunikasi terhadap tren dan karakter platform tanpa mengubah nilai inti merek. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan citra digital merupakan proses strategis yang bersifat siklus dan berkelanjutan, yang mengintegrasikan fondasi operasional, representasi simbolik, serta partisipasi audiens melalui praktik organic marketing. Secara praktis, penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bagi pelaku usaha kuliner dalam mengelola presentasi diri digital secara autentik, adaptif, dan berorientasi pada keberlanjutan merek.
