Abstract

This research is motivated by the number of teenagers who register themselves as an Army soldier is not denied that they have their own goals. Every year registration of TNI-AD especially in Garut City continues to increase. This is a new phenomenon where rarely had anyone wanted to be a soldier and devote himself to the state. The age limit of registration to become a soldier is 18-22 years old for high school graduates or equivalent. Entering the military world must have a strong mental and physical, especially must be good at communicating with subordinates and with superiors to avoid a miss communication at the time of duty. The purpose of this study is to find and explain about the motives, experiences, and meaning of adolescents as soldiers of the Army. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and literature study. The informants in the study as many as 8 people. The results showed that the motive for being a TNI-AD par excellence is the aspiration and economy, while the motive is due to the sense of nationalism, family and the environment. The existing experience of living in military environments, following organizations in schools, the influence of online action games, the existence of family education since childhood. Abstract

This study aims to discover the motives, experiences, meaning, and intercultural communication of mixed marriage couples in the Budapest-Hungary. The research uses phenomenology method Alfred Schutz and Husserl to examine the experience of people. Data are collected through observation, interviews through social media and literature study. The subjects are six mixed marriage couple living in Budapest-Hungary using purposive sampling technique. This research found a model of intercultural communication among mixed marriage couples related to motives, experiences, meanings, and intercultural communication based on cultural differences, languages, mindsets, as well as stereotypes of certain religions in which mixed marriage couples can adapt to the situation. This study contributes to four communication models of mixed marriage couples, namely motives, experiences, meanings and intercultural communication.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh munculnya musik populer Korea yang memiliki daya tarik tersendiri di kalangan penggemarnya, sehingga menghasilkan proses peniruan terhadap apa yang dilakukan idolanya seperti dance cover. Meniru tarian silang gender dalam grup cross cover dance EX(SHIT), merupakan fenomena sosial yang belum banyak diketahui keberadaannya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan model komunikasi tentang presentasi diri grup K-pop Cross Cover Dance pada Grup EX(SHIT) di Garut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Dramaturgi yang mempelajari tingkah laku manusia, tentang bagaimana manusia itu menetapkan arti kepada hidup serta pandangan bahwa ketika manusia berinteraksi, mengelola kesan pada orang lain. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan paradigma kontruksivisme. Sedangkan Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para anggota cross cover dance EX(SHIT) memiliki aktivitas front stage (panggung depan) yang meliputi setting dan personal front (appearance dan manner), aktivitas middle stage (panggung tengah) berupa persiapan kostum, konsep tari, make up, dan gaya rambut yang sesuai dengan peran mereka, serta aktivitas back stage (panggung belakang) dalam kehidupan sosial di masyarakat sesuai dengan peran mereka masing-masing. Penelitian ini memberikan konstribusi kepada masyarakat, memiliki peran dalam mensosialisasikan nilai-nilai keberagaman dan toleransi sosial serta cara mereka mengkomunikasikan konten keberagaman kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latarbelakangi oleh maraknya para remaja yang semakin megandalkan internet, salah satunya adalah media social yang kali ini banyak diakses oleh perempuan generasi millennial yaitu Youtube. Masing-masing channel Youtube beauty vlogger menginformasikan bagaimana tutorial make-up untuk sehari-hari atau untuk acara tertentu dan juga bagaimana cara merawat kulit wajah. Youtube dijadikan sumber informasi karena tampilan Youtube yang berupa audio visual yang memudahkan para individu yang mengaksesnya mudah menirukannya. Tujuan skripsi ini untuk menemukan temuan-temuan baru mengenai (1) Motif (2) Pengalaman dan (3)Makna Perempuan Generasi Millennial yang menjadikan Youtube sebagai Media Informasi Kecantikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Fenomenologi menurut Alfred Schutz dan Edmund Husserl. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan. Peneliti menetapkan enam objek penelitian untuk dijadikan sumber data dari sejumlah wawancara yang dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (a) Motif Untuk perempuan generasi Millenial menggunakan Youtube yaitu untuk mencari tutorial make-up untuk menunjang penampilan, (b) Motif Karena yaitu karena informasi yang didapatkan di Youtube lebih akurat. Hasil dari temuan (c) pengalaman, yaitu para remaja perempuan dapat membuka lapangan pekerjaan nya sendiri dengan menjadi MUA. Selain itu, peneliti mendapatkan hasil temuan (d) Makna yang dimana youtube sangat membantu para perempuan utnuk menemukan make-up dan skincare yang cocok untuk mereka.

