Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of flash card media in improving science learning outcomes of grade IV students at SDN 09 Kepahiang. This study is a quantitative research with a Quasi Experimental design that aims to test the effectiveness of Flash Card media on the science learning outcomes of grade IV students of SDN 09 Kepahiang. The study involved two groups an experimental group using a Flash Card and a control group using conventional learning methods. The sample consisted of 40 students who were selected purposively, 20 students each in grades IV A and IV B. Data was collected through observation, documentation, and tests in the form of pre-test and post-test. The research instrument was in the form of multiple-choice questions that had been tested for validity (21 valid questions out of 25), reliability (coefficient of 0.758), and difficulty level (the majority of questions were classified as easy to moderate). Data analysis began with a prerequisite test in the form of normality (Chi-Square) and homogeneity (F-test) tests, then continued with hypothesis tests using independent sample t-tests. The results of the analysis aimed to determine the significance of the difference in learning outcomes between students who learned using Flash Cards and those who did not. The findings in the study are that the use of Flash Card media is significantly effective in improving the learning outcomes of science subjects for grade IV students. This is shown by an increase in the average posttest score of the experimental class by 37.75 points to 82.25, which is higher than that of the control class which only increased by 28.5 points with an average of 71.75. The t-test showed statistically significant results (t count = 3.441 > t table = 2.021 at 5%), confirming that the difference in learning outcomes between the two classes did not occur by chance. Flash Cards are proven to help students understand abstract and factual concepts of science through attractive visual presentations and the use of keywords that make it easy to remember. In addition, the interactive nature of this media also increases students' active involvement in the learning process. Thus, Flash Cards not only play a role as a tool, but also as an effective learning strategy in improving the quality of science education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Integrated Islamic Early Childhood Education (PAUD IT) Baitul Izzah Bengkulu is an Islamic-based educational institution that integrates a holistic curriculum grounded in Islamic morals with the national curriculum to shape superior, creative, independent, and noble-charactered generations from an early age. Located within the Great Mosque Baitul Izzah complex in Bengkulu City, the institution aims to prosper the mosque as a center for religious learning, introduce children to the mosque environment, and provide high-quality Islamic education amid the growing public demand for Islamic schools. This institution emphasizes the development of religious character, social skills, and cognitive abilities in a balanced manner. Abstract

This study arises from the pressing need to incorporate technology within the framework of Islamic character education at Permata Bunda Early Childhood Education (PAUD), a domain that has received limited attention. As a response, this research seeks to make a meaningful contribution by promoting technology-driven approaches in early childhood education. This study aims to explore the impact of online learning media on the development of Islamic character in students at Permata Bunda PAUD, Bengkulu City. Employing a qualitative approach and a case study method, the research involves students, teachers, and parents as subjects to understand the dynamics of applying online media in Islamic character education. The findings indicate that online learning media, such as interactive videos, Islamic songs, and religious education applications, positively contribute to instilling values of honesty, discipline, compassion, and responsibility in students. However, its implementation has significant challenges, including limited technological infrastructure, teacher competency, and parental involvement. This study underscores the importance of collaboration among teachers, parents, and educational technology developers to maximize the benefits of online media in Islamic character education. Recommendations are made to enhance teacher competency, provide technological infrastructure, and involve parents in supporting the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat self-regulated learning (SRL) serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 20 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sampel sebanyak 30 siswa yang ditentukan melalui teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket SRL berjumlah 15 item yang mencakup empat indikator, yaitu perencanaan belajar, monitoring belajar, evaluasi diri, dan motivasi belajar. Instrumen telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya dengan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,770 yang menunjukkan reliabel. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif berupa skor, persentase, dan kategorisasi tingkat SRL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat self-regulated learning siswa berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase rata-rata 89,00%. Indikator perencanaan belajar memperoleh persentase tertinggi sebesar 91,46% (sangat tinggi), monitoring belajar 89,58% (sangat tinggi), evaluasi diri 87,71% (tinggi), dan motivasi belajar 87,22% (tinggi). Berdasarkan skor individu, 18 siswa berada pada kategori sangat tinggi, 10 siswa kategori tinggi, dan 2 siswa kategori sedang. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa secara umum telah memiliki kemampuan regulasi diri belajar yang baik. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi SRL siswa meliputi motivasi belajar, peran guru, dan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung pembentukan kemandirian belajar siswa.

Abstract

Background: Although science learning in elementary schools has been a concern in several previous studies, studies specifically discussing the Project Based Learning learning model are still limited.method: This study uses a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design, involving 29 student participants/respondents selected based on purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected using test instruments, observation and documentation and analyzed using a paired sample t-test.Results: The results showed that the average pretest score of 65.66 increased to 81.86 in the posttest. The results of the statistical test showed that the t-count (-9.867) < t-table (-2.048) and a significance value of 0.01 < 0.05, so there is a significant influence between the Project Based Learning learning model on Science Learning Outcomes for Grade III.Conclusion: This study concludes that Project Based Learning plays an important role in improving Science learning outcomes and is recommended for implementation by teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh Peraturan Pembatasan Penggunaan Handphone Terhadap Minat Belajar Peserta Didik Di SD Negeri 50 Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan survey. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan rumus regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan IBM SPSS 25.0 Statistic for windows. Hasil Penelitian Menunjukan Dari Uji Anova dengan F hitung 22,358 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, maka model regresi dapat dipakai untuk memprediksi variabel partisipasi atau dengan kata lain ada pengaruh varibel peraturan pembatasan penggunaan handphone (X) terhadap variabel Minat Belajar (Y). Dari uji R square ditemukan nilai R square sebesar hubungan (R) yaitu sebesar 0,660. Dari output tersebut diperoleh hasil koefisien Determinasi Model Summary di atas diketahui nilai R square sebesar 0,435. Hasil uji t ditemukan bahwa t hitung > t tabel (4,728 > 1,699). Karena t hitung > t tabel maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara peraturan pembatasan penggunaan handphone terhadap minat belajar. Dan dari hasil uji t pula, diketahui nilai sign. 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) ini berarti terdapat pengaruh yang erat antara peraturan pembatasan penggunaan handphone terhadap minat belajar.
