Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Islamic financial literacy, spiritual intelligence, and pocket money usage on the financial management of students majoring in Islamic Finance and Banking in Medan. The sample used in this study consisted of 140 respondents who were students majoring in Islamic Finance and Banking at the Medan State Polytechnic, the State Islamic University of North Sumatra, and the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra in Medan City, who were given questionnaires. This study used a quantitative method with multiple linear regression analysis. This study conducted a Pearson correlation test, partial test (t), simultaneous test (f), and determination test (R2) with a significance level of 5% (α=0.05), processed with the help of SPSS version 26. The results of this study indicate that the variable of Islamic financial literacy has a significant effect on financial management, the variable of spiritual intelligence does not have a significant effect on financial management, and the variable of pocket money usage has a significant effect on financial management. The variables of Islamic financial literacy, spiritual intelligence, and pocket money usage significantly affect the financial management of students in the Islamic Finance and Banking Study Program in Medan City.

Abstract

This research is about the impact given by the availability of Ease of Use of Applications and Kergasan Products sold online to millennial generation purchasing decisions in online shopping. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques are questionnaire and literature study. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression with t test, f test, correlation coefficient, and determination coefficient. The results showed that the characteristics of millennials who shop online are consumers of the majority of women, aged 20, and the results of this study also show that ease of application and diversity of online products can positively and strongly influence millennial generation purchasing decisions. online purchasing decisions. The ability to influence is indicated by a figure of 47.5% while the remaining 52.5% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan akuntabilitas usaha kerajinan kayu “Rumah Pengrajin Bahagia”” melalui optimalisasi manajemen produksi dan pencatatan keuangan terstruktur. Usaha ini memproduksi miniatur kapal dan lampion kayu yang telah berdiri sejak 2009, namun masih menghadapi keterbatasan dalam efisiensi produksi, kualitas produk yang belum konsisten, serta pencatatan keuangan yang sederhana dan tidak sistematis. Metode kegiatan meliputi observasi awal, pemberian alat dan mesin produksi modern, pelatihan serta pendampingan manajemen keuangan, serta evaluasi implementasi di lokasi usaha. Pemberian alat produksi, seperti jig saw elektik, ketam kayu elektrik, bais duduk dan alat ukir modern, terbukti meningkatkan kapasitas produksi, presisi pengerjaan, dan konsistensi kualitas produk. Pelatihan manajemen keuangan memungkinkan pelaku usaha menyusun pencatatan harian, laporan laba rugi, dan arus kas, sehingga mereka mampu memantau kondisi keuangan secara akurat dan mengambil keputusan berbasis data. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi produksi, kualitas produk, profesionalisme, dan kepercayaan diri pelaku usaha, serta terbukanya peluang akses pembiayaan formal. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa kombinasi pendampingan teknis dan keuangan mampu mendorong transformasi UMKM kerajinan kayu menjadi usaha yang lebih profesional, kompetitif, dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of academic pressure, social support, and mental health from a sharia perspective on the achievement of Muslim students receiving the KIP-Kuliah (Kiliyah Student Assistance) at the Medan State Polytechnic. This research fills a gap in research that is still dominated by partial studies and has not integrated these three variables simultaneously within a framework of sharia values, particularly in the context of KIP-Kuliah students receiving vocational education. This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 179 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 26. The results showed that academic pressure had a negative and significant effect on student achievement with a value of -0.180, social support had a positive and significant effect with a value of 0.303, and mental health from a sharia perspective also had a positive and significant effect with a value of 0.380. Together, these three variables explained 19.7% of the variation in student achievement, while 80.3% was influenced by factors outside the research model. These findings underscore the importance of a holistic approach that integrates academic, social, and spiritual aspects in improving the achievement of KIP- Kuliah recipient students.

Abstract

This study examines the interest of students of the Islamic Finance and Banking Study Program at Medan State Polytechnic in using BYOND by BSI. There are three independent variables in this study: Islamic financial literacy, convenience, and trust; the dependent variable is interest. Normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and autocorrelation tests are prerequisite tests. The results of the partial test indicate that the Islamic financial literacy variable partially has a moderate and significant positive effect on interest in using BYOND by BSI with a significance level of 0.022, the convenience variable partially has a strong positive effect on interest in using BYOND by BSI with a significance level of 0.054, and the trust variable partially has a very strong and significant positive effect on interest in using BYOND by BSI with a significance level of 0.000. With a significance level of 0.000, the interest of students in the Islamic Finance and Banking Study Program at the Medan State Polytechnic is positively and significantly influenced by the variables of Islamic financial literacy, ease, and trust in using BYOND by BSI.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the financial literacy awareness of sharia financial and banking students in North Sumatra and also to find out the main factors that can influence that awareness. This study uses quantitative methods. The analytical tool used in this study is factor analysis. The subject of this research is students of Islamic finance and banking study programs in North Sumatra. The total sample of this study was 219 students using random sampling techniques. The results of the study indicate that there are four factors that influence the financial literacy awareness of students in Islamic finance and banking study programs in North Sumatra. The first factor is parents, the second factor is knowledge, the third factor is economic behavior, and the fourth factor is gender and information technology. While the main factors that can build financial literacy awareness of students in Islamic finance and sharia banking programs in North Sumatra are father's education, mother's education, and parents' income.

Abstract

Wakaf produktif merupakan instrumen strategis ekonomi Islam bagi keberlanjutan sosial, namun pengelolaannya sering terkendala aspek manajerial dan transparansi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis manajemen wakaf produktif dan penerapan tata kelola syariah pada Yayasan Madrasah Islamiyah Medan, dengan menegaskan posisi Waqf Core Principles (WCP) sebagai instrumen evaluasi utama untuk mengukur efektivitas pengelolaan dan hambatan optimalisasi aset. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif model Miles dan Huberman melalui wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan wakaf masih berada pada kategori sederhana, terutama pada aspek kelembagaan dan pelaporan, meskipun fungsi manajemen (POAC) telah berjalan sistematis untuk mendukung pendidikan gratis bagi yatim dhuafa. Kendala utama meliputi keterbatasan lahan, rendahnya penghimpunan dana, dan minimnya SDM ahli. Evaluasi berbasis WCP menunjukkan bahwa transparansi dan tata kelola syariah belum berjalan optimal. Implikasi Teoretis: Penelitian ini memperkuat literatur mengenai standarisasi evaluasi kinerja nazhir dengan mengintegrasikan kerangka WCP dalam konteks lembaga pendidikan Islam. Implikasi Praktis: Yayasan perlu melakukan transformasi tata kelola melalui peningkatan kapasitas nazhir dan digitalisasi pelaporan. Penggunaan WCP sebagai alat ukur berkala sangat krusial untuk memastikan kepatuhan regulasi dan meningkatkan kepercayaan wakif guna menjamin keberlanjutan manfaat wakaf produktif.