Abstract

This study discusses Instagram as a personal branding media. The purpose of this research is to describe the factors that established personal branding. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The informants in this study consisted of 3 celebgrams at the Garut City, Informants are determined by purposive sampling. The results of this study are, branding on Instagram social media is an effort to present information, messages and impressions through the activities carried out. Personal branding that is formed based on the main dimensions of the formation of personal branding that they show on each Instagram account including style, caption, special abilities or competences in a certain area controlled by celebrities and self-standards can form personal branding through a polish and well communication method.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi perseteruan antara Pemerintah Indonesia dengan Perdana Menteri Australia berkaitan dengan penanganan kasus eksekusi mati terpidana Bali Nine dan arogansi serta invansi yang dilakukan oleh Perdana Menteri Australia dan negara-negara internasional. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan (1) Media Indonesia (Online) dalam menyeleksi isu Konflik Perdana Menteri Australia dalam Kasus Eksekusi Mati Warganegaranya; (2) Media Indonesia (Online) dalam penonjolan isuKonflik Perdana Menteri Australia dalam Kasus Eksekusi Mati Warganegaranya; (3) Cara pandang Media Indonesia (Online) dalam melihat Konflik Perdana Menteri Australia dalam Kasus Eksekusi Mati Warganegaranya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis framing dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perspektif atau cara pandang yang digunakan oleh wartawan ketika menyeleksi isu dan menulis berita. Sedangkan pendekatan pada penelitian ini kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan dan studi dokumentasi. Adapun subjek penelitian ini adalah Media Indonesia (online) yang merupakan salah satu media yang memiliki nilai pengaruh tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Media Indonesia (online) dalam pemberitaannya memberikan citra semu membela masyarakat dan menguatkan kepemerintahan karena hal yang diutamakan adalah pemberian citra yang kuat kepada Pemerintah Indonesia dengan tujuan untuk mengalahkan intervansi negara lain tanpa menggambarkan sikap pemerintah yang dinilai lamban dari pandangan masyarakat. Media Indonesia (online) dalam penyeleksian isunya mengangkat sesuatu hal yang membela Pemerintah Indonesia. Dalam penonjolan isu Media Indonesia cenderung memberitakan dengan model bad news, dengan memojokan Perdana Menteri Australia ke arah negatif sehingga konstruksi berita tentang Perdana Menteri Australia menjadi buruk. The method used in this research is the method of framing analysis in order to determine how the perspective or the perspective used by journalists when selecting issues and news writing. While this approach to qualitative research. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation study. The subject of this study is the Media Indonesia (online), which is one medium that has a high influence value.The results show the Media Indonesia (online) in its message provide false image to defend the people and strengthen governance because the main priority is the provision of a strong image to the Government of Indonesia with the goal to beat intervansi other countries without describing the attitude of the government that sluggish from the public gaze. Media Indonesia (online) in selecting the issues raised something that is defending the Government of Indonesia. In highlighting the issue of Media Indonesia tend to preach to the model of bad news, with the Australian Prime Minister to push the negative direction so that the construction of the news of the Prime Minister of Australia for the worse. Abstract

Al-Qur’an as Words of God actually is the channel of communication between God and man. Based on the system of revelation from God to Gabriel, from Gabriel to Muhammad, from Muhammad to man, it shows the possibility of opening abstract or non verbal communication between God and man. When one reads Al-Qur’an actually he/she communicates with God. When one observes shalat or haji or says a word of Qur’an, he/she behaves like Muhammad when he recieved or communicated with God and Gabriel. In terms of Wahyu there were two dimensions: aural dan oral. People had both like Muhammad SAW, if they read the Qur’an. So, reading the Qur'an and observing prayers are part of communicating with the Creator.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the planning, implementation and evaluation of programs carried out by the Public Relations Department of Health in disseminating the Covid-19 vaccination program in Garut Regency. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation and literature study. The results showed that the program planning carried out by the Public Relations Office of the Garut Regency Health Office by analyzing the situation by interviewing all elements of society. The results of the evaluation of the program that have been carried out have caused a quick reaction, especially in enthusiasm, understanding and awareness of the importance of vaccines. The media make a very big contribution in providing understanding, especially on misinformation, but with intense socialization it can change people's thoughts and actions..

Abstract

Digitalization brings benefits to the development of communication media around the world. Now communication can be done interactively and in real-time through digital media. Social media is a popular digital communication media used by teenagers to interact socially. The phenomenon that occurs is a change in behavior and activities of social media users, especially teenagers. The ease of accessing and exchanging information gives rise to the phenomenon of the spread of hoaxes. Kominfo revealed that there were 565,449 hoax content circulating through social media throughout 2021. This study aims to determine the impact of digital-based media literacy on the behavior of anti-spreading hoaxes among teenagers. This research uses quantitative and verification methods. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents from SMA Negeri 2 Lembang students. Samples were taken based on purposive sampling category. Data analysis used simple linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 20.0. The results showed that there was a significant negative impact of digital-based media literacy on the behavior of anti-spreading hoaxes among adolescents with a coefficient of determination of 73.4%, while the remaining 53.8% was influenced by other variables not examined.

Abstract

Batik Tulis Garutan is part of the local wisdom typical of Garut Regency which is still surviving until now. Currently, Batik Tulis Garutan is concentrated in Garut city, the average production capacity per year is 1,600 pieces. Based on the data obtained, this study intends to find out how the Garutan Batik Written House RM maintains the existence of Garutan hand-drawn batik. The purpose of this study is to explain how to define problems or opportunities, planning and programming, taking action and communication, and evaluating programs in the Communication Strategy of Rumah Batik Tulis Garutan RM. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. While the data collection techniques used in this study were in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The subject of this research is the Garutan Batik Writer House Manager, who is involved in implementing the communication program planning strategy, totaling three people using snowball sampling. The result of the research shows that Rumah Batik Tulis Garutan RM has not been able to implement the implementation of the workshop program as a communication strategy in maintaining the existence of Batik Tulis Garutan. It is shown that Rumah Batik Tulis Garutan RM .in defining the problem or analyzing the situation is not enough to find out how the problem is happening, because it is more focused on the production and sale of products. In the planning and programming strategy there is a structured plan that contains goals, targets, conveys messages in an informative, persuasive and instructive manner, but there is no maximum technical arrangement, the strategy is carried out by maximizing good relations with external parties as targets and utilizing the media. Implementation is done by compiling a periodic scale, the allocation of resources. The evaluation was carried out by Rumah Batik Tulis Garutan RM based on the number of participants, with this number it can be seen that the enthusiasm of the community in supporting the implementation of the program was carried out.
